Do not purchase from here. What a nightmare. I bought a platform storage bed and chest. (By old bed needed TLC so it went to someone who could fix it.) I told them that I'm literally on my mattress on the floor. Delivery time- 3 weeks! Fast forward 3 weeks later.. delivery day. They sent me a standard bed. I don't have a box spring. This was the headliner of my conversation with the sales consultant! They also sent me a dresser! So I sent them back. The delivery team was super nice. Got customer care in the phone, etc. I called the store and told them. She said someone would be calling me in the next 24 hrs. 2 days later, I received a text and call that my furniture is schedule to be delivered the next week. No one actually called me. But I let it go figuring they just fixed it all will be good. Fast forward to next week. They sent me the footboard with storage, but the set up was still for a standard bed. SO... they can't put it together. I told them to take it back. He (different delivery team) said "all of it?" I said, what should I do with it? Seriously.. I called customer care.. the team packed it up and walked out the door like I did something wrong! "Customer care" told me that I need to go to the store that I bought the furniture in to fix this issue. I told her that makes zero sense but I'll go. They are just going to tell me to call her back.. and that I'd talk to her in a couple of hrs. I went into the store and asked for a manager. There was a man sitting at a table who said "well, I'm the sales manager." So I told him what has happened. His reply after he shrugged his shoulders was "I'm not sure what we can do for you. This is a delivery issue." He went away for a few minutes telling me he was going to look into something. He came back and said, "we entered it in right." I told him there is a disconnect somewhere and I just need it fixed. He said he doesn't know what to do. I asked if there was someone at the warehouse he could call. He said he didn't know anyone. I asked him what I should do. Should I just cancel the order and go somewhere else? Got the shoulder shrug again and he said "it's up to you." I told him that I didn't want that. That my loyalty is to them, I just wanted the same from them. He told me again, that he can't guarantee me that I will get the right furniture and that I need to call customer care. I finally got frustrated and just canceled the order. He said, sorry it didn't work out. Geeeeezz!! He told me that he canceled the order and requested a refund for my down payment. This was Thursday. Yesterday (Sunday) I get a call/text that my delivery is scheduled for next week. Seriously?????? I called customer service and was told my order was never canceled. She apparently canceled and requested a refund. She said she sent me an email with confirmation. Guess what?? NO EMAIL!!! What a mess!!! Don't do business here! Save yourself. read more

I have no words for how this local Ashley Furniture is run This is for the Murfreesboro, TN location. The sales person was ok since they are making commission from you. They will bend over backward for you until they get you to sign the dotted line. I expected my items to be delivered today but that didn't really happen. Will let me explain. I ordered 4 items (head board, foot board, accent console table, and 2 accent chairs. I expected it for delivered today. Upon greeting the driver at the door he advised me he has a head board and foot board to be delivered. I asked if that was it? He said yes, and he showed me the work order and my accent console and 2 accent chairs was on back ordered. He laughed and said, didn't the store call you and let you know. I cant be mad at the driver because he doesn't work for the store. Upon calling the store and I got the Customer Service Manager? I couldn't believed that Manager takes calls? I asked her about the order and what happen? She said that the items is being deliver directly to me VIA UPS in 2 weeks after purchased. I told her that was not the agreement was made with the sales person. The sales person agreed that the item was to be delivered today and not getting the items ship from some wear house. She proceed to say that I agree upon purchased that they may not be able to make the delivery if item is not in stock. At this point I did started speaking loudly but no bad language of any kind because I was a mad customer. I asked her to give me some sort of tracking since I was lied to about the first time. She keeps repeating herself about the items should get delivered in 1 week. I asked again to give me something in writing and was greeted with a respond with, it should be emailed to me. We all no this doesn't happen when someone said they will call back or send an email. I asked her how do I return the items that was not deilvered. She proceeded to tell me about 10% restocking fees. I told her how do you charge someone 10% stocking fees when I haven't taken procession of the items. At this time she said I was rude and was going to transfer me to Customer Service team. I said I am speaking loudly yes, but in no way using any languages that is considered rude. I was then transfer and cut off. I was transfer to a Call Center about delivery and again got no where because it was a delivery call center for Ashley Furniture and they do not do anything customer service. Call the store back and guess who I got, yup the same lady. I believed at this point that the store must be doing poorly to have management answering phone calls. She said I was rude. I asked her if I was rude to her then please give me someone else. She then transfer me again to the same place. I called back again and got her on my third call. At this point I wanted someone else and she said she was it. She repeated herself how rude I was and I need to talked to her like an adult. I was upset yes but in no way talked bad to her or about her. I told her that she needs to let customer talk and vent about how bad their service is and not keep getting cut off by a manager who things she is always right. I personally thing that is number one in customer service is to listen and see what the problem is. I told her I didn't want to talk to her either. Just give me someone other then her. Don't you have another manager, president, the owner? I just gave up and told her that I will go to the store tomorrow morning. Long story short: Being in a business, if you set expectation for customers, they will appreciate your business more. When a customer buys your items, they expect honesty and not lies. If you are going to ship something and not deliver it, you tell them. If you tell them it will be delivered at this date, then it should be. Give the customer a call and tell them that is out of stock before the delivery date and not the delivery driver. So is the item out of stock and back order or is it being delivered? whose lying? the Driver or the manager? I trust the driver more. Today is 09/12/2019 and was promised 2 weeks after purchased by the manager. Item purchased on 09/02/19. 2 weeks will be this Monday the 16. I doubt I will get anything delivered. I hope the UPS guy has help. The accent table looks to weight in at around 180-200 lbs. I will see what happen at the store tomorrow. read more

I think one star is very generous for my experience here. We ordered about 10000 $$ worth of furniture back in July when we first purchased our home. Some came in SIX WEEKS later, but unfortunately some pieces were the wrong furniture! After going to the store, calling corporate 5 times, and the store as well, over a week after the mistake, I got a new delivery date of the correct furniture... to be delivered in another MONTH AND A HALF!!! We're talking 4 months for a couch! How does that ever happen. Unfortunately I accepted some of the furniture the first time it was delivered, but I'm not waiting for the other piece so now I have a couch that I won't be able to find another match to. After many more calls and calls, they agreed to send a delivery driver and refund me for this couch. Currently it's 1230 at night, they quoted me a pickup from 5-8, called to tell me they would be 30 minutes late. Then called me again to tell me they wouldn't be here til 1130!!! And still no show currently. And it seems like it's gonna be a battle to actually get money back based on other reviews on here. DONT BUY FROM THIS STORE!! read more

Sadly, I signed for the delivery before I actually had a moment to look at my items. After dealing with their customer service representatives for over a week, I finally was scheduled a new date for a replacement set. They have now rescheduled my date for an additional two weeks, leaving my with the damaged dining room set for over a month. Please run as far away from this company! They do not care about the qualify of their furniture nor do they care about their customers. To update my story regarding Ashley Furniture. I have now been rescheduled for my new table 3 times. This store agreed to cancel an order we placed on 10/29. We called them on 10/30 to ask if the order could be cancelled and they said yes it would take 5 to 7 days to refund our card. Yesterday 11/11 I received a text reminder for delivery. Called the number in the text to cancel and they said they would notify the store. Called the number listed for the store on the google maps page. That number is actually for the corporate call center. They were not helpful at all! All they do is route you in a circle. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever dealt with. Someone from this store needs to contact me immediately. read more

So, they post these messages under your complaint to appear to gaf; however, when you contact them to "look into your problem", all they did was reschedule me again! I have been rescheduled 3 times now, and I have told them all 3 times Saturday is the only possible day. They keep trying to move me to a weekday. NOBODY has done a thing to make me happy, or even acted like they care about losing a customer. We went through Easter with damaged furniture, and now it looks like we will have the same problem for my daughter's graduation party. Loved the shopping experience. Picked a beautiful bedroom suite and handled payment. All was beautiful or so I thought. Over three weeks later, I STILL AM WAITING DELIVERY! Rescheduled twice - first time, excuse was they were overbooked; second time, they called wrongly transcribed cell phone number & couldn't get me and cancelled it!!! - furniture was supposed to come today, they called the wrong number that I have corrected thrice over AGAIN, never knocked on my door, and left. I called the call center AGAIN and get the story. Now they tell me they have to reschedule again! Unprofessional & RIDICULOUS! Update 1 - 05/30/17: I sent the Corporate person who contacted me my information & the entire summary. No official response. I spoke to 2 different people - McKinley and Pam - at their delivery scheduling number yesterday & was promised to be called by TODAY with a guaranteed date of delivery. McKinley flat-out promised me that she could get me an after 4 pm delivery guarantee. No call. I am beyond livid now. I am going to try to get my money back. INEXCUSABLE! Update 2 - 05/30/17: Called the delivery scheduler number. Spoke to a person named Natalie who refused to put me in touch with the supervisor, despite my request to talk to the supervisor. She informed me that McKinley wasn't giving me accurate information - despite flat-out telling me that she could get me afternoon delivery, she merely put a ticket "request" in for it, which was "denied". Pam, the second caller, just notated on my acct. I was then told that the supervisor couldn't help me any more than she could & if I couldn't do Thursday or Friday, this Saturday was booked up. Pissed off, I said I was NOT going to wait another two weeks & hung up. Called the store again only to find out the manager that told me to give her til today wasn't working today. Ashley, the rep who spoke to me tried to call the manager to no avail. She found that they STILL had my contact info all wrong and corrected it - no wonder I never got phone calls from the delivery guys directly. She tried to offer third-party delivery option - a person to go to the warehouse, pick the stuff up, & then deliver and set up whenever I negotiate with him. But of course, out of my own pocket!! I find this to be the ultimate blow. It isn't enough how much I have spent on the ruddy furniture, I now have to foot a "private" delivery fee??? Where is your customer service, Ashley Furniture??!!! I declined & said I have had enough. I want every penny of my money back & sorry to trouble her. Now to wait & hear from the store manager about getting my refund! Update #3 - Never got the call from the female manager I was waiting on 05/31/17. Called the store at work on the 31st, was told manager at the time was busy & would call back. He didn't. So I physically went to the store & apparently four cars in the parking lot makes for a busy manager when he's got at least two other sales reps working. All good. I told him again the story & reiterated that I want out of the deal. Period. He tried to save the sale one last time, but I said I had had enough. He got info from me & said he would process it & have it ready for the female manager to sign off on it in the AM. I left the store. On 06/01/17, I got a call from Karey F. from their Corporate office. We went over everything, she was courteous & still tried to save the sale. But I again said I had had enough. She assured me a FULL refund & that she would handle it. No problem, right? Wrong!!! It is 06/09/17 today. I have YET to be refunded a penny! It is still not resolved. I phoned Karey F. back and left a message to this effect. I am now starting to look into lawyers. I am so fed up with this establishment. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! You will do nothing but sob!!! Update #4 06/09/17 - Went to the store after work & spoke to desk clerk Jamila, who admitted she remembered my situation. She stated Sherry was gone for the day & would not be back until Monday. She tried to look for any paperwork on Sherry's desk related to my case. Unable to find anything relevant, she got her manager at the time Terry to talk to me. Terry provided me with paper copies showing the order was cancelled on 31st of May & indication that I was getting refunded, but no indication as to when. He had Jamila leave a message for Sherry to call me on Monday to advise me when I would get refunded. Update #5 - 06/14/17 - NO returned calls from Sherry or Karey F. I called Karey F. Went directly to voicemail. I left a message that I still hadn't gotten refunded despite all her promises. I said I would contact the BBB and file a fraud claim with my bank now as a result. I called the store & got to speak with Sherry. She tells me nonchalantly that the refund was processed YESTERDAY! I told her I hope I do get it and hung up. Still going to BBB. This is beyond all limits. NO BUSINESS should be permitted to get away with this disgusting behaviour! read more

I originally went in for a couch and love seat. I got the floor model loaded up and took it home. The salesman told me they could deliver the couch the following day, it never came. I tried to call the dispatcher to see if it was on the truck and got no answer. I went back into the store to find out that not only did the salesman put into the computer 2 love seats , but it was NOT available for 10-12 weeks. After the Acceptance Now finance company with their harassment for payment ( which is taken directly out of my account) and the lack of professional that these people have / do not have, I have cancelled my order. The manager never even asked why or how they could make it right. I guess when your used to failure, it's not a big deal. I encourage everyone to shop somewhere else read more

The delivery guy called to report it, while still in our home, admitting the damage occurred while they were carrying the piece up the stairs. We have made several calls to customer service, sent emails with pictures of the damage, and we still have no resolution. We bought the warranty for protection, and this has also been of no use. The sales person was great, they were happy for me to spend over $1,100 on furniture however their delivery window is not good. I can not take off half a day to sit there and wait for them. I can request for a later delivery but they can not promise that they can do it. So now we have to figure out how to get it picked up and lugged into the house our selves. Maybe we need to just cancel our order and take the hit on restocking fee, its the same as the cost for us to pick it up. Never again read more

It's been 2 months of going back and forth trying to get my damaged sectional and stolen property replaced and every time I talk to someone the have no "notation on my account " for the problems I've called about. I feel like they just couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. #1 furniture store for sales but after the sale is made, yo u're on your own buddy!! The fact that I haven't received any phone calls or emails back after my numerous attempts to get this resolved is infuriating. Oh what a long history we've had with the Murfreesboro Ashley Homestore. I believe in second chances, so when we needed to go shopping for a new mattress, my wife wanted to look here and I obliged. Once again, the experience in the store was fantastic. This time we were helped by Lee. He seemed very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. We wound up purchasing a Tempurpedic set and arranged for delivery on 10/21. There was roughly a two and a half week lead time, but we knew that up front, so no biggie. One thing that did come to light after our purchase was that Lee either was a little off on the warranty info or pulled a fast one on us. We were told that in order for Tempurpedic to honor their warranty, they require you to purchase a mattress pad. They conveniently sell mattress pads at $99 a pop. First off, we bought a Tempur Breeze, and the mattress pad completely negates the cooling feature of the mattress material. Secondly, after reviewing the text of Tempurpedic's warranty on their mattresses, I found that there is no such requirement. We were told to expect a call the day before delivery to confirm the window that the crew would be there. Since Ashley does not do tear down or haul away, we needed to take down our existing bed and get it out of the way the day before. One night of sleeping on the couch wouldn't be too bad, or so we thought. Thursday evening rolled around and we had no confirmation call. First thing Friday morning, I called the Guest Response Team to confirm delivery and the lady on the other end replied "Oh, no one contacted you? Your bed isn't going to be delivered until next Tuesday." Needless to say, given our past experience with Ashley, the fecal material collided with the oscillating air circulation device. I didn't have an issue with the delay, but the total lack of communication was absolutely infuriating. I was told that they would see what they could do and would call me back. After a few hours had passed, I called to see if there was any update. I was told that they were getting our items trucked in overnight and that we would have the next day. I don't know what strings they had to pull, but this time they came through. Our new mattress was delivered and set up the next day. The delivery crew (Carlos and Allen) were superb and were in and out in no time. Although the experience was a bit rocky, they came through this time on the first try and we were well taken care of. I don't feel nearly as hesitant to do business with them again at this point. read more

Dear Ashley Furniture, I just wanted to let you know that after doing some research into your customer service and dealing with you I decided not to buy the table and buffet from you but from FMO. Not only were the prices more reasonable but there was no hard sell and the prices quoted were good for seven days without any type of payment and the approval was not an issue. Along with the 12 months same as cash and letting me look through books for things which I wanted as I have looked online, in most of the stores in Murfreesboro, FMO will not only have my business but my personal recommendation for others whom are in need of furniture. That you required and took twenty dollars for doing nothing except holding a price for three days is an example of how desperate your company and your sales people are. I have visited your store three times in the last twelve years. I will not do so again to buy anything. And should anyone whom I might encounter ask me about your store I will tell them the story of how you turned us down for credit, then you had my husband return to fill out another application and then wanted twenty dollars to hold the price for three days which meant I had to drive back to your store to give you the money while my casserole was in the oven. As I could of put the purchase on my discover card but after consideration and speaking to others in the Murfreesboro Area decided it would be in my families best interest to go else where. After browsing the Murfreesboro, TN Ashley Furniture store on N. Thompson Lane for approximately 30 minutes without being acknowledged, a sales rep named Terry whom my husband and I later found to be the manager, finally stopped and said hello. I mentioned we were moving next week and were in the market to outfit an entire house. The manager seemed eager to help us, but said he was going to get Lisa, his "best salesperson". He assured us we would be in good hands. Of course, we thanked him and waited to meet her. At this point, there were two full living room sets we were strongly considering; the only aspect we were torn between was color. Lisa came over, greeted us, and followed us to our second sofa of choice. My husband and I were weighing our options when we turned around to find Lisa had just walked away without saying anything. Instead of being available to answer our many questions, she was across the showroom, joking with a coworker. It became clear to my husband and I that no one cared about us or our business, so we turned to leave... again, without anyone acknowledging us. Even Lisa. Or the manager. So, what's my point? Well, this is mostly a note of thanks. With most furniture stores having after Christmas sales and specials, Ashley's preoccupied, casual sales staff made our decision to shop at Haverty's that much easier. It's obvious that Ashley Home Store doesn't care about making things right even when their own employees broke policy. They lied to our faces and told us we could return the mattress within 90 days with no questions but however there is a restocking fee and the "exchange" has to be of equal and greater value... none of which was mentioned to us at all.... we would have never purchased the mattress if we couldn't return it. What a sad state of affairs when customer service is just a facade for the shady "deals" they claim they can do and then it's against "policy" to rectify an issue. So bought this beautiful dining room table from Ashley Furniture. After just a few months Bubbles have started to appear in the surface. I called to use my warranty and was told that they will not cover it. "It looks like water damage from like a glass being left on the table or something" I was told... WHAT?!?!? So you sold me a dining room table that I can not set a glass of water on?? What do you do at your dining room table?? It a DINING ROOM TABLE, you eat and drink at it!! Stuff is going to spill, glasses are going to get set, why in the world would anyone market and sell a dining room table that you can not dine at?? SO SO MAD RIGHT NOW!!! Terrible customer service when trying to explain and manage three to six month wait times with flippant, underqualified humans. They don't just have a supply chain issue, they have massive communication issues. They'll keep blaming it on COVID, they'll claim that "all retailers are going through this", and they'll keep giving you dates that don't come to fruition. Never in my life have I experienced such horrible and unhelpful customer service...the whole corporation (or possibly franchise since the main guest response center takes zero accountability for any issues) The sales people at the store are kind and helpful and did make an effort to work with us, but that is where the service stops. 1. Purchased a couch-delivery got delayed 3 weeks due to a "warehouse delay"-customer outreach deferred me back to the store itself stating "because it was a warehouse issue, we cannot take any responsibility" odd considering Ashley. Makes. Their. Own. Inventory. But somehow that's not their problem...store did refund the delivery fee...3.5 weeks later after insisting to me that the refund did go through. 2. Decided to give them another chance and ordered an oversized chair, after scheduling the delivery at the desk, we received no call, when I finally called customer outreach...they stated the delivery had never been scheduled...arranged for Friday, was told that I could not pick the time so... 3. The day before delivery, I had to change the delivery date because we got called into work, they could not reschedule because the delivery was "locked in manifest" (huh?) but put a note to take the order out of manifest-guess what, I got called at work today stating the delivery drivers were at my apartment and could only wait 15 minutes. Clearly whoever was in charge of cancelling the delivery just didn't do it. Now having to wait till tomorrow to reschedule. Never shopping with Ashley at any location ever again. First of all if there was an option for zero stars I would select it. I'm very disappointed in this company. I bought a 7,000 dollar bedroom pieces and paid for the workers to put it all together... well they get to my house 4 months ago and unload the stuff and they find out they don't have the right "hardware" to install my bed frame.. so they tell me to call the store to get them to mail me the parts. Once the parts were delivered I called and they said they would come out in 3 weeks.. 3 WEEKS. Ashley furniture told me if they put it in and I don't like it I can return it.. we'll I never got to see how it looked and I've been paying for it monthly. The people said they would be here in 3 weeks well the day they were supposed to come they canceled. CANCELED. Today the worker is supposed to come up and put it together...finally. Well when he got here.. yes one person was sent to put this heavy shit together says "I'm not sure this is going to fit in your adjustable bed." LOL WTF. When the lady that sold this to us she said we shouldn't have a problem. Well If this doesn't fit they're going to have a problem. I want my money back and my money I spent on these people to put this shit together. Absolute bullshit I will never buy anything from y'all again. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a furniture store. We ordered a bedroom set, entertainment center, couch and love seat. Every time we get near the delivery date we receive a text that its being delayed another 2-3 weeks. We have been waiting over 3 months for our furniture. The entertainment system was finally delivered but it was missing pieces so it couldn't be put together. We have called customer service and have been disconnected several times after waiting 30 minutes. We bought a new home and have no bed to sleep on or furniture to sit on. This is the worse furniture store ever! Bought a table and 8 chairs in early August, 2019. Table and chairs were heavily damaged plus the table was sloped on one end....you could not eat on it. After a hundred phone calls and no result plus they picked up and delivered 2 to 3 sets of the same furniture with the same results. We filed a dispute against Ashley and won yet it is still on my account. We are trying to get them to credit my account so we can go elsewhere to buy a table and chairs. It is almost January and it is not settled. You can't speak to anyone at the store. They give you a number to call, and these people are rude and do nothing to help. I have never gone out of my way to post a bad review, but I will be posting on every avenue I can. It's very frustrating when you are trying to talk to someone at the store, or even at the corporate level, to remedy an issue with damaged furniture when it was delivered or furniture that doesn't fit in the home. The store claimed they cannot take care of that issue directly and gave us a number to call. We have called the numbers they gave us 3-4 times in two days and that 1-800 number they keep giving us says that they do not take care of any of those issues. So who takes care of these issues? Apparently no one. We have spent thousands of dollars and planned on spending more money, but never again. I highly discourage any business with them, regardless of which store location. I will continue to give them a bad rating and tell all of my family, friends and colleagues about this horrible experience that I have NEVER experienced before. I will do this indefinitely. Worst experience ever. In the store, before they get your money, they are really nice. Ask them for anything else (like the hardware that wasn't delivered with your furniture) and its like talking to a wall. We bought $1500 in furniture on the 20th of October. When delivered, an entire book shelf was missing. The hardware for the shelf we did get was also missing. Promises were made to deliver the missing items the following week. A week goes by, a shelf - complete with hardware - is delivered. But no hardware for the previously delivered item. We figured a trip to the store would garner the required attention. Nope. Apparently the people in the store could care less that you drove 20 minutes to obtain an item you've paid them to deliver to your home. We were told to call the customer service line. We did that and more promises were made. Specifically that the hardware would be mailed to us. Here I am, three weeks later, starting at a plastic shipping envelope with /exactly one/ shelf peg in it. I find this down right insulting. If I can order a $5 item on Amazon and have it in my mailbox in 2 days. For 'free'. Then why can't Ashley Furniture deliver a $1500 order in a month? Go somewhere else! Ordered furniture in March was told 2 weeks to deliver after calling to find out where my furniture was I was told another 6 weeks. Finally called to scheduled a date and was told they would call me back with a time and they didn't. Call today and what to do you know they want to deliver when I won't be home and to top it off to reschedule it will be another week. Worst customer a service ever. read more

I don't normally leave bad reviews unless I am completely unsatisfied with my experience. As someone who works in costumer service I tend to be very patient in these situations, unfortunately my patience has run thin. I ordered a couch on May 1st of 2020 and scheduled my delivery for the following two weeks (May 19th). Due to the pandemic I found it reasonable as they had given me a disclaimer that my couch may be delayed. However, when I received a voicemail about my delivery approximately three days before the previously scheduled date. The voicemail left was only 10 seconds long and the operator spoke so quiet and so fast that I could not understand her and neither could my partner. After listening to it a couple times, I was able to make out that it was from Ashley HomeStore in regards to my delivery. I then called them back only to be left on hold for about 10 minutes just to be told that the lady who previously called me already spoke to me about my delivery and that is had been delayed to June 25th. I explained to her that she had not adequately explained this to me hence why I called. I thanked her anyway, although upset for such a long delay. I tried to remain patient and understanding until I received a text message from Ashley HomeStore last Monday (June 22nd) where I was asked to pick a delivery date of July 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. I found this absolutely unacceptable. It has already been almost two months since my initial order. We called the costumer service hotline the next day and asked for a refund after yet again being put on hold only to be met with "you'll have to go in store in order to receive a refund." We immediately went to the store and asked for it yet we were told that the manager who had the authority to do so wouldn't be there until the 25th and they would give us a call about it AND they told us after looking up our delivery that nothing "would be leaving the warehouse until July 9th," which wasn't even a delivery option. The next day I received an email claiming that my delivery would be available June 28th. Finally, today (the 25th) we received no phone call from the manager that was promised to us. I am outraged by the lack of professional costumer service as I have also purchased and received all of my other furniture items from other companies in a timely matter during this same time period. I will not be purchasing from Ashley HomeStore again. I hope in the future this may be resolved so that others may have a better experience than I have had. read more

I wish there could be a negative 5 stars! This location would take the CAKE!! I have been trying to get them to take care of a faulty piece of furniture since the day they delivered it. The driver assured me that if I accepted it they would make note, talk to the manager, and make it right. But they keep passing me off to every other person and department. First it is the store manager, then customer relations, then that manager, then back to the store manager. I bought the extended warranty thinking I would be covered! Ha! Now they say the defect is not my fault, so it is not covered! And the manufacturers warranty won't cover it. I have a sectional that will not hook together! You can not sit on it. It falls back and wobbles and then the person in the seat falls to the ground. I have records of every time I have spoken to someone. They will not do anything to assist. Jenna is the worst. I had to call the store 19 times Friday. They said I had to talk to customer relations. Customer relations told me to call Justin at the store. Jenna would not transfer me to him. She hung up on me 18 times. I wasn't yelling. I was not rude. I simply needed to speak to her BOSS. Finally after the 19 th call, she answered my call and said that she would have either of "the Ashley's" call me back. Still, no returned calls. I have a right to speak to someone. I am a customer. I paid for my furniture. Because they have been so horrible and so many other people are having the same issues I think a lawyer needs to be involved. I don't think they will avoid certified letters! Day 97 still waiting for my bed to show up. I got a delivery 2 Weeks ago and was brought my headboard ,bureaus and seI was told that I wouldn't of wanted the footboard that was supposed to be delivered due to damage. Also the server came in with a broken hinge. Noted that I didn't receive the footboard and that the hinge was broken on the delivery paperwork. Checked at the store two days later to follow up and they said that the footboard showed it was delivered. That's why I followed up. They could not get a date as to when the rest of my bed would be in so I asked if he could connect me with the "escalation team" that I was told would be following up with my order The manager said he had never heard of it. Manager told me that they would refund me all of my delivery charges but that hasn't happened yet either. Got an automatic text for the delivery of an entertainment center so I chose Saturday the 11th. Got a text a couple of days later and they said my delivery is scheduled for the 7th. To recap. Still no bed (ordered dec 30), no such thing as an escalation team, delivery notes not read , broken hinge that I'm on my own about, no refund for deliveries, automated delivery system doesn't seem to read your replies. About the only thing that works is when you pay for your furniture. Day 103. I thought this day would never come. My final delivery was scheduled for today. Finally my wife and I would sleep on a bed. The delivery came in and low and behold no hardware in the box. I didn't think anything else could go wrong but I was mistaken. I called and was told at least two more weeks for the hardware. How does a store exist with so many issues? I looked to see if I could get the hardware somewhere else but they are special screws. You win! I give up! It's too much work to keep doing this. I would suggest that after reading this you not shop there. Great buying experience. I recently moved to town and needed a 6 seater table and chairs for a reasonable price. Now I wanted this table to last a while so I did some shopping. I went to three furniture stores. First one had cheap prices and delivery, for cheaply made items. Price was great quality was horrible. Second store was a high end furniture store and the prices were through the roof high but the quality of merchandise was EXCELLENT. The last store was Ashley. I found exactly what I was looking for in my price range. A reasonable price for a nice quality item. Pros: solid quality item, reasonable prices, friendly staff(well the lady I dealt with at least), good selection, 5yr extended warranty(best deal in the store!) Cons: delivery charge was $130 for deliver in Murfreesboro(seems high but they do put it together for you), prices quoted good for one day (normal sales tactic, don't let this affect your decision most places need the sale so they will give you the same deal another day), wait time (they have to order everything from their warehouse and it could take 3-5 weeks to get your item to you) So in my opinion this store is a great option for people looking for quality and reasonable price. The biggest problem I see with people and furniture stores are they want something to last 20yrs but want to pay particleboard prices. So let me put this another way, this store WILL NOT have the lowest prices in town, BUT they have better quality items! So another case of you will get what you pay for! read more

I wish zero stars was an option. We worked with a salesman named Mike or Big Mike, who seemed like he knew what he was doing and was very personable. We purchased a recliner and couch on 6/5, we picked this set over another one we were interested in because Mike told us it was in stock and would be a 2 week delivery. We called 2 days before the delivery date to cancel just the recliner and the automated system said that our est delivery was 3-5 weeks because our items were on back order. I texted Mike and he said that our items got damaged on the way to the warehouse and that is why there was a delay but the person I spoke to with customer service said the items were just back ordered and had been for some time now, they also told us that they the delivery date was likely going to keep getting pushed. I told Mike I felt like we were misled when purchasing the furniture and that he was continuing to tell us anything to appease us and we wanted to just refund the entire order. After calling 5 different times we finally got a refund on 7/7. First they only cancelled the recliner and not the couch, then I finally got them to refund the entire order like we asked them to originally after calling 2 more times to speak to someone. Each time I asked for an emailed receipt showing the return but was told they were not allowed to send anything like that which made absolutely no sense to us. On 6/30 I called and spoke to Emmanuela who said she was the manager. I told her our whole story and asked for a status on my return since it had been weeks at this point and our money still had not been returned to us. She let me know that the items were cancelled but that the refund was never processed. I was very angry at this point since I had spoke to multiple people over 2 weeks who told me the order was cancelled and we would have a refund in 5-7 business days. I apologized to Emmanuela because I did get frustrated with her and was not nice but after weeks of trying to get $6500 back and being blatantly lied to I was upset. Emmanuela told me she was on vacation previously and this was the first she was hearing of our issues, I told her that in itself is an problem. She said she is the only one authorized to process a refund and I told her then the people she works for should tell customers that. Not once were we told the manager that could process returns was not there or that there would be a delay because of that. As of 7/7 we have our money back but the whole process of dealing with anyone at the Ashley Furniture in Murfreesboro TN was the absolute worst. On 6/23 we went to a different furniture store and bought a couch which was delivered BEFORE my return from Ashley Furniture hit my bank account. I hope that someone sees this review before going there and doesn't have to go through what we did. read more

THIS IS FOR THE MURFREESBORO, TN LOCATION ONLY If I could leave less than 1 star I would. In February My son and new wife bought a piece of furniture from the Ashley Store in Murfreesboro, TN. At my encouragement they spent $10,000 because I told them Ashley would provide great quality and customer service. 2 months after receiving the furniture a leg broke off. They started calling immediately trying to get someone to come out and repair it. For the last 3 1/2 months they have been given a total run around. Numerous phone calls were made to the store and even 3 trips in the store trying to get this resolved. We have spent hours on hold only to be told that we needed to call yet another number. Finally today I have had enough! I felt like my kids were being taken advantage of so I called and spoke with a manager. That manager told me that they could not guarantee their furniture more than 72 hours and that she could not even put in a service request because it "wasn't her department" . I was told that once you purchase from them they have no responsibilty as to the quality of the furniture and that I would have to take it up with the manufacture. She was hateful and non caring. She even told me that she wasn't the one that made the furniture or sold it so it wasn't her problem. If she is the manager then Yes it is very much her problem. While waiting for hours on hold I was subjected to continuous claims of how great their customer service is but in reality it is the absolute worst I have ever experienced. I do not recommend that anyone ever buy anything from the Murfreesboro, Tn location. We did not purchase from the Manufacture We purchased from Ashley and that is who should make this right. This broke 2 months after purchase not a year or longer and if Ashley Furniture can not stand behind their products more than 72 hours then they need to shut their doors. read more

I purchased some patio furniture in June 2018 along with a extended warranty. I noticed that my table started to peal in 2021 so I reached out to the warranty company and provided them all the requested information so i could file a claim. Although I followed their instructions, they would never log my claim after several attempts. I later went into the Store in Murfreesboro and spoke with one of the store Reps for assistance, she experienced the same thing getting nowhere with filing a claim. I then asked the Store manager to get involved Emma and she made several attempts to assist in getting a claim filed and had no luck. I was later told by the store manager there's nothing that they can do and now I paid for a warranty that wont honor a claim and stuck with a patio table that is deteriorating right before my eyes. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AND WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. read more

I tried to order a mattress online but wanted to schedule delivery in Nashville Tennessee on a specific date - not possible. I tried asking the chat box rep for help - no response after waiting 5 minutes. I tried calling customer service and they told me I needed to call the store directly. I called multiple stores in the Nashville area directly and experienced the following: 1) was able to place an order but then got hung up on when scheduling delivery options, 2) tried to call back and was sent to Louisiana, 3) tried to call back again and was sent to San Antonio, 4) tried to call back 6X and had no answer, 5) called another Nashville store and was told they could not take orders over the phone, 6) called another Nashville store and was sent to a store in Indiana. I am going to Mark's Mattress in on Nolensville. Astonishingly bad service and really really messed up phone system. read more

I went in to look at new furniture and found a sectional that I liked. Two days later I went back and decided to take more time in finding the right set that would fit best in my small living room. So I decided to cancel it and take more time to find just the right one. I put a deposit on the furniture and they told me it would take 2 to 6 weeks to get my money back. I have called many times during these 6 weeks. I have yet to see my money back but they sure were fast to take it out. This is not right for a business to do!
