I've never been able to reach someone on the phone - the only way to communicate appears to be their online portal. The responses are slow (if they respond at all), incomplete and often don't even address my questions. After my initial consultation I was told that the office would be reaching out to schedule a sleep lab. This did not happen, I needed to call repeatedly, leave multiple messages, reach out via the portal, etc. When I did get a response I was told that there was no openings available and that they would reach out once their June bookings became available. A week into June I reached out again and again, only to be told that all bookings in June were filled. After the sleep study, I had my review with Dr. Sabina. I had some additional questions after the meeting so I reached out via the portal - the person who responded suggested I get a sleep study done (clearly unaware of my history with the office and the fact that I already had my sleep lab done and review). I reminded them that I already had one conducted and reminded them what the findings were. They apologized, but never answered my questions. I followed up asking my same original question. No response. I just followed up again and am now looking for treatment elsewhere. During my search I found all of these reviews and decided to add mine. Communicating with the office requires a herculean effort on the patient's part and immense amount of patience. I do not recommend.

We came in to have our hearing tested, and I had a question about a long-term problem with pressure in my left inner ear. We were impressed by the thorough way Dr. Shepard and Rachel, the wonderful (PhD) Audiologist, conducted our exams and explained our results. Everyone was professional, thorough and genuinely friendly. All of our questions answered (in depth) and we even had a couple of good laughs along the way, and I'll never have to worry about my inner ear again!. First let me say that the doctor Duhon (who seems to get the brunt of the criticism - I've never met him) doesn't seem to be at this center any more. You can see their website at ansaustin dot com Dr. Das is fabulous, talented and genuine. She has a brilliant and powerful intuition about how to heal patients. And at the same time she's a very kind soul. She has helped me enormously. I trust her implicitly and of course make sure to exactly follow her recommendations. I will admit that one or two times I had to call her on her decisions. There are times when each of us needs to stand up for what we think with any doctor we might be seeing. Such as the basis for side effects. But I can be a pushy broad when it comes to my health and in my experience that's the sort of problem I've had with most doctors over the years. My first visit with a different doctor in that same center was not helpful. Probably a personality conflict between us. Being able to see Dr. Das made up for all of that. She's a bit concerned with prescribing controlled medications that may put her under the scope of the absurdity of the state of Texas. My take, after moving here 3 years ago from California - Texas is a scary place for getting medical treatments OR needed medications. I scheduled a sleep study and everything went smoothly. They called to say that I did have sleep apnea and I would need a second sleep study with a CPAP to determine if that would help my symptoms. I came in and again everything went smoothly. But then communication stopped entirely. No one called about the results of the second sleep study. There was no prescription ever written for the CPAP or any other device. I tried calling but no one ever returned my calls. It's been almost a year since my sleep study and I still don't have answers.

In the beginning we thought it started because he began first grade in a new school and maybe he was nervous. A month after our son had the surgery he still had the ticks so my sister recommended Neta. Neta was amazing on the phone, very calming and knowledgeable. Had mild sleep apnea and was a candidate for a dental device to correct the problem. Fitting took…read moreseveral appbut finally got the device. Insurance covered cost and I purchased coverage in case something happened to the device. As I finally found the correct setting, it broke when I dropped it while preparing a cleaning solution. I was asked to take a picture of the device, submitted and was told it would be replaced in about a month.While waiting, I threw the broken device out. Now I am told the won't replace without having the device. I was never advised to keep the broken device and now replacing would be over $2500. Not sure whether it's SBA, their insurance provider or both but there is something very wrong here. A day after posting the review I got a call from an Operations Manager with SBA. She profusely apologized for my treatment and said it had been a mistake which she was investigating and was correcting so I would get my replacement device. Very satisfied with this response.

Dr. Bo Stanley's office setup a 7:30am appointment for me and his hygienist took me in right away. After she took some pictures and shared them with Dr. Stanley, he came in, warmly greeted me, explained how he planned to proceed, and with my concurrence, began the work. 12 minutes later, my tooth was repaired and I was out of the dentist's chair. I was pleasantly shocked that they fixed the tooth, cured the polymer, polished it to ensure a proper bite, and had me out the door in 12 minutes! And because I didn't need a cap, it was only about a quarter the price. Great job Dr. Stanley and team!

They don't answer their phone ever…read more In Jan 2022 I was referred to Dr. Raymond for a nerve issue in my arm. It took a few phone calls before they answered but I was finally able to schedule an appointment. While scheduling the receptionist said something like I would be seeing the nurse practitioner and I had to stop and ask them what that meant. Turns out I was not actually going to see the Dr. Raymond and I would then have to come back in to see her. When I protested they gave me another date where I could actually see Dr. Raymond. Dr. Raymond was nice and thorough taking time to evaluate and explain things to me. The admitting nurse seemed slightly rude and did not have the warm kind feeling that I typically associate with people in the healthcare profession. It could have just been the vibe I got so that alone isn't a reason for a poor review. When they took my vitals they have an old style scale with the sliding weights, nothing wrong with that in general, but the scale is in the corner of a small room which means the nurse must stand inches from you to move the weights and take a reading. With COVID it seems like a little more distance would be nice. After she finishes taking vitals they then spray the room down with Lysol. Seems like a pretty big gap between the lack of social distance and then disinfecting the room. I was in again in early July for a follow up visit and they referred me to get another MRI. Once I got home I realized that they had sent the referral to a different imaging lab than the MRI I had earlier in the year. I tried calling them to see if they could get the MRI moved to where I had my first one just so I could avoid filling out as much paper work. I called several times and left messages before I was finally able to speak to someone in their office. The woman was nice and said she would check and call me back later that day. I got no call back. I have now been calling them several times a day for the past 2 weeks, left messages and nobody has ever answered the phone. I can't recommend NeuroAustin simply because they don't answer the phone. Even if I did recommend them it seems unlikely anyone would be able to book an appointment since they never answer their phone.

However, the office staff, particularly an admin named Josie, are simply incompetent. Two different times, Josie forgot to order the botox in time for the treatment, and I had to reschedule. She simply does not understand that people have to work and cannot get off whenever the scheduler feels like it! I left the practice and am very happy with my new neurologist. Two thumbs down for these folks!
