Took my 94 year old mother to purchase a chair she loved. Liza our "trusted advisor " helped us. She showed us several options and we found the right one. She mentioned several times during the visit "I'll make the price good for you. " The chair was priced higher then mom wanted to pay and Liza stated don't worry about it.. I'll make it right. The chair was priced $459.99. She stated she could give it to mom for $419.99 . I checked their website and THAT was the price on the website so really not a discount at all. She basically stated that they are two different company's because the actual store has to pay electricity?? Hmmm. Mom offered her $400 and she stated we can't do that. I found the chair at several stores and websites cheaper $359.99 and her response was then buy it from them. Mom really wanted the chair for her 94th birthday and Mother's Day and Liza could care less and didn't even approach her manager. We ended up leaving disappointed but I was able to purchase elsewhere for $100 cheaper. This was a win for mom and me but I'm embarrassed for the salesperson who lost a sale even after mom offered her a very good price a lot more than what we ended up paying. Horrible customer experience. Mom loves her new chair purchased from one of their competitors and buyer beware. Do your research. The delivery workers are third party and they don't care how they treat your furniture or house. We had bedroom furniture delivered they damaged our wall and of course they damaged the bed. Broken slats and drawers. Ashley furniture will try to fix the parts even if it takes months to a year to fix. They refuse to replace or refund. You can not get a hold of management nor anyone in America to discuss the poor customer service or get anything replaced. The customer service is worthless and of course not American. A warning. Worst service. Ordered 2 couches at the end of July for my father. Was told by the salesman Jesus Franco that they were in stock. Was also told I would be contacted by someone to set up delivery. When they called to schedule delivery, the couches were back ordered and would not be delivered until oct 4th. The communication is terrible here. I would have gone to another store had they told me the couches were currently on back order. I needed to change my delivery phone number and to do so was told I needed to come in store. When I went into the store yesterday just before 5 pm with my baby in her car seat, 4 salesmen, 1 saleswoman and 1 receptionist flat out ignored me. I was standing at the desk for 2 minutes before I had to ask for help. I was not welcomed. At the desk, they took turns looking my way and never said welcome, one moment, anything. When I finally asked if I was going to be helped, only one salesman apologized. He was the only one who looked like he was actually in the middle of something. The others were all standing at the desk avoiding me on their tablets. I told him I was advised that I needed to come into the store to update a delivery phone number. He motioned to the receptionist and said that she could help me. When I walked over to the receptionist, no hello or anything, went straight into asking me the name on the order. I ordered a light and a nursery rocking chair back in maybe January of this year and was helped by a great salesman. Since then the store has no customer service. You would think making commission would entice them to want to greet a paying customer. Consider going to another store. You'll most likely receive your items faster and at least welcomed upon entering the store. Save yourself a headache. Tried to call the store directly and speak to a manager and could not get through. I kept getting routed to a call center. read more

Do NOT shop at Ashley on Pantano in Tucson!! We purchased an entertainment center, chest of drawers, sofa sleeper and arc lamp from sales associate, Melvin. The sleeper sofa was badly damaged upon delivery, we have yet to receive the arc lamp. They did refund the money for the sofa. However, no lamp and no refund. The delivery was a nightmare! My doorframe, entryway and bedroom, are scratched and will need repainted due to jamming and shoving the sofa into and then back out of my home. I have entered a report to the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Advocates and all social media outlets. I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley Furniture. Honestly only have one star because I liked our sales person he was pretty cool guy. What I want to give 0 stars for is our annoying delivery issue. So when we purchased our rocking recliner the sales guy Eddie confirmed that the 20th would work for us and we set it up for that date. Waited weeks for the delivery and then 4 days before the delivery we get a text to confirm our delivery for today as well as an email to confirm our delivery for today which is 5/20. Now this morning my husband and I both received text messages confirming our delivery for tomorrow 5/21. I then called customer service and asked them what was going on because we were scheduled for delivery today and I wouldn't be able to accept a delivery tomorrow. They turned around and tried to gaslight me saying the only delivery they see is the one scheduled for 5/21 and then I asked to speak with a supervisor. Supervisor also tried to gaslight me and it wasn't until I threatened to write a bad yelp review that suddenly she was able to see that yeah we were scheduled for today so she claimed she was going to call and email over to the warehouse and get my furniture on the truck and someone would call me to tell me what time it would be here. An hour later I get another email stating tomorrow is the day and it says the time they are supposed to be here tomorrow. I already told them I cannot accept a delivery for tomorrow I had to rearrange my sick child's doctors visits and schedule just to be home today. So inconsiderate of you Ashley furniture how dare you mess with and gaslight your customers like that. This is why Sam levitz went out of business. read more

My husband and I went into the store and picked out a couch. We set up delivery for 2 weeks later. When they came with the couch, it was the wrong color. We told the delivery driver this. He told my husband that the light was making the brown couch look grey but it was a brown couch. It was not a brown couch lol. So the driver told us to accept and if we decided we didn't want it, to call the store and let them know and someone would pick it up. My husband called Ashley immediately letting them know we got the wrong color and we wanted someone to pick up the couch. He was told that because we accepted the couch, they wouldn't pick it up. My husband was told the information the delivery driver told us was wrong and we shouldn't have accepted the couch. There was a lot of back and forth and a lot of being told it was our fault. Finally they said they would send someone out to pick it up because they found out the sales person put in the wrong color code. We were then told the couch we wanted was on back order and we would have to wait another month. After a month the couch delivery was delayed again. We called to complain and they offered 5% discount which we never got. In the past we have had good experiences with Ashley. This was not the case this time. We will not be going back. read more

What a joke!! If you absolutely have to shop here buyer beware: 1. The floor sales people are most likely inexperienced, slow, and make mistakes 2. The sales process is ridiculous. The floor sales person looks the item up on a computer. THEN she writes by hand a sales ticket using a hand held calculator to add up the sales total. REALLY?? This ticket is then given to the chick behind the plexiglas to misread the poorly hand written ticket. What a disaster. It took our sales gal an hour to write up a ticket for a few items. 3. Delivery process: - You receive multiple lengthy, confusing texts, emails, and robot phone calls requesting confirmation of a delivery date. One of them indicated if I did not call a number to confirm your delivery would be cancelled. I was left thinking I wouldn't get my delivery. What the hell! - Then, you wait for months because of back-ordered items. I ordered pieces in May and received almost everything in late August. - Here's the comical part: They delivered (3) three times the wrong piece of furniture. After the second attempt, I went to the store and spoke to the store manager Malik who reassured me he would correct the problem. Well, they attempted to deliver me the wrong piece the third time. I ended up cancelling the furniture for a refund. Someone is out to lunch over there. Come in guys and gals...get it together. You wanna sell furniture You gotta revamp your customer service, sales process, and delivery service to 2023. - read more

They completely messed up my order and made me wait weeks for nothing. I came to this store on 07/19, and I had a sales associate that was terrible at his job. He said he hadn't worked for two months and it showed. He completely misentered my order. I got a sofa sleeper with a chaise, I told him that the chaise should be on my left when I'm sitting, and on the right when I stand and look at it. Guess what? They ordered the opposite. Three weeks pass and the Ashley store couldn't even deliver the whole couch, they just brought the opposite side chaise from the one that I ordered! This is completely unacceptable and I will never buy furniture from Ashley again. You need to hire better, smarter sales associates or just train them better. I spent over $1600 just to get the wrong items. That sucks. If Ashley doesn't fix this, I'm canceling the order and getting a couch from Costco. read more

Bought a sofa in Feb, had to order on line as none in store; a salesman told me he has seen the sofa in person and it was as pictured on line; the sofa they delivered is the right sofa, but the color is not. On line it is a brown, the sofa I have is nearly white. Plus some poor workmanship. I called immediately to complain, was told someone would contact me within 72 hours; long story short: I called five different times, I wrote to the head office, I went into the store and spoke to a manager, and never have I received a call back. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General and Ashley never responded to them. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Ashley never responded to them.
