I had a very disappointing experience with this store from start to finish. I was initially told my couch would be delivered on March 1st, but that date came and went with zero communication. Not once did anyone reach out to inform me of a delay, I had to continuously follow up myself. Each time I called, I was given different information, and when I asked to speak with my original salesperson, I never received a callback. I also requested to speak with a store manager multiple times and again, no one ever followed up. The lack of communication and accountability is extremely frustrating. Now I'm being told that delivery could take up to four months from the time I placed my order, which is completely unacceptable given what I was originally promised. Overall, this experience has been incredibly disappointing. The customer service is poor, communication is nonexistent, and expectations set at the time of purchase were misleading. NEVER Buy from Ashley Furniture Store!! Buyer Beware!!! Horrible, Horrible customer service, rude, and pushy. Quick to blame everything on the customer!!! Product was missing hardware, and chair legs. Table legs would not seat properly into table. Picked up the product myself, then was told that I should have inspected it before I left the store. So, if I get this right, I would have to assemble it at the store, un-assemble it (to see if it "fits" right). Then go home and put it together again. Best they would do for me was 100 dollars off of a 1,765 dollar purchase of a "piece of junk". Oh and it gets better (sarcasm) I have to drive back to the store to get my "massive" discount for all my inconvinences and for their defective furniture!!! In my experience, Ashley Furniture has been incredibly disappointing. Both the salesperson and the manager assured us that we would either receive a quick delivery or, if the estimate didn't work for us, we could easily cancel the order over the phone. When the delivery date turned out to be much later than promised, we tried to cancel--only to be told that phone cancellations weren't allowed. We had already moved out of the area, so going back to the store wasn't possible. It feels like we were given inaccurate information just to secure the sale. This has caused a lot of unnecessary stress, and I would not recommend this store. read more

Prompt service. Sales rep let us look through the store and didn't pressure us into purchasing anything. When we didn't see what we were looking for, we showed him what we found in an on-line search, he found it and wrote up the order incorporating all discounts. read more

Not a happy camper after placing an order in store on 2/14/2025 for a reclining couch and was told by the sales guy that it would be delivered in about 3 weeks/early March, but now that it's been over a month (3/17/2025) and I hadn't heard anything, I looked up my order status online and it shows it's not scheduled for delivery to the warehouse until March 30!!! I even called the store to verify if this was accurate or not, which they said it was. So by the time I actually have it delivered it will have been 6+ weeks since I placed the order!! That's double the amount of time I was told it would take to arrive!! I even have the sales guy's text that he sent me stating that it was scheduled for arrival in early March - a blatant lie! Had I known it would've taken this long I wouldn't have ordered that couch and would have picked another one that would've come in sooner! So very disappointed that I was lied to and now I'm without a couch for another 2 weeks. We just finished an entire home remodel and I was planning to purchase a new dining room set and a new bedroom set from Ashley but I will definitely be purchasing elsewhere since they clearly lack the integrity to be open and honest with their customers. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ASHLEY LOCATION PASADENA! We got SCAMMED! My husband picked out a sectional and table from Ashley and it was delivered a few days later on a Wednesday. He met the furniture people at the house (we have not moved in yet) and signed off and went back to work. I arrive in MD Saturday and take one look at the cheap furniture and call Ashley to have it retuned so I can exchange it for something more modern farmhouse style. Ashley said yes it was within the 3 day window they'd be happy to pick it up so we can shop for new items. The soonest time for them to get the furniture is Wednesday. We have been staying in a hotel until our furniture from Texas arrives via moving truck. I met the guys at the house to pick up the furniture and next thing I know the delivery truck driver puts someone on the phone who tells me the items are damaged and they will not accept the items back!!! I was shocked. We have not used the furniture or even lived in the house the furniture was delivered to. I explained there must be a mistake and the furniture was delivered this way so any imperfections (I still have yet to see the photos of "damaged" goods were clearly done from the warehouse or delivery process. They said if my husband didn't point it out initial delivery then there's nothing to do now. They basically pulled apart the furniture (the sectional) found a stitch missing where it connects and said that's damage! I asked to speak with the warehouse manager or corporate or anyone who could come to my home and see this furniture in person not from some delivery guys phone pic and to this day, a week later, I have yet to receive a call or anything. I'm now forced to take this further to report fraud to the credit card company, BBB, the media and whomever will help. We need additional furniture for the house so in exchange of 3k store credit we were willing to spend an additional 5k to completely furnish bedrooms, living room etc. My husband got one phone call with the store manager then when he texted the photos of the furniture the manager blocked his number. This is absurd. What happened to customer service and why do I have to fight for someone to do the right thing! We were planning on spending more money but now after seeing how ugly this store is I will take my business to Macys Westfield Annapolis. Please take my advice and don't deal with this company! Update on my review previously posted. Someone contacted me when they saw my review; I think she was from customer service. After a few emails, I get the run-around again. Basically, so sorry, nothing we can do, contact Daniela in claims dept. So I guess I will have to take the matter to small claims court. Here was my issue which I can no longer find or update the original. My issue is not with the store itself, but delivery of the couch purchased at the store. See details below of the timeline of events and DAMAGE caused to my home. First, In October of 2022, I purchased sectional couch from 8038 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122. 2 weeks later, a couch delivered from their delivery company (Mid-Atlantic Furniture Distributor Brandywine, MD) resulting in damage from front door up to top of steps; gouges in wall and scuff marks. The next day, I called store and informed of the damage, told me to send pictures, so I sent pictures and video. A few days later I received am email received from Daniela Cifuent at ugiclaims@gmail.com & 201-987-6887 (phone number that I called and spoke to her). A few days later, the delivery person called asking if I wanted money on a voicemail. I called this person and left message that I didn't want money, I want the damage repaired (He never returned my call & didn't contact me again). A few days later, I received an email received from Daniela stating claim denied because the contractor followed protocol. Next - I left an email for Daniela, she never returned my call. No resolution was ever reached in this issue of damage to my new home. No one ever took responsibility for the damage caused to my home. I would highly recommend that you NOT buy from here. We ordered furniture on March 5th was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks but they had to tell us that it would take at least 12. Went to the store the manager told us it would be another 2 weeks. Still don't have it and was told that it will be at least another month. Terrible communication and promise what they can't deliver. Also, the customer service at this store is awful. My husband told the girl on the phone that we would never buy from here again and she hung up on. Very nice to be able to shop at a physical location, a lot of variety. I was Looking for sofas and Accent chairs and was able to find a mix of styles, including transitional or classic sort of style that I wanted. Yes, some items in the store are cheaper looking, but in particular, I found the sofas reasonable and good quality to last us for a Good amount of time read more

We were on our way to the gym when we decided to stop into this Ashley Homestore. We had been talking about needing to buy a new couch and heard that it was currently a nightmare to find good furniture and fast delivery dates. So we wanted to just look and check out prices and delivery times. To our surprise, we ended up leaving with an entire new beautiful living room sectional, coffee table, and end table! Everything was in stock and delivery dates were available immediately! It was amazing! Our salesman, Sean, was super professional, extremely patient, and went above and beyond with helping us find exactly what we needed. He even pulled up the Ashley furniture website to compare to make sure we knew we were getting the absolute best deal possible! If it wasn't for the extremely professional and user-friendly experience that Sean gave us, we would have never decided to purchase anything that day. An update to my review on Ashley/Regency home in Pasadena - any delays beyond a responsible timeframe we're my fault so this is not my grievance. While the furniture was out of scope for the delivery window I was promised in person, it was shorter than I had expected from my written agreement and I had been away and unresponsive to efforts of delivery prior to my couch being returned to warehouse so that's on me. My delivery however was extremely underwhelming. It should be noted that my delivery drivers did arrive in their allotted window, however that is all that went right. I ordered one couch and one loveseat and as soon as the drivers arrived they told me my furniture would not fit (without unloading the furniture from the truck). I told them I measured, it would, and previous owners had much larger furniture up here and they were still unwilling to make effort to get it in (they still hadn't removed the couch from the truck) I ask them to try which they hastily agreed making no real effort bringing the couch long ways up the stairs and they wound up leaving the couch in my doorway downstairs. They did bring my loveseat upstairs and left black marks on the back of the couch but only took photos of the front for their records. After unsuccessfully leaving my sofa in the doorway they gave my their signature page which they had already filled out themselves to indicate that the furniture was assembled (it was not), delivery drivers were courteous, and personal property was not damaged. I was exceedingly frustrated that my delivery drivers filled out the forms for me and lied as my furniture is not assembled and very little effort was made to complete my delivery.
