What a joke this place is! The Sales Manager is a complete douche bag! Short story to this place is I bought the nicest bedroom suite they had in the building. I went in with cash, paid cash. None of their high, crazy push for financing! Made the purchase, then got home and found it cheaper. I called the store and they said I had to come in to return it. I went in, and they ended up matching the price I found. I did all this the same day, and I live 45 minutes from this store. The store gave me a receipt that showed they was giving me a credit to my credit card I paid with.... but never received it. I have called and called. Horrible customer service, horrible management. I will never come back to this place. So I had a massive issue with the Sacramento location, and the Roseville location had the opportunity to help me and completely was ridiculous. I ordered a sofa from Sac and they swore it was already in stock because I made it very clear that this is a commercial project with a hard deadline that in furnishing. Anyways, they lied and the sofa was not in stock as promised and it was back ordered to February... so I begged to purchase the display one and they said they don't sell that, I go in today to find that the display one had been sold! Liars. So they called the Roseville location to see if I can get the display one, they confirmed that they do have it but aren't willing to sell it to me because they want to make sales on it... even though it has a NINE WEEK back order. NOBODY IS GOING TO GET THAT. They literally could've helped me, and I was willing to pay again and pick up if I have to. My boss is going disappointed that we received EVERYTHING except our sofa for the lobby, Ashley furniture couldn't get anything right. I wish I could give lower than 1 star. We have a 2 year old couch from Ashley. Within the first year the fabric started falling apart. After sitting on hold for upward of 15 minutes calling this store, we finally got someone and they did come out and repair the couch. This happened twice, within the first year. Now that we are past the 1 year store warranty, we have to rely on the GBS service planned we paid for as the couch continues to have issues. GBS is worthless. Every claim I have submitted from breaking seams to cushion stains is not covered. Not sure what is covered but apparently a couch with seems ripping apart after 2 years is totally normal wear and tear? WTH? Don't waste your time or money at Ashley. Just received our "incomplete" order. No notification that the order would not be complete. One sofa was discovered broken at the warehouse so was not loaded. One of the expensive recliners was discovered broken when it arrived, along with being dirty and having torn leather. The workmanship looked very poor. I had ordered two so we have rejected both. I am not at all impressed with their operation. The deliver guys were nice but then again they are contractors and not Ashley employees. Would find it difficult to recommend Ashley. Their extreme mark-up/on-sale sales technique I don't care for. Go to Beck's furniture to get the Ashley sales price as the posted retail price. If dealing with Ashley don't take anything for granted, document what you are being promised, and keep your expectations in check. Under no circumstances should you ever purchase Ashley's furniture "insurance" which they will coerce you into adding if you make a purchase in store . If you purchase online, be aware because it will be automatically added to your cart at checkout. You have to pay attention and delete it from your cart. It was my misfortune to purchase the insurance twice now, the first time on a bedroom set that had some hairline cracks but I thought "fine, I'll just use the insurance should it get worse". BAD IDEA. They did get worse to the point that I thought the headboard might crack in half. Mind you, this is a guest bedroom set that is used just a handful of times per year. So I got all the necessary information and called the insurance company. They asked me to text them detailed pics of the headboard and other cracking in the wood. They literally texted me back in FIVE MINUTES and said, nope, this isn't covered because it's "wear and tear". Huh??? So I called them and spoke to them on the phone and that was their story and they were sticking to it. I said there is no way this is wear and tear, you can see the actual line where the wood was originally "glued" or molded together. She said "I'm sorry but we won't change our decision". What a racket!! I paid thousands of dollars to this "insurance" company and they are so fraudulent it's ridiculous. I give Ashley 2 stars for cohorting with these thieves and added the extra star because I'm actually happy with the other set of furniture I got. Just went tonight to look for a new couch! Gorgeous store. The manager, Brian, was extremely helpful and nice.

First time visiting this store. WILL NOT BE SHOPPING HERE AGAIN. We purchased a kitchen set. We paid a little extra and got a 4 place setting of dishes, placemats and a rug. We noticed that what was on the invoice was not the color we wanted. They had to change it 2 times before it was correct. Delivery was to be on a Monday and we hadn't heard from them the time frame. Called and the store had the wrong phone number. Had to change the date. Received a message that it would be delivered on 9/27 8am -12 pm. Got a text this morning with a delivery time of 10:45-2:45. We couldn't ask to change out time after the first text but they can change it the day before and didn't notify us. read more

My buying experience was great! But my complaint is in the delivery process. I originally said that I did not need them to take away my old mattress because I was going to see if family needed it. Turns out they didn't need it so I was going to try my luck and ask if they could take it anyway. The guy said he "doesn't think he can". Which is fine because I denied the service even though they charge you the recycle fee regardless. But after he finished setting up my bed he then said that he does have room to take my bed and said "but do you have tips?" We walk in and you feel an immense rush of being overwhelmed by the selection, but we were immediately greeted and told everything in the store is 30% off. Sweet! So as we're looking at their selection of bar and counter stools, we decided to order 4 counters stools on April 22 in the store, which happened to be on sale, YAY (if you think $89 for a basic stool is expensive, the original price was $200- eeks!). These chairs, unfortunately weren't an additional 30% off since they were part of some other "Manager" special, so they're excluded from the sale. The salesperson was nice and helpful, said they were in stock and will be delivered fully assembled in 2 days - April 24. Ok great, I'll take them, because I needed them asap for my mothers new house that needed furnishing right away! April 24 comes, and no delivery! What?? BOOO! Never got a call or message to notify me of a delay. Finally, got a message on April 26 saying they're now ready to schedule delivery...wait what? Ugh... Fine, so we scheduled delivery for April 28th. I get a recorded call that day saying the delivery is 15 minutes away...ok, sweet!! So we waited, and waited...and waited..a few hours pass, and still no delivery. I called the customer service that same afternoon and explained the issues and they said the delivery driver couldn't find the address on his GPS. Are you kidding me? I know you can find the address on Waze! Movers I hired from the Bay Area were able to find this house with just the address in hand (and they spoke little English). As far as why it wasn't originally delivered on the 24th, they don't know why there was a delay and nothing is entered in the notes. She said she'd try to get the driver to re-route the delivery and call me back to confirm, ok cool!....I never got a call back...(insert rolling eyes here) So here I am again, it's now May 1st and still no delivery. I'm on hold now for over 13 minutes just trying to get in contact with someone who can figure out. Arianna is helpful and claim that it's not corporate office that's messing around with the scheduling of my delivery. Apparently, there's a few people in the store that has been "messing around" with the order - Roseanne, Beverly, Shyanne (sp). If ya'll are going to change my order somehow, you need to communicate it with me specifically and enter notes in the system, because this is the second time a customer service agent has said there's no notes in the system. So, I sit here deciding, should I post this now or wait until delivery? To be fair, I should wait, but I think I've given them enough chances to make it right. Plus, I believe customers and potential customers have the right to know what they're getting themselves into if they purchase furniture from this store. Overall, you get 1 star for your selection, and lose 4 stars for lack of good customer service, horrible delivery experience, and inflated pricing. If I had a good experience, you could have gotten 4 stars. Going above and beyond any of my expectations would have earned you a 5th star, but I see that now, it's highly unlikely. read more

I've called & left messages and they keep ignoring them. We have been trying to return the bedroom set of over $2,000 since the material is cheap and stinks like cheap lacquer. We bought a mattress with headboard and footboard. We received the mattress last weekend 10/16/21,and we were told the headboard and footboard will be delivered the following weekend. We then got an email stating our shipment won't be here until 4 weeks later. We tried calling but they don't answer. I had to go in to the store, which I explained our situation. We just bought our sectional from Ashley and couldn't be more happy with the quality of the product! On top of that we received the best service from our sales associate Tim. He was very helpful and patient. Best of all he did everything he could to get us the best possible price on the couch we had our eye on. He saved us over $2000 on the floor price! At first we didn't think we could afford it but Tim worked his magic and now we own the couch that we wanted and did not have to settle for less. On March 15th we went into the Roseville location to purchase a new couch (we are deff in need because our couch is way over due to be replaced) the sales rep asked if the time frame was important to me, and I made sure she knew that it was. Understanding COVID and all when she told me 4-5 week time frame I was like that's reasonable and we purchased the couch. Fast forward a few weeks I chat in and ask if I can get a delivery date and they say it will be here April 30th, so I schedule the entire day off to wait for a couch and it never came. I had to then call to find out it wasn't going to be delivered and it has been postponed until MAY 24th nearly a month late. I then tell customer service the I'm understandably upset due to the huge delay and zero communication and they let me know that they can't do anything, and the store will reach out to me in 72 hours, I confirm contact info and all.... nobody reached out. I finally call back and let them know everything that has been going on and demand to be transferred to the store who basically says it's not their fault, it's the warehouse and there's nothing really they can do besides waiving the small delivery fee. I then ask, well are we still on time for may 24 and then they tell me it now won't be delivered until JUNE 11th! I'm going to tell you why this place is garbage. I visited this location with my boyfriend and his brother. We are all in our 20s, so naturally people assume things of us. However, we went in looking for something specific, with every intention to buy. We walked in and the lady asks us if we need help. We say no thanks. She then proceeds to follow us around the whole store. I happen to turn around and see her and she tells us she's going to follow us the whole time Incase if any 'questions' we may have. OKAY. While following us she is talking on her walkie talkie to other employees (who by the way are just sitting at their desks doing nothing helpful). Decent prices, sales staff that we came in contact with kinda a joke. We were looking for a sofa bed and dealt with Mike (I am pretty sure that was his name). Nice guy, but he kinda sold us on a more expensive sofa bed by telling us that the mattress would be inner spring, not memory foam so it would be more comfortable for my elderly mother. Fast forward a few days to delivery and the sofa arrived with a memory foam mattress. Decided to keep it. We gave the customer service less than stellar rating, so someone called to see what our problem was. The guy on the phone said that if we go to Costco and purchase a 3inch memory foam mattress topper, it will fold up in the sofa no problem therefore creating a more comfortable bed for my mom when she visits. Ok, we already spent 1000 on the sofa, what is another 150 to make it more comfortable, right? Well guess what? The 3inch topper does NOT fit when the bed is folded. Just bought a living room set from here.. SEAN HUMES was our sales associate- 5/5!! Sean didn't follow us around the store or pressure us.. We found the set we wanted and he answered every question we had. Sean was very professional and friendly. Sean went out of his way to show us other sets that were in the same color as ours just to make sure it was the one we wanted. I have had the worst experience with Ashley Home Store. I bought a whole bedroom set and my delivery date was the 29th well when they showed up, they only had half the stuff because they said the truck driver left without the rest of the items. I took the day off work so I was quite upset. The next day they brought the rest of the items only to find that my headboard and drawer were broken. My mattress also has a huge dip in the middle. Now I am going back and forth with customer service because they are not willing to help and I have to wait till the end of the month to even maybe get the stuff replaced. RIDICULOUS. Store did not come through as promised and it's virtually impossible to reach their delivery department when something does go wrong. Placed an order for living room furniture and agreed upon a delivery date that was planned for a party on a specific date. I sold my previous furniture expecting my new furniture. On the day before delivery I called to confirm and their recording provided several dates and no way of knowing what and when which item will arrive. I was left in total confusion. Nobody from the store could provide information, delivery department was only the recording, and nobody had previosly called when my promised arrangements were changed. On my delivery date they only delivered mismatched poor quality items that did not match what I was shown in the showroom. I was left with an empty livingroom for a party. Based on the poor service and not meeting expected quality standards I will never use this company again and can not recommend them. None of these problems were COVID19 related. read more
