This location is very large and they have a lot of furniture of course. Currently there is a promotion for five years of 0% interest on the items that you buy. One thing I do not like is that you have to get it delivered you can't pick up the stuff yourself. That way you can save like 400 bucks makes no sense to me why should I have to pay you $400 if I can pick it up and pay about 9% less. read more

Sales rep approached myself and fiancé. Spanish speaking representative to be precise! Don't remember her name. She showed us a few sectionals and dinning tables. When we finally decided on what we were buying. She left us for another couple. Horrible customer service experience. Why would you leave your customers in the middle of buying something from you. I think it's because they were buying something more expansive than us. Probably commission based. I had to go 3 times to tell her how long until she was going to come help us. Excuses was 10 more minutes. Waited for over a hour. Finally decided to walk out. I walked passed her, in front of the office. She just smiled and not even apologized about the long wait. My husband, 8 year old daughter and myself went to this store yesterday to purchase new furniture for our living room. I was hesitant because we purchased our dining room furniture from here 5 years ago, and they are super expensive. After visiting a different store previously, my husband convinced me to check out Ashley. We walked through the entire store and finally decided on a sofa, oversized chair and ottoman. When approached by a sales lady, we informed her that we were ready to "check out". She brought us to a computer kiosk and after a few minutes, she informed us that the side tables we wanted were not available at this time. She said, "If you want to go look around more to see if there are other side tables you may want, I'll be right here." We walked around (5-7 minutes) and returned to the kiosk, where Daisy was no where to be found. My husband and daughter headed to the restrooms and I sat there waiting. As I was sitting there, Daisy came out from the back office, walked toward me then turned to her left and hollered (hands wrapped around her mouth to project her voice) "Pugh, PUGH!". She then turned back around and went back into the back. I walked up to the counter as associates were passing by me and talking amongst themselves. Finally, I stopped a woman and told her the situation. She went into the back, came out and proceeded to "chat" with a different associate, as I stood there. I finally asked, "Well? Is she coming out?" The associate that was chatting with her turned around and snarkly said, "She is in meeting, she will be with you when she can." I was so irritated that when my husband returned from the restroom and I told him what had happened, I said, "I don't even want to do business here. I don't want to give them our money." A different associate overheard and apologized deeply for the situation. I asked her if she could help us. Karrisah was such a sweet, attentive associate, who turned the experience around and helped us get checked out. During this transaction, "Daisy" approached us and apologized. "I'm so sorry, I had a meeting." I replied, "Well you could've said that!" Turns out, she is the MANAGER of this store! Absolutely inexcusable! Horrible customer service and management skills. She should be leading by example. I'm an HR Director for a nationwide company. She should be ashamed of herself. Maybe she should stick to employee management and stay away from sales which inhibits her ability to provide customer service to patrons who are spending a lot of hard earned money at that establishment. Thank you Karissah for helping us, being so sweet and attentive and providing exemplary customer service! I gave this store 2 stars ONLY because of Karissah. Im giving it one star because its the only way i could leave my comment. Came in and purchased a living room set on September 8, 2020 was helped by management delivery date was Oct 2nd. To make story short got the run around was given three different delivery dates due to shortage of drivers due to covid. Today November 20th and now am being told my living room is out of stock that it would be available sometime in March 2021. This really was a disappointment manager Devin Arguello was no helpl and showed no professionalism at all. Henry Robinson really had no explanation to why I was sold furniture that hadn't even been built. Devin the manager should of been honest and told me the truth and I would made other plans to purchase my furniture. Will not be coming back to this store for sure. read more

They tried to up charge us the difference between the bed with drawers and non drawers to solve the issues. But that feels like a scam because at the show room we agreed to the product with the drawer at that price. They tried to blame us for not reading the receipts but the salesperson didn't read it either. Anyhow after some discussion, they agree to exchange it with the bed with the drawer, free of charge. Sadly, they forget to replace the side board because the side board is too low for the drawer one. It was like they didn't know the product. The 3rd time, they finally got the product right. My daughter is happy that she got the bed she wanted at the showroom. read more

I'm a couple of months behind on my review, but I have to share it regardless of the time line. I spent almost $9k here- I bought a new living room set, dining room set, buffet and master bedroom set- all at once for my new home. The sales experience all in all wasn't bad even though they refused to take the warranty off the price, said I had to get it when I purchase there. I did ask for it to be removed though since it added several hundred dollars to the total. They said firm no. My salesman was new to Ashley and I was in the store for HOURS while he worked on getting all my items ordered. He was really nice though and patient with me when I picked out my items. After I left the store, it was a nightmare!! They delivered my dining room table but no legs, so it stayed on the floor for weeks (see picture) while I was trying to move in. The dresser back was damaged so they took pics and arranged for a tech to come out and fix it. The chest of drawers was delivered without the feet, so that was ordered as well. These delivery guys were nice and helpful and even left me their own blanket for the table to lay on. They wore shoe covers on my new carpet without me asking, so I did appreciate that. The technician came out (alone) and I had to help him lift all the furniture to replace and fix what was damaged. They didn't send the right feet for the chest of drawers so that wasn't fixed. But they did send 8 dining room legs instead of the necessary 4. So, I have back up in the garage if they ever get scratched. And the back of the dresser couldn't be repaired so I opted to keep as is. That one was my fault. I figured you can't see the back of it- and if the whole thing falls apart one day- at least I have that expensive warranty that I bought! Fast forward to second delivery- delivery of nightstands. The contracted delivery men walked in the door and his shoes were noticeably dirty. I asked him (nicely) to please put shoe covers on before going up my carpeted stairs with the nightstands. He threw a fit, started yelling at his partner in Spanish and called me a couple of not so nice names. They then proceeded to put my nightstands together on the concrete street outside with no protection under them (see photo). I had them leave them in the front foyer when they were done because I was so angry. There were some scratch marks but I was able to repair them and carry them upstairs myself. So, I communicated all of this to the store via text with pictures through my sales man. They did apologize but didn't offer me any kind of refund. They said if I came back in the store they would give me a gift card for a future purchase. Ummmm... no thanks! So, a couple months go by and I get three phone calls in one day about the mirror they needed to fix. There was never anything wrong with the mirror so I have no idea what they were referring to. Also, the chest of drawers legs finally did arrive in the mail. They just weren't the right ones for the chest I purchased so it still sits on the ground... Good luck if you shop here! read more

If there is an option for no star, that is what they deserve. They only care about their sale but very poor customer service. Poojah, the saleslady talked us out & promised to have the items delivered in 2 weeks- none happened. When we followed through, half of what we ordered were still on backorder. We outright refused the protection plan but she still added it on our charges. Fast forward, when we called customer service, they gladly took our return but were advised to go to the store to have the plan cancelled. When we went to the store, the guy behind the desk was no help- we asked for the manager, he was not able to do anything. He was not even empathetic to comfort us or provide solutions....& even kicked us out because we are on a conference call with customer service whom he said does not know what they are doing. We purchased a sofa, love seat, chair and ottoman. Our salesperson verified that the items were in stock before we completed the purchase. We were given a delivery date of February 21. We received several confirmation reminders via email and text which also reminded us that our old furniture should be removed. We were able to get rid of the old furniture a week before delivery. Four days before the scheduled delivery we received a text informing us that only the chair would be delivered that the sofa and loveseat were back ordered. After numerous phone calls we were " guaranteed " that all would be delivered on the 28th. Mind you we have NO furniture. We are sitting on kitchen chairs. Again four days before our delivery date another phone call stating that only the chair would be delivered. I was furious! I asked to speak to the manager at the warehouse and was unable to make contact. I then called the showroom and spoke with the sales manager. He was polite but could not help me other than to offer a "partial" refund on the delivery or find some other items (like I would even consider buying from them.). We had to drive into the showroom to get our refund. In addition our sales person tacked on a protection plan which we did not ask for. No way to run a business. We will spread the word ! read more

I ordered a leather sectional that contained two (2) electronic recliners, a wedge, an armless chair, and a console for drinks, and remote control storage. The delivery drivers showed up and explained that the armless chair was missing. It took weeks for the missing piece to come in. Their customer service was terrible. I try my best to only leave good reviews but after the horrible experience I've had dealing with this location I feel the need to share a few things. This locations sales people used to be wonderful (Bill, David) but now they do not pay attention to detail, they do not actively listen nor do they do what they're asked to do. I placed an order close to $4,000 and the sales rep, Puja (not sure if that's spelled correctly), after being given my updated address and phone number, processed my order to be sent to my old address. When I pointed out her mistake she told me she couldn't fix it and I had to wait for the next day. When that day came, I had to talk to what I can only assume is the only person with any sense there, Gretchen, who was only able to fix part of my delivery address. It has been nearly two weeks, part of my order was delivered to my previous address and when I call for an update I am told they don't know what's going on. After years of shopping and thousands of dollars spent with this location, this will be my last purchase here. My advice is to make sure you verify they have updated your information before you give them any money or sign any paperwork. They are not interested in fixing their mistakes and you'll be the one paying for their mistakes also. Do better Ashley Fairfield....thanks read more

UPDATE 11/6/19 This is the quality furniture that Ashley sells its customers. This is what it looks like 3 months later! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE IN FAIRFIELD!!! This is what they consider a box spring. Went down on Friday and set up an apt for Monday for tech to come out and fix it. Talked to the manager Perry on Saturday confirming they would be out Monday or Tuesday. Called customer service on Monday only to find out that the person in the store and Perry lied to me and no appointment was set. Customer service set the appointment for Wednesday. The technician was very nice and repaired the broken box springs. Also if they would have had to replace it they said that they would not take the old ones with them. Today was my first time coming to Ashley's Furniture Store. My daughter and I were greeted by the most sweetest representative. She assisted as needed and answered all of our questions. Walking into Ashley's seemed a bit dark/ dim lighting but the representative brought such a beautiful light to the store. Her energy and experience definitely made me want to come back. The only reason why I didn't purchase the sofa was they didn't have it in the store where I could get an idea of how soft or firm the cushion is and feel the material. I wish Ashley's would have samples of the material because that might've even changed my mind to purchase it. Tammy is a star at Ashley's in Fairfield and her customer service is amazing. We wandered through the whole store looking for someone to help us. We saw one associate who looked up to notice us in the dining table section but went back to checking her phone. When we finally got an associate's attention to ask about the product, she said no they didn't have it but could order it online. No interest in wanting to ask questions or show us something else. The dichotomy of Ashley furniture stores in Fairfield. The moment you walk in the door, the salespeople start circling like sharks in freshly chummed water - they're overly friendly and interested in selling you something, anything. They're very helpful to assist you in making your purchase and getting it delivered to your home. That's where the helpfulness ends. The one saving grace about this company is the furniture insurance - always buy the insurance. If something goes wrong with your new furniture addition, which it will, they will eventually send out a repairman to fix the item. Sometimes, the piece is beyond repair and needs to be replaced - which is our situation. The repairman deemed our couch unfixable, so it needed to be replaced. We waited for a few weeks with no contact until a delivery company showed up at our door with a delivery, we were unaware we were supposed to be getting. Because we didn't know why they were there, we turned them away. After calling customer service, which was a nightmare, we discovered that they had the wrong phone number on file for us. We rescheduled the delivery in house with their customer service team and waited patiently for the replacement. They informed us there that they would take the old couch and set up the new one. When the driver arrived, he told me they weren't going to take the couch and the orders were for them to not take it. They delivered the new one and set it up. After sitting in it later that evening, we discovered one side was damaged/broke. We again called the call center, a nightmare and ended up going to the store. The customer service rep who had helped us the previous times assures us he would contact the Store Manager Devin Arguello by Saturday (it was Thursday evening and he was off). Needless to say it never happened. We went back in the following Thursday and the same thing happened. We went in again the following Thursday and asked to be contacted by the Regional Manager Mitch Odell. Guess what? That, of course, never happened either. We are still waiting to hear from someone about this issue. read more
