We ordered a bedroom set that was delivered 4 times....damaged every time. 5th tome was finally acceptable. That means 4 different days we had to sit around half the day in their delivery window to send the furniture right back. On June 18, we bought a couch set for $2300 paid in full. After a couple postponements we had a confirmed delivery date of August 12. We cleared out the old couches as directed by delivery instructions. Turns out the delivery appointment was a mistake, and it will still be another 10-12 weeks before we get the couches. That's 5 MONTHS they will have had our money, yet we have no couches, assuming we get them in the 10-12 weeks. Stay away from Ashley Furniture. read more

Alright. Do not buy fruniture here. I had an issue with my dining table and I tried to have the warranty cover it. I've reached out to Will the store manager and he agreed that the dining table could not be covered with the warranty when actuality the issues with the table are covered under the warranty agreement. Will "so called store manager" then offered me a discount on any new purchase. This place is a joke when it comes to customer service. I basically spent an additional 90 dollars on a warranty that turned out to be a scam. There are other places to get fruniture near pearland. Do yourself a favor and shop around. The store saleswoman was okay,it's the delivery service they use, it took me three weeks to recieve my items.Then my ottman has a hole in it when the delivery guy calls the warehouse they tell him they have to take everything back becaus e of the finance company doesn't allow you to keep part of order. But that was not explained to me, I will not be purchasing anything else from them. now I have to wait 7 - 14 days for a person to come look at the damage item i recieved and try and repair something that is supposed to be new. ZERO STAR RATING. I purchased over $6000 worth of furniture from this location over the past 2 years. Last November my wife and I found the bedroom set we wanted to go with, in store at this exact location. A week after finding it we decided to place the order with their website, from the comfort of our home. The $1,600 bed that we purchased with the set started warping in the head board dramatically, after LESS THAN 1 year. Seeing as how it was still in manufacture's warranty i called and basically wasted hours of my life. They sent a tech who in his own work order said : due to the size and intricate design/carvings the head board is warping and irreparable! Then he proceeded to state "it was not a manufacture defect"?!?!?!? After arguing with their customer service for quite literally 4.5 hours non stop, because they kept saying they are "2 different franchises" and throwing me back into the call que or just flat ending the call, i FINALLY got in touch with a manager and they FINALLY agreed to allow me to go back in store and select a new bed instead of replacing the head board because they have discontinued the line. Discontinued the line that had just come out less than a year ago, hmmmmm I wonder why????? Well my wife and I went into the store made our selection only for the store rep to tell me that the bed I purchased was the most expensive one they had, and I would loose $400 by exchanging it for the new one we selected. This two star rating requires some explaining. Ashley gets 4 stars for what goes on in their store. They're not too pushy (unlike Gallery Furniture and most others) and let you look around without someone breathing down your neck. When you make your choice, the ordering process is fairly quick and painless. However, delivery is a completely different story. I ordered a bedroom set for my daughter and I have had it swapped out twice because the delivery people cannot get a dresser here that doesn't have problems. From an unremoveable spot on the mirror glass to cracks in the paint to dents and gouges on the drawers, each dresser had to be returned. The third one is the best of the three but there is still a crack in the paint on the mirror. They are sending a technician to fix it this time. The furniture here is nice but be very wary of the furniture delivered. Send it back if it isn't up to your standards. read more

We recently purchased furniture with Ashley's Home Store in Pearland and our order was mixed up they provided us with a new delivery with the correct Furniture allegedly you still have not received it yet but I did request that they put two table chairs on the new delivery as a courtesy for the mix-up speaking with several managers who gave me the run-around and when I spoke with the store manager he informed me that we made it right by providing you with the correct furniture and they were not doing anything else. He told me I could speak with Mike Gomez the regional manager and when I call to speak to him I was informed that he does not take calls. Apparently Mr Gomez is now too big to actually have interaction with the customer this is how I'm taking it. At this point I want to return Furniture to Ashley Home store and I do business with them anymore they cannot 1 own up to their mistake as well as making things right with the customer especially if I put in a request that was not outrageous the chairs are $100 a piece that was not going to break Ashley HomeStore or Mr. Wilson's pocket the store manager. In the midst of this whole transaction the lack of communication throughout was a little unprofessional quite frankly to say the least it seemed that there's no one really wanted to emphasize their mistake but just tell me no we cannot accommodate you on two chairs. I had an awful experience. The sales person was nice but the company processes are the worst. I went into the store to order, but many items i saw online were only available online so many items were scheduled to ship where i have to assemble it and some were home delivery. Both expected 3-4 weeks out. Calling customer service is an all day event you have to start by 7am with exceptionally long wait times. I knew the furniture was cheap, but was surprised by the delivery options, how long it takes to get your furniture, and the very poor customer service. I ONLY purchased from Ashley's because of the 18 months interest free financing. If i had interest free financing on my credit cards i would have purchased from Wayfair, or Amazon with much better service and delivery read more

I went to the store and ordered some furniture in May 2021 and was told it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery. After it had been 8 weeks I called and customer service stated it would be another 12-14 weeks. After this I wished to just cancel my order. I have called customer service many times and they keep telling me that someone from Ashley would be calling me back for the cancellation confirmation. I have yet to hear. No email no call no nothing. I have made several calls to them and they all say someone will call you 48 hours and nothing. They even told me the pending charge of the furniture on my card would go away and it's still there. I went in to Ashley Store in Pearland on March 18, 2023 to purchase a living room set and a sofa table. The salesman came we selected the items 3,254.00, he the let me know it would have to be order. I let him know that would be fine but I wanted it all delivered at time,he stated not a problem. Around mid April I received a text stating my order was ready for delivery, I then called to make sure all items were shipped. They stated the sofa was not in so I informed them that I wanted one delivery, said ok. On May 5, I received another text stating my order was ready for delivery, I scheduled the delivery they came out on May 13, with only love seat sofa table and the ottoman. I immediately the customer care center to inform them of the situation, the representative stated the sofa was in another warehouse I then asked if I could be scheduled the last delivery of the day she stated no guarantees but she would call me back that didn't happen. After 3 hours I called again and was told the sofa was discontinued. I then went into the store to speak with the salesman he said he check on it. Received a text on May 23 stating that a delivery was scheduled left work didn't receive the sofa nor a cancellation of the delivery. Called the customer care center and was told the sofa was damaged during the delivery, I asked if I could come in and select another set but was told I would have to keep the items that was delivered to my home I informed them I ask for a complete delivery not a partial delivery. I texted the salesman on Friday he advised me to speak with Otto the store manager. I called on Saturday to speak with him and was told he was not in left my name and number no call back. After 3 hours I called back got him on the phone , he stated he needed to get to a computer he would call me back didn't happen. I called again he stated the computers were down, let him reach out to someone and he would call me back. Well late that evening I received a text from the salesman asking me to schedule the delivery informed he it was done. Then I went into the store again on May 28, to face to face meet with the store manager, he was not user friendly, I told him who I was and I was frustrated and would he allow me to select something else, he then stated give it to Tuesday and I would need to speak with corporate. The customer should be made to feel as though you are going out of your way to help them , all I felt was they were trying to make me keep a partial order not the complete order I selected. read more

After multiple deliveries, not only have i received damaged items, the delivery driver caused damage to the wall of my new home, and told me it "was nothing", but now I see that the last damaged sofa, which never came in my house, I have been charged for ($900). I have been given 3 separate delivery dates and on 3 separate occassions no delivery. My new delivery date is 1/09/2020. They then told us that its on back order and would receive it 4/19. Once again same thing no one reached out to us so we once again had to go to the store to get an explanation. They then told us that we could order another set that could be delivered sooner or wait till 4/30 and everything would be delivered or to get a refund. We were 100% reassured that we would receive it on 4/30 so we once again said ok we will wait. 4/28 rolls around and finally received a proactive call from them saying that we couldnt receive the furniture till 5/20. At that point we were livid, went to the store and canceled the order and was told that we would receive the refund within 3-5 business days. Decided to purchased a sectional with cash from Ashley Furniture. The salesperson persuaded is to also get the extended warranty as we have 2 kids which understandably increases the chances of spills which he guaranteed would be covered. And if there was something that could not be cleaned or fixed, the part would be replaced. I would like to say that was a complete LIE. My 1 yr old son spilled on the sectional and as instructed I called in the warranty to have it taken care of & was immediately told that it is not covered unless it was 14 days after purchase. Our most recent experience was in this store and the store associates were ignoring all white People and ONLY helping black people. Needless to say, we still ordered a few pieces of furniture only to have the salesman (John) order the wrong piece of furniture. When we called, it was directed to a national call center and they tried to page him at the store numerous times and he just wouldn't respond until we finally told the call center we were just going to cancel our order and miraculously he was available to speak at that point. Not because we don't have it, (I understand COVID has affected everyone) but because there has been virtually no communication about when we can expect it. Both dates that it was scheduled for delivery, no one showed up! No phone call or anything. The customer service rep then tried to pull a fast one and say she would cut our delivery fee for us, except there isn't one bc we financed specifically for that purpose. She promised me information on how the return would work and I never got it. I asked for it 3 freaking times and NEVER GOT IT. They won't issue a refund on the furniture we did receive until they collect it, but I have absolutely no confidence I will receive that money because they clearly do not know what the heck they are doing. My issue isn't this exact stores problem but I did purchase the furniture from there. I bought a sectional on 1/27 and was told it would deliver in a couple weeks. A couple days later I received a call saying one out of the six pieces were backordered until the end of February. Then received another call saying it wouldnt be delivered until sometime in March. Today I got a notification saying it would be delivered this Friday, but when we called they said the one piece is still backordered so they were going to deliver what they had. The new date as of today is now April the 12th. Two and a half months after the purchase is ridiculous, and it's still listed online like it's in stock. The service in the store was good, but I also had to go back in because they charged me $300 more than they were supposed to. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is the sales people were really nice and helpful, and I believe the over charge was an honest mistake. They didn't have the furniture that he wanted in stock so they told him to buy some other furniture like what he wanted and to return it after it was delivered for the furniture that he wanted at no extra cost. He did exactly what they told him to do but then tried to charge him more money. They got the manager and his sales man involved and they told him that they would fix it for him and that his furniture would be delivered February 19, 2019. I went here to purchase living room and dining room furniture. I was made aware that some items would be a while but not into 2023. So I was asked to come back and choose something different. I did this and was told the sofa items were in stock and ready to ship. The table had a 2-3 week delay and the ottoman 2 weeks or so, which I was fine with. However, prior to delivery day I was sent a confirmation email and text. On there it included the sofa and the table and chairs to my surprise. So I accepted it and waited until the next day for delivery. When I checked the tracking for the delivery there were items missing that initially were there. So I called to see what had happened only to find out there was also pieces missing from my sofa that was in stock! The piece that was missing was the wedge piece, which is the corner to put the sofa together. No way possible I was going to accept that not knowing when I'd get the wedge piece. So I rejected the delivery of the partial sofa and the 4 chairs without a table. I will be canceling the order and enjoying my sofa and dining table from another company that stuck to their word and made my family and I happy with our purchase! Two stars because the hope provided that everything was going to be wonderful but not a star more! I have had the hardest time in life trying to get a dining room set that I purchased from Ashley replaced and my store credit issued because they could not fix it. But me getting the store credit never happened. And it has been SIX FREAKING MONTHS!! 1. Table and a couple bar stools needed to be replaced. Because they could not fix it, they attempted to send me new bar stools. Ashely delivered the same bar stools that did NOT match my table (shiny vs dull wood look) THREE TIMES!! I kept telling them that it's an inconvenience to have to take time off from work to wait around for the wrong piece of furniture to be delivered each time!! They never got it right and I'm supposed to get store credit. They also sent the wrong table and the guy just told me to keep it. So now I have one table that is messed up and a new table that don't even match my chairs!!! 2. Now for the credit. I purchased almost my entire house from Ashley and was never ever told that if I get the warranty and am issued a store credit, that I have to use it on a similar piece of furniture. So in this case, I had to use my store credit on "chairs or bar stools". So I found this patio set with a table and chairs as it could also be used inside. Because it could not be sold without the table and had to be sold as an entire set I could not get it. All I wanted was the chairs. 3. Finally picked out bar stools. Now that I picked actual bar stools, there's STILL an issue with my store credit. Ashely said montage won't release it or apply the credit or whatever. So all of this has happened over the last SIX months!! Numerous calls to Ashely and Montage about getting my issue resolved!!! And each pointing the blame at one another. I would have to threaten Montage with going to the BBB on a few occasions because they were not responding to me. Only then would I receive a response! I can say that Devante and JT that both work for Ashley were really helpful in attempting to get my issue resolved. Outside of them, the customer service and this overall experience I received from both montage and Ashley has been nothing but a freaking NIGHTMARE!!! I do NOT, and I mean do NOT recommended purchasing anything from Ashely. If u do, the warranty is pointless. I was told they are going to have a new warranty company but not sure if/when that has taken affect. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB next!!! Purchase -i have purchased a dining table, coffee table sectional couch. I SPENT A TOTAL ABOUT $15000-$20000 Once they had the money FORGET IT customer service went down. How do you LOSE a dining table??!! when you call the Pearland location no one ever answers the phones, I called for several weeks. Crazy... Part -on my sectional the recycler(not the mechanical) it was one you had to pull to recline. Wow, it took me 2 weeks to person. Customer service, after waiting a long time on hold, they would pick up the phone and hang up.. and surely don't call before closing time... wow!! finally got someone at store they tell me I need to call the parts department. Ok, I called customer service, there is no parts department. They told me I need to call the store order part through them and pay for it. after several calls, I spoke with a manager... no different. he took my money never sent me my receipt. sent it off. told I would get my parts 5-7 days. two weeks past. I called customer service. Part was never ordered LOL what a surprise. so then I am told I need to get the serial number from under recliner. IT DOESNT OPEN THE PART THAT I NEED TO DO THAT BROKE!! but I got it after 30 min. sent a picture on the phone 1 1/2 but I was told it was ordered and done It was going to be another 2 weeks... So then I get an email that my name is so common that what is my address DUH ITS THE SHIPPING ADDRESS AND I GAVE THE NUMBER. WHATS THE SERIAL NUMBER ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!! THEY CANT ORDER PART CAUSE THEY CANT FIND TO MANY OF MY NAME!! YOU FOUND HOW TO RUN MY CARD THOUGH!!!! Been waiting since July for Bedroom furniture and they finally try to deliver Oct.21 only to not have to hardware to put everything together.....at this point after sleeping on the floor for months on a mattress, I am happy to get a refund and spend my money with someone else who respects their customers. read more

I purchased a recliner at Ashley for my living room. The salesman was not pushy, like you would find inane other furniture stores. My delivery went very smooth as I was scheduled in a 3 hour timeframe and they were at my home within the first hour of the scheduled time because I didn't want to sit around all day waiting for the delivery people. They were very friendly, in and out with no problems and the recliner looks great in my living room. read more
