Thankfully, when I visited Energetic Smile Dental in Brea, CA USA, Dr. Chung and his team treated me with such care and professionalism that I was finally able to relax and recover comfortably. I wasn't able to fully express my gratitude at the time, so I want to share it now. Thank you again to Dr. Chung and the entire team for your kindness and excellent treatment. The color of the crown was not quite there and even though I couldn't see it in the dental office, he pointed it out. We decided to keep the crown on temporarily so that I could whiten my teeth a bit so that my teeth color would be closer to the crown color. Anyways I am super pleased with how it looks now and he was able to fill out some gaps on the front teeth with some bonding. I am finally able to smile and not see my old discolored crown and gap in the gum line.

They don't use those nasty impression trays that ooze all in your mouth and make you GAG. I don't recall what it called but it's like a pen they put around your teeth and it takes a digital picture of your teeth. Dr. Bae will tell you what procedures you need now and what can wait. There is absolutely no pressure. Dr Bae and his staff are all about making you feel comfortable. I highly recommend Angelica for your teeth cleaning appointments. I also have to mention that if you need a crown...you can have it the same day. How awesome is that? No temporary crown and waiting weeks for it to come in. That's so yesterday! Dr. Bae also has their own dental plan. It is a so worth it. As we all know most Dental insurance is not so great. I also have to mention how great Dr. Bae's office staff is. I guess they didn't bother to read any of the paperwork I filled out because I am CURRENTLY taking amoxicillin for something else. They also tried to sell my partner the thousand dollar "deep cleaning treatment". I walked out since it seemed like their priority is money and still had several other patients to get through. The only redeeming thing about this place was that the front desk girls were nice. I went to another clinic and they were able to do a routine teeth cleaning and told me my fillings are a little old but they are fine.

Sky helped get started with my x-rays and teeth cleaning before Dr. Yang came to do additional cleaning. Everyone was professional, friendly, and personable,which made for a comfortable experience. My teeth are really healthy so I don't see the main dentist often but the couple of interactions I've had with her have been very kind. But my absolute most favorite person to talk to and get my cleanings done with is Huang. She's so down to earth and easy to talk to. She's careful and wont wet you and poke you on accident. She explains everything she does. And the whole cleaning experience feels like a spa! They even give you a hot towel to clean your chin/mouth area up when you're done. There's snacks in there and drinks. Everything is clean and the outside area is adorable. I don't have trouble parking and I don't have to wait. Just walk in and they are ready for my appointment! I saw a video online recently that said it's actually very difficult to find good dentists to do cleanings because many are shady and will only have their dental assistants polish your teeth. I do not have that experience here. The technology is modern and advanced, even some of my old dental places didn't have what they have here. Note: I am a cash paying customer. I do not go through insurance. It's a little expensive compared to other places but you get what you pay for. The experience is much much much better here. And for anyone worried about dealing with people who have accents from their home country, that's also not the case here. They speak fluent English with no accent. Which I know is a weird comment but I think some people care about that. So don't worry about it. It's also super cool that the dentist and hygienist are sisters lol.
