New to area and second time getting take out at China Wok. This place was highly recommended from a friend after we were disappointed with several other places. For starters, the egg rolls are very good. We have tried the Sesame Chicken, the General Tso's chicken and the Kung Pao chicken (last time). We also ordered the chicken wings and the beef teriyaki skewers. The meals came hot and fresh. We did order extra rice each time so we would have plenty for leftovers. All the food very good and worth the short drive from Viera West. Staff at the counter friendly and hospitable. Provided fortune cookies and sauce packets as requested. We will be back. They do have some booths to eat there but we prefer to take out. Solid choice for good Chinese. read more

The food is delicious, fresh, with large portions for a reasonable price. The cook was friendly and did a great job. When busy, the estimated 40 minute wait is closer to 50. That said, having lived in Boston for years, this food is similar in taste and quality; possibly the best in the area. read more

Huge portions and good prices. Was not particularly fond of the Moo Shu pork..it was almost as if they added hoisin sauce to the dish AND provided a side of the sauce. Too saucy and a tad on the salty side. Also had their Singapore Chow Mai Fun, a rice noodle dish that was slightly spicy and had a curry taste. Was not bad, was not great..but we enjoyed it. Finally, had ordered the pork lo mein..I'll pass on discussing this dish as in general, I do not like it (my mom had ordered it..too bland for me). They pretty much taste like a typical takeout place, but it is definitely the best Chinese takeout in this area! Huge portions for a small price and they are super fast and their lo mein gets that great flaming hot wok flavor that is irreproducible from home. Definitely recommend all of their lo mien and beef dishes as well as any appetizer that is wrapped in egg roll skin : ) I would give it 5 stars for its category based on food type on price, but 4 stars overall since, obviously, it's not the best Chinese food I've ever had. Ok so we went china wok the other night as we had done many times. They forgot 1 egg roll just as well it was not very good. All cabbage! Ordered dumplings and got some weird frozen(very obvious) ones!! Very annoying that we were not told of the change. Did not like them at all!! Wontons were way over done and dry Now the general Tso's was awful. Dried up. No sauce and no zing to it. Almost like it was old and leftover Also not hot We won't go back ever again. I have been going to this place since 2008, on and off, I do agree their customer care needs a great deal of work, however, my orders have always been as good as a Chinese take out establishment can be, no complaints on my part. If you're looking for gourmet Chinese food at strip mall prices you're never going to find it. Instead get on plane and take a ride to Mr. Chow in NYC, pay the prices and you'll get exquisite Chinese cuisine, otherwise stop complaining. We don't do Chinese take out often, decided to give China Wok a try. The hot and sour soup was inedible ( hot and sour soup is a fav of mine) consistency of warm pudding and tasted like old band aids. House Lo Mein and Curry shrimp and onions was average. Called to let them know about soup and they said ok, next time you should not order hot and sour soup. We won't make this take out mistake again. read more

I give this place 4 stars, which may seem a little much for a strip mall Chinese place. However, China Wok deserves all 4. This is the first Chinese 'restaurant' in the area that we have been completely satisfied with...good egg drop, great hot & sour, delicious sesame chicken, & super tasty lo mein. You may be thinking that these are pretty generic menu items that would be about the same anywhere, you would be wrong when factoring the restaurants in Brevard. Let me start off with I live in Rockledge, maybe 5 minutes from China Wok... They took 1hr and 20min to bring me my delivery... The driver "did not have change" what driver doesnt carry change when someones order is $16.12... Then I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and there was NO sweet and Sour sauce in my bag to go with my chicken... I called and let her know i needed the sauce, 20 minutes passed by and still no sauce, so i called back, asked the lady if she was sending my sauce and she told me to "hold on!" havent i waited ENOUGH!!! Walked in to place an order and was not even acknowledged at the counter. Scanned the menu looking for chicken Szechuan, but decided on the pork since they didn't have chicken. He rang it up but didn't tell me how much it was, i had to look at the register to find out the price. Sat down to wait and decided to start the stop watch on my phone as I could tell this wouldn't be quick. After 20 minutes, he brought an order to the counter but I thought it wasn't mine as he didn't say anything to me. Another customer walked in as the phone rang. He took the phone order, then the order of the man who walked in, then the order of 2 other people who walked in. Then and ONLY then did he decide to let me know that the order he had brought up to the counter BEFORE waiting on all those other people was mine. To his credit he did say thank you as I was leaving. As to the food, this is the most bland Szechuan I have ever had. It is a traditionally spicy dish, but this barely has any flavor much less heat. Will NEVER go back. read more

This is a great value in takeout Chinese food. We love their bourbon chicken dish. They have a few tables but this is usually a take out restaurant. I wish they would take your name when we phone in our order, but instead, you tell the what you ordered... two good dinners with enough for left overs is less than $20! read more

Sadly, it's time for us to move on from this place. We love the food - but the service is atrocious, even for a take-out place. The last two times we've ordered it's taken at least an hour from the time we placed the call to get our food. And this is after being told "15, 20 minutes". There is a definite language barrier here that is hard to cross - the owners have assigned their young (10 or so?) son to man the phones and counter, and this is not a good situation. Last time out there were a number of people asking when their orders would be ready - the only thing he could say was "almost done". Apparently that means "wait another 10 minutes before asking me again". I felt bad for the kid, really. But the owners need to understand that they have to have competent ADULTS in place to run their business. Way too long to wait for food + complete lack of communication/service = no more China Wok for us. read more
