Bought an overpriced recliner with all the bells and whistles, so we purchased the warranty as well. As expected there was a failure of the switch, the warranty company has put in a request with Ashley but haven't had any success in almost a year. Absolutely will not support this company again. The products are low quality, the warranty is impossible to get anywhere with, the store themselves won't help with any thing. If you choose to buy something, don't waste money on the warranty, it's useless and neither company will help. read more

Only gave them one star because I had to pick one but honestly not worth it. I just bought a sleeper couch $1799 plus tax that waa delivered in August 2025. When it was assembled by the delivery crew the frame was broken and I called Ashley and insted of delivering a new one I had to wait 3 weeks for a repair person to come and fix it at my house where I had to clean and he also did not want to take all the debris created because he claimed he had a very small car. That was the 1st issue now I have been contacting them since beggining of November because when I lifted the cushions to vaccuum there is rips under the cushions. Also the cushions are already looking like I have had this sleeper couch for more than a year. I am the only one that sits on this couch as I live alone and dont think this should be happening this soon. I am going to attach pictures as well as screenshots of all emailing that has happened already and still nothing. I had bought furniture previously at Ashleys and never had an issue but clearly the customer service as well as the quality of furniture has declined. STAY AWAY DO NOT BUY AT THIS FURNITURE STORE. I'm a young adult who entered this store with my boyfriend. Upon entering, a sales man asked the people near us if they had been helped, they said yes. The same salesman walks past us, I give a smile thinking he will help us, and he continues walking away from us. Not one employee in the store spoke to us or helped us. I believe it's because these employees are so worried about sales, they thought they wouldn't get one out of me. Well, we weren't there for fun, we were buying a couch and wanted help. Maybe don't judge your customers by their cover and ignore them, that's a pretty bad look on you. No one reaches out to tell you your order is incomplete and there's be delays and they care very little about anybody but themselves when you try and talk to them. Edit: Changing my review to 1-Star from 5-Star. The outdoor table set that was delivered 5/21/24 developed a ton of cracks on the table's border frame by November (less than 6 months) through fairly temperate weather in the Bay Area CA. The cause appears to be the design with how the table slats are pinned to the border. This doesn't allow thermal expansion which is a necessity for outdoor furniture construction. I turned this into Ashley 12/6/24. After getting the run-around with their Offshore call center and not having my call returned, I finally made some progress and they admitted it was a manufacturing defect and offered a replacement. However, a replacement wasn't acceptable to me since it is an inferior design and the cracks will likely happen again. I raised the issue with the store in Rohnert Park. They said they would get with the Regional Manager to see about a return/refund or credit. They never called back. I called back and they said corporate had approved a credit but not one reached out. I indicated that a credit isn't the ideal situation since it would reduce my buying power since we bought the set on sale and it would also put more money in Ashley's pocket if we couldn't find an equal or more expensive option. I asked to escalate the claim further and the representative told me to call corporate. I asked for the phone number. She told me to Google it and hung up on me! I've now filed a complaint with the BBB. Ashley initially reached out and was congenial. However, they came back with a rejection on return/refund and offered a credit for the amount paid. I had further questions on the terms of that credit but also asked them to re-assess the return. The representative said she would do so and get back to me Monday. She never called back. I left 3-4 messages for her with no returned call. I added an update to my BBB complaint and rather than calling me back, Ashley Furniture responded to the BBB thread incorrectly stating that I rejected their offer when in fact I rejected nothing since the representative agreed to re-review the claim with management and get back to me which never happened. I hope Ashley will take accountability for the products they sell and are strong arming their customers after the fact and causing them to jump through hoops. This claim started 12/6/24 and we are now here on 2/3/25. Update to follow. Original Review: Great experience. No pressure. Salespeople gave good space while being available for questions and conversation. I purchased a sofa and ottoman from this store. My delivery was scheduled right before Thanksgiving and the day of the scheduled delivery they were running 2 hours later than my time frame. I had to reschedule and was told that they would not be able to give me the new date for 24-48 hours. Three days later the earliest they let me know the next possible delivery was 5 days later. Keep in mind that this was all through AI. Everytime I tried to call the number on my receipt I was connected to someone in the Philippines. I did not believe that there was an actual phone in the store until someone (a human) actually answered. The manager of the store told me that he understood my frustration and was sorry that I had to purchase a blow up bed in order to accommodate my company that was supposed to sleep on the sofa that was so late in its delivery. He kept on saying he wanted. me to have a "good customer experience" and that he had no power to adjust the charge of my delivery fee. He assured me that someone in the company would reach out to me and that was two week ago. I have not heard from anyone. It's NOT. I purchased a recliner that was comfortable and by all appearances what I needed and wanted for a post operative condition. When it arrived it was not the comfortable recliner I purchased but a "ROCK" that had no give or comfort . I immediately went back to the store to ask for a refund or store credit. They would give me neither. In this store the customer is not important. They look you straight in the eye and say two words " Iam sorry". Do not buy at Ashley's stores. Lazy Boy is alittle more but they have excellent customer service and a 60 day return policy. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. We ordered a couch on 11/22. That day was stormy. We spent 3 hours in the store looking over couches and finally decided on one. I.T. was our sales associate. She was kind, we chatted about this and that, and she offered input as necessary to help us make our decision. We then took advantage of the financing option. We finalized our order and left. Super excited about our new furniture coming. We are a special needs family, so this was a HUGE treat for us in over 16 years. 12/14/24 was our delivery date. We've been anticipating a call to confirm the time for delivery. Nothing. I then called customer service. Had to re-dial several times to navigate the automated service only to be told that the hours to answer my question ended, closed at 8pm. It's 5:30. I then called the store and found out our couch would not be coming. In fact, the sales associate ordered a BACKORDERED COUCH without telling us. We have already scheduled our existing couch to be removed and will now be WITHOUT a couch for Christmas. I was told by the "sales manager" at this location that this happens all the time and she will "speak with the sales associate". She continued to say normal delivery is 3 to 4 days. Ashley Furniture, you NEED to do better. I could cancel the couch, but....I still am without an existing couch AND a now have a credit hit for your financial plan. AND I still need a couch which means a SECOND financial plan and SECOND credit hit. Sales Manager was nonchalant and without concern about our situation. I love my couch but I'm really disappointed in the warranty. I paid $750 for 5 year protection on my two couches. One couch stopped reclining after 18 months, and I had to provide a lot of evidence to Reguard to start the claim. When the technician in came to check out the couch he said it needed a motor and he would order the part. I waited a month and never heard back, so I called Ashley and they said I had to call Reguard and tell them what parts to order. It's ridiculous! read more

I purchased a tv console with a flame insert. my salesman brandon was wonderful however this is the worst place for deliveries. the day which was way too long, i received a message that all the pieces were not at the warehouse!!! they then tried to push it out 3 more weeks so I went to the store in Rohnert Park and cancelled the orde I also spoke directly to the manager and was assured my payment would be refunded back to my method of payment. several weeks went by and no refund I went back and the manager again said oh it is been sent. it never got it. Terrible terrible terrible. After spending 5k we were told by our sales guy that we would get 2 box springs on an agreed price. They mispriced every piece of furniture ordered, I didn't notice until I got home that we missed one item, the agreed upon price for the box springs. We were charged as each instead of 2 for said price. So okay, they made another error, no problem, right? WRONG!!! After 3 days in a row calling, and calls dropped that never got returned I finally got someone on the line long enough to give me some run around business about how they decided not to give me the discounted price (never told me this btw) and that there was nothing they could do. They said they spoke to the Regional Manager who told them nope, can't give them any discount. When I asked for the Regional's name, she said she didn't know, then she stated she cannot give out their name it is against policy, really, their name???? I asked to cancel the box springs and wanted confirmation of cancelation which she said she couldn't provide either, man, buyers beware. We were in need of some barstools for extra seating and since we had a great experience with Ashley furniture when we purchased our couches (different location) we thought we'd drop in to check them out. I was having a tough time finding a barstool to match the color of my couches and Ashley furniture had just the ones! Ali was the rep that helped us(hes the reason for the 3 stars), nice guy, loved that he wasnt pressuring us with "sales rep" talk, he just stood back for when we needed him. Buyer beware Ashley Furniture in Rohnert Park, CA. Store manager Raj and sales manager Gabriel. They have a NO return policy on mattresses. We literally just took delivery of a brand new mattress, immediate recognized it was not what we bought, called to return and were denied. We purchased a new Bedroom Set, including a Bed headboard, rails and footboard with storage, along with a bureau (chest of drawers) and a Sealy Princeton Mattress. Upon receiving the delivery today (8/18/2023), we immediately noticed the mattress as being very soft. We spoke with the sales rep, and the store manager of the importance of having a medium firmness mattress. We were sold a specific mattress and were told a medium firmness mattress would be delivered. We did not receive a medium firmness mattress - we received a very soft mattress. We immediately contacted the local Ashley Furniture store in Rohnert Park where we purchased the mattress and spoke to the sales manager (Gabriel). Gabriel explained that they have a (NO) return policy for mattresses. He would not work with us, and essentially explained that we had no possible resolution, and that we bought what we received. We have reached out to Ashley Corporate, as well as Ashley customer service in efforts of resolving this situation. Ashley Corporate explained that since we purchased the mattress in a local store, that specific local store creates their own policies for purchases and returns. In fact, we found that if we purchased from Ashley online, there would have been a 90-day comfort guarantee in which we would be able to return the mattress and find the best one to our desire. Additionally, there are many other local Ashley stores, in Ohio as example that offer the same 90-day comfort guarantee. It is simply that this local Ashley Furniture store, in Rohnert Park, CA managed by store manager Raj, with sales manager Gabriel, that does NOT offer a return capability. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. They made no efforts to remedy the situation. If you are in the market to purchase a new mattress, we recommend NOT to purchase from Ashley Furniture - whether locally or online. We purchased a couch at the Rohnert Park warehouse. The salespeople were nice enough. We were excited about the couch and set up a delivery date over a month out for Thursday (7/18), giving them our address in Sebastopol. We were told we'd get communication on 7/17, giving us a four hour window for the delivery time the next day. We even got a confirmation text a couple days earlier confirming the delivery date for Thursday, 7/18. When Ashley neglected to contact us with our four hour delivery window the day before our scheduled date, we called the store to find out why. When they looked up our order on the computer we were told that they do not do deliveries to Sebastopol on Thursdays and that we were scheduled for Friday 7/19. Nobody ever contacted us or even asked us if they could change the delivery date. We are working professionals and had rearranged our schedules to have the couch delivered on the day we had confirmed, both in person and electronically via their text. It's on the paperwork! Despite our frustration and their ownership of the mistake, there was no recourse for us. They would not be able to deliver the couch on the agreed upon date, with the soonest next time being an extra week away. Again, nobody ever reached out to us to tell us any of this. We had to contact them to find out why we hadn't received our delivery window for the scheduled delivery date the following day, as we were told to expect. There was no discount or compensation offered to us at all for their mistake. We had also already gotten rid of our old couch at home in preparation for the new couch. At that point we just decided to cancel our order with them altogether. We will start couch shopping again from scratch elsewhere, but Ashley will NOT be getting our business. We had unfortunately read several bad reviews about Ashley after we made our original purchase and had plenty of time to cancel our order for a full refund. My wife had even caught a mistake on the order regarding the size of the ottoman we had scheduled to be delivered too that we had to drive back to the store to fix several days later, as they needed another signature to fix this separate mistake of theirs. Despite this, we decided to hold off on canceling our order in anticipation of actually having a positive experience, beyond these red flags. Well, here we are. BUYER BEWARE - WOOD-BORING PESTS! I purchased 2 nightstands from Ashley Furniture about 1 year ago. Just barely over a year after purchasing them, I was noticing saw dust inside of both cabinets. I cleared everything out to find tiny beetles in the saw dust and access holes where they came out of. I hired an exterminator who educated me that they were powderpost beetles. They noted that these bugs often occur in the manufacturing process when wood is not dried out properly. The exterminator encouraged me to throw them away and reach out to the manufacturer. I reached out to Ashley furniture and let them know and requested a refund since this was an issue with their manufacturing process. They said that because it was a a little over a year, it was outside their warranty and there was nothing they could do. I shared with them that wood-boring pests (powderpost beetles) in their products is something I would hope they make exceptions for, especially given I was barely out of warranty. I was ignored from this point on. I am beyond disappointed in the customer support I received and in Ashley furnitures willingness to stand behind a mistake in their products. We also noticed that Ashley furniture delivery is the wrong bed/ box frame, and asked if we can have that be replaced to have one that actually fits in the broken furniture that they delivered, well apparently that is something that will have to get "approved" to see if they can make that change on their mistake... I had a really positive experience at Ashley Furniture in Rohnert Park this week when buying a new couch with my wife. My salesman Q was nice, informative, not at all pushy, and gave us the space to explore the store in privacy but also stayed within ear shot when we needed his help. I am a big fan of this, because I don't like it when a salesperson hovers over me (but also don't want to not be able to find them when I need them!) I also got to interact with the manager Raj who was equally friendly and helpful. Was even able to arrange a delivery for the same week of purchase. Clean store. Nice selection. We recently received new furniture from Ashley Furniture in Rohnert Park, CA. We worked with Raj and Q. When we asked if there were any advantages to ordering our furniture online, Q told us there are no advantages in pricing. Q also said that all sales are final at Ashley furniture. This is not entirely true. All sales are not final if you purchase your furniture from Ashley online. We unfortunately were unhappy with our purchase for personal reasons. If we had purchased online we would have been afforded recourse in returning our purchase. This is mentioned by Ashley all over the internet. Our couch was delivered with a defect which we told them about at the time of delivery. MY ADVICE TO ALL IS DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR FURNITURE IN STORE. In store purchase at Ashley Furniture in Rohnert Park, CA is misleading and omits important information. I purchased 2 pieces of furniture for door step delivery. One item came damaged. The top drawer is not aligned correctly and the rail on the inside does not sit flushed. This causes the drawer to rub on the lower drawer and will not close properly. Little did I know there is a huge difference in the return/exchange policy from in store and online. If purchased online the return or exchange policy is easy-to-use and accommodating. However the exchange or return policy if bought in store at Rohnert Park is horrendous. I bought the furniture in store and choose door step delivery instead of the in home set up as my husband is very handy and I wanted to save $139 dollars. First - door step delivery the item came fully assembled except the handles. Please keep that in mind, you are paying 139$ for the item to be placed in a room as it came fully assembled. Second - the most deceptive policy which is not disclosed is that Ashley in Rohnert Park WILL NOT allow you to return ANY item that is door step delivery. I find this absolutely horrendous and absurd. I've been told by two different associates return/exchanges are not allowed for door step delivery. Extremely deceptive! The only option is not only am I stuck with a brand new damaged dresser I have to wait two weeks for a repair technician to come out to fix the item. So now I've paid 400$ for a new dresser that arrived damaged which I can't exchange and have to wait two weeks to see if it can be repaired. If not I will have to wait several more weeks for a replacement. Ashley furniture Rohnert Park in store purchase with door step delivery has possibly the absolutely the worst exchange/return policy I've ever heard of. I asked to speak woth the manager on two different occasions and the response was "I'm sorry, we do not accept exchanges or return for doorstep delivery" I'm not even sure this is legal!!
