Dr. Lu is pleasant, gentle, knowledgeable, and always gives me a thorough, easy-to-understand explanation of all of my options. He recommended a great oral surgeon when I needed a tooth pulled a few years ago (and they're both fellow Bruins, even better!) and I always trust his recommendations. Yes, the office staff likes to do follow-up calls pretty often, and yes, this is a no-frills, clean office and lobby and not a fancy Beverly Hills one, but I've had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Lu. I've always been happy with his work, and with his hygienists and staff. It's pretty easy to find parking on Federal too.

And I like that they want me to come in to get my teeth cleaned every 3 months, it's saved me from bigger procedures by being proactive to any issues with my gums ahead of time. The employees here were really nice and told me honestly how I may feel after my surgery. My sister, which was studying to be a dentist at the time, told me about another option. When I met Thimy, the oral surgery, I asked her about the other option my sister mentioned. She blew up on me. She did not let me talk and got defensive. She was trying to make herself sound experienced by telling me how many years shes been doing surgery and where she went to school. I dont care lady, I was just trying to ask you a question. She kept cutting me off. Bitch thinks she knows it all. I got more annoyed when she started to talk about how I looked and started touching my face. I just came in just for consultation but she kept insisting I do the surgery then and there. She also yelled at her employee in front of me for telling me how I may feel. I told her it was not her employee's fault and walked out. She came running after me to try to say things to make sure other customers in the waiting room could hear her explanation. That's not it. My sister borrowed an Xray and brought it back. The next time she came they claimed she never brought it back and charged her $25.
