I've been meaning to write this review for a while now, as I purchased my couch back on March 28, 2026, but life got busy! I specifically wanted to thank Krista, Rayna, and Marcus for making my experience at Ashley Furniture such a positive one. Krista and Rayna were both incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer all my questions and helped me find the perfect Larce sectional couch, which I absolutely love. Marcus was also wonderful and helped work out a great deal for me. The entire experience felt smooth, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Great customer service like this really stands out these days, and I truly appreciate all their help. I paid over $2k for a bed and the wooden head board broke off 1yr after purchase. The wood just snapped in half. I purchased this particular set because I was told it was of higher quality wood. Ashley furniture used to have a reputable name but their products have gotten cheaper. I contact Ashley store and was told they only warranty their furniture for 1yr. I was a few days after that 1yr mark. So I'm just out of money and a bed. I expected it to last longer than 1 yr. If I wanted something that would only last year I would have brought a cheaper bed from a discount furniture store. Disappointed with Ashley. Disappointed with their service and warranty and customer service. Will not ever waste my hard earned money on their furniture again. read more

I'm only giving one star because you're not allowed to give anything less in order to write a review. But PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS STORE/ COMPANY. You're better off buying from Amazon or Macy's, hell ANYWHERE. I purchased two pieces of furniture on 11/21/25 and have yet to receive them. My delivery date was actually today but bc the store and every employee who works there can't do their job or simply just chooses not to do it correctly, the delivery driver went to the wrong address and then decided to reschedule 14 minutes prior to the delivery window ending. After I spent four hours waiting for him just to decide he was done for the day. I've already waited a decent amount of time for my items and on top of that had spent so much time making phone calls bc all these ppl care about is making sales and opening credit cards. And bc our address for our new delivery is different from our billing address (and they promised it wouldn't be an issue at the time of the sale ofc) they had us calling and going into the store physically to make these changes bc they can't do it themselves. And whoever the Hispanic chick with the bangs and crunched up 2009 hairdo is at the customer service/ or desk area is very unprofessional, rude, and has no empathy for the mistakes she and her coworkers do. She provides no assistance just like their customer service line. So again, save yourself the headache and go else where. read more

i purchased a sofa about a year and a half ago and included the warranty in my purchase. the sofa got a hole in it and it took me some weeks to try to access the warranty due to some catastrophic life events. because it was after 30 days they declined the minor repair. i doubt id recommend them again. read more

Once you tap your credit card, it's down hill from there and you have to basically go multiple times in-person to fix their mistakes and get anything addressed. They just say they open a case and promise that someone will call you back and no one ever does and nothing gets done. I've never dealt with such a shady company who is nothing but lies. Buyer Beware: Worthless Warranty, Poor-Quality Sofas, and Nonexistent Customer Service I purchased two modular sofas (LAF Sofa SKU: 000005230466 and RAF Sofa SKU: 000005230467) and an oversized accent ottoman (SKU: 000005230408) worth over $3000 from my local Ashley Furniture store on February 20, 2024. Within a few months, the cushions began to sag so severely that sitting on the sofa for more than 30 minutes would leave me with back pain for days. Despite our attempts to tolerate it, the discomfort became unbearable, prompting me to contact Ashley Furniture for cushion replacements. After some back and forth, they agreed--only to send me throw pillows instead of the proper seat cushions that I had asked for. Frustrated, I called the store where I made the purchase. An employee assured me their manager would get in touch. Unsurprisingly, that never happened. Instead, I was advised to file a claim with ReGuard, the company handling Ashley's extended warranty, since I had purchased their $350 five-year protection plan. That, too, proved to be a complete waste of money--ReGuard never responded to my claim. It was only later that I discovered Ashley Furniture owns ReGuard, a fact that was never disclosed at the time of purchase. I still want my cushions for my overpriced low quality sofa! Trust the negative reviews. Ashley Furniture is a dishonest company selling subpar products with an utterly useless warranty. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere. read more

we have been needing to upgrade our living room for awhile. i literally just laid my furbaby to rest hours prior to going into ashley's. i just was not in the mood to be social but i also did not want to go home. our intentions in stopping in were to just get ideas and see what type of inventory they had on the floor. we were greeted by william h. he gave us our space to shop around and we ended up finding a sofa. we had called william over to assist us, he is truly a genuine soul and very compassionate. i had told him what happened and he empathized and said he loves cats and dogs. places like this that are commission based, ppl are usually wanting to make the biggest sale, rip ppl off just so they can make $$. william is not like that, he was really helpful and wanted to make sure we were buying the perfect sofa. we told him we needed to measure everything to make sure it would fit as we have a smaller living room, we told him we would be in touch. fast forward. we went back the next day and william was so thankful we had came back. we purchased the sofa and an entertainment center. the transaction was very easy and efficient. if you want to shop at ashley's, please ask for william! read more

The one star is for the two people who at least tried their best helping me when I came back to the store for cancellation and refund issues. Zero stars for the rest. Long story short: They didn't process the refund/cancellation completely until I went to the store wondering why my bank still hasn't refunded me the money after a whole week of zero communication. I called customer service first to cancel/refund an order and they promptly said they processed and cancelled it, "wait 3-5 business days." Okay great. After dropping the call, I looked at my email and saw NO "refund processed" confirmation. I call again to ask if they could give me a confirmation for records, and this time they just give me a worded email saying they processed it. Fast forward a week later (aka today), I just went to the store because I have no other news other than that one email. Told me to come back 3 hours later when customer service rep comes. I come back 3 hours later. Customer rep still not there so I get told to contact my bank first, but what am I gonna call the bank for if I don't even know if they processed the refund all the way?? With some more looking through my profile it turns out they didn't even process it all the way through. They told me it was good that I came there because now they can actually process it, and that there was no need to call the bank because this was on their end. What? So that email was a lie? The rep that finally came and we waited for barely even helped. They just said the same thing I had in the call a week ago! "We don't get the refund processed receipt immediately, we'll email you by today but the claim went through already and should be 2-3 business days. If not, just call us or come back to the store." Great, call again, come again. If you like getting beat around the bush and waste a lot of time this is a great place to come. All that waiting and we still didn't even get a physical nor digital copy of the confirmed process! What a trip. This is the second time I've been let down in Ashley's by the way. First one was the "white glove" delivery service where they left a whole queen sleeper sofa on the first floor when my grandma needed it on the 3rd. I paid for the whole delivery to be brought to the room and assembled only for them to tell me it was too complicated to put up there because it was too high when I read the whole policy that says they CAN bring it up that high. I I am a Jerome's customer but wanted to try Ashley's in Torrance. First thing I noticed was overpriced furniture, and unable to shop in peace without salesman in my pocket. I found something and paid for it to have it delivered and set up. They delivered two pieces of my order and the driver said I should take it and wait for the rest because if I send it back, they will lose it so I took the pieces they gave me and waited for the rest of my order to arrive. Finally got my order completely delivered, but after talking to the driver, I won't ever go back to Ashley's and stick to Jerome's who has always delivered quality furniture on time in a professional manner. read more

I just moved into a new apartment and decided to get all new furniture. My new place is small so the older furniture, which needed replacing, didn't fit the size or the vibe of my new place. I spent a lot of time looking for the things that I needed it was getting quite tiring. I bought a kitchenette that is very cute and fits in my space perfectly. Oddly enough it was $200 cheaper off the app then it was in the store. I was very happy with the delivery, which was deposited right in front of my front door. They had some nice merchandise in the store, but I'm a little leery about not checking the app first. I didn't have any problems, but a friend of mine bought a mattress and wound up having some problems with the mattress falling apart, even though she had insurance. They gave her a hard time about a refund or an exchange. So I base my review on purchasing from Ashley App. I always recommend getting the insurance because anything could happen and it has you covered for a number of years. read more

Horrible!!! I ordered sofa and loveseat 2 weeks ago should have been delivered today. Wake up with a text and a link saying delivery will be between 8:30-1:30 then at 9 I check the link it says before 10:30. So at 10 I check and it said delivered. Nothing was delivered. I called and the man tells me yes it was delivered then puts me on long hold gets back on and said well they are out of stock you will get a delivery on 9/17. Today is the 4th btw. I said unacceptable. So then he transferred me and someone said they were damaged to couches so I gotta wait til the 11th. Lie after lie ask for a supervisor. DO NOT TRUST THEM! I went into the Hawthorne Blvd store and picked out a rug. The only ones they had left were the floor models so the sales associate ordered one to be delivered to me. I was contacted with a delivery date and time, but then on the morning of the scheduled delivery, I received a message that the delivery had been canceled and that I need to choose a different item. When I called I was told the rug I ordered had been discontinued. I requested a refund and was supposedly going to be transferred to the cancellation department, but was then told that the cancellation department was receiving too many calls so I wouldn't be able to speak to them. It took multiple phone calls and emails and having to physically go into the store to finally receive my money back. This is a very shady business. We needed a new couch for our living room and was directed to the Ashley Furniture store in Torrance. My wife and I arrived around 2 in the afternoon on a weekday and was greeted soon after we entered by Said Hashimi - from his business card. We told him what we were lookin for and he handed us a sale sheet of a few items they had on special. He took us over to one we were interested in off the sheet. Regular price $699 - sale price $399. We sat on the couch and loved how comfortable it was. It was a shade lighter than we originally thought we wanted but decided it could work for us. We decided to purchase and were out the door and back in our car by about 2:30. Very fast transaction. We scheduled deliver for the next Tuesday morning and that went as good as Said said it would. DON'T SHOP HERE!!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would. First of all when we shopped for the couch the lady measured and told us that it would fit our living room. When it was delivered we had couches that blocked bedroom doors and we couldn't even get out our front door. The delivery driver told us they couldn't take the units and we had to call the store. We called the store and they said they'd look into it, but no one called us back. We had to call to return some of the units and this is where it continues to go down hill from here. This was close to Thanksgiving so you know no one wanted to do anything during the holidays. We were left for weeks with units covering bedroom doors, and when our guests came for Thanksgiving they had to come in the side door of our house because we couldn't open up our front door. We called the store multiple times and no one seemed to have an answer. We even went into the store and they said call this number. Once we called that number they had no answer for us and would say they would call us back. Instead of a live person they would have an AI bot call us back. Finally they picked up the units that were covering our doors, but they promised they would send out other units that would fit the configuration of our room. We had to get rid of 2 unit pieces in order for them to fit in our room. We originally ordered recliners, but now had to get just seating pieces. Now here comes another problem the recliners are more expensive than the seating chairs. We called for a price adjustment and everyone keeps saying that they can't do the adjustment call this number etc. It's getting ridiculous!!!!!!This is going on 5 months now!!!! No one seems to be able to help us and we can't seem to get our money back. read more

Terrible customer service. Purchased a Breeze Tempur-pedic mattress and received the wrong mattress cover twice. In store and live agents were terrible when it came to assistance with getting a replacement. I would not recommended Ashley's Furniture. I decided to take a quick look in the Torrance store to see if they had overhead dining room lights. When I first walked in, an employee approached and asked if I needed help. I said no. He then asked what I was looking for and I said, "Nothing in particular" and moved through the store quickly. I went to the restroom then looked all around the store for overhead lights. They didn't have any so I headed for the door and waved to the employee. He said, "You should have just said you wanted the restroom and not wasted my time." I was shocked and told him I was looking for a dining room light. He basically called me a liar and again said I wasted his time. Purchased a $2700 mattress to have $299 delivery fee added without explanation. Got two free pillows with different firmness without being told and after asked was told to sleep on one and to hug one and I shouldn't complain cause it was free. Then they couldn't confirm a delivery date and was sneaky and decided to deliver the frame on the day I wanted without the mattress. Tried to cancel and they insisted I take the purchase. ZERO STARS! BE WARNED - THEY ARE CROOKS. THIS EMAIL WENT UNANSWERED! I still have not received my new bed frame and it's getting to the point where I need to file a claim. You are aware of the following, along with my friend who was with me the second time that I came into the store. 1) Your co-worker was gossiping about my age, appearance and nationality. He made ugly remarks about my ability to pay for the furniture. He went on to scold you like a child for not closing the deal. I was so overwhelmed and beyond mad to be talked about in such an ugly, racist way. I called you to report this and YOU begged me to come back. I only do so because of your promises. 2) Your manager is a Jester. Dancing around making false promises of a timely delivery, huge discount for my trouble and overall used car salesman mentality. He offered me a cheap painting and made a fool of you, the company and himself. 3) The painting would not work in the space. YOU said I could choose something on sale in the store. What a slap in the face. I am sure the guy that originally gossiped about me was having a belly laugh. I told you that I would only purchase if you could deliver ALL of the pieces a few weeks later. 4 ) 6 weeks later- they deliver a broken frame and screwed the broken pieces in wrong. The left someone else's furniture parts here and left saying we will be back by the end of the day to fix the bed frame. They never showed up and I have been receiving all these new delivery dates for pieces of this bed. I even received one today for a new headboard. Ridiculous!! The headboard was screwed in wrong and I already had someone fix that for the photo shoot. 5) Delivery people showing up at my house without notice or even what they were instructed to do. The same delivery guy was scratching his head and saying yes, I see the side pieces are broken and the screws are not correct. All he said was that it is the wrong Bunkie Board too. I asked him to take the broken bed frame and he said, I can't do that at all. From there it has become a nightmare! I can't get a human to pick up my calls. I have sent hundreds of emails and a voluminous amount of recorded calls to Acima. You took the order - YOU need to get involved and help find someone to actually help me. I will not deal with your crazy manager and his sneaky business practises. Asima is threatening to turn me over to collections which I am fine with because I will send all of this documentation to my creditors and it will be removed. I hired someone to fix the bedframe and put it back together professionally. I sent an email offering $200 dollars for the broken bed frame which is more than fair considering the only piece unbroken was the headboard. The back has several scratches from being screwed together wrong. I was very impressed by you and I hope you can finally help me!! The Mrs. and I bought a couch at Ashley HomeStore and I wanted to wait until it was delivered before writing a review. We arrived at Ashley shortly after noon on January 13th. We were approached by William who was our salesperson throughout or Ashley sales experience. William walked us though the various options in couches, which were many. Most of them were on the lighter side of the color spectrum. I guess that's the new thing now. After a few hours of sitting on various couches and contemplating color schemes, we found the one we were looking for. Fast forward to delivery day, January 20th. Delivery was coordinated via text message. We were given delivery window of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. On the morning of delivery we received a call that about a quarter to 9 letting us know the couch would arrive in 7 minutes. We live in a condo complex and aside from having an HOA to deal with, it is also a gated community. Delivery of ANYTHING is a pain. I was able to intercept the delivery truck and guided them to where to park. The couch was in our condo and the delivery guys were out in 20 minutes. I normally don't write reviews for retail stores but wanted to share my experience based upon some of the negative Yelp reviews for Ashley. William did a great job and we had no issues with delivery. read more
