First time here and will definitely make sure to come back. The restaurant itself has that kpop vibe. Service was great & food came out pretty quick. I got a salmon bento and it was a lot of food for the price. I packed half and I was happy with the portions.

My first time coming here with my boyfriend we ordered takeout right when we got there we received service immediately which I appreciate so much! I ordered the combination poke bowl with the Diablo roll both contain raw tuna. Both were tasty but I did add my spicy mayo when I got home just needed a little more flavor in my poke, My boyfriend ordered the chicken cupbop which comes with rice & veggies fried chicken is tossed in a sweet & sour kind of sauce he enjoyed it along with his crunch munch roll! I'm giving this place 4 stars because it was a little messy inside you can tell that they're understaffed which can be an inconvenience if you have a large party! But I enjoyed the food will be going back hopefully when I do it will look cleaner!

First time at Cupbop. We ordered two sushi rolls, a ramen and a combination fried rice. The food came out quickly and it smelled delicious. We asked the person for some soy sauce and she pointed to the counter. We thought it odd that she didn't bring it to us since she went, sat and was on her device. I thought the ramen looked a lot like it was from a can. The chicken bits were small and the green onions were sparse. I thought the ramen and rice were bland. Both sushi rolls were excellent and fresh. When we went to get our sodas one of the cups was dirty. I would recommend the Diablo roll and fried tempura roll but everything else was meh.

Staff is friendly and welcoming! This was a nice environment to relax and enjoy lunch. The sushi rice is fresh and has a great texture. I will definitely be back!

So underrated and always empty inside!! I love this place so much and the food is amazing. I always recommend it to everybody I know. The atmosphere is nice and even though the decorations are a bit odd, it's not uncomfortable. I wish this place had more traction!

    Spring rolls dripping in grease.

I gave them another chance. I remember the first time I tried this restaurant last year. That time it was very good, clean restaurant and the people were shy but friendly. I was there today, and when I walked in, no one said a thing. I get it, ok, it wasn't busy, there was only two other people in the restaurant. I stand there looking at the menu, ordered and I'm immediately turned off by the receipt. Why do you have to tip someone for taking your order? I looked for the sweet tea, but it was empty. I asked the cashier if they had any other tea in the back, he said that he didn't know. I asked the guy making the sushi the same thing, he just looked at me like I was from Mars. I get my spring rolls first, they are dripping in grease and the peanut sauce is thick and almost lumpy. My salmon poke came out, and I was surprised at the amount of salmon that I was given, more than usual. I soon found out why. It wasn't fresh and they were probably trying to get rid of it. Needless to say, I left there vowing to try and find a good sushi restaurant in the area.

We went here for lunch today. Most reviews said the place was quiet and for it being between 12 and 1. We were the only people there. Prices were cheap and plates were minimal. I'm not a fan of room temp sushi which the tuna sashimi was the salmon however was cold. The gyoza was a little too fried and soy sauce was extremely salty. The miso was also very salty. The waitress was attentive and sweet. It was a quiet uneventful lunch.

BEST NEW SUSHI PLACE IN TOWN! If you live here you know the struggle to find good sushi is real! I went simple and got a California roll with cream cheese but wow it was so fresh and delicious. My first bite I was oh okay so this place is Good Good. We also got mango Mochi, and it was great. Super delicious, go check them out!

Food was very good and they gave good portions. I got the fried chicken cupbop and fried dumplings (gyoza) they both tasted really good. I can usually eat a lot of food but the portions they gave was so much I was barely able to finish. I highly recommend this place and would go back. I ordered for pickup during ice storm.

This place is always amazing. Very quiet and relaxing environment and great food. I ordered a new hot chicken chili cupbob and it was so good! Very spicy but I loved the flavor. This place never disappoints. Great sushi and great food!

    Spicy tuna

I wanted sushi and was pleased to find they had some Korean food items on the menu. I tried the spicy pork and my sushi choice was spicy tuna roll and a baked scallop roll with a side salad with ginger dressing. Didn't get very much help in identifying any rolls on the menu but it may have been because the young server behind the counter wasn't very fluent in English and the dinner shift hadn't came in yet. I enjoyed the spicy tuna and it was very fresh. The spicy pork was more sweet than spicy but was tender. The scallop roll was to cheesy and also had a overly sweetness. There are plenty of different sushi rolls and other noodle dishes on the menu and I plan on trying a few soon. You order at the counter and have a seat in a fast food type dining area. You also get your own plastic silverware and fountain drinks. I prefer a more full service type atmosphere for the price but may be a sign of the times.

When you walk in you order at the counter and grab your own utensils & drink. We ordered gyoza it was good my kids really enjoyed it, my son got the chicken cupbob it tasted pretty good but the breading was completely falling off right when you touch it. I was not that impressed with the sushi rolls, on some of the rolls the rice was loose and falling apart once it hit the soy sauce so that was a little disappointing. It was nice to try a new place out but I can't say I would be a returning customer as there are better sushi places around.

We visited at lunchtime during the week. My main takeaway was that the sushi lacked of flavor.

I was handed my drink cup and a number to place on my table. I had barely gotten my drink and set it on the table and the soup, salad bowl, and a plate with two corn muffins was available to pick up. The salad bar had a lot of fresh options! The iceberg lettuce, salad greens, and the spinach was fresh with no wilted pieces that I could see. To name a few, they had Kalamata olives, beets, thinly sliced cucumber and radish, artichoke hearts, pepperoncinis, many different freshly made dressings, crisp, buttery croutons and even a few desserts. There also a large variety of fountain drinks and several different tea varieties to choose from. Employees were constantly wiping down the salad bar and replenishing items. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and will be back next time I am in the area!

5 out of 5 Living in…read morethe Austin area, you don't expect to find a legit Korean pocha experience in Killeen, but K1 & Bobapop is exactly that--a solid bar food and drinks spot that knows what it is and does it well. We've driven past this place countless times on our way from Austin to Dallas, finally gave it a shot, and we're glad we did. ---- Pros: - Great Korean bar food (pocha-style) - Solid drink menu (soju, soju slushes, and beer) - K-pop music videos playing on the TVs sets the mood - Karaoke bar and Bobapop (boba/desserts) - Open late (until 2 AM Thu-Sat) - Ample parking - Call button at each table for service Side Notes: - Opens at 4 PM daily (Sun opens at noon, closes at 10 PM) - Can get busy on weekends - plan accordingly - Delivery available through DoorDash and Uber Eats What We Got: - Soy Garlic Wings - Galbi - Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes) - Kimchi Fries - Corn Cheese - Soju + Terra ---- Design/Space: K1 has that authentic Korean pub feel - neon signs, K-pop videos on the TVs, and a trendy but casual vibe that makes you feel like you're at a late-night spot in Seoul, not off the Central Texas Expressway. The space is on the smaller, more intimate side, so tables are close together, but that's standard for a pocha. It works for the vibe they're going for. The Bobapop section is a nice touch if you want boba or dessert after, and having karaoke next door gives you a reason to stay longer. It's well thought out as an all-in-one experience. Services/Staff: This is where K1 really impressed us. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. We were greeted right away, and our server walked us through the menu without making us feel rushed. The call button at the table is a nice touch - you press it when you need something, so you're not awkwardly flagging someone down (typical in LA, but not in Austin much). Drinks were refilled, and food came out at a good pace. Compared to some other Korean spots we've been to in the area, the energy here felt right for a pocha--friendly, casual, and lively without being over the top. Food/Drinks: I want to be clear - this is bar food, and that's exactly what it should be. K1 isn't trying to be a fine dining Korean restaurant, and that's what makes it work. It's a pocha. You come here for good fried chicken, some rice cakes, cold soju, and a good time. And on that front, they deliver. Opportunities to Enhance: A couple of small things. One, for how good this place is, more people need to know about it - their social media and online presence could use a push, because this spot deserves more foot traffic. Two, being Korean, would love to see more bar food bites from Korea, but might live octopus with sesame oil + salt might not be something the area is ready for, haha. Again, these are minor--the core of what they're doing is already solid. ---- Summary: K1 & Bobapop is exactly what Killeen needed - a legit Korean pocha experience with great bar food, solid drinks, and a fun atmosphere. It's a spot where you go to eat good fried chicken, drink soju, watch K-pop videos, maybe sing some karaoke, and have a great time. We'll absolutely be back, and if you're in the Killeen/Fort Cavazos area and haven't tried it yet, you're sleeping on one of the best spots in town. Keep doing what you're doing, K1.

We ordered 3 ramens, 1 cheese buldak, 2 yaki sobas, 1 chicken tenders, 1 large boneless (soy garlic & regular sweet & spicy flavors), 1 bulgogi fries, 2 chocolate milkshakes, 1 chocolate milk tea with boba, 1 soju slushie I think?, 1 coke, and 1 Dos Equis on tap. Plus 1 tteokbokki to go. Total came out to $266 and some change. Service was alright. They didn't bring out the drinks and utensils before the food came out. And, for a large party you would expect more water than their one standard size be provided for the table. We had a small spill at the table and the servers didn't show much urgency to help us clean up, as we had to ask for napkins multiple times both for the table and the spill. Our party agreed in the end that we would probably prefer takeout from here in the future since we enjoyed the food, but not the service.
