I had such a great experience at this location. I called before I went in to make sure they had what I was looking for. The young lady Tamika Parker that answered the phone went above and beyond to help find answers to all of my annoying questions. She(Tamika)even found a sales rep to assist me for when I came in. She gave me her name and the salesman name. Once I showed up which was hours later they were welcoming. I asked for Tamika and she greeted me and knew who I was. Told me to give her a moment and headed back to go get Kalvin Carter which was the salesman. Once Kalvin walked up I found out Tamika had looked up the bedroom set and showed it to Kalvin. So once Kalvin found out what I was looking for he went onto the floor and found the display. Once I arrived he escorted me directly over to the bed, we worked out a price and Kalvin let me drag him thru the store while I figured out if I was going to buy something else. Lol. Kalvin even stayed until I was almost done with my financing and it was time for him to get off. Also the guy who helped me with my financing was wonderful as well. I can not remember his name but he works for Acceptance now and he is great. I had the best time spending my money in this store. Lol. Whomever hired and trained this staff did a great job. They are professional, knowledgeable and personable. This was such a relief from when we went into the capital heights store. My husband went into that location in his military uniform to purchase the same bed. The receptionist was rude. The sales guy had no clue what he was doing, he showed the wrong furniture and he lied about the prices. When we complained to the store manager he was rude and unprofessional. So we cancelled the whole order. That store needs to fire their whole staff of just close all together. So with all of this being said. People please take my advice and do not step foot in the capital heights store if you care about customer service. Head over to the waldorf location and you will enjoy your experience. read more

This is my first time working with with Ashley's. First, I want to thanks Dylan at the Waldorf, MD store for his workmanship and honesty during this furniture buying process. I shopped around at 5 other competitor stores before coming to Ashley's. I had a look in mind but was not able to get that point across to other salesman at other stores. Dylan went above and beyond to make recommendations and meet my tight deadlines for delivery. At first the sets I wanted was out of stock and would take months to be delivered. Dylan took what he knew I wanted and located a bedroom, dining room and kitchen set that I loved. The main room I wanted to complete was the family room. Every set I wanted with a specific color due to my hardwood floors were not in stock. Dylan knew my reserve to purchase knowing I stated in the beginning the family room was the most important. Not happy with the price for all the other rooms, Dylan reached out to his manager to see if they could make a set on the floor available to sell due to the stocking issues of the company. Not only did he get the set that I wanted, he added a chair to complete the set. The price was unbelievable. Dylan made everything work out in the end. I can honestly say my price tag of over 14K list price was cut in half. The colors match, the size of the furniture is perfect for space in my new home, and the prices and customer service was unbelievable. Did I mention I got the premium furniture line. This was the higher quality and material pieces. If you are looking to get a cheap deal, rushed service and low end furniture then go to Bob's or other competitors. If you want a great deal, great customer service, high end furniture. and great selections go see Dylan at Ashley's in Waldorf. I plan to do future business with Dylan in 2 of my other properties. I had actually picked out another sectional from Ashley Furniture during Black Friday weekend. After doing research for pricing on the internet I and my husband went after Christmas to purchase. My husband who did not go with me to see the sectional back in November immediately disliked it upon viewing it in person. That's when Charles Richardson stepped in and saved the day. My husband's main concern with the sectional I picked out was that it set too low to the ground. Since Charles knew I had my heart set on the sectional I picked out he told us about leg extensions that would lift the sectional up to the height I wanted available at a home improvement store. I was good to go with that option but my husband concerned for my comfort wanted to look around. Charles was great he let us view three sectionals that fit the criteria of height. Then after letting us roam the store to try the sectionals ourselves he left us alone to make a thoughtful decision. The sectional we decided on not only was more expensive but was much larger than the one I previously looked at. Charles was able to give us a longer financing term and discounted the warranty at half the price that gave us a great payment plan for our budget. The purchasing process was not intimidating at all especially getting approved for finance. Happy with our store experience I was worried that even though Charles said delivery would take 2 -6 weeks that we might not actually receive the sectional in that time frame. The sectional came on time with no delay and the furniture look great! Though I am happy with our financing agreement I would have to say I don't like that the financing is actually a credit card but at 0% interest I can't complain. read more

Recently I bought a home and decided it was time to update furniture for the first time. I'd heard good things about Ashley's products and they definitely surpassed my standards on quality. However, one of the most surprising aspects of the Waldorf store was its staff. I walked into the store and was immediately greeted by Christine with a smile. I just wanted to browse and she gave me space to view their products until I found something that caught my eye. She explained differences in material types, different price points and customization of bedroom sets. The next day I'd made up my mind to buy a set. I was able to contact Christine, set up a time to come in and discuss the payment plan and financing, delivery and being able to have it set up around my busy schedule. All that she was capably able to manage with ease. After filling out a quick 5 minute financing application I was directed to miss Rula Ahmad. She worked at the customer service desk and was a friendly face to a nervous first time experience. She was able to customize my payment plan, informed me about their return policy and fixed an error in my address information that would have sent the furniture I ordered somewhere else. Before accepting my down payment she also double checked that all information was accurate and provided a welcome addition to the service team helping an inexperienced customer. All the employees I met today were friendly, smiling, happy to be of service and shook my hand before leaving. A very good experience all around and would recommend to any first time customers based on level of knowledge and great customer service received compared to visits to other companies. read more

I went to the Waldorf location a couple of weeks ago to window shop for furniture because Im going to be moving in a couple of months. As I entered the building I was greeted by the smiling face of Herby T. He introduced himself, informed me of the current promotion which was the Presidents Day sale, and he let me know that if I needed anything or had any questions he was there for me. As I went throughout the store, periodically Herby would check on me. Before I left the store, he made sure that I had his business card. I left feeling very important and that he cared about my needs. A week or so later, I lost Herby's business card and tried to contact him at the store but was unsuccessful. I returned to the store the weekend before the Presidents Day sale was to end. As I drove up I saw Herby walking across the street. I spoke to him through the window. As I entered the building I made it a point to find him. I let him know what I was looking for and the budget that I wanted to stay in and he immediately started helping me. He made wonderful suggestions and answered all of my questions. Herby was very pleasant, never pushy and made me feel important. Completely UNEXPECTED experience with INCREDIBLE customer service. I purchased my first couch ever a few weeks ago and definitely plan to go back. The main manager, Mr. Mac, as well as Mr. Shae & Mr. David helped and stayed with me basically the entire time and literally helped me weigh the pros and cons of each couch I tried out. They were patient & never once tried to convince me to get something that wasn't me or that I couldn't afford. If I needed time to think about an item, they also didn't hover and gave me whatever time I needed. I always believed that Ashley was overpriced and was actually against shopping there. But, after walking past it 3 times, I found my couch and couldn't let go, even though I knew I couldn't afford it with student loans, etc. These 3 gentlemen listened to my story and did whatever they could to make it affordable...even after I went back and forth for over an hour trying to decide..I never felt pressured, but that they had empathy and somehow understood what it felt like to purchase your first major piece of furniture for your home. I left there feeling relaxed and FAR from depleted. Needless to say, I have a new impression of Ashley Furniture and guarantee that that I'll be back. read more

We went to Askley II in Waldorf to look at examples of office chairs. We were greeted by salesperson Nancy (assistant store manager), who advised she was available to answer any questions and feel free to browse the store. While browsing a reclining living room set came to our attention. We had been contemplating updating our living room set and asked Nancy to assist us with some questions and pricing. Nancy was more than knowledgeable about the product and negotiated a lower sale price. We made the purchase and upon arriving home found the set online at a lower price. We contacted Nancy and advised her that we had an issue with our purchase and would be responding back to discuss the issue. Nancy again greeted us, and we discussed the lower online price to review our options. Nancy introduced Mike (store manager) and we discussed the lower found pricing. Mike a telephone call or two and a refund was made on our original purchase to equal the lower online price. Darn never did look at the office chairs. From the time I walked in the doors until I left after making my purchase I was treated great!. The staff and management team works quite well together. I went in search of a new sofa for my home. I found one I liked online but couldn't make a decision until I saw it. I really wasn't sure what to expect at the time and needed to satisfy my own curiosity and peace of mind. I do not believe in the hard sales tactic when making a purchase. Thankfully, that never happened. I was greeted with a friendly smile and an offer to help if I had any questions. As a result, I was able to roam freely so I could look at all they could offer me. Then, when I was ready, I found the charming woman who I met at the door. Her name is Claudine. She helped to answer any and all questions, assisted with all of the particulars related to such purchases. (Dimensions, Availablity, Shipping, etc. ...) I was impressed all the way around. I wish more sales people were like her. They could learn a few things and, more than likely, make more sales in the process! I had an very good experience at Ashley furniture in Waldorf. As with any furniture store a salesman engaged my family and I as we entered the store. This salesman was Herby. He went through the deals, asked us what we were looking for and let us know where different pieces were in the store. Unlike other furniture stores he was not pushy and only checked in on us a couple times and when he did only asked if we had questions. When we did have questions he was able to answer them effectively. When we were ready to choose he was very transparent in the negotiating phase. When we got to the payment part, Shiaka was quick but without any negative effects. She was very clear what to expect in timeframe of the furniture arriving to what to do if there was an issue with delivery and why it was important to do it in a specific way. Delivery and set up of my furniture went quickly and without snags and the crew was very patient with the inspection of the furniture and helped with that phase as well. I visited the new Ashley Furniture Home Store in Waldorf today. Upon entering my sister and I were immediately greeted by LaSonja, one of the many associates on the floor. She readily let us know of the furniture deals and gave us info on looking for bedroom sets. She didn't hound us the entire time, but checked on us regularly to ensure we were okay. I finally settled on 3 different sets and she was kind enough to work up the numbers for all three. After a couple of hours, I settled on the bed frame/headboard of one set and the dressers and night stands of the other set. During the purchase, the 3rd bedroom set was incorrectly placed on the invoice, however, LaSonja and Skip both fixed the problem right away. I was extremely happy with my purchase and with the customer service I received from the two of them!!! Also, the associate who processed the purchase and the office manager were both very nice and supportive!!! I will be going back again. On my first visit there to look for a dining room set, DeMorris was very helpful and patient with me. We must have looked at everyone set in the store and he never made me feel like he was over the fact that I couldn't make up my mind. I made a second visit there and Sascha W. was extremely polite and friendly when I entered the store. I ended up being helped by Rula and I have to give both she and Tamika a double thumbs up for their help. When I couldn't find what I wanted on the showroom floor, Rula checked the catalog. When she discovered the item was discontinued, she went quickly to the storage /warehouse area and looked around until she found what I wanted - now that's customer service. She and Tamika even took it out of the wrappings to make sure that the item was alright before I left. I can't leave out the store manager who made my purchase all happen by giving me a good deal. We had an excellent experience. Our salesperson Kalvin did not stalk us around the store but was available to answer questions. We purchased a sofa and loveseat and were very happy with the price. Tamika was very efficient in writing up our sale and she was able to schedule a delivery on the following Saturday which was perfect for us. The day before delivery we were notified they would arrive between 8-noon on Saturday. The delivery team called us at 7:30 a.m. Saturday and said they would arrive in 1/2 hour. They actually arrived in 25 minutes and were very efficient in unpacking and setting up our furniture in less than 10 minutes. Immediately after they left we received a call from Ashley furniture to make sure everything was okay and we were satisfied with our purchase. Everyone we worked with was friendly and courteous. We are enjoying our new furniture and we will definitely shop there again. read more

Our shopping adventure at the Waldorf, MD store for a kid's bedroom grouping, especially, our experience with finalizing the purchase at the service desk was superb. The customer service from the cashier at the Waldorf location was extremely professional. We were impressed as to how cheerful she was making it easy to establish a rapport. Additionally, she carefully reviewed or purchase selections with us, even showed the online pictures of the store items we had selected for purchase to ensure the skew/item numbers entered, in the database, accurately matched/reflected our selection(s). To our surprise, this individual even personally volunteered to track our purchase in order to notify us of how close the merchandise was to an anticipated delivery within the projected delivery timeframe (2- 6 weeks). After shopping around at 3 other furniture stores, I was exhausted and flustered by the rudeness and attitudes and was ready to just give up and go home. When I decided to go in to Ashley, I actually had a great shopping experience on Saturday, March 3, 2018. DeMorris Young was my salesperson and he was very helpful, respectful and NOT pushy at all. After looking around at a few different living room sets I found one that I absolutely loved! The price was a little too much for what I was looking to spend so I quoted a price to DeMorris, he worked up some numbers, went and spoke to a manager and they gave me that price. Thank you DeMorris and to the rest of the staff that helped me get what I wanted at the price I could afford. Now I just hope I don't have trouble with my delivery. They told me 2-6 weeks, so I guess I will keep up on it. read more

I couldn't be happier with the service I received at Ashley's today. I can't say enough about Des'Jona, the sales person I was so lucky to have met. She was exactly who I needed to confirm my purchase decisions and give me information about the products I was buying. She was so patient with me unlike at many other stores where sales people get frustrated when I am indecisive. She took her time to help me choose between items and look up pricing. I normally wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket as they say but Des'Jona made me feel comfortable buying all my furniture from the same place and I was happy to give my money to Ashley's today because of her. I recently visited Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Waldorf, Maryland to inform them about the wrong reclining sofa being delivered to my home. When I arrived, Monique, greeted me and was well aware of my situation as we had already spoken on the phone. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist was much appreciated. I had waited weeks for the delivery and to get the wrong piece was frustrating. Monique didn't allow my frustration to disrupt her excellent customer service. She followed me to the section where the correct sofa was located, updated my information to reflect the new sofa and called her manager up to get me a discounted price. Monique, you are awesome and deserving of the praise. I hope she is rewarded for her professionalism in a tangible way. By far one of the best customer service experiences we have EVER had! After a very long day of furniture shopping, Ms. Vanessa was a breath of fresh air and a true gem. Her kindness, warmth, extensive knowledge of their products, and her attention to our needs and the small details spoke volumes. But what stood out was the way she took her time and care with us!! We arrived at the store after 8:20pm and left after the store closed. She and Shiaka never once rushed us nor did they make us feel like we were an inconvenience!! These women were beyond warm and beyond friendly. These women weren't just focused on the sell, they took their time with our order and ensured we knew the Ashley experience was unique in a great way because of their service and great products. Best furniture shopping experience! I usually don't like furniture stores or the sales people, but Ashley's in Waldorf is the exception. The sales people were courteous, attentive and knowledgeable. They stayed later than they had to and extended themselves above and beyond 'sales'. By that I mean they were customer service professionals. Skip, the manager and his team were not about the 'pressure sale', they listened to our needs and found a quality product, then worked out our sale in a way that fit us best. Most important, they did it while explaining the options honestly, instead of doing it in a condescending manner, like you should know how 'their' company's policies work. I had the most memorable experience with Lezlye at Ashley Furniture in Waldorf, Maryland. I recently moved and came into the Waldorf location unsure of which room in my house I wanted to get furniture for. Lezlye was very patient and explained to me my financial options as well as gave me a few minutes to think about which route I wanted to go with in terms of furniture. After my experience with her 2 days ago I would definitely be coming back to conduct my future furniture purchases with her. She wasn't pushy and quick to make a sale at all. She carefully listened to what I was looking for. Skip Chmielewski the sales manager was very pleasant as well.
