I recently moved to Hialeah from Kendall and was happy to discover that Asian Gardens blows my go-to Kendall restaurant for Chinese food right out of the water. I have ordered delivery from here multiple times since our move (about once a week so far) and it has never disappointed. Customer service and delivery are as on point as the food, which has been nothing short of delicious each and every time. My favorite thing on the menu is probably their fried wonton (you can get it with cheese inside and it's an instant party for my tastebuds) and their fried rice, but everything we have ordered has been so good. They always give you a bit more. ;) ( insider tip ). The delivery guy is also AMAZING and always fast even in the rain! (It rained unexpectedly this one time). I wouldn't go anywhere else. Although, I keep mentioning to them to change their thick eel sauce. It's super thick and not the best because it's over saturated in flavor which means, insane amount of sodium. Best little tale out sushi we know. We order from here several times a month. Only inconvenience is that they are so busy all the time that it's a little difficult to get them to answer the phone. Seems like they only have one phone line and that stays busy a lot leaving the customer to have to keep calling till someone answers and takes your order. Yet again Yelp hooked it up with another winner! Craving Chinese and all our old spots have really gone downhill so I turned to my trusted source for some guidance. This place had lots of reviews and all very super favorable so we gave it a try. WINNER!!!! We placed an order for pickup since delivery was taking more than an hour. We got usual honey chicken, chicken & broccoli and crab Rangoon's. Our order was ready in 20 minutes, hot and oh soooo good! They didn't skim on the crab filling in the Rangoon's and the dinner entrees were on point. So thanks yelp - we have officially found our new Chinese Place! Oh, man! Solid four stars, don't think twice about it. I would have never come by if this place wasn't recently floating online begging for a visit, and if some of my peeps had not stopped by prior to me. I did come here hoping for some sort of revelation, specially with the recent publicity this restaurant had received, but coming to Hialeah, to a strip mall, just didn't seem like the stuff that dreams are made of... although there is a lot of pixie dust going around, if you know what I mean. I came here with my circle of trust and we ravaged this place. Service was excellent, the owner and the staff are super cool and friendly and they want to please you, but no, this is not the Jade Palace or the last kitchen of Shaolin. Small space, paper napkins, plastic cups, just another Chinese take-out with a TV screen and no remote control. The food was excellent though. At least my pepper steak was really good, soft, meaty, generous, but above all, very tasty. I also had some chicken wings that had a bit too much breading, but that were pretty good. And the fried rice was excellent too, with soft and tender meat (pork fried rice). I also wanted to order some lo-mein and a wonton soup but there was no space on the table for so much food. I had to come back for that. My companions were also very happy with their food. They ordered sushi rolls and other Chinese food. When we were finished we ordered a deep fried banana and ice cream dessert. It had some chocolate fudge and raspberry syrup, and it was surprisingly good. I don't think I have ever ordered dessert at a Chinese restaurant, so there you go. If you plan on coming, this place is a regular Chinese take-out with some tables, and it is the neighborhood's Chinese joint. Nothing fancy, you will not find white linen, top shelf sake, shark fin soup, NY strip steaks, blah blah blah, but you will find some really good food. I wasn't disappointed, so I don't think others would be. My only hang up is that this is not an entirely Chinese menu, it has Japanese sushi rolls and some Thai noodles and stuff, and I wished it was just great Chinese food. I would like some other noodles on the menu, or some egg foo young, but that's just the way it is. But even with this gripe, this is still a nice little place. This is a restaurant that we have been going to for over a year now. They have great food and great prices. My family loves ordering all kinds of sushi and I order the fried rice but they know I am vegan so they have it noted and add vegetable broth, veggies and no egg. Have only ordered takeout from here. I ordered two sushi rolls. The Volcano roll and the Miami Caliente roll. Both tasted fresh and delicious. I was given a side of spicy mayo and eel sauce at no extra charge which is uncommon for most sushi places. When I went to pick the food the place looked clean and organized and it had a nice ambiance. It's a tiny place with maybe 8-10 tables in total but I think I would enjoy eating here. Thumps up for great costumer service and a very clean place. Location is small but cozy and gives you a "good feeling" of confidence to eat there. Menu has a good variety of Asian food and priced are prety good. The lunch specials are amazing under $10 bucks and give you options for both sushi and entrees. I ordered the Lo Mein lunch special that included fried rice and a egg drop soup. I exchanged the egg drop soup for a miso soup. Maybe it's just me but I don't like the dense consistency of it. The servers were very busy, between phone calls, orders (from both delivery and dine-in) and serving the food of course. The fried rice is good, and the sushi was fresh and delicious. It's actually made very quickly and you won't wait a ridiculous long time. I ate a spicy tuna roll, and honey chicken platter that brings pork fried rice and a pork egg roll. My friend had the Miami Heat and California roll, along with fried rice. I recommend the Miami Heat roll (with spicy mayo too ) On a separate occasion, I asked for take out 30 mins before closing and the way they package their food is very thoughtful and nice. The food was still good! And they don't skimp out on separating things into different packages; making the arrangement of your food better for consumption at home or at a later time. **I changed my review from 4 to 5 stars, because I recently went to another Asian restaurant which VERY served similar food. Ordered vegetable lo mein, vegetable roll, honey chicken with fried rice & a wonton soup. This was more than enough food for the 4 of us & cost $25 so can't beat that. The fried rice & lo mein were the stars here way better than the other take out Chinese places nearby. I love me some soy sauce & these noodles are swimming in it. Sure I had to chug a bottle of water during this meal but we don't order in Chinese because we're watching our sodium intake. Last couple side notes... they forgot the honey sauce for the chicken so be sure to check your order & they told me one hour for delivery but my food was here in 35 minutes which was awesome! read more

Yelp loves them? Really?! My favorite Chinese restaurant is closed today so I tried this place since I saw many reviews and I was dying for special fried rice and krab rangoons. I wasted over $40 and I'm not satisfied whatsoever with this place. The owner/manager isn't friendly. I added everything on a paper since they were too busy to take my order. The price of their wings needs to be updated on their menu. I was like "that's not what it said on the menu" she said "you don't have to get it" WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!? The krab rangoons have no flavor, their rice is ok but misses something.. Their wings are bland. And their "special house lo mein" had no shrimp, the pieces of chicken were oddly large but out of everything we (my family and I) bought the only thing that had a decent flavor was the lo mein even though it was dry.. OMGEEEE! Sooo, my children and I visited this little jewel of a place located in Hialeah on Saturday 11/26/16! When we stepped in we were greeted by happy staffers and a young gentlemen came right over and took our drink orders. The location was clean and everyone was friendly. He brought us our drinks - I ordered a water with a lime, my daughters ordered soft drinks. After taking a look at the menu we decided on 3 Egg Rolls, the Mexican Roll (pictured center), Dragon Roll (pictured bottom right), (2) Miami Heat Roll (pictured top & bottom left) and the Volcano Roll (not pictured). I loved the way everything was placed on the plates. The dishes were clean and everything smelled sooooo good! When I tasted the first roll, it was so good, I just knew I had to order the Volcano Roll cause I heard it was good and wanted to try it! Everything was so freaking delicious & FILLING! We ate the Volcano Roll so fast we didn't have enough time to snap a picture. I will admit, I loved everything about this place! They didn't skimp on the sauces, the refills and the food! The food that they have in Asian Gardens in Hialeah Gardens is very delicious and well cooked. The treatment was really good as well, as soon as I walked in through the door the cashier greeted me and asked if she could help me out. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, its quiet, relaxed, and has good decorations. The menu specials are pretty good and the prices are very competitive compared to the other local Chinese food places. The reason I dropped a star from giving it a perfect score was because when I got to the store to place my order in person the menu was slightly different than the menu they had online (on their website) and on the Yelp ad, the difference was that the "Family Dinner for 3 People" on their website was $25.95 but in the menu in the store it was $29.95 and the items that came included in that special were changed as well, on the website it says that it includes 6 pieces of chicken wings (free) which are no longer included and it says that it includes a "Large Pork Fried Rice or Steamed Rice" which I was expecting to be the bucket sized friced rice but it was actually the size of a quart which is usually the medium or small fried rice in other Chinese places. One positive change that they did make to the combo though was that before it said on the website "3 egg roll or 6 Krab Ragoon but my order came with both for free. In the end it was still a good deal, this is what I ended up getting Family Dinner for 3 Menu Special * 3 Egg Rolls * 6 Krab Rangoon * 1 Large Wonton Soup * General Tso's Chicken (1st free entree) * Shrimp w/lobster sauce (2nd free entree) * Roast Pork Fried Rice Menu Special = $29.95 + tax. Pretty good considering all the local competitors have family packs starting at $32 + tax with less stuff and some dont even cook as well as Asian Garden. read more
