Came in for two night stands, nothing major but still a $500 order. The sales guy was fantastic, Anthony did a great job of letting us browse around until we found something we liked. He took care of all the paperwork, and we set up the delivery for 5 days later. That's where things went sideways. We received a call to confirm delivery for May 4th in the afternoon. No problem. Recieved a text message on May 3 to reconfirm. Yep, still good for the afternoon. May 4th, get an automated call saying the delivery is scheduled to occur in 45 minutes. FANTASTIC! Only half the order shows up. WHAT? Call the store, they say the delivery department should know what happened and transfer me. Delivery department says the warehouse "unreserved" the other table, but it's scheduled for delivery on Sunday. I received no notification of a change and the delivery department says it was the Salesperson's responsibility to notify me. I call bullshit and head to the store. Sure enough, after talking with the sales manager, warehouse was to notify the supervisor who would've contacted the customer. Failure in the communication leads to an angry customer. Horrible customer service. I tried for three days to reach someone on the phone. They never answered their phones. And then when I called customer support at the central number, which of course is overseas, they tried for three days to reach the store and no one answered the phone. Then the customer support people said that Tucson is notorious for not answering their phones. Clearly they do not want business. Unfortunate because I like a lot of things in their store, but if they can't be bothered to answer a phone call, clearly they don't need business. My husband and I went into the store and picked out a couch. We set up delivery for 2 weeks later. When they came with the couch, it was the wrong color. We told the delivery driver this. He told my husband that the light was making the brown couch look grey but it was a brown couch. It was not a brown couch lol. So the driver told us to accept and if we decided we didn't want it, to call the store and let them know and someone would pick it up. My husband called Ashley immediately letting them know we got the wrong color and we wanted someone to pick up the couch. He was told that because we accepted the couch, they wouldn't pick it up. My husband was told the information the delivery driver told us was wrong and we shouldn't have accepted the couch. There was a lot of back and forth and a lot of being told it was our fault. Finally they said they would send someone out to pick it up because they found out the sales person put in the wrong color code. We were then told the couch we wanted was on back order and we would have to wait another month. After a month the couch delivery was delayed again. They completely messed up my order and made me wait weeks for nothing. I came to this store on 07/19, and I had a sales associate that was terrible at his job. He said he hadn't worked for two months and it showed. He completely misentered my order. I got a sofa sleeper with a chaise, I told him that the chaise should be on my left when I'm sitting, and on the right when I stand and look at it. Guess what? They ordered the opposite. Three weeks pass and the Ashley store couldn't even deliver the whole couch, they just brought the opposite side chaise from the one that I ordered! This is completely unacceptable and I will never buy furniture from Ashley again. You need to hire better, smarter sales associates or just train them better. I spent over $1600 just to get the wrong items. That sucks. If Ashley doesn't fix this, I'm canceling the order and getting a couch from Costco. read more

Bought a sofa in Feb, had to order on line as none in store; a salesman told me he has seen the sofa in person and it was as pictured on line; the sofa they delivered is the right sofa, but the color is not. On line it is a brown, the sofa I have is nearly white. Plus some poor workmanship. I called immediately to complain, was told someone would contact me within 72 hours; long story short: I called five different times, I wrote to the head office, I went into the store and spoke to a manager, and never have I received a call back. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General and Ashley never responded to them. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Ashley never responded to them. I can no understand why the reviews are so bad. Let me start off saying that my review HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FURNITURE! My husband and I came in looking to spend some good money on an entitled bedroom set and entire living room set. We walked around a bit and was met by an older lady named Linda. Well everything seemed awesome!! We purchased a kind size bed frame and all the matching goodies for around 3k. She was very happy to help. The next few days we came in and out looking for a couch set and we debated and debated. Linda was extremely pushy about a couch we said multiple times we did not like. Eventually we settled on a couch we didn't really like but wanted one sooner rather than later. Fast forward not even 1 day and we just happened to pop into another store and found one we absolutely loved. To make sure our order from Ashley's was voided, we came to the store and talked to Linda. Her attitude toward us took a 180 and she became very rude, short and unprofessional. We told her we found something somewhere else and needed to have our order voided and a refund issued. She voided the order but about a week later we called to see if there was an update to our bedroom furniture delivery and just wanted to ask about the refund. SHE NEVER PROCESSED IT. Incredibly unprofessional. We were then told she would be contacting us to inform us of our bedroom furniture delivery, guess what!? We have not heard from her. Instead got an email confirmation of delivery. Again my complaint is not against the store but a very unprofessional employee. Saddens me. read more

Mixed feelings about Ashley Homestore. We found great furniture there, but they've been incredibly slow to deliver. Yes, we know about covid, we get it. But how about instead of just making excuse after excuse you take responsibility and don't charge a delivery fee each time you deliver a small part of our order? It's not our fault you can't get everything in at once. We spent thousands of dollars on merchandise, how about if we don't pay $30-$40 each time you deliver something? We've also had trouble getting in touch with our salesperson (I leave messages, but they don't get delivered.) she has started contacting us every Friday, but when I have a question on a Tuesday, I'd love to hear back that day. One delivery, a bar height kitchen table with stools, was delivered damaged. I was told they'd order a new one and replace it when it came in. I've heard nothing about it since. We'll see what happens with that. We're also still waiting on two items from our original order. I doubt we'll shop there again, which is a shame, because we found good quality furniture at reasonable prices. But I just don't want to deal with the hassles and delays. read more

Yes this place has a big furniture showroom, but that's where the positive review stops. I found a nightstand I wanted to purchase. I paid in advance and they stated it would be one month for it to arrive. One month came and went, three months passed, and I finally cancelled my order after nine months waiting for a nightstand. Between those nine months I was contacted once stating it came in. I went to the store and of course that was a false statement. This is not a one time event as a co-worker waited 10 months for a bedroom set. We were in Ashley Furniture in Tucson today to purchase a accent chair. We found one we liked and the Sales person stated it was 10% off the posted price and door drop delivery was $50. I stated the door drop delivery fee of $50 didn't work for me so left. I took a picture of the sales tag and when we got home I looked it up on the Ashley Website. I found out according to The Ashley website they had the wrong part number and price on the store tag. The price tag was $10 higher than the Ashley website and door drop was free on Ashley Website. I ordered the chair from the Ashley Website with the same delivery date and saved $30. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! AFTER THREE MONTHS, THEY CANCELED OUR ORDER - WITHOUT NOTIFICATION - ON THE DAY IT WAS DUE TO BE DELIVERED. It was bad enough when we ordered our furniture on November 21, 2023 and they didn't inform us that there could be a delivery delay. In December when we called to check, they claimed that we had signed paperwork acknowledging a potential delay - when I informed him that we had not, he checked and confirmed there was no such paper and we had in fact not been informed of any potential delay (they didn't care -- they just wanted the sale, amirite?). Basically we were told we could wait or cancel (no offer for any relief, such as a partial refund given they dropped the ball). We said we'd wait. Fast forward three months from the order date to about a week/10 days ago (about February 20, 2024) and I get a call to schedule delivery -- they specifically said they already had the couch and love seat in hand but had been waiting for the coffee table/ottoman to arrive for delivery to the house. We scheduled delivery for today (February 28, 2024). It never arrived, so I called the store numerous times - they refused to answer the phone at all. I finally drove to the store in the rain only to be told that the order had been canceled, the couch and love seat discontinued, I was out of luck, and they were sorry. I asked to speak to the manager, and the "lady" at the desk said she was the operations manager for the store. By now I'm heated (three months wait, then they -- again WITHOUT NOTIFYING US -- canceled the order on their end on the day it was to be delivered). She claimed that the problem was that I had placed the order before corporate Ashley bought the store from Sam Levitz and that my problem was with them (never mind that I walked in under the Ashley sign and purchased it on the Ashley side, not the Sam's side, of the store). I called Sam Levitz and they told me that Ashley had pulled the order back to their store. So somebody, perhaps both, is lying to me somewhere, and I'm fairly confidant that Ashley's is lying. Again, when they called to arrange delivery, the said the already had the couch and love seat. So basically, they apparently had no plan in place for what to do for orders that straddled the change in ownership. The so-called "operations manager" made no attempt to help us at all. Needless to say, we will never darken an Ashley's door, and I am going to be filing a formal complaint with corporate Ashley's as soon as I can get the contact information I need, even if it has to go all the way up to the CEO. Was told it was on backorder so late January or early February. When I called early February I was told it is now late February. Then I get a call that it is now late March. The sales people: worse than a used car lot, from the second you walk in they bombard you asking if you want a "good deal." Have you ever been to a touristy place in Mexico where the kids run around trying to sell you "chicle?" Incredibly similar vibes. Curiously, they all carry tablets; the curious part is that when you decide to buy something, they bustle off to their manager to "run the deal buy him." Our sales person came back about 30 minutes later with a handwritten invoice as he hurried us to the cashier trying to sell us a credit card on the way. When I stopped him, to ask why the price had increased $800 from the advertised price on the display, he looked embarrassed and said he had to go speak to his manager again. Another 30 minutes later he came back with a different handwritten invoice for the advertised price. At that point we were so annoyed we left and sadly made the choice to come back the next weekend. Tread, lightly as they will try to bait and switch you too. I still am perplexed at the reason they all have tablets if they hand write invoices other than to rip you off. And to make matters more annoying, once you try to check out they take you to the one "cashier" in the entire god forsaken store where you will wait another half hour for them to try to upsell you on warranties, services plans, and yes.... over priced pillows. Honestly embarrassed I went through with the purchase but I think I was so frustrated that with the hours of my life I had wasted in this dump that I felt I needed to leave with something in hand to justify the massive was of time. 2. The Quality: GARBAGE. On first delivery of the bedroom set - the delivery men refused to remove our old furniture as the sales person had promised. Then, when they realized the bedframe was missing a piece, they left the half constructed frame in the middle of the room and promtly left telling me someone would call me. Noone ever did, I spent several more hours on the phone trying to procure a full bedframe. But wait, it gets worse! The bedside table we bought made out of aesthetically appealing mango wood was infested with, we found out a month later, BORE BEETLES!!!!! They eat through the furniture and leave saw dust, similar to termites. And if you are lucky, they might infest your entire house! Apparently the treatment is fumigation - THANKS Ashley. 3. The customer service: hard to believe, but worse than 1 & 2 above. Three times I called their "customer service line" only to have their outsourced call center tell me they couldnt find my invoice number....convenient right? When they tried to transfer me to the store three times... you guessed it - no answer! Clearly because their employees are too busy running around trying to rip people off to have time to actually help someone. Out of frustration I went back to the store in person this last week and after spending another 30 minutes in line waiting for the only cashier in the god forsaken place, I was told she found my invoice and would send an email to "corporate" and someone would get back to me. She refused to give me the invoice number so I could try to trouble shoot on my own with customer service, refused to copy me on the email, or give me a number to call corporate. But I was reassured a "technician" would be sent to my house to assess the furniture. One week later, as I am sure you can imagine. STILL NO CALL! The long and short: save your self the time, the money, the self respect, and the infestation of bugs at your house, and drive to Mesa and buy some furniture at Ikea - you will not regret it and you will thank me later. read more

My husband and I went to Ashley in Tucson today. We had been to several furniture stores over the last couple of days and were very tired of pushy sales people following us around the stores. Upon arriving at Ashley's, we were nicely greeted by Michael O'Connor. He was pleasant but not overbearing, he didn't follow us around, just let us know about the sales and that he was there to answer any questions we had. He stayed true to his word and helped us answer the many questions we had. His great sense of humor helped alleviate the stress of buying new furniture. We left feeling great about purchasing our new living room furniture and bed. This company has a reputation for continously lying. On numerous occasions they assure you that the delivery date that was setup will go as planned. Then a week before your expected delivery date they call and say that the delivery date will need to be pushed back another 2 weeks do to production issues. This has happened on numerous occasions. I know shame on me for returning after this had happened in a prior experience. I just figured that they would have corrected these issues after several years. We purchased a dinning table from Ashley 2 weeks ago. It was missing a support arm and was damaged. We immediately called and informed them of the issue and they said they would call within 24-48 hrs. 4 days later we called them again asking for them to return the item. Instead they ordered the missing part even after we informed them we were returning the item. We've called numerous times and informed them we want the item returned and have yet to receive a call.
