Let me start by saying this was coming from Aiden's perspective. This might have been one of the greatest, and I mean the greatest, sandwiches I've ever had. I've had steak and cheese from many carry-out spots, some good and some bad. Every place has their own way of making it, and you never get the same cheesesteak twice; each one is unique. I'm proud to say that I'll be going to that carry-out spot every chance I get, solely for that cheesesteak. But I wasn't alone in this journey; Maria was with me. We split it, and Maria mentioned that taking a bite of that steak and cheese was better than most things, even better than sex. Now, about the staff reviews: I've seen some critical reviews about their behavior, but if the food is good, I can overlook that. There's beauty in tolerating behavior at a carry-out spot, like a family atmosphere. The menu was extensive with options for everyone. The staff's attitude was minimalist, which I appreciated. You just had to be clear about your order. If you come to a carry-out spot, you should know what you want. Sometimes it's a bit chaotic, but it's part of the experience. Ordered the steak and cheese and fried shrimp basket tonight. Solid steak and cheese filled to the brim. The cheese used was either regular or cheese wiz (not provolone FYI), but the huge portion of meat is what made deelish. I didn't even get a photo of it, but I did get one of the shrimp basket. I ordered delivery from grubbhub for my first - and what will be my only - order from this establishment. So I cannot speak to how the decor or parking or what have you is. I can just tell you about the food and the delivery. Pros: My order was delivered within 30 minutes. To the correct place. Which my seem like nothing to be happy about; however, I realize that finding my place is kind of difficult even with a GPS. The delivery guy was kind. And that's where the pros end. I got egg drop soup and orange chicken. Whenever I first order from a Chinese place I get orange chicken. It is a staple. If you can't get this right chances are everything else is lack luster as well. Cons: My egg drop soup was an odd consistency. It was to thin to be egg drop soup despite there being little egg drop droppings. I think egg drop soup should coat your spoon not just fall off like broth. The taste of the soup was also off. Too sweet! But I figured hey the yelp reviews are good the Orange chicken will be good. Wrong again. The orange chicken tasted like anything but orange. It smelled amazing- but no hint of orange - so I figured take a bite! Mistake. It reminded me of sweet and sour chicken minis the sour. So I asked a couple co workers to try it - at this point I wasn't eating it - and they all confirmed. If this was orange chicken it was a bad version. And if it was something else, it was a bad version of that too. I left my orange chicken out to share w/ hungry nurse coworkers. Great food, reasonable prices. I always come here for chinese, it's good fresh vegetables, fast service and a large menu. Anything I've eaten here as been good. They even make chicken nuggets which are pretty good!! Shocking they make them but they're great. I really like their egg rolls and chicken with black bean sauce. Food portions are great. I only think they should add more vegetables to their fried rice. Parking free, in shopping cntr, convenient to highway and bus. read more

This is run of the mill take-out/delivery Chinese food. It's not slop, but it's not gourmet by a long shot. The Good: - Free parking lot. There are usually enough spaces, especially since the Shoppers Food Warehouse shut down. - Reasonable pricing. You're not going to break the bank here, and you're not going to feel like you overpaid. - Delivery. This is a decent spot to call up if you want some cheap, quick food and don't feel like going out for it. The delivery is usually pretty quick, which is surprising. The Bad: - The area is a bit rundown. A major chain grocery store closed down a few years ago and now it seems the other businesses are dropping like flies. - Customer service. You're not getting top-notch or even good service. You're a customer and as long as you don't cause trouble, you'll get baseline service. - It's a few small storefront. I've NEVER seen someone dine-in. The few tables they have inside are more for waiting for your carryout order than anything else. - It's not sparkling clean. It might not be failing health inspections, but it's still enough to make you pause when you walk in. You're probably better off just calling your order in, for your own mental sake. read more

But the policy of demanding an order of $12 for delivery leads to more unfairness..the chow fun was $9.45, rock creek soda $1.50, fee for delivery (?!) $1.00 (why do they have to charge $1.00 when I have already ordered $12.00 worth of food when you include tax (.72), then $2.00 tip for deliveryman ..the delivery man came with the receipt and it totals over $16!!! The lady on the phone was pleasant but when I tried to get a breakdown of the charges ..but I feel I was overcharged ...I ordered an entree of $9.45, a soda $1.50, $2.00 tip, $.72 tax and the bill comes to over $16.00 !!! I liked them because they're fast and relatively cheaper than most places. They messed up my order by giving me the small portion instead of the large and when i had called to request a refund they kept insisting they had given me the large. My family and i had ordered from them multiple times and we know the difference between large and small and it was DEFINITELY a small. But we had paid for a large. The place does look run down, but don't let that fool you. They have the best Chinese food in town! My fiancé and I always order the white meat general Tso chicken with fried rice or the black bean chicken with brown sauce. We also recommend the vegetarian spring rolls! This used to be one of my favorite places. I regularly ordered from them on Grubhub. However, my most recent experience there means I won't be ordering from them again. I'm allergic to onions and sensitive to mayo, so when I order cheese steaks, I always ask them to leave off onions and mayo, as well as veggies (simply because I don't like them on a cheese steak). I always explain that it's an allergy issue, I'm always polite, and since I order through Grubhub, they have it in print. Last time I ordered, I put in my usual request and still got a sandwich with mayo and onions - one that would make me sick for days if I ate it. I contacted Grubhub, who were awesome (as always) and talked to the restaurant for me. However, the restaurant refused to remake the sandwich, even after Grubhub offered to pay them to do so. They insisted that I ordered incorrectly, even though my instructions were on the receipt and were simple and clear. Grubhub ended up refunding my purchase and giving me an additional credit because they felt badly about the situation. Moral of the story: Order from Grubhub, but not from Asian Carry Out. read more

The worst customer service I've ever received in my life. The lady cursed me out because I didn't receive their phone call, had me waiting for 20 minutes outside in the rain and they still did not return, i never received my food and I was still charged. I was charged for food that I never received! After calling to ask her to please either kindly bring my food or remove the charge, she cursed me out again, then hung up. Horrible service and mediocre food. I just received my order from this establishment and was cursed at by the delivery man because he was unhappy with his tip. He actually used a deragotary word towards me and told me I should not order from them again because of his tip.
