I'm not one for writing reviews, but their sales rep Heba is worthy of one! I've now made three different purchases there within the last two months or so, two of which have been with her. Her willingness to help, patience and genuine interest in helping us weigh our options far surpassed what is expected. In fact, upon walking in today to make another potential purchase she approached us and actually remembered our names. No sales pitch, no following us around, simply found us said hello, and gave us the space we needed until we were ready. If you want to deal with a genuinely good person, go to her. She's great, humble, and does not pressure you in the slightest. I will always go to her moving forward, and regret not having had all three of my purchases with her. They're lucky to have her, and I truly hope they appreciate how she represents them so positively! read more

Well it's been 12 days and Lucy the store manager still hasn't called me. It's been crazy with appointments being scheduled and canceled last minute to receiving the sleeper sofa that won't open. Scheduled the repair guy to come out Dec. 26th and get an unexpected delivery of the sofa table and a missed appt according to the repair guy saying he has a bad address. Really!! The delivery guys found the address both times and he never called to inquire. I called the store Friday night and spoke to Freddy again and Lucy would be in Saturday morning. I told him to let her k own to expect me. I showed up at 11 AM and apparently she's on a conference call on a Saturday. It's now 2 PM and I left my phone number and 3 hrs later she must still be on her conference call. Don't shop at Ashley's Furniture on Carl Boyer, go somewhere else and save yourself the headaches. This store has a wide variety of furniture options from which you can choose for any room of your home. As soon as you walk in the room, you are greeted with an assertive sales associate. I appreciate the service, but I like to browse without being followed. If I have questions, I will ask for help. I think the thing that bugs me the most is that it appears that most of the furniture is made in China, and all of it has to be ordered and delivered for an uncharge. You cannot take anything off the floor, so you need to plan well ahead if you want furniture from Ashley. read more

I've been buying from Ashley furniture for over 15 years and I won't be any longer at least at the Santa Clarita location. They are the rudest aggressive, arrogant salesman every single time. they're supposedly having a sale, and we talked to the sales person about a good price. He said he could do at least 10% off, probably more. When he came back with his "magic numbers" he had taken anything off, so we left. I looked online, there prices tend to be higher than in store, and the same dining set with six chairs is only slightly more than the in store price with four chairs. Not sure what's going on, but it seems like the sale price should be at least the same as online rather than hundreds more. read more

I have not been disappointed by a store in recent memory as much as I have with Ashley Furniture. We went into the store to order a breakfast table with four chairs. The following week the table was delivered. It had to be assembled in home. As the delivery crew were leaving I stopped them and told them that the table wasn't assembled correctly, there were gaps and the legs were bent inwards. He insisted that it was fine and proceeded to leave. No customer service what so ever. They said if I had any problems to call the 800 number. Later I noticed that two of the chairs were mismatched and were wobbling. I called the 800# and explained what had happened. They said they would send a technician to inspect the furniture and repair as needed. I spent almost $1600 on this table to have to be fixed before we even use it ? I should have bought used furniture in that case? The technician arrived in a few days and said that he would need to order numerous parts to correct everything. I became frustrated, this really is LOW QUALITY SUB PAR DEFECTIVE garbage. I told him I would rather return it. I was told that Ashely will not return the furniture, no returns, no exchanges all sales final. I told him not to repair anything and I would go into the store. One of the managers there said they are not allowed to provide any assistance in store and we must call the 800 number. The call center is a NON US BASED center. I was told that all sales are final. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told no supervisors are available. I asked to speak with a Manager, I was told that no managers are available. I would be happy to pay a restocking fee and get something else but was refused. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO OFFER TO HELP THE CUSTOMER. If the own store manager says "They changed the rules and I can't help you" what does that say about their products? read more

The professionalism when selling furniture is absent. Through conversations with the sales person we asked about the floor model of a sectional we liked and when we had asked "if they sell floor models out the door, specifically this one", his response was "I sell hundreds of these a month, why would I sell this one to you".... I took a brief pause, (caught a little off guard) isn't that the point?... to sell? A simple "no, we don't sell floor models" or "yes, in fact, we do" would suffice. HORRIBLE!!! They get the sale and then did not deliver as promised. I was told my delivery would be on Saturday, no show and no call. I had to track them down. Was told the guy who was to deliver was out of town. Then I had to pay for delivery. Delivered on Sunday 8pm in 2 Toyota trucks, not wrapped or covered and then when put in my house damage. Ashley Furniture has horrible customer service and very poor furniture quality. I ordered a sectional sofa and even paid an extra $500 for a lifetime warranty. Since the day I received it, the sofa has been making noises, it's not normal for a brand-new piece of furniture to squeak like that. These kinds of issues usually happen after years of use, not right out of the box. I contacted their customer service and, after answering countless questions, they finally sent a technician. He showed up, made some excuse, and left without doing anything to fix the problem. It was a complete waste of time. I do not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. They are shady. Their furniture is made cheap and when you call to make a claim for something to be fixed with a full warranty at the time of purchase. Salesman promised us that we would be covered fully if needed. Well that isn't true. They just take your money without covering their warranty protection. We bought a sofa set and were offered 24 months 0% which we took advantage off. A little more than a year later I found that I had been hit with over $700 of interest. Went to the store and manager stated that the promo I was given was for 12 months and not 24. I asked to get help with this employee error, manager was not able to do anything. Beyond frustrated with Ashley. We purchased a 3 piece sofa set in 2021. Just recently 2 of the power recliner motors on two of the 3 pieces broke, we purchased the warranty that they claim they will fix or replace it. Warranty people couldn't fix it and they can't replace it as they no longer carry the set. We end up with a credit that doesn't even come close to replacing the broken pieces and I'm coming out of pocket for the difference delivery and a new warranty. We finally made our choice and went to the store to finalize everything. They asked us to come back because their operating system was being updated and couldn't do it. We went back last week again finalized all the details and was supposed to be delivered this week. Then we get a call saying the delivery was canceled because they're having trouble applying the credits. Called today and no update, Corp says the issue is with the store and they can't do anything to help. So now I'm without a sofa because of their system issue and no fault of ours. I'm down two pieces of furniture and I have a credit they are unable to apply. Completely ridiculous situation. Save yourself the headache and stay away from Ashley. read more

This store as a whole is horrible! The Sales people will say anything for a sale! I went in store to purchase a lamp I'd been watching the item for months! So I'd finally sucked it up to buy it, a $300 lamp it finally went on sale for 249.99. I purchased it June 15 with Bobby Everett. I specifically asked when it would be delivered by, he said Wednesday June 19th without hesitation. Come Wednesday, no delivery. I call and with help of the automated service am advised it was suppose to show up that day. Nothing. I called again Friday June 22ND and spoke to a person (customer service line) who is clearly being fed by the actual store what to say. The lady advises it's been shipped and it should arrive that day. Nothing arrives. Today June 26th. I call again, and am given the same lies, that my lamp is coming Friday or Saturday!! If I wanted to wait 2 weeks I could have bought this lamp elsewhere and gotten it faster! I do not like that I feel lied to by the Sales person just to get the sale and am irritated they don't even provide you a tracking number!! You get no info and the store is telling the customer service line to tell customers it's coming when in reality they have no clue. I purchased a sleeper sofa from Ashley and after only 4 years the frame broke. I contacted both parts and the physical store to purchase a replacement part only for them to give me the run around until they tell me it has been discontinued. Contacting customer service, warranty department and the store no one can assist what to do in this situation. I purchased an item from you and you have nothing to offer customers if it is discontinued short of its typical lifespan. Furthermore, the supervisor of the warranty department, John, only kept apologizing rather than speaking through solutions and refused to give me the contact information for anyone to speak to. My husband and I received a good customer service from Lala. Earlier at a different location of Ashley we had a bad experience where they were pushing us relentlessly to buy an item to a point where we felt extremely uncomfortable and I have found that the Ashley home store online portal and stores have different pricing(online pricing tends to be on the lower side) Anyway we found what we were searching for and the price variation was matched ( we showed them the same products in their website with different pricing and asked whether they would match it and they did) so we are happy on that front.All in all we had a good experience here. I have read reviews about the delivery mishaps and late deliveries so keeping my fingers crossed .Will update about delivery service once the products are delivered. read more

We've been long time customers of Ashley's. We decided to go in today to look for a dining table because we usually like their selection of furniture. It fits our style and we enjoy looking at furniture for present and possible future purchases. However, today was probably the last time we'll ever go in there. I hate the way this place conducts business. I don't need to be watched like a hawk. I don't need someone to keep their eyes on me at all times, keeping a close distance and making themselves visible at every step of the store. It makes me wildly uncomfortable and to be quiet honest, it is overwhelming as all hell. My husband and I need to discuss our options. In todays case, we both came in with different ideas of what we'd like. Please tell me why it feels like it is nearly impossible to get a word out without feeling like someone is listening? We ultimately left empty handed because we are adults, we don't need to be watched like children in a playground. These salespeople need to back the heck away and allow people to openly discuss their options without someone in the background taking notes. We went next door, the salesman was wonderful, he let us be! We bought an entire dining set from him (cheaper and much better quality btw). And we will gladly go back because the customer service was outstanding. Also, side note. It's supposed to be Black Friday sales right now. It's even advertised all over Ashley's! Don't be fooled. It's a scam. They haven't dropped their pricing at all. They will try to sell you on it and say "ohhhhh we're not allowed to show the before and after price per the State of California". Me and my husband had the good fortune of working with Mervot and Taylor. We came in looking for a entertainment piece for our new penthouse, and fell in love with the Starmore 3 piece wall unit with electric fire place, and we also fell in love with a lovely office desk and chair. They really took great care of us and addressed all my questions and concerns. The environment was very friendly and inclusive, they made us feel very comfortable.
