Delivery gets a 2 star though!!!!.... We knew they were coming and did our best to get 2 dogs/2 cats put up but in the end (disabled husband at home)... delivery guys kept leaving door!!!! and 1 dog got out and were afraid cats did as well....all animals are home but delivery guy could have been more helpful with keeping the door closed. read more

The service was good, the people are professional, the credit process was simple and the delivery people were okay. The problem I have is with the quality of the furniture after it's in my home. Instead of purchasing two simple recliners for my man cave, I purchased the two seat electric recliners pictured here. Poor decision on my part. The electronics in the chair work sometimes. The massage on one chair never works. One charging station works, the other does not. But the biggest problem is after an hour of sitting the chairs are hard and uncomfortable. Like I said it's partly my fault,but that doesn't negate the fact that the ensemble is just bad. It doesn't work and it's uncomfortable. Where do I start. Customer service, I don't think they know what that is. Bought a sofa and love seat in November 2025. It was overpriced but we liked it and went for it. After buying, we found the exact same sofa and love seat at another location for about $1100 less! Ashley had been advertising that they will meet a competitors price. Went to the store, showed them the paperwork from the other location, and they agreed to refund us the difference. After not getting the refund for several weeks, and going to the store and having them re-submit for the refund, I decided to go after headquarters. Turns out that headquarters did not want to honor the refund for the price difference. After "arguing" with their representative, for a while, I gave up. I went to my credit card company and filed a claim, and then filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. After a couple more phone calls with the credit card company (they actually did a 3 way call with me and Ashley), I got a call from headquarters who said they will honor the refund request. My refund arrived about a week later. Now for the latest. One of the control panels on the sofa (controls the reclining feature and the USB ports) was overheating. Went to the store to see how to file a claim since it was still under warranty. The store person got headquarters on the phone, explained the situation, etc., and said they would fix it. I was to get an email with instructions to take a few pictures to send them first. Three days later, no email. I guess they figured I would go away. Went back to the store. The person I dealt with first was not there that day, so another worker too over. Told her what was going on. She looked up the claim, and decided that they would just replace the sofa instead of trying to fix it. She put that into the system and said I would get a call later that day or the next day regarding delivery time. Left pretty satisfied, but then started to think. Why didn't the first person suggest to replace the sofa? Got the feeling I had just been "had" in order to get me out of the store. Sure enough, got a call an hour later from headquarters. They said they were ordering parts and I would get a call when a service technician would come. I told them the store told me they were going to replace the entire sofa. She said that the "leadership team" over-ruled that request and that they would repair it. What I suspected was likely true. The employee likely knew they would not replace the sofa, and did that to make themselves look good and put the blame on HQ. Either way, they both stink! read more

Review Title: Misrepresentation of Brand - Please Verify Before Purchase I purchased a Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt 2.0 Firm King Mattress and adjustable base from the Ashley HomeStore in O'Fallon, MO, paying a total of $5,598. Before buying, I asked the sales staff no less than ten times if both the mattress and base were genuine Tempur-Pedic products, and each time they confirmed they were. When the first mattress was delivered, it felt completely different from the genuine Tempur-Pedic I had owned before. After contacting the store, I was given a replacement - but the exact same issue remained. Upon checking the Law Tag and branding, I found both the mattress and adjustable base were actually made by Symphony Sleep / Innovative Sleep Technologies and not Tempur-Pedic at all. When I called customer service, they firmly stated they would not issue a refund under any circumstances, only offering another replacement -- despite the fact that both previous replacements were also not genuine Tempur-Pedic products. We contacted customer service numerous times and spoke with representatives in the Philippines. Their scripted lip service is just that. I paid $600 for white glove delivery, and both delivery attempts resulted in my couch being damaged. On the second attempt, the delivery driver came into my home smelling strongly of marijuana. I bought a display case in September and it was delivered without the shelves. I should have just sent it back. However, that probably would not have been allowed. The salesman warned me about checking the condition of the cabinet throughly. Well, I understand why. If you have any issues you will get the run around from customer service. DO NOT TRUST ASHLEYS **Update*** 9/15/2025 We have had several employees from Ashley's Warranty department state to us, this was a store level mistake and the store should take care of this problem. These were all recorded lines by Ashley furniture. Bailey F. a warranty specialist also already stated she had corrected the original invoice to reflect the wedge being cover by the extended warranty. I received a call for a corporate solutions specialist Angela J.. Mrs Angela informed me there was nothing they can do because the manufacturers warranty had already ended. Even know we bought the extended warranty from Ashley. Mrs Angela is telling me this is an Extend Warranty problem and when we exchanged the original couch. It was our fault for not contacting them to update the extended warranty. When I asked to speak to Mrs. Angela's supervisor, she stated there was no one else to speak to. Nor would she call any of the other specialists I spoke to, to figure out why they are telling me this is the stores fault. Apparently, lying to customers goes all the way up the chain. Come to find out Angela does have a supervisor I can speak to. **Update*** 9/12/2025 Still no conclusion to a broken couch. After multiple more phone calls still we get directed back to the store. Then the store sends us back to warranty department . After 1-1/2 phone calls with no profanity or rudeness. I finally got to a supervisor, Rob. Who decided to hang up on me because I asked him if I was speaking to the warranty department and asking to make a three way call with the store. Which we have done multiple 3-way calls with already. On July 7 the wedge broke, it is now August 19 and still we do not have a replacement wedge. They have screwed up on countless stages of paperwork. The employees were nice at the store! The service after purchase is horrible. We waited like 3 weeks to get our couch. 1 of the recliners just stoped working after 3 weeks. Thank goodness it was down. Contacted the customer service and they wanted pictures of the damage . There was none due to it being the electric part. I sent the pictures and a lady called to advise they were sending out the part. She requested me to call once it arrived and they would schedule a technician. I contacted them on Saturday 3/7/26 to let them know. They advised the systems were down and they would email me my service date. The email came and it said the 1st available appointment was May 14th. 2 months before anyone can come out. Nothing is cheap and now I have this high bill im paying and I am out of luck in using it for 3 months now. First, the good. The salespeople at the store were very helpful, and not pushy. They let us shop around, and when we found the sofa and chair we wanted, they made purchasing easy. Now the bad. The fulfillment experience thus far has been a nightmare. First, the store told us the furniture would be delivered in three weeks, but the earliest date fulfillment gave us was over a month from purchase. Ok, an extra week or so isn't horrible. Two days prior to delivery, we get the text from their AI chatbot (that's literally what the text said), with a delivery slip that didn't include the sofa at all. The next day, I call Ashley, and the automated system shows that my sofa IS getting delivered with the chair. I wait to talk to a person, who confirms that no, my sofa is going to be delayed AT LEAST another week. She can't give me any additional information, other than "it will be available AFTER this date". No notification from Ashley -- no text, no email, no phone call. Had I not called Ashley Furniture, I would be left asking the delivery people where my sofa was. Unacceptable behavior from a billion dollar corporation. I will never shop there again. read more

My wife and I bought over 10,000$ worth of furniture from Ashley furniture and were told that 2 pieces of a bed room set, Chest and Dresser, were going to be delivered a month after purchase. After living out boxes still for the last 14 weeks, we were super excited to finally get the furniture we needed to keep our clothes in. After talking with them this week, we were told it was going to be another 11 weeks! They would not even call us and let us know that either! We honestly feel as if they forgot to process that order(which they probably did). I tried calling customer service 6 times and got told I was getting transferred to someone that could help and got hung up on every single time. Finally I was able to get ahold of someone and After stating that we could not wait longer than the date they gave us, they could not even apologize about it and went on to basically say "it was out of their hands" and that they could not help us. So the store makes the money, the lying salesman gets his commission and we lose a lot of money on a major purpose. The salesperson was very knowledgeable in helping us pick out a mattress. I stressed the importance of choosing a mattress and adjustable base for my disabled husband. The salesperson assured me that we could return it. They have a 90 night guarantee on their tempurpedic mattresses. He never once told me that we could only exchange it. We are not happy with the mattress. It sleeps very hot despite purchasing the cooling mattress protector as suggested by the salesperson. My husband is very sensitive to heat and cold. It really affects his balance. We tried it for 30 days as the salesperson suggested. I then called them and they told us that we could only exchange it and not get our money back. I was told to go into the store to exchange it. I went into the store and the store manager of the O'Fallon, MO location told me that they were "too busy" to help me and I had to come back on a day that they are not busy. This is unacceptable and has been a huge hassle. I am now dealing with someone at Ashley who requested photos of everything and will let me know when I can go into the store and do the exchange. I am leaving this review regarding the Mid Rivers location in St. Peters, but I cannot seem to find their page. Long story short, don't. We were sold a great deal on a floor sale by a certain salesman. It was a "full" bedroom set. We asked numerous times if the bed we have would be compatible with the new set and were assured it would. However, when it was delivered, it was not compatible. With the sale being a salesfloor package, we got the whole package of the set. We thought in the store the bed frame looked off to an extent next to the furniture but thought it was because it was fabric next to wood and were told it went together. Well... after we refused the set due to numerous issues in the furniture we were scrolling online for other options and saw the bed frame we were sold was NOT the bed frame that went with the set. Our salesperson was condescending through the whole experience and quite snippy on multiple occasions. Overall, it was not the best experience by any means. However, I will say, that the men who came to deliver the furniture and ultimately took it back were very helpful in trying to resolve the issue at hand, much more helpful than the salesman. read more

I would not recommend purchasing from Ashley. It has been a headache to confirm delivery of our CORRECT furniture - we ordered a modular sectional and 1 piece was the incorrect color. Salesperson blaming the warehouse and delivery for messing up, and the delivery folks blamed the order entry by the salesperson, meanwhile we don't have the correct pieces for our couch. Then on top of that, we simply want to return a piece that we don't want - we were told if we don't want a piece we have 72 hours to decide to return it. The same store salesperson gave me an incorrect 1-800 # to have a refund and return pickup placed. (The # was a separate Ashley customer care team, who told me that the store should be able to process returns and refunds - which also took me a 20 min hold time to get in touch with them). So I then call the store AGAIN to speak with the store manager who tells me his hands are tied, gives me a correct 1-800 Ashley customer # to call to process a refund and return. He wasn't certain on their hours, and turns out they're not available on Sundays so I get to call again tomorrow. This has been an AWFUL experience since placing the order that is STILL unresolved. I will not use Ashley again. UPDATE 1: I called the correct customer service #, and after waiting on hold for 20 mins, was told their systems was done and they couldn't process anything for me and that I should try calling back again later today. The store manager can only process essentially an email to corporate requesting a return/refund and says "we will see what they say". I'm trying 1 more time to get my return and refund processed, against my better judgment, and if I'm not successful I'm filing formal complaints with the state attorney general and the BBB. I contacted the store, customer service and the protection plan i purchased and they tell me its my fault the finish is peeling off, moisture issue. SO no wants to fix the problem. Like many people, during the pandemic I have spent a lot of time in my home, which gave me time to think about the things I was ready to update and change. My living room furniture HAD to go. It was time for an upgrade. When MO started opening back up, I ventured out to the discount furniture stores in the area and wasn't finding anything that I liked. I drove past an Ashley store and felt compelled to go inside. The experience itself was very pleasant. My sales rep, Joe, was kind and informative. He allowed my friend and I plenty of time to sit on several furniture sets, and informed me of a deal too good to pass on. I decided on a new set and got payment squared away. Joe informed me that delivery time was going to be a little longer than usual due to the pandemic, but I never would have expected to be going 3 months! It took quite some time before I received my first delivery notice. AWESOME! My furniture will be here just in time for the start of the school year. Then, two days later, I received another message pushing my delivery out to September 2020. At this point, who is to say that I won't get another message like this when I get closer to the delivery date? I paid the $1500 upfront, and have absolutely nothing to show for it as of now. My living room has been painted, and is ready for my furniture to arrive. This has been a nightmare of epic proportions shopping at Ashley HomeStore O'Fallon Missouri Avenue K! First the mattress and box spring that I spent over $800 for was to be delivered December 20th. I waited all day, called that evening as it was not delivered dealt with a rude person in shipping who would not connect me with a supervisor. Finally, after speaking to Amanda in business services got the mattress and box spring delivered on the 23rd. The delivery guys caused damages which I am awaiting a check for from Ashley AND, while they took the old mattress LEFT THE OLD BOXSPRING IN THE DRIVEWAY! After half a dozen calls and complaining a week and a half later they finally got that after I was fined by my homeowner's association $50. So, after damages, fine delay you'd think it was ok??? NOPE! 3 weeks after the mattress who delivered it's got a dip in the middle of the mattress. At first I thought I might be imagining it but when my wife changed the bedding for the third time (as she changes bedding every week) she saw it so I contacted Ashley Jan 13th. Spoke to the salesperson Nicole who sold me the set, she was apologetic then spoke to Amanda in business services and she too was apologetic BOTH SAYING I MUST HAVE RECEIVED A FLAWED ONE. I get it....that happens....Amanda said she'd reach out and call back Thurs. 1/16. I received a call from a Lucinda in guest services on Tuesday 1/14 she said somebody had to come out and inspect it. Given how much I'd been through I didn't understand this but she said I should get a call the very next day on Wednesday to have them come out. Nobody called Wednesday and Amanda never called back Thursday so I called Amanda on Friday and by now I'm pretty ticked off. Amanda said she would reach out as I told her I wanted a mattress that night. So I speak to her again on Friday 1/17 and she is passing it back to the very ineffective Guest Services saying the need to handle it and send someone out TO DETERMINE IF I QUALIFY FOR A REPLACEMENT MATRESS!!! and blah blah blah. I tell them this $600 mattress is breaking down after 3 weeks in my home and after initially stating it being a factory defect now they're not even definitive IF THEY WILL REPLACE IT! This is an extremely sad state of affairs I feel dirty dealing with them and I feel I've been treated like dirt by them! The whole reason I bought this is because I have a bad back, made an effort to seek a firm matress and told them this and now because of the dip I have to stick a pillow in the hole to try and sleep because this is now in my bedroom and they can't be bothered....a company as large as Ashley...to send a replacement out. So the saga continues. Delivery was set up for tomorrow and I just received a call delaying it another week....5 months later.

If I could give a zero star rating, I would. We were deceived by Ashley salesman twice now. They sell you a protection package or a "GBS" as a $149.99 add on of which they told us after the period of protection ends and if it has not been used, we get that $149.99 back as a credit to use in future purchases. We waited the period of time which was 5 years without using the package and we're finally able to use the credit. What both salesmen neglected to mention (two different sales, one purchased at a different time) that we can only use that $149.99 credit on anything priced at $500 or more. Completely deceived us. Absolutely unacceptable service. We will NEVER be going back and I'm sure after seeing the deslotation of customers, they won't be in business much longer. read more

We purchased a kitchen table set on 3/31 and the table with 2 wrong chairs and the bench were delivered on 4/13. To be fair, it is a very nice set. However, on 4/18, we decided we didn't like the way the set looked in our kitchen and called to try to cancel the remaining delivery for 4/19 and were going to let them know we would return the set. The automated line is terrible. My wife called numerous times and was never able to cancel the delivery. When I finally got through on the morning of 4/19 after waiting on hold twice for over 30 minutes, I was told that all sales are final and there is no return policy. We were told by the salesman that if we didn't like how it looked we would have time to have it returned. My wife swears he said 30 days. Also, our salesman bragged about how much furniture he sold the last year, which makes you wonder if his success comes from these incorrect statements to customers. Telling us we had time to determine if we liked it in the actual setting of our kitchen was not true, apparently. Now we feel stuck and we feel had. My wife is extremely upset as well. If we cannot return the set, we will be stuck with a $2000 kitchen set that we don't like and don't want in our kitchen. This feels like a nightmare because of Ashley's really bad customer service. We bought the items 19 days ago and it was delivered 6 days ago. Off to a pretty crappy start, Ashley Homestore in Ofallon, MO. Extremely unhappy about our interaction from start to finish. Salesman telling us incorrect return information, wrong chairs delivered, terrible phone/call center experience, and ultimately not able to return the still new table and chairs for any refund. I don't know if we will ever get our bedroom set... First thing's first, this is not a bad review on the people at the O'Fallon store, it is the company itself with the issues. We ordered the Havalance Bedroom set from Ashley Homestore on New Year's Day. Let me start by saying that the process itself was fine, the salesman was very nice, not overly pushy, and the management team came up and talked to us as well. They were all very accommodating to us in the store. We were told that the set was a new item and there was a back order on some of the items. We went ahead and spent the $3000+ on the set and was prepared to wait the 4-6 weeks because we really liked it. First delivery was scheduled 2 weeks after purchase for 2/21. A week later than the 6 week estimate, not too bad. On 2/19, they said that only the dresser and chest are in and the bed and nightstands were delayed, but the bed was supposed to be in on the 21st, so I rescheduled for 2/28 thinking that we could get everything but the nightstands. On the 26th, I got a call saying the products are delayed until MARCH 27th!!! 12 WEEKS from the original purchase???? SERIOUSLY???? The Amish can build a barn in a day and you guys can't get me furniture in less than 3 months?!?!?!? If you are looking to get any furniture within a reasonable time period, purchase elsewhere. If this stuff gets delayed again, I am cancelling this whole thing and demanding interest on my $3000+ they have held for almost three months with no product to show for it. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I recently bought furniture for the second time this year from Ashley on Highway K in O'Fallon. During my first purchase I bought a power recliner that had blue neon lights. I bought a warranty for the power chair. About two months later the power suddenly went out. I called Ashley and they had me call a third party who the warranty was with. Keep in mind I wasn't told it was a third party I had to deal with. I looked the company up which is based out of Florida and just about every review was horrible. I scheduled an appointment to get the chair repaired. The guy came to my home in a raggedy beat up car. He got looking unkept damn near looked homeless. The guy half ass fixed my chair. He got the power working but couldn't get the lights back working. He told me that I'd receive a phone call from his company or Ashley and they would decide wether to send me another chair or order a new part. Needless to say, I never heard back from Ashley or the third party company. Every time I called the company I get the run around or telling me someone would call me back. Just about everyone from this company had a bad attitude or acted like I was bothering them when I called. A few months later, my wife bought my daughter a bedroom set. They were suppose to take the old mattress away. When the delivery guy came they said the mattress had stains on it so they couldn't take it. I told them the salesperson said to buy a mattress cover which we purchased from Amazon and they would take the mattress. The delivery guys refused to take the mattress. I called the Ashley and they said someone would call me in two days to give me a date that they would pick up the mattress. On day 4 after not hearing from Ashley I called back. The guy who answered gave me the exact same spill. Saying someone would call me within 24-48 hours and let me know when they would pick up the mattress. On the second day, a lady called me and said if the mattress had stains then they will not pick it up. I told her that I talked to the other two people who said they'd pick it up. She sounded like she was reading from a script disregarding everything I said. I said ma'am you guys told me on three separate occasions that someone would come and get this mattress. She said sorry and kept repeating some script I guess they have already prepared for their customers. I will never shop at this place again. Ashley get away with this crap because they are just about the only show in town when it comes to reasonable priced furniture. Weekends Only is going out of business. So it's pretty much Ashley and Value City when it comes to prices that are in my comfort range. But I'll either pay more from now on or go to Value City. That place will never get another dime from me. read more

We bought some furniture in May because of a no-interest for 1 year offer. They were not able to deliver that offer and we are paying interest. We wanted the furniture so we went ahead with it. The toll us it would be mid or late June before the largest piece was available. Then they called to arrange delivery in late June. Then reached because it wasn't there. Again in July, then August. We had 5 different delivery dates come and go before we finally got the last piece in November. While we were trying to contact them they would not answer or return phonecalls, emails or text messages. I will never buy anything from Ashley ever again. Here's an idea. Instead of telling me to email you AGAIN with order numbers, contact your own store and find out why your customer service is non-existent! read more

I would rate the couch I received from Ashley furniture at 5 stars. I even had a great experience picking out my couch in the store. My dude Angelo was so helpful and extremely patient as I made my decision. The customer service experience, however, is what my score reflects. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere! It took 2.5 months to get my couch due to everything being delayed by COVID, which is not the issue. However, I lost over nearly 4 hours of my life on hold with this store trying to schedule my delivery. Even though we confirmed my contact information in store, I never received the text/e-mail communication as I was told and I was unable to sign up for my original delivery date. In trying to reschedule (and after about 45 minutes on hold) I was originally told that because I could not be there for the date assigned to me with 2 days notice, that my couch was going to the next person in line and I would have to wait another month or two. After asking to talk to a manager and over another hour on hold, I talked to someone who was definitely NOT a manager who "confirmed" my new delivery date. Turns out he was wrong and after another 30 minutes on hold a week later, I found out I needed to wait another 2 weeks and would need to call back to reschedule again. I ended up going to the store in person to make sure I had an actual delivery date, and even when I did get that confirmation, the customer service person could not print off my confirmation and also ended our conversation by answering another call without actually ending our conversation. When my couch finally did arrive, the delivery guys were nice but I had to ask one of them to put their mask on for the first delivery. When the second piece of my couch came, neither had masks on. The customer service throughout this experience has been so bad that I will never be a customer of Ashley Furniture again. I don't know who is making all of this money off of the furniture buying-boon and if it's not making it to the employees for their share or if they just don't care, but dang. This was bad and it doesn't look like my experience is an outlier. read more
