The food is always great and there are lots of varieties. They have my favorites like beef or chicken with broccoli, stir fry rice, won ton soup, sushi, peel and eat shrimp, sauteed green beans, sauteed mushrooms, plus they have a Mongolian grill for make your own dishes. There are fruits, veggies, desserts... a really nice variety. The ice cream machine used to be broken a lot but they got a new one. The restaurant is always clean and the service is quick and attentive. I highly recommend dining here. read more

This was the first time I've eaten at this restaurant in over 23 years. It is about the same as it was back then. For all of the various buffet tables, the variety was lacking. One buffet table was all American style food. One had the soups and appetizers. Another had deserts and fruit. There was only one table that actually had Asian dishes. Those consisted of beef with broccoli, chicken with broccoli, scallion pork, fried rice, vegetable lo mein and rice noodles. They do have a Mongolian style create your own dish line, I didn't have time to try it. The food I had was alright, but nothing stunning. For $12.99 I expected much more variety. With a drink and a small tip I paid around $19. Not sure I'll be going back any time soon. As far as the cleanliness and decor it was very typical for an all you can eat restaurant. You get exactly what you expect from a typical Asian buffet here! I love this place, the food is always fresh and stocked. Not the best chinese food in the world but you can definitely get your moneys worth here. The customer service is great, the waiters will make sure your table is cleared of old plates and that your drink is always full. My parents wanted to try this place. I'd say it's OK. Much better than most Chinese restaurants in Killeen. At least it feels cleaner and feels organized. I'm not use to the flavors here. I guess being in California surrounded by Chinese restaurants competing within half a block of each other, I'm accustomed to certain Chinese food flavors. Especially Cantonese style cooking. Here there's an additional flavor that I can't put my finger on it. Is it additional five spice? More salt? Not sure but it's different and foreign. Like beef broccoli has a overlay of a spice. It wasn't bad. I'd give the broccoli a 3 out of 5/5. It seems broccoli was not blanched long enough. It's ok. And some of my favorite dishes were kinda salty. Food overall here is decent. The desserts are typical any Asian buffet I've been to. I'm just not use to the additional sugary sweetness. My suggestion for this restaurant is to reduce sugar in their gelatin and pudding. Not use to this crazy sweetness. The sweet tea...is SWEET TEA. Would be nice if it was reduced too. I added cold water to see if I can dilute it. Paid $18.39 for single all you can eat with no soft drink(sodas). With a drink would be $21.00 ish. There's a self serve drink area . You'll get your moneys worth here. Food is pretty aight mostly common dishes found in an all you can eat, sushi area, fried area, Mongolian bowls and much more. Service is good, staff takes care of you and keeps your area clean as soon as possible. Came in near 8 pm and ambiance was nicely lit which made the food go down much easier. read more

We used to go to the buffet for take out a couple times a month. Due to my husband's hearing issues, he has issue with public places and the noise in them, so we prefer to do take out. We went there twice recently and both times the food was so hot that we could not even finish what we paid for. Ended up in the trash. The first time since a change in ownership was to celebrate a special occasion and when we got the food home, it was inedible. It was so hot that it burnt our tongues, lips and throat. Not to mention our stomach was upset for a couple of days afterward. Last night we decided to give them another shot, thinking that maybe it was different from the last time. Boy, were we wrong, once again the food was inedible and extremely hot. Felt like there was a bottle of cayenne in the food. We understand that there will be some heat, but not at the level it was. Prior to new ownership the food was delicious, seasoned well and made us want to come back for more. The food was just hitting different today, well yesterday... it's 1 am the nxt day. Came back home and knocked out bcus I ate way too much there for the first time. Day Visited: Saturday Time: 1:00PM I decided to read the reviews of this Buffet before we went and it left me worried. Overall it ended up in a neutral experience. Food: There were quite a few proteins. I tried the boneless Ribs, Sesame Chicken and Bourbon Chicken. Compared to my experience in other Chinese restaurants the meat was lackluster. You could taste flavor and the food was served hot but it lacked the quality that sets it over the competition. Dessert was subpar. Ice cream seemed to be more crystallized than smooth, Most of the sheet style desserts lacked flavor. There were a ton of fruits but the Grapes surprised us by having seeds. Threw my little eat one by surprise. Service: There was a wide variety of stuff to eat and the staff made sure the lines stayed clean and full. Staff was nice enough to get out first drinks. They also made sure to come by to grab empty plates from our table. Ambiance: The building seems old. Dimly lit in the seating areas a few TVs scattered around and some greasy feeling floors near the serving lines. I think one major improvement would be to repair the booth seats and chairs. Booths had a lot of seats with rips and tears that were very obvious while some of the chairs at our table were not even and would heavily lean back onto one corner leg. Overall I think the experience was OK but not great. We all ate enough and price was in an ok range for the meals. Kids under 10 also get a discounted rate. 3 and under eat free. I called ahead for a reservation for a party of 20-30 on a busy 5pm Sunday. They were very accommodating, had a table ready for us. Even though my party trickled in up to 45 minutes late and only 20 showed they still let us have the extra seats. It's not fine dining, but the food was good and a wide variety on the menu. They even have a section where you pick your protein and veggies and they cook to order right in front of you. The service was attentive and seamless. It is a buffet none the less so expectations can not be high because as much as the staff tries to keep the restaurant clean, the customers make it dirty all the time. However, food is decent at least some of the food that is out on display for the buffet. I will not be reviewing everything that is in the restaurant just what I picked. I picked the spare ribs, the egg noodles, the orange chicken and the fried chicken as well as the sushi and their take on coconut shrimp. The spare ribs are over seasoned with paprika but tasted good. It was not overcooked whatsoever but way too overpowering. The orange chicken was overcooked, some pieces were too small. I guess they got stingy. The fried chicken was exceptionally dry from the inside, definitely do not recommend. Cocounut shrimp was dry as well their is no sauce just spickets of cocounut sauce. Too dry for my liking. And the sushi, don't even get me started. They have a variety of sushi to choose from but it is fair in taste. I get it, they rather focus on other foods rather than the sushi portion but if you are going to create a specified sushi bar, make the sushi good and not sub par. The environment was friendly, all the servers are waiting to bring you refills. It is always packed but the price was a bit too high for me on a Sunday. $12 per person is a bit too pricey especially for the quality of food, which is not poor but it could be better. I would be coming back to this buffet as it is my preferred place rather than going to Yank Sink in Killeen. read more

What's with all the bad reviews? Ima give it a 5 star to help the rating because I have come here almost 15 times now and every time I have come the foods been great. I take my section here for bonding time because it's only like $10 for all you can eat. You can't beat that! Sushi is basic sushi if you want fancy stuff go pay $20 a roll somewhere else. They got all sorts of options! Food for everyone, if you want a plate full of chicken you got it, if you want some fresh stir fry they got it, this place is so underrated that it people are just picky picky.
