Ordered the Yaki Mandu (fried mandu), shumai (steamed dumpling), Gal Bi (beef short ribs), Gyeongsangdo beef soup, Bi Bim Bop (rice & beef vegetables), Chicken Yaki-soba, and Chicken Katsu. Majority of the food was pretty flavorful. The yaki-soba isn't the usual yaki-soba that I'm used to. The mandu, shumai, and katsu were ok. Gal Bi is delicious, but really expensive for the portion. The soup and Bi Bim Bop were also delicious. The staff are fast and friendly. The parking lot is small and they have lots of tables to dine at. Found this spot scrolling through Yelp & I'm glad I pulled up. I ordered the Bulgogi and without a doubt that dish was heat. I'm used to eating at BCD Tofu House and the transition to here is a good choice. I was full after eating everything, even mixing my remaining rice in the leftover seasoning and oil. This place changed ownership again. Which means the menu has changed. It looks the same but they don't serve what's listed. IE the bento box did come with 3 pieces of California roll and a tempera shrimp. Now it comes with 2 pieces of something, no shrimp and a salad. With all these changes means there is also recipes changes. Spicy pork bulgogi is just not the same! The place is cleaner and service is better. But I wish we could go back 5 years to the original owners. We were just starting to get it worked out with the last crew. I've ordered from here for almost a year and it was always very good. Ordered tonight, and they must have changed cooks or owner because the food was horrible. It lacked flavor as well as "seafood". The Soondubu had a couple of small mussels in it, the size of a clam, and it had four little pea sized pieces of squid. The Seafood pancake also had maybe a dozen pea sized pieces of squid in it and that was it. Everything was bad. I won't be ordering from here again. Like the other reviews mentioned, the change of ownership 2 months ago ruined everything. I still remember the last time we were there, the Korean couple made our dishes and everything was good. This time we went in portions are smaller and everything doesn't taste right. It's sad that the taste tells us there's a change in ownership and when we asked the cashier, he confirmed it. I hope they still have the previous owner's contact and can ask them for the original recipes and follow them. Unless they do that I don't think I will ever go back. read more

The food did not taste like Korean food. The older Korean man and woman were not on sight. Young Mexican men cooked and served food that, although it wasn't horrible, simple didn't taste like authentic Korean cuisine. being a native to killeen I am not new to korean meals as they are on my top 2 cultures in foods i could eat forever. Kimchi Hana has seen all amazing owners and has another that is here to stay for years to come. Which I have to admit this is another blessing to our community that some might not attempt to see but if you want warm hearted family service to back it up with traditional meals that (in my opinion) have the most authenticity in flavor to renew your soul while in a quiet family atmosphere this is definitely the place to go. Since I randomly gave them a try I cant wait to go back and already told friends and family hoping for the excuse to eat there. they are on door dash as well which is good to know. read more

I ordered the bulgogi (beef) from here and have to say it was pretty good. I can't really comment as to its authenticity but I enjoyed it and the portion I got was worth the price, maybe even a little generous. The service was pretty fast too; I ordered (to-go) maybe an hour before closing and was able to pick up my food in less than 10 minutes and the cashier was very pleasant on the phone and in person. All in all, was this the best Korean food I've ever had? No, but you could certainly do a lot worse than this place. And I didn't even get any sides with it. Where is the kimchi? Isn't their name Kimchi Hana? Don't they know they are supposed to serve kimchi with the food? So mad over this. The satellite dishes are just as good, if not maybe even a little better (a couple of them), as the ones you get in Korea. I had the Panko fried chicken patties (ENORMOUS), and my husband had the beef bulgogi. And the two of us are foodies - - we love to eat - - but still there was enough food for four people. I was excited to return after 6 years but will be looking for a new restaurant for my bulgogi fix. The cucumber kimchi, however, was good. The staff is very friendly and get the orders correct. In my experience getting a order correct is a huge deal to many people and I am one of those. It tells me they are actually listening and then double checking the order. Food is great tasting and the portions exceeded our expectations with very reasonable prices. They even gave extra kimchi which was very thoughtful considering the number of people we were ordering for. This is our second time. I never post a first time whether good or bad. This is a cute little place nestled within downtown. You go in and seat yourself and then a waitress will give you a menu. I like when you ask for water and they give you big glasses of water. The only thing I have tried here is the Galbi and it is my favorite thing here. I would definitely recommend it. My wife has had the bulgolgi and says it is very good also. They do give side dishes also which consist of kimchi, cucumber kimchi, bean sprout, radish, fish cakes, and others I can't remember at the time being. They have a good amount of seating and a TV that seems to be on the national geographic channel most of the time though I reckon if you were to ask to change the channel they would let you. The waitress is very nice and attentive and when you are finished you must go to the front register to pay for your meal and after you are allowed a sucker which I never refuse. The bathroom I believe is in the back left and the paintings and decor is quite cozy. The only thing I do not like about here is that the miso soup is too salty. Whenever I would take a sip I noticed it was so salty it was almost unbearable. I would have to add my water to the soup to make it better. I would still recommend this place as it is the best Korean place I have been to in Killeen. read more
