I went to the other two mattress stores trying to find the perfect bed. I tried the floor samples of the ones I had seen online and none of them fit the bill. I walked into mattress firm, not expecting to purchase anything, but Cory, the manager, understood exactly what I was looking for. She went above and beyond and out of her way to assist me. She assured me that if there were any issues, not only they find a different mattress for me, but they would return it if I needed that to happen. The entire purchase process was very simple. The delivery was great. I slept better last night than I have slept in the last three years on a two soft Tempur-pedic. I bought a mid range mattress with a cooling cover and the support underneath. I put my mattress receipt between my mattress and box springs in case there is a problem I know where it is. The other day I found it while rotating the mattress and realized it was almost 20 years old. Yikes! At 74 I have been experiencing lower back pain and a MRI confirmed I have spinal stenosis and disc problems. It was time to get a new mattress. It is such an important and difficult purchase to make so I did some homework and headed to Macy's to check out their end of year sale mattresses. I found one I liked but the salesperson said his shift was over and he was leaving and there was no one else to cover his department It was 6pm and the store didn't close until 10pm. This was not the customer service I expected from Macy's on a major purchase. Yesterday I went to Mattress Firm in Valencia to check out their options. Their online store and reviews were spectacular. The explanation of return policy and delivery charges were clearly explained. Their sales assistants all had extensive hours of education in mattresses, that can't be said for Macy's. I showed up on New Years Day close to their 7pm closing and was warmly greeted by Corrine. We sat and chatted about my needs and about which mattress at Macy's felt "right" to me. She took me to a different brand and said it should be a very comparable feel. It was! I tried mattresses from all the brands at all the costs and the Queen Sealy on sale for $897 was the perfect fit for my inner Goldilocks...it was "just right". I wanted an adjustable bed frame with all the bells and whistles and purchased a top of the line version at a nice discount since the basic $300 adjustable frame came free with the bed. I spent as much on the frame as I did for the bed but know that the options for raising my legs will help with inflammation. The comfort level of my bed has been multiplied many times by the addition of the adjustable frame. It is a quality product with a five year warranty. Woke up one morning and decided to purchase a new mattress after months of back pain on our old mattress. We came in to try the purple mattress but were given an assessment by Kirby and we fell in love with the Sealy Posterpedic. I spoke with Corinne who emailed me a quote for a Serta mattress and Sealy Ease adjustable bed-frame. Corrine gave me an awesome price and went in later that afternoon to purchase both. And it's okay you can keep the $250 that you say for storage or something like that which I don't think I should be charged for it since the wrong mattresses were sent to me the first time and then the second time a defective mattress a used mattress. which was stained and used and ripped out. I had a very strange experience shopping at this place. I went to purchase a Queen mattress and ended up buying 3 mattresses but everything got very strange because When they delivered the Queen mattress it was the wrong one. It was inferior to the one I had purchased. Then the delivery people were very rude didn't want to move my other mattress. When I told them it was the wrong one they just left it on my hallway blocking my way to my bathroom. Then Corine apologized and said that she was going to send me the real mattress. So I received another mattress that was the one I purchased but, surprise they sent me a used mattress. The mattress they sent me was dirty it has a big yellow stain probably orange juice. The second delivery was a man that was very nice very patient but very stressed out he is the one that noticed that the mattress I was sent was dirty and was ripped out a tear in the bottom front. He then called the warehouse and I spoke to the person in charge at the warehouse and he said since they already had my old mattress in the truck That if I wanted to I should keep the mattress until they sent me the right one. just while they sent me the third mattress. I decided not to continue dealing with mattress firm because I didn't trust them they lost my trust they just didn't deliver what I paid for. I paid over $5,011. And they took a long time to give me a refund. And when They finally did it was only $ 4,760. She told me that they charged me for a restocking fee which was $250 then they charge they kept the extra which I don't know why. I think it was probably the free pillows and the sheets that were supposed to come with the purchase. I told the delivery people to take everything but they said we are not authorized to take them back we can only take back the mattresses so that's what they did. and I have been trying to get the rest of the money but the company doesn't want to give me the rest which is over $300. One thing I do appreciate is the way Corine has been through all this situation. I recommend her. Unfortunately I had to go to Mattress Suite in canyon Country and that was a bigger headache. read more

We needed a mattress as our current one went bad; we had purchased a LUCID mattress from Walmart a year ago for the price and it was a terrible financial mistake on our end. I have terrible back pain, have had it for more than 10 years; our old mattress was not helping. Due to desperation, we were searching online and in-store retailers such as JcPenny and Macy's. Although we were desperate, I was reluctant to buy one from jcpenny or Macy's; the prices weren't necessarily convincing. My husband was looking online and showed a mattress from Mattress Firm. Immediately, I told him they just opened one over by Olive Garden, less than 5 minutes away. We hurried to go see a mattress an hour before closing time. We were welcomed by Danny, the salesperson, who guided us through all Options we had. One thing to note that we learned from Danny; "Department stores carry old models with higher prices, whereas Mattress Firm carries new models with lower prices". As I mentioned, we went in fairly late in the day yet Danny took his time in showing AND TEACHING us about each mattress. The following day, we decided to add a base to our bill and Danny ensured his great customer service too. My husband and I will forever be grateful for his time and patience. I am very particular about spending money in a business if they lack customer service or are not helpful; that was definitely not the case here.
