    Hi Corine, this is Mabel I was just following up on the text that I sent you the other day about the refund. Please find out for me if I will get the rest of the refund. And it's okay you can keep the $250 that you say for storage or something like that which I don't think I should be charged for it since the wrong mattresses were sent to me the first time and then the second time a defective mattress a used mattress. which was stained and used and ripped out. That's what your warehouse sent me. Could you please check and see if they are going to give me the refund that I'm owed please? Hi Mabel, Good Afternoon, I hope all is well with you and your family. I did I reached out to my District Manager. I cannot refund anymore than what I have been able too. I did try my best to give back what I could.. I do undertand your frustrations and apologise for the drivers and the way you were treated you and your family. This is a text message I sent Corine who helped me at the mattress firm in Valencia. I had a very strange experience shopping at this place. I went to purchase a Queen mattress and ended up buying 3 mattresses but everything got very strange because When they delivered the Queen mattress it was the wrong one. It was inferior to the one I had purchased. Then the delivery people were very rude didn't want to move my other mattress. When I told them it was the wrong one they just left it on my hallway blocking my way to my bathroom. Then Corine apologized and said that she was going to send me the real mattress. So I received another mattress that was the one I purchased but, surprise they sent me a used mattress. The mattress they sent me was dirty it has a big yellow stain probably orange juice. The second delivery was a man that was very nice very patient but very stressed out he is the one that noticed that the mattress I was sent was dirty and was ripped out a tear in the bottom front. He then called the warehouse and I spoke to the person in charge at the warehouse and he said since they already had my old mattress in the truck That if I wanted to I should keep the mattress until they sent me the right one. just while they sent me the third mattress. I decided not to continue dealing with mattress firm because I didn't trust them they lost my trust they just didn't deliver what I paid for. I paid over $5,011. And they took a long time to give me a refund. And when They finally did it was only $ 4,760. She told me that they charged me for a restocking fee which was $250 then they charge they kept the extra which I don't know why. I think it was probably the free pillows and the sheets that were supposed to come with the purchase. I told the delivery people to take everything but they said we are not authorized to take them back we can only take back the mattresses so that's what they did. and I have been trying to get the rest of the money but the company doesn't want to give me the rest which is over $300. One thing I do appreciate is the way Corine has been through all this situation. I recommend her. Unfortunately I had to go to Mattress Suite in canyon Country and that was a bigger headache.

Against my better judgment, I walked into this place, looking for a kitchen table and a sofa table with stools. I ended up buying a kitchen table that I liked, and I also liked a sofa table that they did not have in stock at the time. The gentleman ordered it for me and said it would be shipped out to the store and they would call me once it was ready for pick up. We went around back, picked up my kitchen table loaded it on my truck and drove home. I waited a few days for the sofa table. No big deal. They called me and told me it was ready so I show up and there's a box waiting for me in the rear of the building. I explained to them that I did not know it was going to be in a box otherwise I would not have ordered it at all. There is a tall black gentleman with braids in the front of the store, was extremely rude. He jumped at the chance to tell me... "You signed for it. There ain't no returns. Everything is a final sale here. You should read what you sign for" (which I agree) but the attitude I could have done without. First of all, no one was even talking to him. He did not greet me. He saw me at the front door and walked right past me like I wasn't there & didn't bother with me. (Yes I looked a mess) but that's no excuse. It looks like he's just ready to argue with whoever walks in the door. He's been working there for a very long time so I'm sure they won't be getting rid of him anytime soon, but I think people should know what they're dealing with at this location. So I walked back into the store and asked them if there was an extra charge for the build. There was a woman that said we don't usually build anything, but we will do this one time as a courtesy. I really do appreciate that the woman was actually helping... but that was only after I called the customer service line. I had many people tell me they were unsatisfied at the store, and I still went against my better judgment and walked in. Shame on me, it won't happen again. Next time, give people all the information and let them know that they will have to build it themselves when they get home. I could've went to IKEA if I wanted to build my own furniture. Sad.

Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The bed was purchased based solely on a photo--there was no floor model or display to view in person. When the bed was delivered, it looked significantly smaller and much lower quality than what was represented. We realized right away it wasn't going to work for our space. We immediately tried to resolve this reasonably. We called several times, spoke to multiple employees and managers, and were repeatedly told that "the manager would call us back." That never happened. We went into the store in person, explained the situation again, and were told that while nothing was promised, an exchange might be possible. We left our information and waited. No follow-up. We then sent an email outlining everything clearly and respectfully -- and received no response at all. At no point was there an actual attempt to help us, communicate clearly, or offer a solution. Even if a store has a strict no-return policy, there should be some flexibility or customer care when an item is purchased sight-unseen and clearly does not match expectations. What made this even more frustrating is that we ultimately found a better-quality bed, for less money, with excellent customer service through Amazon. The difference in responsiveness, ease, and overall experience was night and day. We want to support local businesses, but we are not a charity. Customer service matters. Unfortunately, this experience showed us that our business and time were not valued. We will not be shopping here again and do not recommend this store to others.

Apparently their so-called "Goof Proof" coverage doesn't actually cover the product deteriorating under normal use, which is absurd. To make matters worse, multiple stores and sales associates repeatedly claimed that the sofa was "leather everywhere the body touches." That is a complete lie. If that were true, it wouldn't already be peeling and deteriorating this quickly under normal use. Customers are clearly being misled about the actual materials used in these products. Their service process is just as bad as the furniture quality. If you report that something is making noise, they don't actually troubleshoot or investigate the issue. Unless the furniture is literally falling apart in front of them, they look for every excuse possible to deny coverage. The biggest red flag? Multiple sales associates openly suggested exaggerating or lying about when damage occurred just to get a claim approved. Think about that for a second, their own employees know the warranty process is designed to deny legitimate claims, so they coach customers on how to manipulate the system. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how this business operates. They are more interested in selling overpriced protection plans than standing behind the quality of the furniture they sell. Once they have your money, customer service disappears and accountability goes with it. Avoid this store unless you enjoy paying premium prices for cheaply made furniture, misleading sales tactics, and warranty coverage that appears designed to protect the company,not the customer.

Her willingness to help, patience and genuine interest in helping us weigh our options far surpassed what is expected. In fact, upon walking in today to make another potential purchase she approached us and actually remembered our names. No sales pitch, no following us around, simply found us said hello, and gave us the space we needed until we were ready. If you want to deal with a genuinely good person, go to her. She's great, humble, and does not pressure you in the slightest. I will always go to her moving forward, and regret not having had all three of my purchases with her. The delivery guys found the address both times and he never called to inquire. I called the store Friday night and spoke to Freddy again and Lucy would be in Saturday morning. I told him to let her k own to expect me. I showed up at 11 AM and apparently she's on a conference call on a Saturday. It's now 2 PM and I left my phone number and 3 hrs later she must still be on her conference call. Don't shop at Ashley's Furniture on Carl Boyer, go somewhere else and save yourself the headaches. In total we had to take 3 days off for 2 items. Oh and the sofa delivery guy didn't remove the zip ties on the sleeper ‍
