The salesman sold me Reguard insurance warranty in which is total BS. Do not buy the up-sale of the extra insurance , on the salesman's word. The sofa we purchased does not cover seams. Spills , cigarette burns. Etc accidental. Please read contract. I am not going to call out the sales person that told me it would be covered. This is the 3rd time I've ordered something from Ashley. I do order online, and can't tell you where the furniture is actually sent from. Twice boxes came with missing parts. First time, I purchased bar stools. The piece that people put their feet on was missing. They took 2+ weeks to send me another box of the bar stool; can't order individual parts. The 2nd time, I ordered coffee & end tables. They arrived without a pack of certain black washers that were needed. This time, they sent me a refund instead of waiting another 2+ weeks to send them to me. I had to order them on Amazon, because I couldn't find them locally. 3rd time was a kitchen table/chairs. I haven't put together the chairs yet, but it took the table 2+ more weeks to show up. SMH The table had a blemish on it after I put the legs on. I'm always careful not to damage anything I buy. Their furniture has a wide variety, but they seem to be disorganized and the fulfillment center isn't doing their job. I wanted to order a bedroom set in pieces, and asked several customer service reps if it would to out-of-stock before I finished. Of course they said it wouldn't. I didn't trust them, so I didn't start buying pieces. Guess what? It's been discontinued and had I bought a piece of 2, I wouldn't have a matching set. Don't lie to your customers for quick sales. Do Not shop at this Ashley Furniture store or any. I purchased a bedroom set and a sectional sofa. When I ordered my furniture, Ashley stated it will take 2 weeks to build then delivery. Two weeks came, I received 2 nightstands with 1 damaged and not functioning properly, dresser damaged, sectional sofa that was fine, and NO bed frame which they stated was on backorder. I had the delivery guys take the dresser back and I told them to take the 1 nightstand. The delivery guy stated I should keep the nightstand because Ashley is only going to fix it and send the same 1 back. The biggest mistake I ever made was keeping something that was damaged. Another 2 weeks go by, I am expecting my remainder of bedroom furniture to be delivered since Ashley gave me another 2 weeks from 1st delivery. I received a call 2 days before expected delivery, the representative stated she was sending someone out to repair the 1 nightstand and did not mention on the call about delivery of other furniture until I proceeded to ask. She apologized and stated my bed frame was still on backorder, so nothing will be delivered at that time. I told the representative that I should have been told before ordering my order that the bed frame was on backorder. I told the representative that I did not want anyone coming to fix anything at that time and that everyone should come on the same day as delivery since I have to take off work to be there. Another few weeks go by, still no phone call from Ashley to confirm my delivery. I called to get confirmation, and the representative stated the bed frame was still on backorder. I requested compensation for waiting so long and they claimed I was getting $200 back for my delivery fee for my inconvenience. Ashley furniture lied and I never received $200. After the 3rd failed expected delivery, I called Ashley to request a refund on everything except the sectional sofa. Ashley customer service claimed that the Ashley store in Stonecrest had to start the refund process. I spoke with the Stonecrest store, they claimed someone in business would have to contact me to start a refund on another day. I waited a few days and called back. They claimed there was a case number and I had to wait for their call. The next day, Ashley proceeded to call me to tell me that they can deliver all my furniture on September 4, 2024. I informed them that I was in the process of getting a refund on furniture I never received and returning furniture received that was damaged. They stated there was no need for the return since everything was ready. I told them I am not accepting anything and I was already upset that I have spent thousands of dollars on furniture that I have not received or was damaged. The next several days Ashley kept sending me many texts, calls and emails stating furniture is ready for delivery. I spoke with someone at Ashley warehouse and told him that I will not be receiving any furniture. The warehouse person informed me that a message was placed in the system that I no longer wanted the furniture. I finally got someone on the phone at the corporate office a few days later that told me my case is still pending on refund. I called corporate again a week later and this time someone started my refund on the furniture I refused. I asked about the nightstands. I wanted a refund since I did not want to keep them if they go with a bedroom set, I don't have completed. She stated that the case is still pending since I accepted the furniture in my home. It has been several weeks now, I called corporate again today 10/1/24 to speak to someone. He proceeds to tell me there are no returns from any Ashley stores except for online purchases. I told him if that was the case, why do I see on Ashley's website that I can return items within 30 days if not satisfied. Mind you, I requested the refund within the period and the representative proceeds to give me a case number. Throughout this 2-month period, I have learned a valuable lesson that I will not purchase anything at Ashley's furniture. I believed the Ashley's store in Stonecrest GA knew before I confirmed my order that items were on backorder. I believe the salesperson was only thinking about making a sale and he could care less about the inconvenience placed on the customers. I will tell every family member and friend to spend their money somewhere other than this company. I ordered an entire bedroom suit plus office desk and three items were damaged not once, not twice, not even three times but FOUR DELIVERIES and the items were all damaged from either the factory, warehouse, or transportation. They were even so bold as to send the exact same damaged items more than once hoping I would not notice or remember it. Save your money, time, and frustration and buy your furniture elsewhere. I've ordered a few items from Ashley and honestly I don't know why I keep giving this store the benefit of the doubt because this is my second bad experience with receiving damaged merchandise. Well that stops now! My most recent purchase was for a bench to go at the foot of my bed. Loved it in store, but when it was delivered to my home, it was damaged. You can see in the pictures that I didn't even take the item out of the box after noticing the wood being split. Well it's been over 3 weeks since I've reported this issue to Ashley and they still haven't replaced the item. I've visited the store twice and made 3 phone calls including one to corporate and still no resolution. Obviously they have permanently lost my business since I am stuck with an item that I can't even use. Horrible customer service! I went to the store to purchase slats to use on a full size bed frame. The salesperson stated they would work. I was confirming as the website promote.that they can be used on existing frames. There were more on the store so delivery was my only option. I received the item and they do not work with existing bed frames only platform bases sold in there store. I call the store and was informed once you get furniture delivered you have 72 hrs to return it. The item was delivered early morning so 10 of my hrs I was at work. My daughter purchased a bedroom set and mattress from the Lithonia location. The headboard was damaged and the mattress has a downward slope. So the set up team called and reported issues. The rep came out and said, "they did a terrible job putting set together". So he fixed the headboard problem and basically said she is stuck with the bad mattress. Wow. It can be a little intimidating trying to fill a new home with furniture but not know really where to start. You're trying to make everything look like Architectural Digest but you're also trying not to break the bank. My advice: shop around. Get some ideas of what you want and keep in mind that you'll have to deal with that furniture if you move. It's better to really fall in love with the piece that you have and move it with you! Every city has its version of Ashley's which is a store with predesigned premade "rooms" that you can walk into. Each piece of furniture in the interior designed show areas is for sale. When you walk in you're greeted by a customer service person. All of them are clearly trained to make friends with you. You expect that at stores like these because each person is probably making commission from the sales that they make. They want you to like them and remember them. Our sales associate, Andrew, was cheery and full of energy. That should be the expectation for a store like this but what Andrew had that was above and beyond other people whom I have worked with is his knowledge about the furniture and his willingness to work with you to get the best price. We bought a dining room table and a mattress and these are solid pieces. We could find all the rustic pieces we were looking for in the store and they fit perfectly in our new space. I know other people have had issues with their delivery service but to be honest, they were right on the money when they quoted us a time and each person took care when delivering the furniture into our house. They walked through each piece of furniture before they had me sign any paperwork and left. Thus far, I have had a great experience with this Ashley's store and I enjoyed working with Andrew. Will be back for more furniture... just need to figure out where everything needs to go! read more

I walked in the store and was greeted by the sales people on the floor. I was also given the labor day sale paper to see the specials they were offering. I had a picture of a couch that was on sale on the website and it was five dollars cheaper in the store. SWEET! I purchased my furniture but I had to wait a week to get it because I couldn't take a day off work so decided to wait for a weekend. Here's where it gets tricky. A couple days later I get a text from Ashley Furniture (The company) asking if I can confirm the date. I text back my confirmation. It also text me back giving me a time window. I confirmed via text. (It also text my secondary number as well which text back the same confirmation) I even called to confirm and actually spoke with someone. The day of my delivery came and someone from the store called me and says that I need to schedule a delivery date. I informed the woman from the store that I was already given a day and it was in the next. I told her to call to double check. She called me back and said I wasn't scheduled for that day. I went straight to the store. Long story short I could not get my money back for the delivery even though it was not delivered on the intended day. They only gave me ten percent back and I had to wait three more days. As I said, nothing wrong with ashley furniture it is the delivery system. So the dresser came and it was discolored, they will send someone out to,I guess pant the dresser, helloooo! I didn't pay for a dresser that needs to be painted. They also sold me a mattress that feels like a brick when they delivered it. When I, complained the manager Lisa called me and said there is nothing that they can do about the mattress. These people are horrible and shouldn't be in business at all. What they don't know I will be out front protesting. If you gone take my money I will make sure you lose money also. I would never treat people the way they do. No apathy or consideration for the customer. Ashley furniture is a very nice place to shop for furniture. The employees don't come running up to you like sharks but actually let you shop, it's impressive! The main Sales person that helped us out was very pleasant and checked the products we were interested in to see if they are in stock immediately. After having a bad experience at another furniture store in ATL, I really appreciated that! They had a number of pieces I was interested in, for example a couple coffee tables and a sectional couch (which were all in stock). They have amazing package deals for specific rooms in your household as well! For example, they have a $999 package including a sectional couch, coffee table, end tables, pillows, throw, and lamps. Perfect amazing deal right?! I couldn't believe it either! I also bought my dining room table set 3 years ago and still love it. Well today was the (that) day,.....unbeknownst to me?! Doesn't make sense, sooo I was out on my first day of furniture shopping and will credit my purshase to my shopping pal Joe and my salesman Justin (who was very nice btw). You know you have a good sales person when they are not pushy, answer your questions, offer a few suggestions and simply allow you to shop and make the decision + have a pleasant personality and add a bit of humor too! Earlier I'd stopped in at another popular furniture place who'd advertised a sale but it wasn't much of one, thats competition for ya... and the sales staff there were not very enthusiastic or seemingly too motivated, so I mosied on my way This was Justin! Good job dude.....but I won't go too deep yet because my order was just placed today so good job on "closing the deal" because I'm a tough sell! Next up will be the setup/delivery...thats a whole different pony! I am not "the" furniture person so to speak, meaning I kinda don't care about it or shopping for it that much but want something reasonbly priced and decent that won't fall apart and look cheap (even though it may be...LOL). I will also note there was another sales guy on the floor when we arrived, he just looked at us and stood there, making no effort to assist or greet us...too bad young bearded one, you may have gotten that sell but oh well......... This by far is the worst organization to get entangled with. Their policy is to not split an order, I ordered a set, however, only a portion of the order came in, "today" and according to their policy they were not going to deliver one portion until the other portion came in (2 months from now, making it a 16-week wait). In the meantime, the portion that came in will be sold out before the remaining furniture came in, and then, according to policy, no delivery would have been made again until they restocked on the initial portion. By the sounds of things and procedures being implemented this is merely a money grab, just hoping that those that have made a purchase would not survive the pandemic long enough to collect on their merchandise. read more

Ordered a bed and loveseat from Ashley Furniture and this review is only for the bed. The package was delivered and instead of being delivered to the address provided the box was thrown into a hallway and the only reason we ever found it or knew about it was because the property manager noticed it and notified us that their was a package with our name on it on the other side of the building. When we got the package, the box looked as though it had been beat up and was ripped and in horrible shape. When we opened the box the headboard is cracked and ripped and the boards aren't even connected. Contacted customer support online and they told us to call a number and called that number (cause they couldn't look up the information online) and was on hold for over half an hour then get told to call another number!! Still no resolution as of current. I was about to update this review and change it to a 2 because Sarah in customer support was super helpful and ordered a new bed right away for us; however, that loveseat we ordered (a month ago) had a deliver window of 1:15-5:15 it's not almost 9:15 and no call notification, nothing. After being in the phone again for 30 minutes waiting got told they're running behind and offered a $75 gift card... pass as I will never shop nor buy from this place again. read more

I will never again shop from this place. My wife and I recently moved in a new house and came to this place for a bedroom suit. We were greeted by about 4 sales people and ended up working with Larenzo. We found the bedroom suit we liked which was very similar to one we wanted from Rooms-To-Go. The suit at Rooms-To-Go was about $500 cheaper and wasn't going to be in stock until 6 weeks later hence we came here so we could get our bedroom situated faster. We bought the majority of our furniture from Room-To-Go and had an excellent experience from start to finish. All throughout the process with Ashley Homestore, Larenzo, was trying to sell us stuff we didn't want, need, or ask for. That's fine, I know the game. The furniture finally arrived on 1/5 and it was damaged. Two of the drawers on the chester drawer won't close properly and it was scratched. I called the store back multiple times trying to get in touch with Larenzo. I finally got in touch with him and he was so eager to pass me off to a random customer service line where I was on hold for twenty minutes, no response. Not an apology for my experience, any effort to help, not even a soft transfer, just dumped off to a random line. I hung up, called the store back and asked to speak to a manager. I still never spoke with a manager, just someone named Keisha who scheduled a technician to come look at my damaged furniture that I paid over $3,000 for. This is something I felt Larenzo, the person I bought the furniture from should've done. The professionalism at this place is awful. They do not stand behind their products. At Rooms-To-Go, our sales professional was there to assist us from start to finish and there was no passing off to other entities. Even during the delivery, there was an issue with some parts and the delivery guy was telling me who I needed to call. There was a $273 delivery charge associated with this purchase, I shouldn't have to call anybody. From start to finish this was a terrible experience. Just piss poor customer service. read more

The one saving grace of this experience was the excellent customer service we received during the purchase. Everything else ends there. We were the last stop on the day of delivery. The men were physically exhausted and in a significant rush to get furniture in the house. Upon arrival I was notified that part of the bed frame had been damaged en route on the truck (not secured??) and would have to be redelivered. The mattress was so forcibly pushed up my stairwell that the walls of my brand new house appear as though they were on the losing end of a bar fight. Smudges, dents and chips everywhere. I have attempted to discuss with Customer Service and continue to get the run around. Additionally the delivery service had no intention of delivering the replacement portion of the frame with any semblance of importance or urgency, given that it was their error. I'd ordered my 2 Natural Round Rugs online, it was quick and easy. My orders came it was timely and pick up was convenient. Joe, one of the managers was totally helpful and friendly. I did go into the store and it was clean and organized, employees were attentive and helpful. My next purchase will be the fluffy feather armless chairs (2) and the corner chair, it's going to look great in my home. The Lithonia location had plenty of parking, easy access in and out the mall. Walked in to check out a few pieces and we were greeted by Collette and told if we needed anything to let her know (That part is normal). Minutes later, we realized that she was following us around the store and standing there looking creepy. My wife asked if something was wrong and she proceeded to say she was supposed to be there if her customers had questions. We have shopped the Lithonia location for over 5 years and never had this experience. It felt like we were being watched so we wouldn't steal anything. I wish I had read the reviews on yelp BEFORE I bought a mattress from this store. My husband and I bought a mattress from this store and it gets delivered fine and all set up. The sales person was nice, the manager was ok . He said delivery was 39.00 but when he put it in the system it was 119.00.The sales lady fixed it for us. They also talked us into a 150.00 mattress protector that we now hate after two days. Also after sleeping on this mattress, I wake up sore on the side I sleep on.My husband reads THIER paperwork that clearly states we have 3 days .Well they refused to honor that I will never purchase ANYTHING from Ashley furniture again. His name is Goerge Steward, I inquired about some of the information on the various payment options. He replied with slick comments and degraded me with questioning my integrity. I have only given a business one star rating once before, and this is sadly my second. The actual store was extremely helpful and I got my furniture for a steal. I have no complaints about the staff at the actual store, or my merchandise, but the delivery service that delivered my furniture. I purchased a couch on Veteran's Day since I am a veteran and I thought I should treat myself to some new furniture after I searched the website online and found a couch and chair for a bargain. I was to get both delivered. The couch that Friday the 13th, and my chair is supposed to arrive on Tomorrow (Wednesday). I have never dealt with more inexperienced unprofessional individuals. They called Friday morning at 10:55am while I was at an appointment to inform me they would be arriving in 45 minutes when they originally were supposed to arrive in the time frame from 1:45-4:45. I had to shuffle the appointment I was at and another appointment I had at 12:00pm, so the furniture could be delivered. I raced home and at around 12:15 there was still no delivery truck. I decide to call the guy and he informs me that he was "just about to call me" (Yea right) and proceeds to tell me that they have had a drill bit break on them and they were on the hardware store to pick up another drill, AND there was still a customer in front of me waiting for their furniture to be delivered and that it's going to take longer than expected. So let me recap, I already had to end one appointment early and then had to cancel my 12:00pm appointment because of this conflict on their part. I moved my 12:00 appointment meeting to 2:00pm because the delivery guy ensured me that it wouldn't be more than two hours. Well 2:25 the delivery service shows up. I am beyond livid but I handled myself in a professional manner. Here is the kicker, you know how a bar tender puts $1 out on his bar in front of him to remind them to tip? Well they had 3, $1 bills on their clipboard, the one I have to sign to ensure they just delivered my items. I went to the room next door and asked my boyfriend, "Are you supposed to tip delivery guys?" He replied with "No, you don't tip the UPS driver, why would you tip them?" So I didn't leave them a tip. To be honest if they had been on time I probably would have actually tipped them $5 because I had read such bad reviews prior on the delivery service and the store employee ensured me they had gotten a lot better but they were still a third party. This is not how you run a business. I lost money that day because of their bad time management. My chair is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I cleared off my whole schedule because these inefficient individuals obviously need the whole day to decide what time to deliver, even though you confirm days prior. I understand accidents happen, but that's not my problem, they should have a back up plan. I am paying for this service and I actually lost income that day because of the meetings being rescheduled. Shame on you ASHLEY Furniture for deciding to stick with this company after it's had so many bad reviews. I plan on taking this to your corporate headquarters. read more

Found our couch much cheaper online. Went to Ashley and they met the price and offered free delivery! Only glitch came when they delivered it...in the wrong color. Come to find out the other color was back ordered so I would have had to wait two weeks for it. Being that we had company coming I accepted the other color. Absolutely the worst!!! They had my dresser scheduled for delivery today. They called 2 days ago to confirm. I called several times to get a window and they said they can't give you that until the morning of delivery. I have waited all day only to be told it was on backorder. The WORST communication I have ever had. They had it yesterday and now today it is on backorder. They blamed it on COVID but COVID or no COVID you don't say your on the schedule with nothing to deliver. Everybody that works there is complete idiots. If I could give this location zero stars, I would. This branch is staffed with two very unprofessional, unaccommodating employees. I had a very negative interaction with two of their management team members. Mr. Hughes and Mr. Carter. We purchased a set of coffee/end tables on clearance. With these purchases, we were originally asked to pick up the tables within three days of purchase. On day one, I went and couldn't fit the furniture in my car. On day two, my fiancé went and was told he had to bring the original receipt (not a scanned mobile copy). On day three, my fiancé went and was told that in addition to the original receipt (which he'd brought), I also had to be present, since my name was on the invoice. This last detail was not previously communicated. At this point, we were very concerned, because we'd reached our three day maximum. We were in fear that the tables would be resold. My fiancé requested a letter with Ashley letterhead to ensure that we'd be able to get them when I could join him. Mr. Hughes laughed at his request. Mr. Carter explained that we had "his word" that the tables would be there. Why would be able to count on his word, when nothing that we'd heard from his team, to this point, had been consistent? I then called the furniture store and spoke with Mr. Carter, first to explain that I'm giving my approval for the furniture to be picked up. Second to report Mr. Hughes' unprofessional behavior. In this conversation, Mr. Carter managed to cut me off and talk over me on multiple occasions. In all, he tried to dismiss the validity of my concern with the strength of "his word." A company that does not take steps to satisfy a customer is a company that does not deserve customers trusting them as a place where you can spend large amounts of money. TBH... My first impression of their customer service was exceedingly poor. I had spent the better part of the day shopping for a bed frame and mattress set, and this was to be my 4th store. Upon entering, I was not greeted, had several employees see me (one particular lady who made eye contact with me several times, and selectively chose to help a couple that walked in after me) and not approach me while I was browsing, and I was ready to walk out. Apparently I don't look like I have enough money. Until I saw a mattress I liked at another store for considerably less. I finally approached an associate with a question, and she quickly connected me with an associate who was friendly and prompt. Because of this, I ended up purchasing a bed frame and mattress set. The real savior of Ashley Home Furniture was their delivery service. The two guys that delivered my furniture were excellent-- friendly, prompt, courteous, and quick assembly. They gave me a window from 8-11 for delivery. I received a call at 740 saying they would arrive in 30-40 mins, and there they were! All while smiling-- and I live in a top floor apartment.
