This clean well organized market is amazing. Their produce department has very fair prices for very fresh products plus weekly specials. The meat and fish department has all kinds of beef ready to grill, plus frozen octopus and some cooked meats. This place is awesome! Their meat counter is awesome. Pastry selections are fresh and awesome! And they make the best store bought tamales I've ever had. They have a wide variety of tamale choices. Ranging from your typical pork with red sauce, chicken with green sauce. But they also make some vegetarian ones. They have a corn one, and also a mushroom one. Brand new just opened June 2022. Located in the old Frank Howard Allen Realty office behind the mattress store and in front of Zimi Pizza. This is a small format market. About 1/4 the size of the Lola's market on Petaluma Hill road. Carries essentials in the total of four aisles plus the meat market and the beverage refrigerators. I bought some produce. All was fresh. Tiny bakery selection case. I bought a bread roll and some churros. Not earth shattering great quality but certainly very good. Hopefully the local neighborhood will support the market. It's located several miles from 2 Safeways and Oliver's. No kitchen here, so no tacos or other prepared lunch items. read more

Finally, a quality Mexican market on the East side of SR! This gem is tucked behind the mattress store at Hwy 12 and Mission Blvd. I couldn't resist a peek when it opened and was delighted by the find. Beautiful produce displayed like fine art. Rows of Mexican brand food, candies, snacks and pottery. Everything is impeccably tidy. But the treasure is all in the back - a gorgeous meat case proudly tended by a real live butcher. He actually makes the chorizo which is tasty and lean although not spicy. There is fresh pan dulce and authentic hot tamales in a steamer at the checkout. Yelpers, these are the real deal! Please support this wonderful LOCAL business even if you just stop in to grab fresh guacamole, salsa and chips. Absolutely love it so much! We have eaten tacos for dinner since they first opened up! Then we had more taco at the wonderful grand opening with mariachi band, clown, music and raffle and more! Very friendly and welcoming. We love it here and our kids do too!! read more

I love it here.my brother recommended this market to me because it reminds him of the ones back home in Chico and his wife who is from Brazil can find her things easily. Today I went early morning with my two kids on the hunt for Champurrado supplies and a woman with blue hair was so helpful in helping me find what I needed! I am so grateful to her.as we were leaving I saw that they were grilling up some meat that looked delsih. I know I will be back. My son said he wanted to return next Sunday. read more

I am happy to have this market nearby. It's never seems to be too busy which can be a good and bad thing. Good b/c I don't have to wait but might not always be enough business to turnover meat and produce. The meat looked good and I had everything I needed to make Arroz Rojo and Fish Tacos. Staff was very friendly. My disappointments were the cilantro and can opener I bought. The cilantro had what appeared to be weeds bundled with the cilantro. Looked like grass. Had to pick them all out before using. The can opener was very poor quality. Broke after one can. Too much of a hassle to try to return. read more

I've been wanting to visit this market for ages and I'm so glad I finally did! Such a neat, well-organized store with lots of products and friendly staff. Gorgeous display of produce, the butcher counter has a beautiful selection of meats that all looked so good it was hard to choose (we went with arrachera marinada), but the bakery case of fresh pan dulces really won my heart. The conchas are lighter than air and besos are some of the best things I've ever eaten. I'm looking forward to going back! read more

I love this little market! It is small in comparison to the size of Oliver's and Safeway, but the quality of everything we have bought here has been excellent. The market is clean and the people working there are all very nice and friendly. I am not a Spanish speaking customer (although I am learning) and I have always been very well treated at this market. The fresh meats have been very good and prices are also reasonable. I especially love the freshly cooked carnitas! The butcher gave us samples and we ended up buying carnitas as well as some marinated beef that we put on the barbeque. If there is one negative it would be the size. I would love if they made a larger bakery area and started selling beer and wine. Other than that it is one of my favorite places. read more
