He originally went in for acute back pain but has been back regularly for palliative care for his arthritis and kidney disease. It has made a tremendous difference in his comfort level. Scheduling is always easy - either online or at the front desk - and all the staff are always friendly. The room for acupuncture is very comfortable for both me and my dog, with air purifiers, a white noise machine, and a heat lamp if needed (which my dog loves). Dr. Magner is gentle and kind. She thoroughly explains her treatments and has recommended many ways for me to help my dog be more comfortable in his senior years. I am very grateful to have found South Hillsdale and Dr. Magner.

I was told not to be late for my appointment or else I will be charged. Then the doctor was 10 minutes late for no reason as I was the first appointment. Then once she arrived, no apologies for being late, and condescending. The last few visits I left feeling terrible. I thought since we have been here for so long maybe it'll get better. We came 7 years ago because of a particular Dr. since he left it's been down hill. I should have followed my instincts. Will be looking for a new vet.

I can honestly say Lynda is one of the only people that's not a family member that I trust wholeheartedly with his care. It also helps that he has become best friends with one of her recent foster fails I love that they only take small (or very calm larger dogs), allow them to cuddle in bed and most importantly only use positive reinforcement. Dr.Stanton dismissed our concerns and asked if it was my first time ever owning a cat, seemingly finding humor over our concern. After we told him that our previous cat received an injection for the symptoms they share in common, he bragged about his 30 years experience in the field and said he's never heard about an injection to help with bad breath before. The injection was an antibiotic that helped with our previous cat's gum infection, so we mentioned this to Dr.Stanton. He didn't think there was anything wrong with my kitten's bad breath and said that an injection would be too "invasive." We took our kitten to another vet for a second opinion. His gums were obviously swollen and he had an infection. This new vet addressed our concerns, gave him an antibiotic injection, and our kitten is healthy again and we can now enjoy his fresh breath kisses! Foul odor in the mouth isn't normal and is something that should be taken seriously.
