I absolutely love shopping at Ashley Home. Literally, their line of products are comparable to exotic candy, and I'm the kid in the exotic candy store. Visiting and searching for a dual recliner, they have an amazing one! So then I took a glance at bedroom sets, and voila! I bought a bedroom set! So excited . The price to quality ratio makes their furniture very affordable. Second to none, really. Which brings us to customer service. Beyond 5 star . My rep is Brennan, who had all the time in world for me. I mean he listened to what I needed then found exactly that. All the while maintaining a relaxing atmosphere and chattiness. In fact, we are now social media friends. Finally, more customer service accolades. I had a card issue that both Tyler (operations manager) and Will (general manager) worked tirelessly to resolve. $2,500 couch. 8 weeks of of one of the recliners not working properly, the frame was clearly tweaked. Then they botched the fix. Finally agreed to give us a new unit and that one has a frame that doesn't seat properly either. The other couch in the set seats and lines up perfectly. No reason for this unit to not also be completely correct. Major decline in quality and customer service is nice to your face but won't actually get you a proper remediation. Not the most expensive couch ever but at that price it better be built right. We've purchased our last furniture from Ashley, I recommend you look elsewhere. read more

Disappointed with @AshleyFurniture warranty process in Grandville, Michigan. My mattress has visible sagging, measured at 1.25". Denied because it's "¼ inch under threshold." Just over 2 years ago i bought my first brand new couch, and chair with ottoman. Loved this set but the ottoman keeps sagging to one side. They were so nice and fixed it after i had it for almost a year. Now a year later it's doing it again and looks terrible. Now I'm stuck with this pathetic looking ottoman. All they could do is tell me "nothing lasts forever these days" basically telling me their products are garbage and are not going to last. So i wouldn't waste your time unless you want furniture that will only last for a few years. Save yourself the headache and don't waste your time and money. read more

Beware - Deceptive Sales Tactics and No Accountability In August of 2023, we purchased a Seeley mattress from the Grandville, MI Ashley Home Store. As we were trying mattresses and working with the sales person (Tom), we were told that they would cover any body indents that developed as long as we purchased their mattress cover. By February, the mattress had become unsupportive, and had an indent, so we started the claim process. It was at this point that we learned that the claim process requires measurements that unfairly benefit the manufacturer. You have to measure the indent to the top layer of fabric only. This measurement does nothing to show the degradation of the materials within the mattress, and the fabric stretches across the indent. I even took pictures with a 45lb weight sitting in the middle of the mattress and another 45lb weight sitting in the indent, measured the difference in deflection, and provided that to Ashley's Claim center. They did not accept these pictures and said my claim is denied. Do not fall for this company's sales tactics, they do not stand behind their products, and have no accountability after they make the sale! read more

Just a quick update on our post of 2/22/23. Ashley delivered a replacement Love Seat but it looked like a floor model, it was dirty and had a run on one side like a knife scraped it. The replacement Accent Chair had to be forced by the delivery men to sit level and in the process the fabric got twisted. We are still waiting on the couch; I was told it arrived this week but because they schedule their trucks a week in advance it couldn't be delivered until the week of the 27th. Ashley did give a credit of $300 to provide 3 pieces of furniture with 2 damaged and no couch. As mentioned in the prior post the sales process is great the fulfilling their promise is where they fail. AGAIN GO ANYWHERE ELSE - at least it can't be worse. read more

I went in with my husband to see their selection of rocker/recliners and my first thought was, "This place looks well put together." We went on a Saturday and the place was filled with associates everywhere. Many associates were talking amongst themselves or walking around aimlessly and not helping anyone. Having worked in retail for many years myself, I decided to put them to the test. We walked around the entire store twice in front of every associate and not a single one of them greeted us or asked if we needed assistance. I was dumbfounded. There were probably about 7-10 associates working on the floor and 80% of them were free. My next thought was, "okay this was the strangest thing I've ever experienced." No one wanted to help us. So we decided to walk even closer to an associate and all he said was, "Happy New Year, thanks for shopping locally," and continued to just watch us search by ourselves. I even tried saying things out-loud right next to employees like, "Hmm I'm not seeing any," or "I can't find any," and still no response! So I finally decided to look on their giant touchscreen website to see if I could find what I was looking for. I found a recliner that matched what I was looking for on the screen, but no price. I figured, oh it's probably one of those gimmicks where you have to add it to your cart in order to see the price, so I did. I then proceeded to click on the cart to find the price and NOTHING! No prices were found. I got absolutely no help at all from anyone there and so we walked out. My husband and I are 30 years old and we felt discriminated against because of how young we look. I saw other associates helping older people and families, but not us, no matter how obvious we were trying to make it that we needed help without going up and asking someone. We were in the store for a solid 15 minutes. It was ridiculous! You need to teach your employees how to be good salespeople! read more
