This is my mom's go-to Asian grocery in the area for canned goods, frozen goods, and sauces. They have some produce but not a ton. No hot/prepared food. They have a large variety of Asian stuff, from Chinese to Japanese to Thai to Vietnamese to Korean to Indian. As well as some African and South American products! There's another Asia Mart towards Cotati that has slightly less variety. Small parking lot.

IMO this is easily the best Asian food store in Santa Rosa. They have a great variety of different goods, dry foods, frozen foods, non alcoholic drinks, alcohol, noodles and even have an organic section. They also make great spring rolls and Bahn mi's that you can pick up at the counter when purchasing your goods. The selection of teas are quite vast and they have a lot of traditional Chinese remedies (TCM) and herbs you can purchase over the counter that are great quality. It's also a really fun store to wander through and look at everything, and I'm definitely not the type of person who normally enjoys wandering through stores. Personally my favorite part of this place is that they carry my favorite hot-sauce, 'Lingham's hot sauce extra hot'. If you're a connoisseur when it comes to spicy food and hot sauces this is the one for you. It's a must try. Delicious and still very spicy, hard combo to attain but they did it. Also when Girlfriend and I went in last we got boba ice cream that was amazing, if you love sweet treats those are a must as well.

The best Asian market I have found in Sonoma County. Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Thai, Viet, Indian, and my favorite Hawaii products! Best Asian herbs and produce too! So happy I found this place as I miss having access to all my Asian and 808 products I took for granted when living in Las Vegas.

Every Friday, the market hosts an exceptional outdoor produce market that is a feast for the senses. It might might bring memories of Thailand rushing back, it did for me and my Thai mother-in-law, who excitedly told me the name of her favorite veggies, and what dishes to use them in. There are veggies used in traditional U.S. dishes available as well, but we rarely see freshness like this at other markets. On Fridays there is so much business that Aroon Thai has set up an outdoor cashier, so service is as speedy as possible. Hot Tip: If you're planning on checking out the Friday Outdoor Produce Market, go early to ensure you get the best selection of fresh-made Thai goodies, rolls, and sandwiches.

From instant chai to vermicelli, it's a great one stop shop for your fridge and pantry. Happy cooking!

They have the best Pita bread. I have had good service from the people working there except for one older man who I think is the owner. Every time he is working there he is very grumpy looking and he glares at me like he doesn't want me there or something. I usually just ignore it, but the last time I went there he was extremely RUDE and disrespectful. I left without buying my items and I will never go back. I noticed there was another customer commenting here who noticed the same thing about this man when he shopped there. He should not be working in customer service.

My first visit when I needed help Irene was quick to come over and showed me where the pickled turnips were. I felt quite welcome. My second visit a few weeks later I found the garam masala easily but had difficulty finding a couple of other herbs so asked the gentleman up front for assistance and he was most gracious. He found one easily but the other was a bit more difficult. He told me to finish my shopping as he searched and sure enough, a few minutes later he came over to me and gave me the Asafoetida. At checkout I mentioned that I had just gotten into Indian cinema and loved Aamir Khan, two of his films, PK and Laal Singh Chaddha (An Indian remake of Forrest Gump that was portrayed so brilliantly by Aamir Khan.) being some of my favorites. He then wrote down the name of another film for me to enjoy. And today I visited again and got everything I needed ( I love those MTR Minute meals! Just pop the packet in boiling water and in 5 minutes a delicious meal for when I am too tired to cook.) and checked out. My bag was a bit heavy and as soon as I paid Irene, she was up front today, picked it up and said she'd bring it to my car. (These days I am having mobility issues and use a cane.) I am sorry others have had a bad experience but for me I love this place. I have always gotten great service and love the selection. And I am not one to write reviews, I've written less than 10 on Yelp. Many thanks to Apna, and thank you Irene. :-) I hope I spelled your name correctly.
