Being an East Coast girl, I've always heard about In-N-Out Burger so when I had the chance to try one in Killeen, Texas, I took it. After reading many reviews, trying to figure out how to make the most of a simple menu, I went for a double double animal style with animal fries and a strawberry milkshake. I went through the drive-through probably end of prime lunch time on a Sunday. They had a gentleman out there taking orders kind of similar to what Chick-fil-A does. My meal cost me just over $12. I probably waited about 5 to 7 minutes from start to finish. So fairly quick service and no issues there. I definitely understand why people say to get animal fries. In-N-Out has probably some of the worst fries I've ever eaten, but at least with the animal style it added more flavor. Even so I only ate about a quarter of my french fries. The fries by themselves without any of the animal sauce were lacking in flavor and just blah not worth the calories. Now for the burger I got a double double. I'm not normally a double meat kind of girl but based on other reviews decided to give it a whirl. The burger was very messy to eat and I would probably take the tomato off since it was more soggy with it on and it was already messy enough with the sauce. As soon as I took a bite it started falling apart. Have plenty of napkins on hand. What really grossed me out though was the pink on the inside of the burger. Because of that I ate around the edges of my burger and left the entire middle of the burger. I know it's probably perfectly fine but for me, it's a burger preference and I like my burger well done with no pink. Strawberry milkshake was good. I would call it average fast food milkshake. Overall, I don't think I would make another trip to In-N-Out but least I can say I've tried it. read more

As a California native, I truly appreciated how this In-N-Out location wasn't ridiculously busy the night my family and I went to dine here (In-N-Outs in California are almost always busy at all times of the day). The dine-in area was pretty clean and well-kept, which is also nice. The food and beverages are still the same quality that you'll find at any In-N-Out location. The burgers (especially the protein-style ones), light-well fries, and milkshakes are all delicious! Customer service here is also about the same. After a subpar experience near SFO, this restored my faith in In-N-Out. I placed my order but forgot whether "all the way" included "animal style" or not. The cashier helped me with the secret menu! Was very grateful for that. Got a 3x3, all the way, animal style, grilled onions. I think that's everything. It was hot, the meat was fresh, the cheese was super plentiful (probably the cheesiest I've ever had), the animal sauce was omnipresent... I don't know what made this burger so extra compared to other In-N-Out experiences, but maaaaan. I also grabbed a chocolate shake for funsies. All for under $10 including tip. (Poor waitress, she had no idea what to do with a tip!) Though I don't expect to ever be near Copperas Cove again, I can certainly recommend this to all y'all down that way. Her attitude was horrible and when asked if we could have something to wipe down a table she proceeded to look at us like we were stupid and then turn around to whisper to her coworker and laughed which made both my husband and I uncomfortable. We weren't asking her to clean it even, we asked for something so we could and she still refused to give us anything to wipe a table down, something so simple. On top of it all our order came out wrong and she made us feel like it would be inconvenient for her to fix it and uncomfortable even to ask for it to be fixed. It was a very very good burger. I enjoyed it so much. The French roast was very crispy. I would definitely go back.
