Horrible food. The food was cold, dry, and the waitress was a disaster. I tell her my food was cold, she yells COLD, and takes my plate. My son got sushi, it smelled horrible, so I told him not to eat it for fear he would get sick. Waitress brings me the bill and charges me for 3 meals and 3 drinks. I tell her no, 1 meal and 3 drinks. Lehigh Acres is not known for fine dining. The Asian Buffet is an example of good food in a very casual atmosphere. The staff is friendly, the food is kept hot and replenished frequently. My only complaint is that they no longer serve Egg Rolls but Spring Rolls instead. My last visit was on on 8/14/17 for dinner. The negative was the fried shrimp. It always seems to be overcooked and hard. The other dishes are as one would expect in this kind of buffet. I generally start with the peal 'n eat shrimp, crab rangoon, spring roll, and a few pieces of chicken for the sweet and sour chicken. Sweet and sour sauce is my go to for fried food. I dip peal 'n eat shrimp in cocktail sauce. The General Tso's chicken could be spicier. The BBQ ribs are tasty but sometimes a bit chewey. The fried chicken wings (normal and hot) are greasy like every fried item in any such buffet. I have no qualms about wrapping it in a couple of napkins and squeeze to get some of the grease out. There is ample salad and fruit as well as macaroons, a couple kinds of cake, puddings, mini eclairs, and dip your own ice cream. All in all, the Asian is a must visit for me when I'm in Lehigh Acres. It is popular with the asian locals, reasonably priced, and usually busy. Give it a try and let us know what you think. read more

I am very skeptical of buffets with a high rating. But this is the exception. The mussels were cooked perfect. Raw oysters were cold and sauce tangy. The salmon was large and not overcooked. The usual buffet fare was there also, but the better stuff, not usually in a small buffet was what surprised. The sushi bar was excellent, fresh and expertly made. Soups were all fresh and hot. Deserts were good, fresh and well presented. The staff worked hard to keep everything clean. We ate at 5:30, and later might get a little old. I have spent 6 years in Japan, and this equals the best over there. read more

We made the mistake of coming here about 15 minutes after they opened. I'm not sure if the food would've been better in the evening. There were already several people eating which to me was a hopeful sign that the food would be good today. I have been here 3 times in the past and it's been sort of hit or miss. When I got up to the buffet, there was no rice and no lo mein. They did eventually bring lo mein out but I had already had my first plate with just chicken and veggies at that point. They actually did not have much food at all which I thought was odd, why would you open at this time if you don't have the food done? The lo mein was disgusting, it had that taste of food that has been left uncovered in the fridge. I tried several different kinds of chicken, the chicken wings and the kabob were not bad. The general tso's chicken and honey chicken were very rubbery. I'm not sure what was going on with the pork rolls, the first one I had I thought was great, the second had a very weird taste and I couldn't finish it. I will say that they're very well priced, $7.50 for lunch buffet is not bad. The staff was also very nice and attentive. Unfortunately price and a friendly staff are not enough for me. Used to be our favorite restaurant! As stated from John they were doing real good, but now it's falling apart. Me and my fiance ate here every other week and had some great food until my fiance got food poisoning. I will make this short as I do not like to rant, but people should be warned! A fly landed on my fork and it got stuck. I called the lady over and showed her it. She walked away and came back with 2 people. There were 3 people now in front of me! I told them "this is not sanitary having flys like this in your restaurant and never once been in a asian buffet that would have any!" I was told "it's not our problem if it lands on your food or fork since the health inspectors make sure our food is clean it's your problem". I was shocked I was told this! A long time customer as myself and they do not care if there are flys in there restaurant or even land on people's food. If you have 20/20 vision or glasses....please check carefully for small flys as they are hard to see. My fiance has never once gotten sick eating here. You can be sure we are never going back. read more

The Asian Buffet is a decent Chinese Buffet restaurant. Especially when they are busy the food tends to be fresher. I like almost all of the dishes and would highly recommend anyone that likes Chinese food to give the place a try. If you like you can get styrofoam plates and pick your food for your own tastes. This way they sell it by the pound. For $20.00 or less, you can feed four or five well. Not bad. read more

I moved into the area about a year and a half ago. Been eating here at least once a month. Has always been good except for one time some items looked like they had been sitting out for awhile so I mentioned it and they put out fresh. The staff has always been nice. I am Chinese and I have access to and visited some of the best Chinese food in the country so I set my expectations very low for an Asian Buffet in Lehigh Acres where I was visiting my in-laws. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food for such a low price (less than $11 for all you can eat dinner). Some favorites: lo mein, chicken and broccoli, spare ribs, fried chicken, and salt and pepper squid. They had a good selection of ice cream, all of which were pretty good including the coconut and my favorite, mint chip. If I am in the area again and crave Asian food, I will come back. read more

The rating for Asian Buffet is inflated! I went for dinner on a Friday, so it is a time where an establishment would have their A staff and be firing on all cylinders. For starters, there were flies hovering around the sushi and the meats for their cooked to order food were left uncovered near these flies. There was also no one there manning the grill, so had I wanted to some fresh cooked to order chicken and shrimp I couldn't have it. The items on the hot bar did seemed to lack flavor. The lo mein and fried rice were about the worst I have ever tasted. If there is a silver lining to this establishment it may be the salad bar and the various hot plates of chicken they have on the hot bar (that might even be a stretch). For $12 - I would expect a better quality presentation of food and at the very least for them to ensure that there are not flies hovering around the sushi and the meats. I really hope the place makes some improvements to their offerings. On a positive note, they are quick with beverages and taking empty plates. read more
