I have purchased furniture from this store in the past. The most recent visit was for a couch and love seat. I found the set I wanted and was told they could deliver in 3 to 4 days for $125. I was told the fabric protection was $99. I had the sales person write up the sale for everything at $1500. I was then told the furniture was not in stock and would be delivered 18 days later. I read the bill and the fabric protection was $20 higher than quoted. I called to speak with a manager and was placed on hold for 5 minutes only to be told the Manager would call me back. I received a call from the salesperson trying to protect her paycheck rather than helping me solve the issues. I checked my credit card and the full payment went through. I still have no furniture. Will never shop this tore again. Horrible treatment after the sale. Take your money and then do not care. read more

Save yourself the aggravation and go to a furniture store that stands behind their customers. I ordered furniture in March and refused to sign for it because it was not in good condition. I had asked the delivery guys to take it out of my house and they would not. They said they had to many deliveries to do but would send someone to pick it up. To this date I have called every day and night to corporate and the store and no one... I repeat no one is helping me to get this bedroom set out of my house. They do not care about their customers. They just care about making a sale. The managers are so useless. They run when they see me coming in the store. They tell their sales people to tell me there is no manager on duty. How in the world can there be no manager on duty??? This place is the worse. I ordered over 7000.00 in furniture and they were not able to deliver my furniture before Easter when I ordered it all in March. This place is so bad. They are not good with making their customers happy. They care about the dollar. This place is horrible...... I would never recommend this place to anyone... EVER!!!!!!!!! read more

Being new to St Pete I was in need of a new sofa for my home. I decided to look around at a few places...6 total. One of the reasons I decided to purchase at this Ashley Furniture location was because I was working with a sales person who really took his time with me and made me feel as though I was an important and valued customer even before deciding to make a purchase. I returned to the store two times as I was making my final decisions and was impressed with the kindness of the staff, the quality, and the shopping experience. The name of the sales person I worked with is Tony Caltagirone who was patient, detailed, and an overall nice person to work with. My wife and I recently purchased a mattress and frame. The mattress was scheduled for delivery on 1 day and the frame 3 days later. The mattress arrived without a problem, although we later discovered that the foundation's (box spring) bottom cover had been ripped and separated from the frame. No mention from delivery staff. On the day the frame was to be delivered we received a text that delivery would occur within 45 minutes. Shortly thereafter answered a call but there was no answer. We waited about 2 hours or longer and still no delivery. I decided to call the number. It was the delivery driver. I asked for a status update and was told that the frame was back ordered. So why the text about the 45 minute delivery window? Why was there no notice of the back order. Wasted half a day waiting. Called customer service to reschedule delivery. I told them I could be home on 8/3/17 until 2pm as I started work at 3pm. Cust. service requested delivery at that time frame. The day before delivery I received an automated call stating that delivery would be between 3-7pm! Called customer service and no matter how I explained it they could not work around a 6 hour delivery window with any certainty. It was apparent that the delivery folks had no concept of customer service. After 5 minutes of the attendant telling me how sorry she was, but not able to really help she said the frame could be delivered to the store and we could pick it up. I said we could have done that all along. So now the frame would be delivered to the store on 8/15/17. I called the store on 8/15 but nobody knew if the frame was there. Called back later and was told by Lisa it wasn't there. Nobody knew why. I asked for a manager. He was "at lunch". I asked for a corporate phone number. I was told the manager would call and I replied that I would contact corporate in an hour unless I received a call. No call received so I called corporate. It was the Brandon warehouse number, not corporate. Finally was connected to Colt at corporate. He would look into it and advise me. While on the phone with Colt I had received a call from Lisa saying they had the frame. Apparently the manager Troy had gone to another store to pick up a replacement for the frame. Why no update call? My wife and I picked up the frame and after over 3 weeks were able to get our very expensive bed put together. One last thing. Colt never called back either. read more

I was excited to find such great prices on furniture I was shopping for. But my excitement quickly faded. The manager talked me into buying a mattress, which I did not plan on buying there. He sold me a Serta mattress set, and delivered a knock off. They're refusing to admit their error, and giving me the run around. They also tried to overcharge me $100 for my bed frame. Be aware of what you're purchasing, I'd suggest taking pictures before you leave the store. read more

I had a wonderful experience buying furniture from the Pinellas Park location. Desmond was friendly, professional, but not overbearing or pushy like some sales associates. He helped us pick out our couches and set everything up for us so it was easy. He was the best and we will definitely be buying from Ashley again as long as Desmond is our sales person! April 2018, I made additional purchase. This review is 1 star. Ashley Home Store, Pinellas Park double charged a transaction. I have been trying since May 1, 2018 to get my account credited. I was to be credited a few dollars over $1000. Ashley never reached out to me. I have called repeatedly, gone to the store, etc. Hannah, Corporate office responsible for reimbursement, has repeatedly conveyed to the employee store that the transactions will be handled promptly. On August 3, 2018, received credit of $865.62. As of today, additional credit still have not taken place. The service is horrible. In addition, I asked for corporate number and employees would not release information. Found number on web site, contacted corporate. Spoke extensively and the call was disconnected. Did not reach back out to me. I encourage everyone to view your account. Service is horrible. Out of all of the problems, the store manager of the store has never reached out to me as well. read more

My furniture arrived in a timely fashion and so far so good, it looks great. My only issue is that twice I had to correct the address on the text message they had sent and both times I spoke to someone about it. You need to fix that part of your delivery system. read more

never in my whole life, have i had so much trouble, sure take my money over $2000. bring me a recliner broken (brand new)...going on day three of resolution, still no replacement, run around by management and warehouse. just so ridiculous. i will not recommend to anyone. kanes so much better , wish i would have listened to my husband and just gone with their set. so mad i could spit nail. read more

A couple of years ago, we bought a 14pc bedroom set and some extras for our daughter room from Ashley's and have been very impressed at the salesmanship, quality and the delivery of the furniture. We also liked the financing options as we would've never been able to do it had they not had so many 0% interest options. We recently referred our niece to Ashley's and as she was just moving down from Canada. she needed an entire house with 4 bedrooms furnished. The Sales person, Tiffany, was amazing, easy going, funny, truthful and very informative. She made our niece's daunting task, enjoyable. The financing options made it doable! We have since bought some furniture for our bedroom and are more than happy with everything. I will always go to Ashley's first when buying furniture. read more

We were going to purchase a sectional at Big Lots and decided on a whim to check out Ashley Homestore. They were having a huge parking lot sale. We checked that out but there wasn't anything for us there. We went inside and asked about the Darcy couch we saw online. Patty O'Bryant was our sales person and she was super helpful. It comes in a sectional as well and they had a great deal on it. 14 pieces for 999.00. Patty helped us coordinate all the pieces with what we have and our style. We now have a living room that will be amazing. We even applied for credit which was painless. 12 months no interest. We are extremely happy with the purchase and the help was great, not pushy at all. We are already thinking about our next purchase once the living room is paid off. What started as a good furniture shopping experience has turned into an absolute nightmare. Everything was great in the store. The associate and the manager were very helpful. But the minute we walked out the door after making our purchase is when it all started going downhill. I ordered 3 rooms of furniture. The associate Bill Ruge who helped us told us that everything would be delivered except for the bridge to our entertainment center and the dining room set on the 1st delivery date, 8/31. So the day before the delivery, I went and purchased a new TV and surround sound system. The delivery came, and the entertainment center didn't. So the party I had the next day was held with my TV on the floor which is where it stayed for the next 10 days. They actually brought 2 of our dining room chairs randomly which we weren't expecting. I called and the customer service associate said that "Bill lied to you". So I had to setup another day and time to be available for the entertainment center with the fireplace insert to be delivered. The delivery day comes for the entertainment center 10 days later and the delivery guys drop off the entertainment center and the fireplace and tell me that they can't install the fireplace insert because it won't fit. They convinced me that the wrong entertainment center was delivered. So they left and I called the warehouse who said they don't know why the delivery guy told you that, it is the right piece and the fireplace will fit. So I had to setup ANOTHER timeframe for someone to come out and install it. So now I'm just waiting on my dining room table and a few of the chairs. 40 days after my purchase! The delivery guy comes and my wife and I are all excited. They walk in and bring just the double bar stool. No table. No 2 other chairs. We thought they were joking! He said nope sorry this is all we have. I call the warehouse AGAIN! The lady tells me she doesn't see the table on my order at all. I'm holding my invoice in front of me! I paid $700 for this table! And she doesn't see it. So that's where I'm at right now. I'm waiting on a call because nobody in this company has a clue what the hell they are doing. Who knows when I'll ever get a dining room table. I'm ready to return it all. This had been the most awful experience I've ever had with purchasing furniture. DO NOT buy from this place! read more

I just shopped this afternoon for a recliner and can't believe what happened. I was met by a salesperson and told her I was looking for a leather recliner. She pointed a few out and told me the majority were in the back of the store. I tried a few and then headed to the back where there was a grouping of recliners. She pointed out to me that the chairs in the back row were on manager's special and highly discounted. I found one I liked that was priced with a tag at $499. It was motorized, but she told me that they could sell me a 5 year warranty for only $49.99. She then told me that they would not deliver the chairs on special and I said that would not be a problem as I came in a truck. I told her I would take the chair and she again offered the warranty which I accepted. She then went to the desk to do the paperwork while I tried a few other recliners. After awhile, she came to me and told me that she couldn't sell me the chair for $499. She said that the tag had been mistakenly placed on that recliner and that price only applied to a manually operated recliner. She would however sell me the motorized chair for $769 plus the cost of the warranty. I told her that wasn't right as the chair I wanted had a sales tag on it for $499. She said she had spoken with the manger and there was nothing she could do. Well, she could have sold me the chair for the price as marked and I might have returned some day to make another purchase. Terrible place to buy anything. Purchased a couch on Oct 3 2017 was told it would be delivered on Oct 10 2017 the delivery man showed up at 8:15am but my couch was not on the truck. Was told it would be redelivered on Thur. Oct 12 2017 didn't happen then again on fri. Oct 13 2017 again no couch. Spoke to my sales girl Julissa who needed to speak to her manager Brandon who told me they would take off 50.00 for all my troubles(ok I can deal with that) Finally received my couch on Sunday Oct 15 2017 and it was damaged. They sent me a new cover for the cushion that was snagged. Received my bill and they never credited me the 50.00 that they told me they were going to give me. After calling Brandon at the Pinellas Park store he flat out lied to me and told me he never said he was going to give me 50.00 off for all the trouble that they caused me, also my sales girl Julissa lied and also said the same thing. I will never step foot in that store again and I do advise everyone to do the same thing. There are many different furniture stores out there. Stay away from this one. Beautiful store with an amazing selection of quality furniture. I've been an Ashley customer for years, at several different locations and have always loved the furniture. In fact, my house is totally furnished with Ashley furniture. Over the years, I've only had one bad buying experience, and that's been with a computer chair. Three chairs later and still having issues, I had to return it and opt for something different. My latest experience at Ashley HomeStore in Pinellas Park, I had Kristin helping me. She's wonderful to work with and made sure that I left the store being totally satisfied with my purchases. I've also gotten in-store assistance from Rich and Troy and overall, everyone in the store has always been awesome to work with and very nice! I'm always impressed with the sales that Ashley has. Makes furnishing a home a bit more affordable. Totally recommend this store to anyone looking for quality home furnishings at decent prices. Ask for Kristin! She rocks! Purchased a sectional sofa in mid- September. Delivery date was set for early October. 2 days before delivery date we received a call that our sofa had been damaged on the truck and they would reschedule for about 9 days later. Okay, but I asked if we could have an afternoon time slot....what kind of delivery people can't set up an afternoon delivery time. They only come when it's convient for them. So... I called the corporate office and was told the same story. You have one job- to deliver furniture and you can't load the truck to ensure a convient time? Especially after YOU damaged the first one? Oh, by the way, the corporate office said the sofa was not damaged, the local,store ordered the wrong item! Really?!? Called the local store back and the manager and a salesperson said they just tell people it's either damaged or back ordered even when they don't know what really happened. That explains the three different stories we heard. Just lie about it. Long ugly story short, we cancelled the order and went somewhere else. Left a message for the regional manager to call us too, but never heard from him. I wonder why?? read more

I have shopped at this store quite often and it is great. Recently I purchased a head board and foot board for a full size bed not realizing it didn't come with rails. I went back to the store and ordered them to be delivered to the store on February 7th. I called and they told me they hadn't checked yet. So I waited for their return call it never came, I called again and was told I would be called back in 5 minutes , never got the call and they tried to blame it on the manager. I finally went to the store after being on hold forever. Long story short, the person I had talked never gave the manager Chris my message, never told him anything. Chris the manager apologized and made everything great He truly is an asset to your company because I was so upset about the lack of communication. Julissa is so pleasant she also apologized and I am sure Chris had a serious meeting with whoever answers the phone. I have and will continue to shop at this store because of Chris and Julissa.
