Awesome decor in this place. This photo does this tree no Justice. The lights are so bright, pure amazing.

Came back here looking forward to another good night after a basketball tournament. I was dead wrong. First off the waitresses have a huge attitude like you owe them something. It was a bother for them to get you refills or to take your empty plates away. I asked for crab leg crackers and she yelled something like go to the front. I go to the front and no one is around, so forget trying to eat crab legs that have been over boiled and too soft to even crack. They just bend around and get you frustrated. Now for the quality of food they have, boneless ribs are so tough you can't even bite into unless you have steel teeth that have been sharpened to razor blade quality. The chicken which has a lot to choose from is all pretty much doughy and super hard as well. The shrimp all still had their intestinal tract still in place. I'm not talking about one kind over another, fried, walnut shrimp, you name it all full of it. Now if you happen to loose your appetite and have room for desert go try as you might get some soft serve ice cream. I tried to get vanilla ice cream to no avail, so then let's try the chocolate/vanilla mix which I had hope for. The machine banging and roared to life only to shoot out some of the most liquid mix of nastiness. I wrote this review in all honestly. I will never come back to this establishment. Judging from my previous review it gives me great shame to leave this review. They do say have a great night on the way out though.

Lots of fun stuff like their original ribs peanut chicken. Chicken meatballs a hot dog thingy and there's a crazy good stuffed shrimp

Variety is key and this place has got it. Mongolian grill, sushi and maki, salad, sweets, and of course very good Chinese style food. I was particularly taken by the many appetizer items. The stuffed shrimp were crazy good I can't figure out how they made them. The food here is exceptional for a buffet place huge array of choices and a nice variety of beef pork chicken shrimp and fish. I was very impressed. The dining area is large and fun. The staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoy.

Food is mediocre at best. A large selection of foods offsets the so so taste to give it an ok rating. 3 stars. Foods include all the normal foods at these types of restaurants but this one also has a sushi bar area. French fries, chicken nuggets, onion rings available for the kids who aren't into the Chinese food.

3 stars for what it is: a fast-food buffet. For an Asian buffet located in a small village this place is better than the norm. This is a good bad cino-american spot. Selection, however not optimal, is quite satisfactory. Great coconut shrimp and BBQ ribs. Desert selection is barely passable. Staff: 3 were there on that day. 2 excessively friendly and 1 quite abrupt.

The Chicken Bulgogi was marinated chicken on rice with a taste of kimchi on the side. Great meal, great couple, hope they keep succeeding for a long time.

When we got there, we were greeted and sat at the hibachi grill instantly. There was one other table, with about 5 people, when we were sat. Our waitress was over within a couple minutes to take our food and drink orders. Within a couple minutes of ordering, my wife and I were brought a ginger salad and miso soup. The ginger salad was your typical ginger salad with crunchy vegetables and bright dressing. The miso soup was some of the most flavorful miso soup I have ever had, and it made me want a second bowl seeing it was a colder day. To start I ordered a spicy maki combo sushi, which consisted of spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, and spicy salmon rolls. The sushi came out relatively fast, and was very presentable. All of the sushi tasted fresh, and did not have that fishy taste that I have had with getting these rolls at other restaurants. After a little while, our hibachi chef came to our table, greeted us, and had us move to the seats in front of the grill, seeing we were the only two at the table. He started off by making sure he had the correct orders for us, and then lit the grill on fire, which had a very nice warmth to it. The chef did a great job putting on a show for us, while cooking our food! Our chef also had some good throws, when myself and my wife both caught pieces of broccoli in our mouths. The chef was also funny and squirted water into both of our mouths, from a bottle that had a top that looked like a child was peeing the liquid out . The chef made sure to tell us everything he was doing while he cooked our food. I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi with fried rice, vegetables, and 2 shrimp. The vegetables had a great cook on them, with that distinct teriyaki flavor. The steak and chicken were both cooked well. I was gladly surprised the chicken didn't have that dry/squeaky texture it some times can. The rice was okay, it had good flavor but seemed slightly over done. The 2 pieces of shrimp were good but nothing to write home about. Overall, we had a great time. Our hibachi chef was amazing, and my wife and I will be back in the future.

The Long Version: My husband and I got takeout from The Hot Wok for dinner when we were staying in Perth. All their food is packaged as takeout, but they do have seating where you can eat your takeout food, just no table service. We decided to take the food back to our hotel room instead. We got the Bang Bang Chicken ($18.25) and the Shrimp Pad Ki Mow ($19.50). I called my order in and we walked there to pick it up. I was told it would take about 30 minutes to be ready. (They make everything to order.) We arrived after 30 minutes and our food was ready as promised. The lady on the phone was very courteous and I think she was the same lady at the pickup counter. The Bang Bang Chicken was listed on the menu as "Lightly breaded chicken tossed in a creamy honey sauce, on a bed of greens." It did not mention sesame seeds were sprinkled on top and I forgot to say "no sesame seeds" with my order so I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't really eat this dish, but that was on me. I was able to manage a few bites that didn't have sesame seeds on them (I can handle mild contamination) and I found the meat a bit dry, but the outside was pleasantly crispy and the honey sauce was pleasant. The "bed of greens" was actually raw shredded cabbage and carrots in a creamy sauce. I was asked how spicy I wanted this dish and I said medium, but it wasn't spicy at all, like not even mildly spicy, lol. Don't worry, the food didn't go to waste, as my husband ate it. The dish came with a small serving of steamed white rice. The rice was good, not too mushy nor too dry. The Shrimp Pad Ki Mow was tasty, albeit a tad too oily for me. It had 6 large shrimp, which were all properly deveined. They were plump and juicy. The dish also had broccoli, cauliflower, onions, carrots and Bok Choy. I was happy to see they were very generous with the vegetables. You have the option of having this dish with rice noodles or rice, I chose the noodles since that's what traditional Pad Ki Mow is. However, the noodles used were rather thin, like even thinner than traditional Pad Thai noodles. I like the wider noodles that typically come with Pad Ki Mow (or as I usually know it as, Pad Kee Mao). I was also asked what spice level I wanted this dish and I also said medium, and for this dish, it was a true medium as it had a spicy kick to it. They have their own private parking lot in front of the restaurant that is shared with their next door neighbour Jersey Joe's. Review #42 (2025)

The hubby recently got takeout from Nom Nom a couple of weeks ago, and forgot how good it was, while it has been a couple of years since I've had takeout from here. We ordered the sesame balls, veggie spring rolls, sweet potato croquettes, tofu spicy fried noodles, and Singapore noodles. The sesame balls and the veggie spring rolls were reminiscent of the stuff you'd get at an AYCE restaurant, but they were still good. The sweet potato croquettes was a first for me, and they were very much like a large hash brown, but super fluffy inside. My suggestion is to wait for them to cool down a bit and eat them warm or room temperature. My toddler loved these, but I thought they were just OK. The Korean spicy fried noodles was the star of the show, although a bit too greasy for my liking, they did hit the spot. I really enjoyed their take on cooking tofu. I think they took deep fried puffed tofu, flattened it down and fried it with the noodles, where it resembled sliced pork. There was a lot of nice color to it, as well as a slight char, and the texture was amazing. Keep it mind, it was a tad greasy as well. I didn't care for the Singapore noodles. My hubby loves this dish, but said he's had it made better else where, so its all personal preference. I do like that you can customize a lot of the meals into vegetarian meals, so major kudos to that. I don't crave Asian cuisine all that often, so I don't think I will be rushing back, but it was nice to switch things up and try out something new.
