We placed a large order to be delivered just in time for our house guests to arrive for thanksgiving. The buying experience at this location was positive and the manager was helpful with several changes I made prior to delivery. However the delivery experience was horrible. First, we waited all day for delivery and finally got a call around 6:30pm at night stating that the delivery did not happen because the workers ran out of hours and it was rescheduled for two days out. When the new delivery date came, we got one item in the morning. I called to inquire about the other items in the other order and we were told that they would be delivered sometime that day, but we could not be given a specific time as it was scheduled as an all day delivery. Those items were never delivered. When I called again, I was told that they were never actually scheduled to be delivered and now there was no possibility of getting them before thanksgiving. I talked to both managers at the store and called corporate several times and was never able to get an answer on who dropped the ball on rescheduling our delivery after the initial delivery did not happen due to the workers running out of hours. But since our elderly parents were coming to visit from out of town, we had no choice but to hire movers to go pick the items up at the warehouse ourselves and pay them to put everything together so they had somewhere to sleep in our new home, This cost me around $700 for something that was supposed to be a free/low cost delivery. I asked corporate and the store for some sort of conversation for the immense inconvenience and I was offered $20 which is not sufficient to compensate me for the money and inconvenience their failure in service cost us. I put in one last call to corporate to express how dissatisfied I was and that I would be hesitant to be a repeat customer. I was promised that someone would call me back and follow up however, no one has ever called me back. read more

I visited Stonecrest's Rooms To Go furniture store at about 4:20 PM, Saturday, 11/22/2025. I went to the store to find a recliner I had viewed on its website. There were three salesmen standing near the front of the store. They did not greet me or ask me if I needed any help. They looked straight at me, said nothing, and then turned away. I spent about twenty minutes going through the store looking for the Delaney Point Leather Recliner I saw online. I passed the same three salesmen in the front of the store three times. I purposely made eye contact with them each time. None of them said anything to me. I sat in several recliners and even took pictures of the tags on them. No one in the store asked me if I needed help. I decided I wanted the Colson Avenue Triple Power Recliner. But, because of its poor customer service, I won't be spending my hard-earned money at that store. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident. read more

We bought a bdrm suit. The first set of guys who brought it did great. We noticed damage to it so they ordered replacement pieces. The next two guys came out and knocked a hole in our Sheetrock and drug the pieces across our hardwood floors scratching them. When reported to RTG we were told they will do NOTHING! We have to go after the delivery guys because they hire independent contractors to deliver. I do NOT recommend this place! They do NOT help their customers! read more

By far the worst experience I've had. Package came with a TV that I have yet been able to redeem. I was charged $649 for the TV, that I was told was free, yet cannot get a refund on the TV. When you talk about hindsight, There's lots of it here that I could have gleaned from before my wife and I decided to purchase from this business. We too had already gone to other stores, and everyone was friendly and attentive and by the time we got to R2G we felt like we'd find what we needed. We walked in and Lorenzo greeted us. Very knowledgeable, great enthusiasm, he hit every point in the salesman's hand book. He invited us to look around gave us a bit of info and direction and we were off. After about 20 minutes or so, we came across a couple of items that had been red tagged. Since we're furnishing a rental property, we thought it be a great idea to grab a few of these pieces and get it done. We closed the store on a conversation with the manager and this is where the disdain begins. The question that shifted our intellect was, "When can it be delivered..?" Lorenzo had explained this and my wife had questions, so we sequestered the manager (I forget his name, which is even worse since he wasn't very personable to the last couple in the showroom) we were told we couldn't have it delivered until Weds because the "DESIGNERS" don't want to have holes in the floor. My wife's response, There's plenty of furniture that can be moved into THOS space to fill it up, and the manager chuckled a bit under his breath and says, "The designers don't like that" (it's Friday) and my wife's words, that's not sales driven, or even customer friendly, didn't seem to land as the two guys both looked stupefied. Lorenzo tells us they work with a guy who delivers for them on a regular basis and he can bring the furniture to us. We pay say good night and now it's Weds 3:40 pm. We have not seen any furniture. ZERO STARS Do not buy furniture from here. They don't honor the manufacturer warrinty at all. My bed fell apart and now is being held together by wood the mattress ripped in side from the inside and they wanted to try and say we ripped it and then the footboard to my bed is all discolored clearly manufacture defect and they won't replace. Yeah..., This review is mainly for the actual product itself, which I ordered from this store. I ordered a dining table and four chairs, two chairs are wobbly and one has a stain on it! Also, the bottom of the table still has white fabric straps still staple gunned in. The delivery people didn't bother to remove them and just snipped them off. One of them is still dangling. The one star I am leaving is for the sales associates that interacted with me. They were helpful and charming, though the products I received simply do not match even baseline expectations. I am just shocked that a company would be satisfied to leave a paying customer with defective furniture. I hope this gets resolved, but I would never recommend Rooms To Go based off of my own experience. read more

This review is for the purpose of shedding a little insight into Rooms to Go. As an employee, I'd like to apologize for the bad experiences listed here. Bad customer service is never acceptable. Having said that, I feel good communication between the sales associate and the customer could minimize or eliminate a lot of the common problems that I see. Delivery time frames: One thing I tell my customers is that our deliveries may well not be the most convenient process. As hard as the delivery team tries, things happen beyond their control. They can have as many as 20 stops in a day, easily. So if one or two folks, for whatever reason, miss their delivery, that automatically will put the delivery team early to later deliveries. If the delivery team has a challenging delivery that needs extra time, or if they hit traffic, etc. that will make them late to deliveries later in the day. So with this knowledge in advance, you the customer can make the decision if you want to proceed with the purchase. Not being greeted upon entry to the store or not being acknowledged while in the store: 100% commissioned sales associates walk a fine line. I know when I shop, I don't like to be attacked as I walk into the show room, nor do I like to have questions unanswered when I do have them. So on the other side of the situation, we don't want to pester you, but we do want to help. Bottom line: no process is perfect but the ultimate goal is to provide a pleasant shopping experience. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I gave RTG a chance because they were local at the time. The whole experience was bad. First I select a bed and was not informed it was on back order until I came in to make the payment, I was told I had to make full payment in order for the company to possibly send it out early, and the manager Cody informed he would give me back my money same day if they couldn't. Didn't happen, I chose another bed but the manager ordered the wrong mattress, and on top of that I was informed I had to assemble it myself. I was done at that point and sent the merchandise back. I spent almost 30K to furnish my entire house! Have had a problem with my wife's dresser, 2 of the draw slides broke, I have the extended warranty. The one year warranty up by one day and I had two go through the extended warranty, they were great, rooms to go jerked me off for three months. The warranty co sent me an email saying they were recommending replacing the dresser, and again room to go is he king me off sending draw slides which I will have to install or wait till they decide who it!!! My very first big furniture experience and it was met with a BIG lesson. Never trust the quality of R2G. Selection was so-so, the price was okay, and the staff was alright, but after a year... the furniture looked simply AWFUL. Structurally the whole thing began to crumble, and the upholstery just didn't hold up. I was very dissatisfied, but after a year, I didn't think anyone would care. Let me just say... my husband and i do not have kids, just two cats and we have a dinner party MAYBE once every quarter, so there is no reason for these couches to look so shabby. Sadly, the lesson was learned. I was told by a friend who spent the extra money on the Cindy Crawford Collection that they had a similar experience, only the entire side of the couch literally fell off. an associate took my SSN and opened a rooms to go credit card when i started a application but stopped midway because i changed my mind about purchasing. I asked him if he was going to cancel the application and he told me yes. I didn't sign anything so how does a credit card just open up in my name? credit karma notified me of the account and when i called the store the associate that helped me was "clueless" as to how it happened. luckily the bank that deals with rooms to go closed the account and had it taken off my credit but my credit score still took a hit just by that associate doing that. read more

I would give a 0 to this store, store manager Sunny and the office staff Barbara who is the only office staff that I have work with, regarding my transactions cancel my recliner sofa order without my permission. Today, I was at the outlet store in Forrest Park in there to pay my monthly bill. The office manager stated I had to pay at one of the main stores or pay online which was okay with me. I asked her to check the status of my order for my power recliner sofa and see if they had it at their outlet aswell. The office manager stated the manager Sunny canceled my order for my power recliner that I put on my RTG credit card and with a visa payment as well. Also, I could see the customer as well. I stated to the office manager I never canceled my sofa power recliner order, I was expecting my sofa to be delivered on October 10, because it was on back order per my salesperson, Mary. I also purchased the matching recliner chair from the Northcross outlet, which was delivered to my home last Saturday. I stated. I'm not sure why my order was canceled without my permission. She advised me to call the store. I called the Stonecrest location and spoke with office staff Barbara and store manager Sunny, which they were not honest and stated I came in the store and cancel my order for my recliner. I asked where were my paperwork and my signature for my visa transaction, she stated they email it to me. I stated I came into the store to make a payment, it was for a $100.00 for my rocking chair recliner which the outlet office staff stated a payment could have been made at any RTG store. I'm not sure where they got this information that I cancel this order. I was paying on my rocking chair to go with this set and contact the outlet about my delivery for the rocking chair. Barbara kept putting me on hold and also stated all the manager was on the floor and hung up in my face after I stated it must be a race thing because I didn't cancel this order. The manager never apologies, he was somewhat nasty with his answers. I see why his team are nasty to RTG customers because Room To Go management team is unprofessional to customers as well. Best customer services start at the top with leadership staff, they need to set an example. I travel to the store to see what happen and get my paperwork for this transaction Sunny canceled without my permission. I spoke with Sunny not much was stated from him, misunderstanding. I requested my paperwork and made a payment for my credit card. I asked Barbara for the district manager name, she refused to give it and started to call the corp office for the district manager name. Which was a lied, I question her and stated I have shopped here many times and they have district managers for all stores. She stated to asked Sunny then she stated I will not argue with you. I never argue with her nor curse just asked questions and professional at all times. She left the counter and returned with the name of Ron Smith. I asked to speak with him, she stated they were on the floor, which was false because everyone was sitting up in the front when I enter and left the store. Again poor customer services from Babara! I did speak with my salesperson Mary on my way out, stated, I never cancel my order and not sure why Sunny cancel. I stated I would give her a 5 on a review because she was always professional and tried to help me. Total cost for this transaction would have been $ 1,378.79 for my power recliner, which would have been a decent commission for Mary. I looked around a bit and had a question about a couch. 4 salespeople were in front, sitting on a sectional and on their smartphones. We stood in front of them a few seconds and then said "excuse me" The female finished typing on her phone then addressed us. We asked our question and left. So my husband and I go in to complete the sale of our purchase. we bought the Theater reclining seats, coffee table, end table lamp, 51" TV & console. Well the lady swipes my card to take the down payment. Ok fine, only to inform me that 3 pieces won't be available until 11/9!!! My wife and I went into this location and, despite the initial salesman's lack of enthusiasm, we immediately found a great floor model LR set. We, of course, looked around at other places to see if there was a better deal/better selection and my wife ended up back at R2G. She called me RAVING about the service she received from Wanzo! She even received a handwritten thank you card in the mail a few days later. Where do you get that kind of customer service anymore? Also, he ended up throwing in about $100 worth of pillows in for free. I am aware that R2G has bad reviews as it pertains to quality, but we're not expecting the moon. this will be in a room where there will be infrequent "butt time" and at the price we paid, replacing it won't be a gigantic burden. read more

Where to start? It could be that my order was written up wrong to the tune of $900- only to be discussed when they were delivering my furniture 8 days later. Their solution... "Pay another $900 (full retail price to cover their mistake) and we'll make it right... In 8 days when we can deliver the necessary items to complete the base of your bed." I declined that fantastic offer, under the circumstance they could deliver a different item as soon as possible... Bad news- not an option. Another 8 days to get a downgraded solution at retail price. In the meantime I found a better alternative from their competitor so I asked that one piece be picked back up. They did, but they never offered my $900 back from my down payment. Instead, they assumed I would prefer to take it off the financing instead of the $1,500 I put down. If it's a $900 item, wouldn't you ask first? Dewayne, though a nice guy, didn't think my $900 was important enough to warrant a conversation. I disagreed, and three weeks later I still haven't see the credit on my account. Let's recap... You write an order incorrectly, and offer me full retail additional charge of $900 as your solution. But I have to wait 8 days for that. Or you can downgrade to a different option... And wait 8 days for that... And that return you needed, we'll credit that back to your store financing so that you can spend more business with us- since your first experience was so pleasant. Eventually... Maybe... My last question to Dewayne (a heck of a nice guy who is a store manager) was this: "Does it strike you as odd that after our DOZENS of conversations that you have NEVER called me and had a solution for my problem? I've given you every opportunity to earn my business, and you've never done so." Bottom line- avoid this place like the plague. If this were the standard of furniture business, no one would be in business. Go elsewhere. read more

I was overall satisfied with my experience with rooms to go. Of course most sales people are pushy and make exaggerations , so I expected that. The sectional I chose is beautiful, I'm in love with the indigo color and the sectional itself is comfortable and really good quality. When it was delivered, I had a 4 hour time frame and they came within 2 hours of that. Unfortunately, my armless love seat and 2 accent pillows were missing. I called cs and they were friendly and made sure it was handled immediately. It took 9 days and the missing pieces were delivered. They called me during those days to confirm with me and again to Apologize for the mishap. So it's here now, I love it and so glad I'm done furniture shopping (for now). read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. The staff members in this location can be friendly, but they are not the ones you have to deal with to get your furniture.They give a four hour window for delivery. Over 10 hours later on the scheduled date, my sofas finally arrive. Weeks later, my dining room table arrives and the delivery guys supposedly don't have the correct tools to put it together. The screws were overnighted and ended up being the exact screws that they brought with them, they were trying to put the base on upside down. I was told that someone would come back out the day we got the screws, but of course that did not happen. My husband and I put the table together ourselves because we work for a living. No one should have to keep taking off work for this nonsense. We went back to the store to complain (because customer service just hangs up on you or places you on hold) but all they could to was give us the corporate number to call. And all they do is transfer you to customer service and make sure someone answers the phone. I was finally able to speak with a supervisor today, and she tells me that it's my fault that we didn't allow them to come back out on a different day for set up. She spent the entire call arguing with me, and didn't listen to a word I said. Please save your time and frustration. read more

This store has THE MOST piss-poor customer service EVER! My family and I recently moved and were in search of furniture. Of course we were just browsing for ideas, but had the ability to purchase if anything intrigued us. We walked the entire floor of the store TWICE! TWICE! And not ONCE were we approached, until we were about to head out, by a manager near the restrooms. We could've said something to him, but everyone was tire from a long day and unwilling to squander anymore time in the store, albeit to inform said manager that his staff's customer service skills were lackluster at absolute best. The prices were HIGH, as expected, but we came, once again, for ideas and to possibly finance. However, with the service received, I wouldn't bother purchasing from here. We walked past numerous GROUPS of employees and even stared a few down. Think they greeted us or even bothered to find out our needs? You guessed it...NOPE! However, they had no problem assisting another family with their needs. Not pulling the racist card, but I AM pointing out that this is one of the reasons why people pull the card often. Thankfully I'm able to differentiate that this was just pure bad service and employees to engrossed in the own lives to do what they came to work to do. That was during our 30 minutes in the store. Your showrooms look great and your sales people are very nice. But, that is where the good meets the bad and ugly. In my opinion, RTG customer service and delivery is horrible once the purchase is made. I paid by credit card on August 26, 2017 and was given a delivery date on the day of delivery received a call that the "truck was down and delivery was not going to happen. Received another call that the truck was back up and running I can expect delivery about 5pm but was not made. Called the store at 8 am to find out when I can expect my delivery the rep stated she would call me back but never received a call back. I'm so disappointed with RTG. Afterwards, I read the RTG reviews by other customers. No way, no how will I consider a future purchase from RTG. I spoke to a gentlemen early that day at the delivery site named Josh that was extremely rude. Basically told me he has heard enough from me. I don't see this getting any better from this point. read more

We decided to furnish our new home with items from Rooms To Go. At the time (July 2019) they had a great sale with a financing promotion. We took the bait and purchased furniture for the majority of our home. The initial delivery should have been an indication of what was to come. (1)All of the scheduled furniture did not arrive (2) platform bed was damaged by the delivery personnel, which had to be replaced and when the sectional was finally delivered- it was not connected correctly; it kept coming apart- which leads us to this review. November 2019 an attempted repair was made, March 2020 another technician came out, June 2020 (due to Covid19 the repair has to be placed on hold), another technician came out and I was told the brackets were broken, they'd need to be ordered and replaced. It turns out this person closed to work order as 'repaired' and never ordered/informed additional work is needed. (I found this info out after calling for a status update three weeks later.) August 2020 another in-home repair was attempted-after this didn't resolve the issue, we were told they (Rooms To Go) would replace the sectional with a new one. You would think this would be the end of our problems- but not! At the first delivery (October 2020) of the new sectional, the middle piece was missing-so it was sent back. Now, we had to wait until today (December 2020) to receive the second delivery. We confirmed the appointment would be today between the hours of 8-12pm. Guess who gets a call at 6:35am this morning...They sent a text at 5:55am advising they are in transit. We were bewildered but accepted the delivery because we wanted a sectional that does not lean. The delivery arrives BUT there is no work order for them to remove the broken sectional (WTF) and now they do not have enough room to properly install the replacement. Now, we have a leaning sectional and a non-connected sectional (three separate pieces) all sitting in the living area of our home. I now have to physically go to the store to try to straighten this situation out, (THE SAGA CONTINUES). I am so disgusted with this company. I will not recommend this furniture company or location to anyone. I say this location because the deliveries are scheduled through the store! read more
