I am looking for a new sofa and walked into Ashley store expecting that someone would latch on like when you go to buy a car but that was not my experience. Everton greeted me after I had a chance to walk through and gaze around the store and I told him what I was looking for. He listened to my explanation and took me to the area of sofas that were exactly what I wanted. He gave me space to walk around, sit on the pieces take photos but was within my view so if I looked over, he came and answered my questions. He explained and showed me how the cushions were made to be firm because that's what I wanted. The manager of the store also introduced himself and was available for questions. It was a very pleasant perusal and although I didn't purchase that date, I will be back to purchase my new sofa! Great showroom staff, terrible corporate policies. Khaliah and Victoria in the store are fantastic! Unfortunately, the T&T warehouse distribution team is very unpleasant. Worse yet, there is a strict NO MONEY BACK policy. If your delivery goes wrong or you don't like the product, the return process is lengthy and you can only reselect something else. Cross your fingers that your delivery goes smoothly. We had seven deliveries and they were all bad. They shipped bad products knowing that they were damaged. The process took five months and we are still praying for good delivery re-elected products. The protection plan is automatic unless you request to take it off. read more

Worst furniture store experience of my life. The salesperson is a liar and the manager is completely irresponsible. I ordered a bed set that was supposed to be delivered 2 days after purchase. Instead, they delivered it with missing parts. They scheduled another delivery, and guess what? They sent the same broken and incomplete items again, with zero inspection. Their warehouse team(T & T Distribution) is hands down one of the worst customer service teams on the entire planet. They had to come 6 TIMES to complete one simple bed set. Every time there was a new problem--missing parts, broken parts, scratched parts. Total chaos. The funniest (and most frustrating) part? I called the Woodbridge store, where I bought the furniture, and they said they "can't do anything" and refused to take any responsibility. When I asked for a refund, they straight up said NO. Once they sell you the furniture, they don't care at all. Please dont trust there store general manger and sales person. After 6 deliveries, I finally received the furniture, and it is STILL scratched. I am completely tired, stressed, and disappointed. Please do not waste your time or money at this store. We went to Ashley's to look for a new couch: They weren't too pushy and let us look around then they assisted find what kind we wanted . The sales girl was nice and friendly. However, after purchasing the couch they didn't give us any paper receipt so we kinda had no idea when it would be delivered. Then I called and got a paper receipt emailed me to me because the original email and text never came and then still nothing saying a delivery date. I tried using the online tracker and delivery lookup form and nothing existed even though we did the order in store. I think they need a better system for that. Delivery of the couch went fine the only thing is we received the couch in a different color than the floor model we thought we had ordered . We had a great experience today! We had the intention of looking for a new bed frame for my son and a dresser for the master bedroom. We were greeted by Kevin, who let us know he was new and still learning the ropes. No problem - we appreciated his honesty. The store manager, Noor, came to help a few times. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was nice to see how patient he was with making sure to take opportunities to learn with Kevin without being degrading. He pointed out where to look for on the signage (for Kevin) and explained to us different ways items were manufactured. In June I purchased a bedroom set. We were about to get a military discount because our son is retired from the Army. It was not disclosed to me there was a $400.00 delivery fee. So on that I feel it was my fault for not catching it. Just a few weeks ago we went back and purchased a sectional and recliner. Again it was not disclosed to me there was an over $400.00 delivery fee. Our sale rep (Keith) was to busy telling us stories about himself and up selling us the warranty. I called the next day and spoke with an office staff person. I got no where with her. All they would give me is a store credit. If you are charging me for a delivery why would I buy something else from your store. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told he was not in yet. She assured me she would have him call me back later. He never did. I called the next day, still no manager. I agreed to take the furniture, but will NEVER shop with this company or at this store again. You would think if a customer had spent over $9,000 in less then a month at your store you would cut them a little slack with regard to delivery fees. Buyer beware this place has a Bad business practices! I purchased my leather couch, chair, and coffee table from this Woodbridge, VA location in July. I was told by the sales associate, Juan Saenz that everything will be delivered in a of couple weeks except the coffee table. Juan said that the coffee table is a back order but it should be delivered with in a few weeks. I had been waiting for the coffee table until the mid August with no updates. I called Juan a few times and texted a couple time with no answer. He finally answered his phone in late August and told me that the coffee table would not be available until October. He did not inform me this information when I made a purchase. I told him that I can't wait that long and asked if he can cancel the order for me, which he said yes. To my surprise, the store called me today (10/07/24) and asked me when I would like the order to be delivered. I told the lady (Latik) that my order supposed to be canceled per Juan, but she said "No". She refused to help me fix this issue and told me to call a 3rd party company. I asked to speak with the Store Manager, Ahmed Hadid but was told that he was busy. I called the 3rd party company at 3am but the company is closed. I am now stuck with the coffee table that I have no need, I do not know what to do at this point. The coffee table is about $500 plus delivery fee. I will not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. Original: Alberto was so friendly and helpful. It's obvious everyone In the store loves working with him. Excited for my new couch! Update: the couch came fast but didn't fit so unfortunately I had to return it. One of the store managers, Nick, promised me a full refund, which was great and he was very kind. The refund department gave me a call about a week later saying I had to pay a restocking fee, and when I told them that Nick said full refund with no fee, they didn't believe me. I called the store back and the manager confirmed he had a note in my file confirming there would be a fee, so I called the refunds department back (no answer, left a voicemail. This is a trend) and told them about the conversation. They called me back a few days later saying they called Nick and he said I DID have to pay a fee, which is not what I was told. I said that was incorrect, and would like to request a recording of the phone conversation to prove my case. They then told me it was a "request for refund" not a "guaranteed refund", and they get final say, which is not at all what I was told. I believe if I was told I would get a full refund by a store manager, that's the end all be all. If that's not true, it shouldn't be on me. I have left countless voicemails and this still isn't resolved. They are holding onto my money and I'm starting to pay interest on a couch that isn't even in my possession. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. The store employees are kind and accommodating, but they are not in charge of the refund process and it has been a nightmare to work with the refunds department. I don't think I will shop at Ashley again because of this experience. read more
