Really consistent place. The sushi is always super fresh and yummy, and the Chinese food is equally delicious. They have a huge menu so there are plenty of options. Good place to stop by for cheap sushi/Asian food, I'd recommend getting delivery instead- always super fast (I've never waited more than 45 minutes for my food to get there, usually closer to 20-30) and the restaurant itself is somewhat small and out of the way. The food is good for the price, and delivery has always served me well! If you're vegan/veggie, there's a lot of options here for you too, which was definitely a plus in my book. read more

Went with a coworker for lunch. The food is definitely good for the price point, and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed and intimate. The space itself is pretty small, without much customer traffic, which contributes to that. Although the area could certainly be cleaner, you get what you pay for, perhaps even more. read more

Originally gave them 4 stars, but in the last 6 months of going there, I had to update it to 5. There are six sushi places along the two block strip of Sheepshead Bay road. So it's easy to dismiss Yoshinoya because it is the smallest and the least flashy. But it has equal quality sushi at much better prices. It seems to be a home away from home for many. Usually busy in the evenings, even on a Monday night. They keep changing names thought, is it Tenda now? Otherwise, the sushi is typical for the area. They're heavy on the rice though, at least for the regular rolls. read more

This is my go-to place for take-out sushi. The restaurant itself is on the small side, but if you want to order out, this is the place for you! The prices are some of the cheapest in the area and that's saying something considering this place is surrounded by at least five other restaurants on the same street. If you want to go eat at a restaurant with good ambiance and atmosphere, then I wouldn't really recommend it because it's designed towards takeout. The sushi itself is really good, comparable to every other place in the area, and I would say it's on my top ten list! I have been a customer for over a year ,and I have no complains until these last few days. 1-they are not steaming the vegetables good. 2-They are making mistakes on the orders. For example today I was placing two orders. So I ordered steamed chicken with steamed vegetables, really simple how is it possible that they send me chicken with shrimp mixed inside, this is crazy. Also I told her I wanted an order of chicken teriyaki and she asked me soup or salad I told her salad please and no salad was send to me but it was put on the bill. Plus the order of chicken teriyaki was really small that maybe for my little dog it might have been good enough. I call to complain about the size and she was trying to charge me more for a new order. I did not want it anymore. Always check your bill they easily will charge you more. After today they lost me as a customer because they did not apologize . And after spending $26 and having to wait like an hour because of her mistake definitely not ordering from there no more. read more
