DO NOT buy from the Ashley Furniture in Alliance Town Center location in Fort Worth, TX! They have BED BUGS! I experienced the worst customer service EVER! After purchasing a brand new fabric headboard and the 5yr protection plan(which was $300!) along with it, not even 4 months of having the headboard I started experiencing bite marks each morning. After many attempts to determine the cause of bites, I finally reached out to a pest control agent who confirmed there were quite a few bed bugs and he found the source.... the headboard. After contacting Ashley Furniture about the situation along with sending multiple pics and videos, we received a call from a very rude and uncooperative manager, Jessica. All she wanted was to let us know that Ashley Furniture never had that problem with their furniture and they wouldn't address my concerns. All I wanted was my money back or in-store credit but she told me the only way I could've gotten a return was if we found the bed bugs within 48hrs of the delivery of the headboard. Finally a woman walked past my daughters never speaking then approached me to ask if we were helped after 15 min in store( we walked half the store already). She said she thought I was helped? By who the imaginary workers in store no one said anything to us. We even walked right passed her and a coworker who saw us and just continued talking to each other, ignoring us( only 1 other family was measuring a bed by themselves)so no excuses. After walking the whole store with no assistance ,I noticed one of the workers who ignored us frantically and professionally attempting to assist a customer of another nationality,answering all her questions but ignored us. I understood at that point he must have believed she was the only one with money and not us. Clearly if all 3 of us were purchasing bed sets we had the money! deciding who to help in your store is not ok and will be reported). Was told I'd be receiving my furniture on the 8th of June . Had to call twice just to get ahold of sales guys. Was told 14th...here I am still waiting for my stuff. I'll be cancelling order shortly. Never have we waited so long for furniture to be delivered. Probably taking so long because they're "making it for me" Finally received my purchase on the 6/20th, and my arm chairs came unbalanced. They rock. One foot is shorter. So not only did we wait and wait, we got our product screwed up. Setup an appointment for tech to come fix my chairs 6/25th. Was supposed to be an in home repair. We bought our couch from here and we loved our couch. We were talked into getting the extended warranty and said it would replace our couch if anything happened to it. We tried to use the warranty when my husbands pocket knife fell out of his pocket and put a rip in the couch and they wouldn't replace the cushion or he couch. However this time....Our in store sales person was great....but we still do not have our furniture. It has now been 5 months and we are going on 6. I have called every month since November (when we ordered the furniture) and keep getting told the same things "oh looks like next month" then another person will say "looks like 3-4 weeks"...well it has now been 4 weeks since I called last and I still do not have the furniture I ordered about 6 months ago now. I received my mattress with no problem. But the bedroom set that I paid $5k for I have not seen any of it. I was very pleased with what we got for what we paid. We got a reclining couch and loveseat and couldn't be more pleased. Best pieces of furniture I've ever owned. The delivery guys were great at squeezing these big pieces into our tiny apartment, so massive props to that. I would definitely shop there again. Tips: Financing requires 12% down and don't get suckered by their "Protection Plan" it doesn't cover wear and tear which is generally the biggest issue with furniture. I would shop here again. I purchased a dining room set from Ashley's in Alliance. It took three weeks longer than originally confirmed for the set to arrive to the warehouse. The delivery guys were awesome. Exactly three weeks later the stain literally chipped off from an area of the table. I called and spoke with a representative, she immediately advised me to contact the warranty company. I adamantly told her this was a manufacturer defect. Nevertheless they sent out a tech to repair the defect. It does not look its best. I am so disappointed with Ashley's. I will never buy anything from Ashley again. Bought a sofa online - they confirmed and scheduled delivery. The item was for a vacation property. After an email confirmed delivery again, I drove 4.5 hours (one way) to meet them. Called the morning of scheduled delivery to confirm time. They told me the item was not in stock and would not be delivered - somehow they did not know this 30 days prior or even 24 hrs before scheduled delivery? They wasted 2 days of my time. I had already removed items in the property to facilitate delivery only to find out the item was never in stock and they had no intention of delivering on that date. Had I not called to confirm I would still be waiting. They owe me for gas and time - will never see that. Usual corporate crap! Buy local and put it in the back of the pickup yourself if you want something done correctly. They are worthless! If I ran my business like that, I would go broke and I hope they do go broke. The actual service from the sales reps that we received in the store was awesome, our sales rep was Danthony and he was absolutely wonderful and has nothing to do with this review so shout out to him for being awesome for us being 1st time buyers. My bad review is for the back end of Ashley furniture. They are constantly telling me my orders are ready when they are not. I've placed an order for a bed set In October and just last week received it. However i was notified an hour prior to delivery that my mattress would not be coming with it. That is absolutely unacceptable. I get a call today that my mattress is now ready and needs to be scheduled for delivery. Okay I go to schedule it and get told that ohhhh actually it's not. The mattress is not gonna be ready for another 2-4 weeks. Sooo what was the point of telling me it's ready?? I called to speak to a supervisor and pretty much got told "oh well sorry nothing we can do" as I sleep on the hard floor and nothing can be done about it. Worst experience I have ever had with furniture and the warranty. Have gone back and forth with their warranty service and them for months with no repairs to my furniture. They said that I would get money back if I didn't use the warranty. Sounds like I'm getting $160 back on over $1000 spent for literally no repairs and a giant headache. When you call the warranty service they say they sent everything back to Ashley and that they cancelled the warranty in October per my request. Buyer beware!!! Sure, salesmen are widely known as being dishonest, but this store takes it to an entirely new level. This store makes up their own rules as they go along from the salesman, to the office worker, to the manager. I bought multiple furniture sets over the years with Premier Protection Plans. I received letters with plan agreement numbers which stated that you will receive store credit if you don't use the protection plan. So, my daughter needed a dresser and we went to the store to use our credit. Upon finding a dresser, we went to the office person to verify our credit amount, it was $317. However, now the office worker states that $500 must be spent before $100 could be used. So, we'd have to spend $1500 to use the $300 worth of credit. It says nothing of this on the paperwork or the legal fine print. After being livid and getting home I called the Ashley's Customer Care Department who says that a merchandise credit is no longer showing on my account. I purchased an expensive mattress from Ashley Furniture in Ft Worth Texas. Our sales rep., Rudy, said our mattress came with a 90 day comfort guarantee. I had to keep mattress for at least 30 days then could exchange for same price or higher if we decide we did not like mattress. Rudy then asked if I wanted to pay an additional $299 for a mattress protecting warranty. I said no, then asked if it would effect the 90 day guarantee, Rudy said no, just tell customer service I used my own mattress protective covering, which we did. We purchased a waterproof protective mattress cover. I went to store on day 31 and spoke with Rudy asking to exchange mattress. He pulled up our account and said no problem, we picked out new mattress. Rudy then asked if we had contacted customer service. (Never mentioned warranty and even told my husband we could exchange) We had not, so Rudy said he would email customer service and have someone contact us to get exchange started. Six days later, no contact. We reached out to Rudy, who dropped the ball and forgot to email customer service. He told us to call them. I called customer service who asked for pictures of mattress, box springs, tag on mattress and our warranty. I said we did not purchase warranty but used our own mattress protective cover. Immediately I was told the 90 day comfort guarantee is voided and we could not exchange mattress. I told them Rudy said we could and they said he was wrong. I reached back out to Rudy, who will no longer return my call or text messages. We are now stuck with a $3200 mattress. I was lied to and verbally told I had the 90 day guarantee. I was told to sign paperwork that said I did not purchase warranty but again told with my own protective covering I would still be covered. I even have this in a text from Rudy! We are having a similar experience as Jonathan J. Keith was our salesman and during the sale helpful. However, we noticed the paperwork had the wrong delivery address so my husband went up to the store to change it. When he did, Keith told him that our promised date of August 2nd delivery will now be at the earliest August 13th. He had not bothered to call us. Not sure how or when we were going to be advised?? If I was able to go negative I would. How do I start? I purchased a furniture set the first day that the store re-open (04/252020?). I scheduled the delivery for may 23rd. Days before the delivery was supposed to take place, I called to push it back to May 30th. When I called the representative said: "OH, we have you scheduled for June 3rd". To which I replied, this is new information, nobody told me this. The reason for the delay was due to the tables not being available. I asked if they could split the delivery, she said no. I was fine with waiting the extra days. Fast forward to June 1st and I have not received any type of confirmation. I purchased different stuff from Nebraska Furniture and Rooms to Go during the same time and they kept updating me with the status of the orders. I got worried so I decided to call, these phone calls don't take 5 minutes to make. When I was able to get someone to confirm my delivery, the lady said: Oh!, we got you scheduled for June 12". I asked why and she couldn't give me an answer. This is the second delay without notification. I drove to the store to ask for a full refund and to cancelled the order. I met the store manager, Teresa Cockell, she asked me for a few hours so that she could figure out what happened. I decide to give her a chance, I said to myself: "she is the manager, she might be able to help me. I really want this furniture set". I left the store while she "worked something out". She gave me her personal number to reach out to. I believe that she had the best intentions on helping, but the way that the corporate offices have set the process is leaving her with her hands tied. Nothing was solved and I settled to have my furniture delivered on June 11th. Fast forward to June 9th, I get both text and email confirmation at 5:20 pm, that everything was being delivered on June 11th. I'm happy and excited, finally! At 6:06 pm I received another email from Adrian McKinney, stating to call 1-866-787-7930 to discuss "any issues associated with my delivery". I immediately called but they were closed, Sweet! I called the very next morning to make sure that everything was okay. After 30 minutes waiting to get a live person, the representative tells me: " The tables are getting delivered but the sofa and love seat are not available" What?!?! The things that could be delivered back in May are suddenly not available anymore?!?!?! I was livid and trying to find someone to talk to, nobody at the store answered. I called 1-866-436-3393, I spent over an hour waiting and talking to a customer representative called Shai S. (they won't give you last names) After explaining everything to her, she called the store where-house, Tammy answered her call. Tammy assured that everything was being delivered on June 11 (next day), that I received bad information. At this point, I have no faith, but I decided to believe. Okay, great...the delivery will be tomorrow between 1:30 and 4:30 pm, we are ready! At 11:50 am today (June 11th) I received a text message that the delivery guys are 20 minutes away. They can't even deliver on time. I make my wife race home to be there. The delivery guy calls me and I tell him: "we were expecting you at 1:30, my wife will be there at 1:00 pm, please don't go. We've been expecting this for a long time" To which he replied: "Well, I just have three tables here, they are light. I can leave in front of your door" Hahahaha!! To add insult to injury, the guy signed for me. I have it all recorded on my doorbell camera. I called the store and they say that the sofa will be available June 18th and the love seat on July 15th. I was offered to take the furniture set that I picked, that was on display at the store!! They wanted me to take a used set for the same price and for me to pay for another delivery. That was their only offer to me. At that point I told the store manager (via text message) to cancel the order and to refund me the money. She said okay but that it would be a partial refund until the tables were returned. I asked that they could still do a full refund in good faith but no, there is no accommodations to be made. I asked if I could return the tables myself to the store and Mrs. Cockrell replied no, that they are not authorized to accept returns. With everything that happened they wouldn't even accept the tables, no exceptions. I was instructed that the tables had to be either returned to the warehouse in Gran Prairie or wait for them to pick them up. No other solutions. My wife decided to drive from Northlake to Gran Prairie to return the tables (I was at work). When she gets there we have to explain why we are returning the merchandise. To add insult to the injuries, nobody helped my wife unload the car, instead the men that were standing were saying "you are a strong lady" . Wow! Reading a lot of these reviews it makes me even more mad at the situation I experienced last night because it seems the warehouse would have been so slow it would have worked out after all. Me and my husband close on our home February 15th so we weren't really in the market to buy when we entered the store last night. But they had a half off sale which was fabulous. We ended up finding a couch we loved and were ready to purchase. However, I was told it would take 2 weeks to get to the warehouse and we would have to accept delivery within 2 weeks. That's about 10 days sooner than we can. We can't accept delivery to our furnished apartment. They were unwilling to help us in our situation. They could not push off the ordering of it and would not offer us a rain check to come back in 10 days to purchase it when the timing would have lined up. The associate offered us absolutely no alternative solutions and basically just sent us out the door. Middle aged light skinned African American man. (Was bald) Most of the time when people buy furniture it's because they moved or are getting ready to move into a new place. So this can't the first time this situation has come up and I'm sure there was something that could have been done or at least the staff should have a better attitude. My wife and I love this Ashley Furniture location. But not nearly as much as we love our sales associate Tamara. To give you some history, when we decided to move to Fort Worth my wife called this location from Colorado. Tamara took care of us before we even moved. Since moving we have bought everything from dining room sets, bedroom sets and movie theater chairs. I'll just say it. Tamara is so good at her job that we probably bought more just because she went out of her way to insure we got top quality furniture at amazing prices. She is amazing and we have a good time when shopping. She knows me from a distance and it's funny since I'm like the whitest guy on the planet, and she can hear me yelling "heeeeeey giiirrrl." Here it is middle of May and there not even supposed to get it to the "warehouse" until 27 May. Meaning I probably won't have a couch until middle of June!!! I bought two electric lounge chairs at Ashley Alliance store, one December 13, 2021 from the store, the other matching lounger that I picked up at the warehouse on December 15, 2021. The electrical mechanism on the lounger I brought home from the warehouse has never worked. I paid over $1700.00 for both loungers. I have been on the phone numerous times with customer service, sales representative, and the warehouse and every single person has given me a different date for someone to come out and fix this situation. The right hand definitely does not know what the left hand is doing. I have been given four different dates and was just told that it would be April before anyone will be able to come out. I did it backwards. I purchased THEN read the reviews and as I read, the pit in my stomach got deeper and deeper. Yes, it took a little longer to get our furniture than we initially anticipated but we were contacted by them to inform us and even then it was just by a day or two. We respected them for letting us know ahead of time and not the day of. The employee who greeted us at the door was not pushy and guided us to possibilities that were not out of the question & reasonable as well as he was plain helpful. This company is by far the biggest scam and a bunch of thieves. I paid upfront for a sofa, loveseat, coffee table, 2 end tables and a kitchen table. The loveseat, coffee table and kitchen table came in when they told us it would be in stock. That was in April. Here it is September and we have yet to receive our sofa and 2 end tables. Every month it gets pushed back further and further. Yesterday I called and they are now telling me my sofa will be here in "December" until that gets pushed back to January. Our 2 end tables are now pushed back to June 22 of 2022!!!!! All this company cares about is their money. Once you pay up front they no longer give a damn about you. They will give your furniture when ever they feel like it and will not make it a priority. The salesman at this store in Alliance Texas is a liar and will send text messages to my wife that the sofa is in stock and then turn around and tell her he didn't mean to say that. I will be taking this to court and we will be getting our money back. Yall can come get yalls stuff and we will be happy to go somewhere else. I will not spend a dime at this company ever again. We've been on the hunt for a dining room set and a sofa, and although we've been here and looked many times now, we always leave empty handed. Just not finding what we are looking for. We'll keep trying, as this is one of the local big box furniture stores, but starting to lose faith and realizing we might have to look further than our own back yard :(.
