Had purchased mattresses with the help of Jalen and his associate. They were very helpful. What I am writing a 1 star review is because of an admin issue for financing. Yesterday was an error of the amount so they asked me to come in and sign. So i was understanding at the time. But to have to contact me again today because of an audit error that I have to sign my financing again. Terrible on the admin/management side. Fix it so other customers who may go through financing won't have to go through this issue. read more

Buyer beware this place has a Bad business practices! I purchased my leather couch, chair, and coffee table from this Woodbridge, VA location in July. I was told by the sales associate, Juan Saenz that everything will be delivered in a of couple weeks except the coffee table. Juan said that the coffee table is a back order but it should be delivered with in a few weeks. I had been waiting for the coffee table until the mid August with no updates. I called Juan a few times and texted a couple time with no answer. He finally answered his phone in late August and told me that the coffee table would not be available until October. He did not inform me this information when I made a purchase. I told him that I can't wait that long and asked if he can cancel the order for me, which he said yes. To my surprise, the store called me today (10/07/24) and asked me when I would like the order to be delivered. I told the lady (Latik) that my order supposed to be canceled per Juan, but she said "No". She refused to help me fix this issue and told me to call a 3rd party company. I asked to speak with the Store Manager, Ahmed Hadid but was told that he was busy. I called the 3rd party company at 3am but the company is closed. I am now stuck with the coffee table that I have no need, I do not know what to do at this point. The coffee table is about $500 plus delivery fee. I will not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. Overall my experience was much better thanks to Alberto! I purchased a bedroom set for my in-laws in late October. We had a few discussions following two deliveries and an error the company realized was no fault of our own. I went back to the store to echo my concerns and Alberto listened while taking notes on everything. He assured me he would look into my concern and would follow back up with me once had a way forward. He followed through on his word to get to the bottom of the situation and he did. I received all furniture items requested and in great condition. Excellent communication and service. He genuinely cares about the customers and the employees as I saw him interact with others. Furniture is poor quality and falls apart really quickly after purchase with normal use. I bought a recliner and 2 couches less than a year ago and one couch has multiple rips on all cushions and the recliner is essentially disintegrating at the foot and the back frame. Ashley is refusing to honor their 1 year warranty because it's "close to a year" since delivery so they are not covering it even though it's within the warranty period. They refuse to fix or replace the cushions. They also will not honor it under the extended warranty because it's under a year and the extended warranty is a third party company that takes affect after the year manufacturer warranty. Bottom line, don't purchase from here due to the quality and the fact that they won't fix it when it breaks. Further, don't be tricked into buying extra warranties because they are not going to honor them. I am going to have to take them to court to get them to honor their original manufacturer warranty. Avoid this store at all costs! They are very eager only to make a purchase and get your money. Customer service does not exist afterwards. This was my most frustrating experience ever. Having bought most of my home furniture from the store with a big purchase, they were still awful post purchase . Several furniture and accessories items arrived damaged or defective and they were very rude and unwilling to replace. It was a very time consuming, frustrating ordeal from dealing with "customer care" and Alberto, who along with his manager Vic, claim can't do anything even after acknowledging the defects. "Customer care" claimed they would send someone to SERVICE/CLEAN the fabric on one of my brand new items that was clearly discolored rather the replace! Be very careful if you decide to purchase anything from this store. Our salesperson told us we could purchase a conversion kit for $199 so that we wouldn't need a box spring for the bed we bought. When they filled out the order, the $199 charge on my invoice was for a warranty that they never said anything about. I didn't notice it because the order had stock numbers and incomplete descriptions. When our bed was delivered without said conversion kit, my wife called the store immediately. They do not offer refunds, regardless of what their website says, so I'm stuck with the bed and I have to get a boxspring for it, which is not what my son wanted. To top it off, they apparently won't let me cancel the warranty. They are non-responsive to requests, don't call you back when they say they will, and the original salesperson no longer works there. read more

Dang, should have looked at the reviews for this location before shopping here. They offered steep discounts for store financing, so we opted for store financing, which took over an hour and a half to process. They had to wait for some guy to come finish the transaction and he was in a bad mood, then when I asked for my drivers license back to leave, he caught an attitude with me. We were so exhausted and were trying to get home because we had a babysitter, and he promised us "just 5 more minutes" so we stuck through it. They were supposed to call me Sep 6 to schedule delivery and did not, so I called to ask and guess what? The new delivery date is Oct 1. I understand supply chain challenges, but they can't give me a call or send an email when the shipping time goes from 10 days to 30 days? read more

I came with my mom to pick out some new furniture for the bedroom and living room. My mom already knew what bedroom furniture she wanted and who to talk to so we just took some time to find living room furniture we liked. After around 30 or 40 minutes of looking we found what we liked and measured everything before officially deciding. We did business with Muhammad D and he was very kind and articulate about the prices and answering all of our questions. I purchased a lovely living room set from Ashley. Scheduled the delivery, I called Ashley, that morning and was told, October 14th, Friday morning, my delivery time was set for, Saturday, from 10-1pm. I put that on my schedule & it was no problem. Later on Friday, around 4 pm, Ashley Rep called to say, my time was now changed to 3:30-6pm. I told the rep, I would not be available, because I was given the time from 10-1pm & I could not be available after 3pm. She said, let me call you back. Friday, 4:16pm she called me back & said, the delivery should be there before 2-2:30pm. I said, that is fine. By Saturday at 2:10 pm, I received NO call from a Ashley Rep. At 2:15 pm, I called the "Customer Care" & the Rep says, my time WAS NEVER changed to 2-2:30 pm, the drivers were given the 3:30-6pm time. NO ONE from Ashley Furniture called me to tell me, the time was NEVER CHANGED! I told the Rep, I would not be at home during that time. The Ashley Rep, read the note on my delivery paper, that the other Rep left for her and she failed to annotate, that she called me back, around 4:26 pm & told me, the delivery would be, Saturday, 2:-2:30 at the latest. I told the rep, she needed to call the driver, because I would have to reschedule. I told her, Ashley CANNOT just change the time & not notify the customer. UNACCEPTABLE! Now, I "the customer" have to go another week without furniture, because the Ashley Scheduling Rep failed to call me & tell me, she couldn't change the time. I was lead to believe, they would arrive at 2pm. Instead, she called me back with a false time to appease me & told me, they would not charge me for redelivery. I truly do not believe, she tried to change the time at all. I asked the rep to contact the driver, because most likely I will not be at home, due to other commitments, and she said they have no way of reaching the delivery rep. I know that cannot be true. I will not ever purchase from Ashley Furniture again. I have NEVER experienced this delivery issue with ANY COMPANY. Sad to, because it had been a pleasant buying experience. read more

My husband and I came in to purchase a table that I had been eyeing for weeks. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Samina and told her exactly what I wanted. We sat down and started the paperwork and she was very quick and efficient with getting everything filled out. As I waited for the paperwork to be completed at the front desk she sat down with me and we talked. She was so kind and personable and I was so glad to have her help me with my purchase. The person working at the front desk who helped us with the paperwork and scheduling my delivery was an absolute joy to work with as well (I am wish I had asked for her name!). I had a horrible experience with the Alexandria location and didn't want to lose hope because I do love the furniture Ashley's has to offer. We ordered a sectional and a recliner on July 3rd and the sales woman assured us that even though it was back ordered, it would still be delivered to us the first week of August. We called on August 1st for an update and was told they were expecting it that day and they would call us to schedule a delivery as soon as it arrived. It is now August 5th and called again for an update and was told that the store has been giving out wrong information and our furniture will not be arriving to their warehouse until August 15th. I am disappointed in how our order was handled and even more upset that we have to go another 2 weeks for living room furniture. I do not recommend shopping at this location. read more

My husband and i have been looking for a sofa for over a week and every place we went to either had sales people who didn't really care about a sale or they were too hungry for a sale. Our last place to look was Ashley Furniture in Woodbridge. We were immediately greeted by Zafar - she welcomed us in and said if we have any questions to find her. She gave us our space the whole time and was easy to find when we had questions. She was thoroughly knowledgeable and very helpful when we needed help measuring pieces. Zafar was also very patient with us bevy we we were torn between 3 sofas and each time she would answer or questions then gave us our space to ponder over our decision. She also explained very clearly the warranty and protection plan. In the end we made our choice and Zafar made the purchasing process very smooth and painless! We purchased a bedroom suite from Ashley in June. At the time of the purchase the sales clerks had difficulty identifying the proper product numbers and changed the final cost they quoted when I agreed to the purchase, $3,800 up to $4,400. The items were on backorder for 6 weeks, upon delivery the nightstand was the wrong model, the vanity was missing parts and had to be taken back, and the bed frame had a rail that was not aligned. The vanity was re-delivered after several weeks and missing the mirror. After three months we still do not have the mirror and the bed is still not fixed. A technician identified the issue was a defect in the rail, and Ashley incorrectly ordered, and delivered, a footboard. Three months with incorrect and defective furniture. I will never buy from Amy Ashley store again. read more
