I have been a loyal Ashley's customer for over 10 year but will never shop there again. We bought 4 chairs and noticed after delivery that the cushions on 2 of them were different. After spending weeks going back and forth finally the GM Ethan said the best he could do is a credit and a 140 restocking fee. They expected us to pay for something that we didnt pick? I said that I would need to get the other 2 reupholstered and asked for a credit but they said no. The chair that we sat on in the store we only got 2 of them. The other 2 were less comfortable. We wouldn't have bought them if we sat on those terrible cushion. Horrible customer service and would recommend saving your money and going to other furniture stores. I know I will. No longer going to be a custom to this place all because of bad service and 140. Hope you are happy Ashley's. Do better! read more

I began shopping with a very helpful salesman. I was looking for a sleeper sofa and loveseat with firm support. Unfortunately because of the current situation, the set I selected took 7 months to get delivered. I paid an additional $180 for delivery and they do not remove any old furniture. After 2 weeks, the sofa began to sag. I was able to get a company repairman out to look at the cushions, structure and condition of the sofas. He was extremely knowledgeable and stated the loveseat was made with a 'trampoline' style seating, no support. The sleeper has an 6 inch gap btw the mattress and armrests which causes sagging. He did suggest I purchase seating support or place plywood under the cushions for additional support. No additional assistance from the company, no refunds, rebate or cash discount. I would not recommend shopping here. read more

In store, sales ppl are helpful and pleasant, but once purchasing is when the problems begin. We purchased a beautiful bedroom set (entire set) from here. Delivery men sloppily put it together... screws missing, furniture scratched up. We called Ashley and they had a guy come out, but replacement parts needed to be ordered. We kept having issues with drawers likely because they were not properly installed. Eventually Ashley furniture became less and less helpful and we gave up calling. Still not convinced of the stability or structure of our bed. We also had problems with the financial institution they use. Their website was giving us trouble with payment. Whoever we spoke to was really nasty and unprofessional... basically told us we were lying about thr site giving us problems and would not waive the late fee despite us paying on time ALWAYS! I have literally never had a problem like this with a financial institution. Staying away from Ashley furniture and Wells Fargo in the future. Literally an ongoing negative experience since we received the furniture. Cannot wait to pay it off to be done with these awful people. read more

I ordered a set of tables in February. After numerous calls to the store and asking to talk to a manager it is now mid may and my tables still have not arrived yet. When I call the store they put me through the salesperson. He tells me that there is nothing he can do. I ask to speak to a manager, they tell me the manager is not working that day but rest assure that the manager will call me back the next day. two weeks latter and never heard from the manager. I am going to call their corporate and see what they say but if it is anything like the local store this is not good business. I am extremely dissatisfied. I have never been treated like this from a business. They charged my credit card for the transaction and 3 months latter I still don't have the product. Unbelievable. Update. The store canceled my order and they didn't even notify me of the order cancellation. Nor did they refund my money. After I called back then they told me to go to a store so I can get credit on my card. read more

My mother ordered a bedroom set from this company When she received the set it was missing the screws for her bed rail . The guy came back 3 time with the wrong screws I spoke to customer service all the did was give a little discount. My mother is a senior citizen and they got here sleeping on the floor. Unacceptable!!! Get #MyMomma off the floor. Poor service 3 times is unacceptable I say again. Don't order anything from these people. They want my mom to wait until Monday after the weekend to fix it. Until I raised Hell !! They are coming again tomorrow , probably with the wrong screws again!!! Full disclosure: I would never buy from Ashley Home Store. The first time I entered the store, a chair leg broke in half without anybody so much as breathing on it. A salesman and I saw it happen. He went to explain it to coworkers. I left the store. (Welch Rd. Ashley Home Store) My sister insisted on looking for a California King mattress in the same store, even after my telling of the broken chair leg story. It took Ashley nearly 3 months to deliver the mattress, after changing the delivery date 3 times. They eventually delivered the wrong size (a standard King) mattress. The delivery guy convinced my sister over the telephone (sister had a neighbor accept delivery) that the mattress "could" fit inside her waterbed frame if she "simply" repositioned the brackets to make the frame wider. Of course the delivery guy was wrong and just wanted to get out of there without returning the mattress. The saleswoman who sold my sister the mattress recalled a conversation about a California King vs a standard King mattress but didn't recall my sister distinctly. The saleswoman told my sister she would follow-up with her later that day. She has never called, texted or emailed. I would never spend my money at a business that cares so little for their customers. I recommend other do the same. Ashley Home Store is the worst! read more

I like the furniture I bought from the store, but it doesn't wear terribly well. I bought the 5 year extended protection plan through ProtectAll. After 2 years I attempted to file a claim for the furniture online and I receive an error stating they don't have record of my protection plan. I have my purchase order which clearly shows the purchase of the plan for 399.99. I have been unable to get anyone from Ashley Homestore to return my calls and ProtectAll has not responded to my emails. My next stop with be the FTC for fraud. read more

So I had some issues with the delivery. The manager Mike was able to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, the salesman made a mistake and forgot to put the delivery date I had requested. The salesman was very good though. He greeted us as we entered the store, gave us time to browse alone, but if we had any questions stopped by a couple times. He was by no means over bearing. He was knowledgeable on the questions I had, and was able to help us find what we were looking for. I was disappointed about the delivery because it was scheduled for the day before I was moving into a new house. The store provided much better customer service than the corporate number. In the end, the furniture arrived and looks good and mike resolved my issue. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! I went into the store today to look at at a queen upholstered bed i saw online for $399. They handed me a 15% off coupon that was useless for what I wanted. With the delivery and set up it was going to actually cost me $484. The manger and salesman did nothing but double talk me regarding online price being cheaper than store price blah blah blah . I left the store completely dissatisfied with my experience. I and ended up getting a beautiful bed on Wayfair for almost $200 less and it will be delivered 10/28. Ashley delivery was somewhere between 1 and 2 weeks! Never again will i waste my time with Ashley!! read more

Absolutely awful customer service. My wife and I ordered a blue chair based on the display model within the store. The chair that was delivered was teal. We immediately attempted to initiate a return due to the mis-coloring. After a month of never getting a call back, it was determined we'd need to pay a $104 restocking fee and it was blamed all on us. There is absolutely no consideration here for the customer. We will never shop at Ashley again. read more

This store has been terrible both in product and customer service. We recently bought an indoor sectional and a patio sectional. The patio sectional arrived without a portion of the cushions and the indoor sectional arrived with a broken back. Customer service was supposed to call back with a fix, but did not. I called the store and they transferred me to Customer Service who kept me on hold for 20 min and then hung up. I called back and they put the manager on the phone. He was incredibly condescending, spoke to me like a child and was no help. I found out toward the end of the call that he was not the manager as I was told. I would stay VERY far away from this store. I've spent $3500 and no one seems to be interested in fixing the issues. read more

Had a great experience in December with a salesperson named Madden. Wonderful. Madden left us alone to browse and shop. Last weekend I went back to Ashley and was hounded by Jim C. (I couldn't find Madden when we walked in). Jim is a dirty salesperson. He guaranteed us a sofa delivery today (Friday) in preparation for my son's First Holy Communion party on Saturday 10/19/19. I just called the store and I was told that we are not scheduled for a delivery. Surprise surprise. Jim got the sale done and did not care about the family behind the sale. He is dirty and dishonest. If you must go to Ashley, ask for Madden, he is not like the other salespeople, he will not stalk you around the store and hide behind walls to see what you're doing. Jim is dirty. Stay away. To Jim, thank you for ruining this occasion for my family. We will be sitting on metal fold up chairs. read more

Bought a sectional couch 3years ago paid over 3000 dollars and we had to have them come out and fix it three times so far.I went to the store and talked to a sales person he told me they don't even carry it anymore and it should be credited so we can buy something else so I talked to there cooperate office and they said they can't replace just fix ,we have insurance but the material flattens at the head and the Wood creaks. Their furniture is junk and overpriced ,never again .I guess they will keep coming out for the next two years until warranty runs out or we get a new couch. And they only reason I'm giving them one star is because the sales person was trying to help us. read more

Don't fall for their scam. They tell you it will be delivered in 6 weeks then they call every week and say it will be delayed another week. Just be honest and tell the customers the truth. The furniture won't be delivered for at least 6 months. I'd rather know the truth than be lied to again and again. read more

I was hesitant to purchase from Ashley. They are definitely cheaper; however, I kept thinking, "if it sounds too good to be true...". I wanted an inexpensive recliner (less than $400) for an upstairs sitting room. When I couldn't find anything at other furniture stores, I went to Ashely. I was pleasantly surprised at their prices and quality. I bought a very nice recliner for $342 (sale price). The delivery was free and went smoothly. They make all their furniture so I guess that's why they an keep the prices low. I'll definitely shop there again. read more

BEWARE! DO NOT GET THE FURNITURE DELIVERED! Furniture was great quality. We had the furniture delivered and the delivery guys destroyed all o my brand new garden and walkway light. I called the store and they told me to call the contractor. I called the contractor and they told me to call the store. I called the manager and he got an attitude because I was mad. The entire staff wore masks and didn't hesitate to give me one since I forgot mines in the car. Walking up to the front door we notice one of their staff members wiping down the door handles with Clorox wipes which we thought was pretty awesome. We were greeted by Chris he gave us a snap shot of the promotion they were running and gave us our space but stayed in the area when we had questions. He advised us that the sectional we wanted was out of stock which we already knew since we were stopped by a few other places before but they had better prices and a friendly atmosphere. After talking with Chris we found out the guy that was cleaning the front door handles was the store manager which blew our minds to find out that he took our health seriously with everything going on. The store manager also jumped behind the front desk to help us complete our transaction because they were short handed. With that being said no matter where you shop for furniture there's a wait but I rather shop with better prices and excellent customer service! read more

Me and my wife were looking for a sectional couch after the worst experience of our life from the worst furniture store called Best-Buy furniture. So before we came into Ashley we were a bit jaded thinking on how stressful furniture shopping was. That all changed when we met Gary Parriss one of the sales associates at Ashley and he was fantastic. Just real professional and made our experience in picking a sectional couch just lovely. We eventually settled on a grey sectional which was luckily in stock and get this, we picked it out on Monday and today, 3 days later I am sitting on it! After our horrible horrendous sales associate by the name of Mike the Jerk at Best-Buy furniture, Gary was like a breath of fresh air. Actually the whole Ashley experience was just delightful. They called us Wednesday night to confirm the order, moving crew were here at 8am in the morning put it all together cleaned up their trash and were on there merry way! Even my dog loves it and he is enjoying the couch right now! If I ever need to get furniture again Ashley is the way to go, and the willow grove location is just awesome! Buyer beware! Their quality is at the bottom of the range and you need to be very careful and read warranty terms. If you relocate from the area served by that particular store, there is no warranty. I found out the hard way in spite of my appeal to corporate and my relocation was to a market where there is a different Ashley store. This is just not a customer centric organization. Again, don't be fooled like I was!!!!! read more

Don't waste your time. Too many other good quality furniture stores to choose from. I bought furniture from here, with the warranty on the furniture. 3 years into it with the warranty still in tact, the furniture is squeaking on the most used side. They came out to fix it and stated they cannot fix. It's under warranty, they cannot fix it and they do not carry this in store any longer. The corporate office is denying my claim to fix the squeaking wood because they are assuming it's pet damage because there was there was pet hair on the couch?? Um when you have pets .. hair will be in things just as well as people hair would be on there. No one can prove or show me where this is caused from a pet as apposed to a person or people It's wear n tear on cheaply made furniture. Admit it Ashley furniture. What s true scam to save on replacing and doing right by the consumer. Save your time and money. Go to anywhere but here. read more

Poor customer service. They sell defective product, and after it is in your home, you own it for life. Not allowed any returns. 2 defective bureau's. They will not take them back at all. Stuck with them. Don't buy there! They will do nothing to help you! read more

We spent over $10K in about a 6 month period at this store and we were initially impressed with our sales person (Sam). However, every delivery had an issue, either they forgot some portion of the order or things were damaged in the warehouse and the delivery could not occur as scheduled. However this was only the beginning of the saga and was the least of the issues. Our $3,000 sectional (the chaise portion) started to show extensive wear issues at about the 10 month post purchase time frame. The home we were furnishing was not our full time residence and was used sparingly so the amount of use was not significant. We requested service on the piece and 3 different persons came out to fix it but we were told that they did not have the right replacement cushions to fix it, even though Ashley had sent out the parts and they had been delivered to the house. This went on for many weeks and still no fix. In the meantime we were moving the furniture to our permanent home in Florida in October 2019. At the time of the move, the issue remained. Upon arrival to Florida I contacted Ashley in Boca Raton to assist us and I was advised that the warranty was now null and void because I was no longer in the service area covered by Willow Grove. (this was never disclosed to us at the point of sale by Sam) Ashley Furniture is not really a national company and Boca had no responsibility to fix the issue. I was given the phone number of Ashley corporate to seek their help, but have yet to reach them as the call is disconnected each time (5x) after an extended hold time. I found a repair company that Ashley uses and he was here 2 days ago to fix the problem (ata cost of $200) using the low density inferior quality cushion material supplied by Ashley in Pa., however the chaise looks horrible still and here I am with no help from this big "reputable" company. During all of this, I found that the Ashley store managers are powerless to fix anything, I spoke to Keith (Manager) numerous times in Willow Grove seeking his help. I also tried many times to reach Sam our sales rep, and she would not return my calls, the customer service aspect at the store level is a joke. This is all a very sad situation. read more

Their furniture is VERY poor quality and complete garbage. I paid 1k for my durablend sofa set, two adults, no pets, and it's already cracking and peeling all over. The cushions started caving within a week. But they consider that "normal, conforming to the user" ah maybe if we weighed 500lbs! i bought the warranty, still BS. only allowed 3 claims! they didn't mention that when they sold it to me! how can you call it a 5 year warranty? how about changing that to 3 claim warranty, because you'll have to make 3 claims a year with how poor their furniture is. Ashley funiture we got the dining table they delivered after 4 months. And the chair is damage. They wouldn't return or exchange after we bought a warranty from them. Furniture purchased is satisfactory but went on sale two weeks after purchase. Called store regarding price match but was told this location does not honor price match after furniture is delivered. Very disappointed because website says price match within thirty days and first employee to answer phone agreed that it should apply because it was within the time period but apparently manager overruled the policy. Whereas the Service Rep was very courteous, the store itself and the services provided left a LOT to be desired. They host a Black Friday sale with a three week waiting period but a FULL delivery charge without any apology. Can guarantee that after buying two sectionals at one time we will NEVER shop here again. read more

Absolutely awful experience from start to finish. My wife and I needed a new bed and mattress. She found a bed she liked at Ashley and we found a mattress at the mattress store next door. Our salesperson, Niki, talked us into buying both at Ashley. I agreed on ONE condition. It had to be delivered by October 20 as we were moving the rest of furniture in on the 21st. She guaranteed it and even wrote it on our receipt. Needless to say, that didn't happen. It was supposed to be delivered on a friday but we got a call that monday saying they didnt have everything ready to deliver by friday. I said that was unacceptable and to cancel the order as that was the sole condition of my purchase. They wouldn't let me and said Niki would call me back the next day. She didnt. I called again 2 days later and she wasn't in and I asked for the manager. They said she was busy. This went on for 3 days of my leaving messages and them telling me the manager would call me back. Finally I got so fed up I went to a different Ashley location and told them I wanted to cancel my original order from Willow Grove and order the exact same things from them. They looked up my order and told me that Willow Grove had never even SENT my order to the warehouse for fulfillment. They called Willow Grove and miraculously the branch manager was now available. Instead of apologizing she picked up the phone and started telling me "delivery dates arent guaranteed". I told her it was written on my receipt and she continued to act like it was my fault. I gave the phone back to the manager I was dealing with at a different store and he was able to smooth everything over. They said it would come in 2 days without the bed frame but they would provide me a complimentary bed frame until the real one arrived. Once again, the bed was dropped off with no frame and just left on my floor. The Willow Grove location was an ASBOLUTE NIGHTMARE to work with on ALL FRONTS. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!! If it werent for Joe Gallo, at Ashley Conshohocken, I don't think I ever would have received any of my items. He was very pleasant to deal with and always answered when I called. I put him in a tough spot by using him as my go between with the Willow Grove store considering I didn't even purchase anything from him at that time but he acted extremely professionally and made sure everything got taken care of. I ordered out dining room table from his location and everything went much more smoothly. I still have a really bad taste in my mouth from Ashley furniture but he saved it a little bit. Long story short, AVOID ASHLEY FURNITURE WILLOW GROVE. read more

This store is garbage. I ordered a table set, which my sales person told me would be delivered in one week although the receipt stated that the estimated delivery date was within 2.5 weeks. The salesperson, Tim, also stated that I would receive a call within 3-4 days notifying me of the delivery date. The estimated delivery date came and went with no call from the store. I called to cancel the order at which point I went into the store to have my money refunded back to my debit card. The ignorant sales girl ended up swiping my card as a sale. To make a long story short , the sales girl told me to take it up with their corporate office to get both the "sale" transaction reversed and to get my initial refund returned back to me. The corporate office sent me back to take it up with the store. Complete garbage of a store. The issue still has not been resolved and I still dont have my funds back yet. read more
