I was in need of a root canal and Dr. Vasa from Peppertree dental referred me to Dr. Kim (who is literally down the street). I have never been so satisfied with the outcome of my procedure that I am now telling everyone I know to get a referral to Dr. Kim if they ever need a reliable endodontist. Dr. Kim knows patients are anxious, so after he listened to all my concerns he told me how I am under their care now, and just hearing that gave me a wave of assurance. During my procedure he was VERY generous with numbing me. I told him that I never felt this numb in my life, he laughed and said "he's not cheap". I kid you not, I almost fell asleep. I didn't feel any sharp pain, and I gotta say, the Hawaiian radio he has for BGM was a good touch. Dr. Kim is very attentive, understanding, and kind. His team is also a reflection of his leadership. Safe to say he has my fiancé's ultimate stamp of approval. As a person that works in healthcare, I am satisfied with their work efficiency and appreciate their follow up calls the next day to make sure I was doing okay. Hopefully I won't have to go back, but in the case I do need another procedure I know where to go.

She explained exactly what I will get and the process. Including custom shading to ensure the veneers matches the rest of my teeth. She gave me time to decide and answered my many many questions. The way she approached my consultation with patience was what made me decide to get them done with her. There were moments in our consultation where she just sat and stared at me as she can tell that Im trying to think and formulate my thoughts into questions. If she takes that much time just to talk to me and ensure that Im happy with an explanation, I knew my teeth were going to get even more care and attention. She did porcelain veneers for me on only two teeth and everyone says they cant tell even which is which. They blend really well with the rest of my teeth. She patiently showed me how to use a water flosser and dental floss properly for better home care. I was especially impressed that she put protective goggles on me before the cleaning and also checked for any possible lumps around my neck. These thoughtful details made me feel that my health and safety were truly being taken seriously. The office was neat and tidy, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It took 2 painful hours and a decent size bag to retreat my root canal for it to fail 6 months later. My tooth became infected with an oral fistula. I decided to pull the tooth to not have to go through that again. I called the office to inform and ask why my root canal became infected and never received a call back. Super unprofessional not to even discuss the matter. Response to owner: I wasn't provided with a follow up appointment after treatment. I paid and the receptionists never informed me to follow up. I also never received a reminder card to folklore up. My dentist also stated your office never followed up. Please provide proof with the reminder card and when I was offered the follow up appointment. I also inquired to discuss with Dr. Nathanial Tsai and never heard back.

We called their office at 5pm Sunday, the answering service relayed the message to the endodontist on call for their office and Dr. J's assitant called us back in 5 min. They drove in for us, stayed till it was DONE..and my husband is VERY nervous about going to any dentist. Dr. J and her assistant were so amazing. My husbnad had the BEST experience there from start to finish. The office is clean The staff so nice and caring especially her assistant. The procedure could not have been more "comfortable" per my husband which is HUGE coming from him. He gets nervous just getting his teeth cleaned. Dr. J was so gentle, caring, nice and REALLY good at what she does. When it comes to tooth pain you don't mess around. This practice is TOP notch and we'd drive any distance if we had to do it all over again. Thank goodness they are only 15 minutes away from our home. The place is easy to find, easy parking, friendly, clean, and the procedure is very fast. It took me about 30-40 minutes in and out, and there were no weird reactions after. Here are some highlights of my experience. 1. When they stick that needle in your gums for 20 seconds (though it seems like FOREVER) to numb you, the nurse holds your hand! 2. Dr. Jitsumyo is a sweet lady who will walk you through every step of the process so you are in control. 3. They use these plastic reservoir things to keep the infected tooth is isolated, so you don't have to keep your mouth open wide the whole time. Will I be back? Hopefully not. but if I do get another root canal procedure done, you can bet your lucky stars that it'll be done here.
