Ashley frauded me and did not apply my warranty credit!!! Please see the email where I was told on my Synchrony account that the credit balance should be $968.22. Instead Ashley reported to Synchrony the amount with without the warranty credit I earned (my last purchase was a faulty couch)!!! The amount they charged was $1420.77!!! They already screwed up prior by overcharging me in the store the non-Memorial day price then Jessica's excuse "it is impossible to keep track of online deals." I would find a different furniture store! After purchasing several pieces of furniture from this Ashley we starting having issues with the sectional and the frame broke. We reported to the store but because it took 2 weeks to get an appointment and us having to move it fell out of warrant (yes because we moved after I reported the issue) and the extended warranty denied because it was more than 30 days past we were stuck with a broken sectional less than a year old and nobody seem to care. I wrote a review and immediately received a call from the store offering me a replacement only if I removed my review but would not schedule the delivery until the review was down. I removed the review thinking they finally wanted to solve the problem. But.....they only delivered part of the sectional (the part with the broken frame) and left me with the other half of the couch. There is a 2 inch difference in cushion height and they two pieces do not fit together right not to mention the color difference. I called them back and spoke to the same person and after she talked to her Manager they said there is nothing they can do for me. I can either keep it as is or they can deliver the broken piece back to me. When I asked to speak to the field leader in charge she said "it will just come back to me anyway". Buyer BEWARE! We purchased a sofa several years ago and it wasn't a cheapie. We purchased a warranty because it had a motor on each side to use the reclining feature. We called Ashley in January because we had purchased the extended warranty and they promptly sent a furniture repair company to assess the problem. One of the motors burned out and an approval was sent January 28 for us to receive the part. It's now May 2nd and no part. I have called NUMEROUS times and no way to get to any kind of a supervisor or service or part. No part and no definite time when we will receive it. Seriously? They could have gotten the part on Amazon in a few days. They just don't care. I have purchased other furniture from Ashley but NEVER again! Ashley's Vs. Living Spaces I just bought a new dinning table from Ashley's and though the table seems to be of good quality there are some major difference in the quality of the product delivery. 1. I bought a dinning table just a couple years ago from Living Spaces and that table was delivered and set up with sturdy chairs that didn't rock. This table from Ashley's was dropped off today and they left so fast I didn't even realize every chair was thrown together with uneven legs. So much so that using them at all would damage the floor. 2. The a Living Spaces set came with nice plastic pads screwed into each leg so the floor wouldn't be damaged. Ashley's is just wood to floor. 3. When I called Ashley's back about the chairs they said they should have been balanced ,but that they can't send anyone out to fix it for a week and they can't give me a time, just a day so I have to cancel all plans to wait around for another whole day a WEEK from now just to have them correct what should have been done originally. To be clear this review is only for the very poor customer service I received from management after the sale. I nicely requested to exchange a piece of furniture immediately after it was delivered due to it bothering my legs. I was even willing to pay another delivery charge or I would have even paid a re-stocking fee to exchange the sofa-sleeper I ordered. Not only did management Not reach out to me, they did Not even offer any options for me except that I am stuck with what I ordered. It wasn't that I changed my mind on the furniture for no reason. Do not buy from Ashley Homestore. Absolute nightmare in delivery. We ordered in the store on Sept 6th, 2021. The sales rep told us with confidence there would be a delay but would arrive by end of October 2021 at the latest. Now the store is telling me it's on backorder and showing arrival at the warehouse on April 22,2022! While there maybe supplychain issues, this 6 month delay is unacceptable on top of the 2 month waiting period they initially shared. They should provide monetary compensation for this to drive customer loyalty instead of losing customers and future customers that may read this and realize they don't want to wait 6-8 months to enjoy something they purchased. read more

The driver shows up two days late from the day the schedule was made and only picks up one item. Says there is no pick up order for the second item. We call the store again and was told they forgot to put a request for both items to be picked up. Driver shows up late again next week picks up the second item. It's been almost a month and we're still waiting to get our money back from Ashley. They charged us for delivery of the items that were delivered in the wrong color and were completely their fault. I will never shop here again, will tell everyone I know not to, and I hope no one reading this will either. I purchased a $1000 power recliner chair. Of course I sat it in it in the store, but ya know, that's about 5 minutes worth of sitting. Overall, Ashley is a decent place to shop. Most of the sales people can be quite friendly however, my recent experience with Vern Sorensen was absolutely despicable. I purchased a coffee table and an end table which he promised white glove delivery service (assembled) only to have the delivery guys show up at my door with two huge heavy boxes for me to assemble !! Clearly any of these 4 or 5 star reviewers have never had to experience this store's customer service department when an order arrives damaged. If you must order from this horrible store, you better make sure you select the extra $120 delivery charge for setting up the furniture, because if not, and it arrives damaged you are screwed. We needed a quick replacement couch as my wife was 8 1/2 month pregnant, and ordered a $600 one from them on a Saturday with free delivery on a Monday, asked if we wanted them to professionally put the couch together (consisting of adding the four nob legs to it, yes that is all) for an extra $120 and we passed. Arrived when expected but the frame was broken. Called customer service immediately and they say they have to get a technician out to see if they can fix the couch, first available date was 3 weeks later. If they can't "fix" the couch they can then order a new one, which could take another 2-3 weeks for it to arrive. All of this instead of sending a replacement for the broken couch they delivered. The whole point of getting a couch from them quickly in the first place was to ensure it was handled before the baby arrives, fail. If you must purchase anything from them (DON'T - RUNAWAY), pay their $120 extortion fee or begin a nightmare that will never end. I guarantee it will destroy your faith in commerce, customer service, and humanity in general. We purchased a couch over a month ago. Upon delivery we were informed (by the men your company hire) that the couch was missing legs. They told us it would take three days to get new legs, but if we rejected the couch it would take months to get a new couch. We opted to have the legs shipped to us. It didn't take three days, It took three weeks to get the legs and another week to get a technician here to assemble the couch. During this month long wait we could not use the couch. The chase had legs the rest of the couch did not rendering the couch uneven and unable to connect. The arms were not attached to the couch creating a safety issue. Once the technician finally came to assemble the couch he informed us that the legs on the chase were broken and that not only the legs were missing but the rollers were also missing. The guys who delivered the couch failed to tell us about the legs on the chase being broken nor did they tell us about the rollers. The rollers were never ordered so here we are waiting again for parts. I called customer service and I asked for a manager to call me back. They told me they would call me back the next day. A week later, I'm still waiting. I was told I should go to the store and talk to a manger. I went into the store with my three kids in tow last week. I was told that they couldn't do anything there and that they would have to contact your regional manager. A week later I'm still waiting. Waiting is all I seem to be doing. Waiting for the couch we paid for (Ashley Furniture has our money and we have junk), waiting for quality customer service (somebody to actually care). We still can't use our coach for what it's intended for. We don't have rollers. We were told this was a quality couch when we purchased it yet we have broken legs, missing rollers, and when we put a little weight on the arm rest it makes a loud cracking noise as if something was breaking inside the arm rest of the chase. I don't want this couch. I don't want anything from Ashley Furniture. This whole experience has been terrible. Hands down the worst customer service I have experienced. We were deceived by the guys that delivered the couch, we were told by the technician that it was OUR fault for trusting the guys who the company hired to delivered the couch. Beware of unethical business practices at this location. I made a very large purchase here and ended up having to cancel a few items, including a tempur pedic mattress. Upon cancelling the items, I received several TEXT MESSAGES from the salesperson, Fred, who claimed that the discounts I received were based on the mattress purchase, and so the prices we agreed on would be changing due to the cancelation. "Because of the tempur pedic mattress, you had a big discount. There is a new adjustment price now." "You had $(X) savings off this order. Once we remove the mattress from the order, the discounts associated with it get removed." This is against the Ashley return policy, which states that any items canceled before delivery will be fully refunded without penalty. After asking Fred to show me in writing where it was stated in the contract that I "received discounts based on the mattress purchase" and where it stated that "agreed-upon prices change if items are cancelled", the manager, Stephanie, called me to resolve the issue. She claimed that Fred was simply "miscommunicating" and "misspoke" in regard to removing the discounts. Sure, Stephanie. She said she would issue my refund immediately and that it would be reflected in my account within 7-10 days. After 12 days of waiting, I contacted customer service, who informed me that the refund was NEVER ISSUED. It is bewildering how these people are trusted to represent the mission, vision, and values of Ashley Furniture Industries. Fred and Stephany have failed their employers. I am giving two stars because I like the furniture I received, but because of the unprofessionalism and deceit I experienced, I will NEVER make a purchase from this store again. read more
