Small cafe in north providence that serves crepes, waffles, smoothies , and a small grill menu.

Hot chocolate - super pretty and delicious!

Definitely check this place out for an after-dinner snack! We had hot chocolate here and it was some of the best hot chocolate I've had in a long time - you can tell they make it by hand (none of that Swiss Miss stuff). The Kinder Crepe was recommended to me by the server and it was delicious. White a dark chocolate combined - I had to order a glass of milk, because it was so rich! The decor was really nice too. Everything was brightly lit and homey, for such a tiny location. They also offer Hooah and dessert waffles! Make sure to look at your check, because they add a service charge (which I assume is meant to replace a tip).

Hope you have a sweet tooth because this place is sweet. Plenty of options from smoothies, coffees, crepes, pancakes, waffles, & hookah. I was a little disappointed that there were no savory crepe options but overall it was a good experience and everything was delicious. The staff was so friendly and and accommodating.

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

I bought a cinnamon bun ($5) and it was basic. Once you bite it, you realize it is just a brioche…read moredonut with some frosting. There were no cinnamon-butter layers inside it. The frosting was incredible though. That stuff could go on anything. The cinnamon buns at Oak Bakeshop and Whole Foods are much better with those typical gooey layers inside. Also, it was not large in size, anyone can eat it in one sitting. The worker who took my order was very friendly and it is so nice/comfortable inside there.

We've stopped for baked goods and coffee at Oak Bakeshop several times while staying in the area and could not have enjoyed the baked goods more! The black and white cookies- YUM. The Boureka is the star here though. It's flaky pastry filled with a savory spinach and salty cheese mixture and it is perfection. Don't share it. You'll want your own! The setting is lovely- right by a playground, on a residential street. I really appreciate that they have outdoor seating available to enjoy the setting but also for those with pets (not allowed inside).

First of all their assortment of merch speaks to me - fun keychains, mugs, assorted little gifts. I bought a ton of keychains. Their coffee is great too, I had gotten iced lattes which is my go to, and one day I added a cold foam. Delicious. Their assortment of baked goods is incredible with the star being the boureka. We also tried the Jerusalem bagel, the chocolate chip scone, coffee cake and I cannot remember what else. Loved the vibes and the service was friendly. Would definitely stop in for coffee if you're in the area!

Several of the menu items are also named after Greek and Roman gods and goddesses. My favorite item is no longer on the menu, but it was a Ferrero Roche hazelnut martini and it was delicious. I'm hoping it comes back this winter. I had a chocolate strawberry martini this most recent time that wasn't yet on the menu and it was so, so tasty. I also had a gin lavender drink made because they do have lavender simple syrup and it was also very good. My only complaint about the establishment is that their bathroom is really small and kind of oddly shaped. Not really ADA compliant. I had just had foot surgery and was using a walker and I could not fit my walker into the bathroom the correct way, I had to enter sideways, which was very difficult and I had not been planning for that. I imagine a wheelchair would have difficulty as well, but I believe there's some steps to enter the building so it's unlikely someone in a wheelchair would even be able to access the restaurant. We had really good service both times I've gone, the servers are pretty attentive. It did take a while for us to be seated, there's a sign that says wait to be seated, but no one ever approached us so we just sat ourselves and a server did come by fairly quickly after that. Overall, I would definitely go back, I am dying to try their martini flights on Thursday nights.
