John greeted us and asked a few questions about our sleep, then recommended a few options that he thought would fit us. Once he showed us his recommendations, he gave us space and didn't hassle us. He didn't try to push something that was above our budget. He checked in a couple of times just to see if we needed any water or if we had questions. John was very honest and did not push us into making a purchase. He's the reason we decided to go ahead and purchase a mattress from this location. He recommended several options based on our current sleep issues and habits. We ended up finding the perfect mattress and couldn't be happier. León with the delivery team was awesome as well-- in and out, respectful, on time, and cautious of my property while they were carrying the new and old mattress upstairs. Mind you, I was charged a $96 restocking fee which if I was returning a pallet of heavy tiles I would understand, but a handful of pencil tiles I could carry in, ridiculous! Then I was refunded an incorrect amount. When I reached out to the manager, he told me unfortunately there were two broken tiles. I told him I returned 63 (to include 3 free ones that were given to me as samples under my contractor's account which I was in no way required to return) so a total of 63 pieces. I explained if only two were broken that still leaves 61 that were not so I should receive a full refund. All of the tiles I bought were wrapped by them and unopened. The 3 samples were not and full disclosure, one of the samples was broken and I was aware when I returned it. He told me all 3 were returned to the contractors account "unbroken"and I would be charged for the broken ones. I can only assume he chose to ignore that the ones that were bought only contained 1 broken and a broken sample and protect the stores bottom line by returning the free ones back to the stores inventory and let the client increw the cost. Unfortunately the manager in my opinion did not do right by this client. If your business model is protect the store and the contractors, then he did his job. I would tell you to beware and ask the what if questions. Also, floor and decor does NOT charge a restocking fee and they are MUCH cheaper

We…read morespent $8,000 on 8mm flooring that the Houston manager insured us was high quality, which is why we wanted 8mm. We had it installed by a contractor who has done other floors in our subdivision with no issues. We had them installed the week of 3/16/26 and within a couple of weeks we noticed dents and scratches all over the house. I called the Houston store about our issues. The manager then told me that our flooring was a new line and he had never sold it before! I filed a claim with their HQ and sent many pictures. That is just one attached showing dents and scratches after only 8 days. They sent our flooring for testing and emailed me saying that the flooring did not meet their standards. They gave examples of multiple deficiencies with their product that the Houston store sold us telling us how great it was. They are now telling us we have to take more product from them and they will not pay us back for our $7,000 installation fee. They said we would have to pay that again to have more of their product installed. We consulted an attorney and are now going to take them to court. We want our money back, not more defective product, as well as our installation cost. We would have never had that product installed had we known it was defective and they had never even sold any of it. It is on LL to test their products before they sell them. That was not our job. I will never do business with this company again and would never recommend them.
