Love this place! It is like a mini Asian superstore! They have a broad range of products from all around the world not just the typical East-Asian products. I have found great Indian spices and products, African seasonings, and more. I always find new treats when I visit. They also have a fantastic selection of Sake and several hard-to-find Asian beers. This is my mom's go-to Asian grocery in the area for canned goods, frozen goods, and sauces. They have some produce but not a ton. No hot/prepared food. They have a large variety of Asian stuff, from Chinese to Japanese to Thai to Vietnamese to Korean to Indian. As well as some African and South American products! Absolutely the best Asian market in all of North Bay. It's twice as big as the other asian markets in town (which is not very big). So this isn't like H Mart or nothing. It's still smaller than a Trader Joe's. But given most of the other asian markets are the size of a convenient store, this one is bigger, and so there's more variety. I've lived in Santa Rosa for a year, and I can't believe I hadn't checked this place out! Definitely the hidden gem for anyone of any asian decent in the area! It is also comparatively clean and well organized, and easy to find what I needed. I was surprised when I walked in and the person behind the counter said hello. Given what some of the reviews said, I didn't expect there to be a greeting. I did appreciate it though. They also asked if I found everything I was looking for when I was paying. Ooohh... they're using American customer service. They had a good assortment of dumpling wrappers, which is what I came here for. Last time I was making dumplings I went to the other asian market, and all they had were wonton wrappers that were so frozen, they looked like they've been there for years. When I asked about it, they just said 'whatever is there is what we have." ....You're an asian market and you don't have dumpling wrappers?! I was looking specifically for gyoza wrappers which is the most obvious best seller for dumpling wrappers, I would think. Prices seemed decent, they weren't trying to gouge you. As you can see I gave it 4 stars. I mean, it's not asian market heaven or anything. But it's still the best in town. This place is a hidden gem! From the outside, it looks like a hole in the wall, a bit run down. Definitely not anything like the Ranch 99s and Lion supermarkets in South Bay. Great Asia market in Santa Rosa. Clean, always helpful, well stocked,but wish they had fresh made wrapper options. Lots of frozen options and they are ok...I'm a regular for the pot sticker, wonton and lumpia wrappers. All frozen...I also picked up sushi stuff,,,,fresh rice paper rolls and assorted sauces. Pretty good prices...but some items have gone up three to five times the cost compared to pre covid. But the good news is they are still for the most part better and fresher than grocery store for similar types. Also needed some Thai basil and it wasn't on the shelf...I asked for it and the clerk happily went into the back and retrieved me a nice bunch. Also store is clean no off odors. IMO this is easily the best Asian food store in Santa Rosa. They have a great variety of different goods, dry foods, frozen foods, non alcoholic drinks, alcohol, noodles and even have an organic section. They also make great spring rolls and Bahn mi's that you can pick up at the counter when purchasing your goods. The selection of teas are quite vast and they have a lot of traditional Chinese remedies (TCM) and herbs you can purchase over the counter that are great quality. It's also a really fun store to wander through and look at everything, and I'm definitely not the type of person who normally enjoys wandering through stores. Personally my favorite part of this place is that they carry my favorite hot-sauce, 'Lingham's hot sauce extra hot'. If you're a connoisseur when it comes to spicy food and hot sauces this is the one for you. It's a must try. Delicious and still very spicy, hard combo to attain but they did it. Also when Girlfriend and I went in last we got boba ice cream that was amazing, if you love sweet treats those are a must as well. read more

THIS STORE seems to have EVERYTHING!!! From cooking utensils to fresh vegetables to fish, meat, frozen foods, and shelves loaded with spices, jars of condiments, vinegars, oils, flours from so many Asian countries and even some African groceries. The staff is very friendly. The parking is not great but the variety of what this store has makes the trip worthwhile. I came here looking for some Japanese natto and was pleased to see they had many options in their freezer section. Very fairly priced. I didn't look around too much more because I was in a bit of a hurry, but will say the store was clean and very well stocked with cool products. I would have liked to have browsed more. This is absolutely an amazing store! The variety of items is greater than what you'd expect to find in a 99 Ranch or other such store. From cookware to dishware to canned, packaged, frozen and fresh food items, some clothing, even Chinese herbs. My go-to place as we live miles away in a very rural area and can't get to SF or Sacramento as easily. Fresh, frozen and dry noodles, soy products. I love this market. They had everything I wanted and more. All sorts of ingredients from all over Asia. I bought stuff for Vietnamese pho, Thai curry, tons of Indian spices, Japanese snacks... they even have some African ingredients and spices (eyeing the fufu flour when I'm feeling confident enough to try it). They also have a great selection of housewares, dishes, utensils and kitchen gadgets. This place is fully stocked. I live in Healdsburg, so this is my go-to store for shopping for anything related to Asian or Indian cuisine. This place is especially good for packaged items with a good shelf life. I usually come here needing only one or two items, and I ended up walking all of the aisles looking for anything else that might catch my attention. It's like a Ranch 99 where it has everything from herbs, chinese medicines, cookware, asian clothing and slippers, fresh groceries, meats, frozen items, dry goods, snacks, condiments, plants, the list goes on! I'm a fan of this market as they have a wide variety of products from many Asian countries. I was looking for Yuzu juice from Japan and found that plus many sake types, vinegars, noodles, soups and hot sauces galore. They have a wide selection of incense, a variety of chopsticks and a whole section with cookware and dinnerware. The snack section is well-stocked with a variety of chips and gummies and chocolates. They also carry the ginger candies that I cannot find other places. It would take a long time to try all of the products in this store. The building seems to have been an old grocery store from the late 50s or early 60s with limited parking along the side of the building and a few spaces in front. If you park on the side you will need to drive around the back of the building in order to come back around front and exit the way you came in. Are usually come during the week days so parking isn't a big problem The lady who usually runs the store is friendly, willing to help you find things or check prices if you can't find what the price is.
