    If your read one review let it be this one!!!! Wow I wish I could give zero stars. This is the most unprofessional company I've ever worked with. It started with the sales rep lying about the bed we were buying. This should have been the first red flag The mess working with customer service to figure out the issue should have been the second red flag. But what really topped this off was when we moved and realized the bolt and screws in the bed that should be removable were completely stripped. We were moving and needed to store the headboard but couldn't because the bolts were trashed! I called daily multiple times trying to get ahold of someone about the issue. And the additional warrantee we purchased said this doesn't fall under their warrantee, so I call the store and NO ONE ANSWERS EVER! So I finally go in to the store and work with the front desk girl who clearly doesn't know what she's doing ether. So creates a case, I change the address on my account because we moved, and I get the case number. She said a tech will call within 2 weeks to schedule a day to come out. So I wait 3 weeks giving them some slack because I know they are really busy. Then I call. No one knows what I'm talking about. I give them the case number and no one knows what I'm talking about. So I go into the store yet again and luckily (or not so lucky) meet the manager over all of Utah and Idaho. He makes it sound like he's got my back and he "knows" the best main techs phone number. He calls him and the tech agrees to come out to my house personally that Thursday afternoon. Well Wednesday afternoon I get a automated call saying a tech will be at my home between 7:30 am and 11:30 am. I had already rescheduled 2 appointments to make Thursday afternoon work!!! I get ahold of Curtis the manager over Idaho and Utah and tell him what happened and he denies saying anything about Thursday afternoon! He said he would reschedule my appointment anyway, well the tech still ends up at my house (no one was home) at 9am! I tell customer service (who called to tell me the tech was there) I tell them what happened and she attempts to switch calls and talk to the tech and she starts bashing me to the tech. Well she didn't switch the calls. I told her, ma'am it's still me. And she says oh crap and puts me on hold! She finally comes back and says she can do Saturday but doesn't know what time. I told her that's fine but I need to know asap so I can schedule my Saturday, and she said someone will call with a time frame that afternoon. Well no one ever calls. I try telling the manager I'm done and just want a refund and he refuses and now refuses to talk to me and won't respond to my calls or texts. So here we are. Saturday morning. 10:50 and I get a call saying my tech will be at my home in 30 min. I make sure my mom is there and waiting. He never shows. I get a call turns out, my address never got changed, and I even gave the manager the correct address when I went into the store! The tech was at my old house! He says he can come at 1:30 and I say my new house is 4 min down the road can your just come now? He agrees to be there by 11:30. Well it's currently 1:15 and still no ones here. I try reaching out to the dispatch number, no one answers, I call the manager he ignores my call. I text the manager he doesn't respond. I call customer service and after being on hold for 30 min someone answers asks to put me on hold. I say sure and 5 min later I get a survey on the phone and then it hangs up!!! I'm currently on the phone AGAIN waiting for someone to answer the damn phone. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY! They don't care about you AT ALL. they lie , and their customer service is the worst!

    We have had nothing but trouble with our Lazy Boy purchases. About a year ago or so, we purchased a…read morecouch and two recliners that were connected with a console for our small living room. We told the sales person that we needed a couch that could sit close to the wall and not hit. She assured us that we bought their wall friendly couch that only needed 3-5 inches and it was labeled correctly on the invoice. After it was delivered, we discovered it needed at least a foot or more away from the wall! We traded in the couch for a love seat (no bells or whistles) and an electric recliner. The electric recliner has to be unplugged almost monthly to get it work. We rarely use it. Then they didn't put the console chairs together properly when they delivered the wall couch. They kept coming apart and after the 4th tech visit and that tech destroying the drawer by screwing it closed, we returned the whole unit and replaced it with two manual recliners that were delivered in June 2024. Six months after delivery, one of the armrests came loose and you can feel the staples. When you do a Google search for best recliners, Lazy Boy comes up first. That needs to change. Their products are not worth the premium price you pay and are even less quality that if I buy some off brand. I highly recommend you not even bothering to walk into their store.

We've normally gone to some of the smaller quality retailers in SLC, but wanted to try local. I had no idea where to place them in the pantheon of furniture stores. I did not realize it is all semi-custom furniture. We were looking for a sofa, love seat, chair combination for the room attached to the kitchen. It needed to be leather. We very quickly found exactly what we wanted. These days everything is huge pillowed pieces. I don't want the chair to have huge arms 15 inches wide. I want more Contemporary. Clean lines, square edges, comfortable, earth tones. They had it in spades. We chose colors, leather, details. The price was in line with the furniture we were replacing that had served us well for 30 years. It was still as useful as ever, but showed 30 years of use. We've been thrilled with it for the couple years we've owned it. The top quality leather recliners we got the RC Willey have just been horrible, and are more pleather than leather, despite what we were told. It's peeling. That was 2K down the toilet. We've just purchased exactly what we want to replace them and they should be here soon. I'm a happy camper. The only nit was finding we had choices on foam type in the cushions for the chairs and not being told we had them on the other furniture as well. In the end we found the other furniture was what we would have picked. It you've made it to the end of this, make sure you verify you got to choose everything that has choices.

Walked…read morethe full store testing out various sofas and viewing the limited selection and colors which were mainly all grays. Not a single sales person offered to assist me nor even greeted me even though I was the only customer in the entire store. The two women viewed did not even look to make eye contact with me. Very surprised at the lack of both customer service and treatment received. Definitely will not be making any purchases from this Bassett store.
