Do NOT buy from this store! The manager has zero customer service skills!!! My mother bought a bar chair from this store and it was delivered with mismatched parts. She bought just one because my father has Parkinson's and it will make it easier to get him dressed. While visiting my parents my mom told me about the issue with the chair so we took it back to the store only to be rudely told no we need to take it to Brandon (30 minutes south) to the warehouse and also showed me a number to call. He acted as though we were to blame for getting mismatched furniture pieces and we were interrupting his day. FYI, we did drive to Brandon and I did call the number....I called when we left this store and when we were at the entrance to the warehouse(30 minutes away) I finally got a person on the phone. Only then did things turn around with better customer service. I will be reviewing the warehouse as well. It will be separate because the warehouse is awesome with amazing people. So I will advise to NEVER buy from the Wesley Chapel location!!!!!! If you do and have issues they will not help!!! Don't buy their warranties unless you're short on toilet paper. Worthless. We bought a recliner that came apart at the seems within one year, but the warranty does not cover "wear and tear ", thus doesn't cover poorly made furniture. I threw a $500 recliner in the dumpster. read more

I intentionally waited until my living room set arrived before doing this review. Today our furniture was delivered and I must say that it was a job well done. In and out in about 15 - 20 minutes with set up and all. From the purchase (04/12/2021) experience to the delivery everything was excellent. It had to be for me to give a five star review! The five star review reflect my being kept informed of when the furniture would arrive - even sent me an email so I could track the delivery truck. I must say that I was a little hesitant to shop at Ashley based on some previous reviews. However, I had a fantastic experience when I visited the store and interacted with an associate named "Hind;" whom I would like to thank for handling all my queries before making a final decision of buying the furniture. Her professional attitude of dealing with customers deserves recognition. I once again would like to express my gratitude of thanks for giving me such fantastic customer service. On another note, after the set up of our love seat and couch we noticed that two silver studs were missing along the corner of the love seat. Purchased a sofa, recliner, and 'chair and a half'. Let me preface this by saying I live alone and am rarely home. The 'chair and a half' looked like it was 10 years old after 8 months. The cushioning in the back of the chair has sunk to the bottom. The sofa is doing the same thing. The chair which was sold as leather is so worn it is now obvious that this was vinyl and NOT leather. I have been an Ashley's customer since 2004. Most of the times I have purchased items it was fluid and friendly overall. Recently, I decided to purchase more furniture for my new home and of course the first place I thought of was Ashley's. The store recently extended my credit line. I purchased a dining room table with a leather bench. The sales person updated my information in the system (Phone number and address) for my new home and cell. Being that I was in the process of moving during the holiday season she ensured that my information was solid and that I would receive a delivery phone call. My delivery date(s) were set and ready to go. On the delivery date I took off of work and waited for the delivery phone call. No call ... so I called the Ashley's store and asked the representative what time I should expect the delivery. She stated "We have been trying to get a hold of you and you haven't returned any of our phone calls so you won't be getting a delivery today." I was extremely upset. I stated "I haven't received any missed calls or voice messages, what number do you have for my point of contact?" I asked her. She responded and it was the wrong information. I informed the representative that I updated my information in the store with a sales associate. The representative responded with "I don't know what to tell you ... that's not what we have." Still calm I asked when would the soonest be to have my purchase? She replied "Jan 3rd." This was an issue because of the family and friends I had planned on coming to a house warming which I planned to have my purchase. I decided to go to the Ashley's store to see if I could speak with the sales associate that put my information in the system wrong. She was there and I explained to her what had happened. "Well, we can have it delivered today for the inconvenience we will take off the delivery charge and you can pay that out of pocket." She stated. I told her that wasn't going to work for me. Being that she put my information in the system wrong the delivery charge should be waived. She replied "All you have to do is pay the delivery guys, that's fair." I was shocked and confused on why I had to pay the delivery fee at all, I supplied all the correct information. Long story longer, the sales person looked at me and said "I don't understand why you are so upset, we can deliver it today you only have to pay the delivery fee." I looked at the sales person and told her that I wasn't happy with the fact that she didn't admit that she put my information in the system wrong or didn't save it. I calmly told her to cancel my entire order. My entire order included: a Beauty Rest Mattress, King Bedroom set and dining room set with a leather bench. Horrible place to buy your furniture. I spent over $5k and I will never go back to this place again. First off...I was promised a 3 day delivery...never happened. After the sale was made my sales associate James said they wont have it for about a week and it would have to be made in 2 different deliveries. Well it took 3 deliveries and over 2 weeks to a month! Last delivery of my TV stand, the kid who made the delivery wanted to quickly get in and out...didnt mound the shelves...went to do it myself and it was damaged. No wonder why he wanted to sneak out. I wanted to return everything at that point and there are no returns! They then sent a person to my house five more times and they did not fix it! I spent about 8k on furniture from here and it is all cheap broken junk. If you buy from here and the product comes through your door, you are stuck with it. We've purchased from this same store twice and it was the same story both times. I will never buy from Them again. Basically, they schedule their "premium" delivery during one of your work days, so you have to take the day off, and then they miss the delivery. I don't just mean the delivery time window, but the entire delivery date. When trying to call the store, they don't pick up for hours at a time. When they finally pick up, they promise to call you back and fail to do so. The only reason why we're putting up with this is because they happen to carry the perfect couch for us. Otherwise, we'd be taking our business elsewhere. You'd have a better purchasing experience at Walmart. This is trash. read more

I have been here a few times since it is quite close to home. It is in the vicinity of Haverty's, Rooms to Go, and two furniture consignment stores. This was a nice relaxing environment at this Ashley, and Lynne was quite helpful. She answered all of our questions, she was not overly salesly, and let us know that they did have financing available. We found a sectional and chaise with ottoman at a great price. We were big time shoppers and we knew for sure we got a great deal on our comfy couch that had all that we wanted, soft texture, good size, and a color with pillows that popped. Our delivery date was set for 2 weeks later, which happened to be this past Saturday. In the meantime during the week of our expected delivery, we got phone calls to confirm our deliveries as well as let us know our time period of when they would delivery. The morning of our delivery, we got several phone calls to update us where they were at. That was very much appreciated especially since we did not want to have our Saturday sitting around the house waiting for them. The delivery guys came, and were thoroughly professional. They brought our furniture up to the second floor with ease, made sure to assemble them with the legs and set them in their place. Very nice and easy. Zero stars...Avoid this place like the plague. I have had nothing but horrible experiences with Ashley. I purchased a mattress and an adjustable base approximately August/September 2021. I explained that my house was partially under construction due to water damage and will not be ready for setup. Nevertheless, the platform was delivered. I was able to put it in a secure location. A couple of months passed and the mattress was delivered. I told one of the delivery guys that the mattress could not be set up at that time. He proceeds to tell me that I could call anytime and they would set it up because I paid for the service and I am entitled to it. Fast forward to May 2022, I contacted the Ashley/City Furniture number on my bill to schedule the setup. I was told by a young lady, that she thinks too much time had gone by and did not think they would honor the setup but she would talk to a superior and get back to me. She called me back and told me that they would not send anyone back to my house to set up the mattress or base. My husband called several days after and spoke with the corporate office and he was told that the previous person gave erroneous information and that they would definitely come out to set up the mattress and base. They said to look out for an email to confirm. A few days passed by with no email. My husband called today to follow up and they completely reverted back to the original sentiment that too long of a duration of time had passed so they would not honor the setup. They claim that they will credit the $200.00 spent for the service. I will not hold my breath considering their track record and the fact that it was financed through Synchrony. This is their M.O. They give out conflicting and inaccurate information. They employ people who are grossly uninformed and unprofessional. This situation is nothing compared to my prior dealings with them. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a sofa chaise piece from this store. It was my first time in the store as well as purchasing anything from this company. My store experience was great however since my purchase, I have had a lot of issues that no one seems to care about. My couch was delivered on March 7, on March 10 I realized it had a defective bar causing me not to be able to utilize the couch to its full capacity since it was defective and broken. I reported it to customer care on 3/10, sent pictures and everything. I was told the only thing they could do was send a technician out to evaluate the situation. They finally sent a tech on March 27 Who took pictures of the same thing that I originally sent my pictures back in the beginning of March. Then I was told I have to wait for the part to come to my house which should be about 7 to 10 business days, then once I receive that part, I would need to contact the customer care number again in order to set up an appointment. I called for an appointment which was told I would have an appointment April 24, this is really so unreasonable and absolutely disgusting that I have been treated like this and then I also have to wait so long for an item that was delivered effective. Horrible resolutions Here I am over a month with a couch that I paid over $800 for delivered that I have not been able to use since delivery. I have called the 1800 number I have called the store, I even reached out to corporate headquarters, no one cares. It's like they have my money, and that's all that matters. Forget delivering the promise of money for usable furniture. This is my first and last purchase for this company. I really advise anyone avoid this place at all cost. All I wanted was a new couch to use, and I've had so much aggravation and have been treated so poorly, I really wish that I went somewhere else. My daughter had a great experience at this store so when we needed new furniture for our condo this was our first choice. I worked with David B., very professional and knowledgeable. I had some changes as our measurements were off the first time and he helped me make new choices, never felt like I put him out with my many changes. He has a great eye for color combinations. I really appreciate his patience. Then on day of delivery, Julio and Areio were excellent. They were very cautious with taking the furniture up two flights of stairs. WESLEY CHAPEL FL. so many things went wrong that I would never return. I'll just list them and you can decide. 1. initial salesman uneducated on delay delivery since we were moving (not a big deal but we received incorrect information about the delivery process) 2. we paid our deposit to hold the furniture (so we assumed) and wait on delivery until we took possession of our new home in 2 weeks. However, I received a voice mail 4 days later that our furniture was being delivered the following day. which would have been a nice surprise if we actually lived in Tampa but we did not even own this home yet so it involved a 20-30 minute on hold transferred around phone call. 3. after moving we went in to the store to set up the financing and were told that the delivery would be in a couple weeks (instead of the initially arranged date) and when asked why, we were told that they don't arrange delivery until it's paid for. when asked why then were they going to deliver it the week before we even moved, Ashley rep. has no idea. 4. Then after charging my credit card (decided to skip the financing) we were informed that the furniture was no longer available. Not being made. None in warehouse. So to "make this right" they "let" me buy the floor model. A second salesperson arranged that to happen and it was 40% off instead of the black friday 25% HOWEVER they charged me full price for the $499 lamp instead of the original 25% off which i didn't notice because she was so excited she only showed me the pricing on the sofa set 5. Lamp had to be shipped. was obviously an open box. the packaging was in pieces and a missing part. The problem was a part was missing to hold one of the shades in. Instead of dealing with Ashley home store again I just ordered the part on Amazon and took care of it myself. NOT appropriate . they NEVER asked if they could send a used lamp. completely ridiculous. and NO i didn't bother to call "customer service" . why would I when Ashley HOme store has failed with every transaction at this point? read more

We have had it since 12/22/18 , everything was fine until the one time we needed the covered we paid thousands of dollars for to be used at any time they say , you call and we have been on hold for the mechanism that operates are power recliner we were told that there is a numerous amount that use the same exact mechanism to operate leather power recliner's that we could use , yet when we call it is taking us from January of last year 2019 , and we just called today for someone to send us the mechanism again said we will call you in a week with feed back on where the parts are !!!! Actual customer service while in the store was great. However, when it came to delivery and set up it was a nightmare! The delivery men came during the assigned time frame (Friday May 26 between 1-5). The problem was there was a missing piece and it took 4 separate trips and 2 days for this to be resolved. Each time the wrong piece was brought back to complete the set up and it was an inconvenience to ensure I was home for this to occur. I had company and expected everything to be done when expected. The mis communication between manager and delivery men and warehouse was ridiculous. If you expect your furniture to be available and in your home when they say it will be, DO NOT USE Ashley Furniture. Because of our close proximity to the warehouse we decided to pick up our own rather than pay for delivery. This would have been great expect when we arrived on Friday morning, we were informed 1/3 of the couch was on back order due to damage during shipping to the warehouse. Understandable. However we then had to argue for free delivery for their mistake. Should I really have to go out of my way or pay a high delivery fee (to go less than a mile - literally) to make up for your mistake. I don't think so. Once it was agreed that the delivery would be free and it would arrive the following Monday, I wasn't completely happy, but it was at least a reasonable situation. The real problem arrived when their 7am delivery time turned into 9:30 AND it was missing the motor for the power recline which we were told could be sent by UPS and it would arrive in the next couple days. This late delivery made my husband 2 hours late for work. The best thing customer service could offer was a $100 gift card to the store. Which we declined because nothing in that store is even close to $100 and we have no plans to spend another dime at Ashley Furniture after the disrespect they treated us with. We love the couch and had plans to buy other furniture pieces over the coming year for our new home, but after spending nearly $3,000 on it I would expect a little more respect to rectify all of their delivery mistakes. Aaron Mosberg made our experience exceptional. Aaron is extremely personable, not at all high pressure and dare I say fun!!!! It was exclusively because of Aaron that I made a purchase (sofa and chair and a half and ottoman) and it will be because of Aaron that I will purchase more in the future.
