Chicken and broccoli - Pretty standard for chicken and broccoli when it came to looks. But when it came to taste, couldn't find any. Reminded me of my dating life in the mid 2000's. Brown sauce was bland, as well as the rest of it. Steamed dumplings - can't get that wrong. It was close though... Egg drop soup - drop it in the garbage. Consistency was like thick water, and all I could taste was the disappointment. Sweet and sour chicken - this reminded me of my last relationship. Originally it was sweet, but ended up being sour, rubbery and tasteless. Now I'm salty. Even the MSG wasn't right. Kind of like watching the circus at the World's Most Famous Arena. Aight. Open on holidays which is a plus. A number of times on Thanksgiving and Christmas my family has grabbed food here if we didn't make a special holiday meal. Pretty basic building with the single bathroom and a small waiting area. I don't think many people eat inside but that is an option available to you. Call or walk in and grab your food to go! Usual suspects as far as fried rice, noodle based dishes, appetizers and whatnot. Great greasy spoon hangover food with huge portions. Keeps well for leftovers so another plus. Food is made quickly and the prices are fair. They could use a deep clean though. The lobby is a bit dingy. No health code violations reported though so maybe my eyes are off. Nothing wild to write home about but it's worth a try if you are in the area or want some holiday takeout. read more

We are traveling from Mississippi to Miami and stopped At a Walmart. We were ready for lunch and we happen to find this Chinese restaurant in a little strip mall. At first we were not going to stop but then we did. Oh my gosh!! It was sooooo delicious!!!!! And we're big time Chinese food fans. First - The food came out steaming hot!! (Makes such a difference!) Second - the crab ragoons were fried perfectly, crispy and delicious! I got the chicken Lo Mein. YUM! Unfortunately I got the quart instead of pint. Fortunately, I know I'm going to sure enjoy dinner at the hotel tonight!! My husband got the chicken and vegetables- spicy which came with white rice. DELISH!!!!! And to top it off a pork egg roll!!! I ordered this restaurant recently via DoorDash. My food arrived still hot and it looked good. I ordered general tso with white rice lunch special, and an order of chicken wings. When I bit into the general it was fried so hard I could not chew it, it tasted dry like there was no sauce on it. The sauce I did have on the chicken tasted sour like it was already expired. It came with an egg roll, I bit it and the cabbage tasted like it had gone bad and was sour. I did not eat anymore of this dish after tasting for fear of food poisoning. The wings were suspicious . They were nicely fried, they did not look bad. The issue that I had from these were that when you bit into them some parts of the meat looked normal white, others looked like an old yellow. I smelled the meat and something smelled off as well. I did not finish 1 wing. I called the restaurant and instead of apologizing they defended themselves saying no one has ever called back. Then they blamed it on DoorDash and it wasn't hot that's the reason (my food was hot). The person went on a rant and asked if I wanted a credit, I said no I just wanted to give feedback before someone got severely sick. They issued me a credit still to the restaurant, but I definitely will not be going back. read more

I ordered a general Tso's chicken Today and chicken was hard and rubbery. They gave me a lot of little crunchy pieces and was watery and bland. I literally ate 3 pieces and had to take it back. They said they will refund only half, because I had eaten half of it. I wasn't trying to get a free meal, they could have offer's something else, but what ever. Never going there again. Both were loosely filled but not packed as get in other places. I was also charged more than the menu price. My register receipt did not itemized, so I do not know what I was overcharged. This is a tough call on review- the food is good, the service SUCKS, the attitude is even worse!!! Please inform me why you act like you hate every minute of your job?? Even when you have patrons treat you kindly you act like a witch- like every single question or request is so horrible for you. The prices aren't inexpensive either, this is takeout with a ton of attitude from the older female. When you greet her with a thank you, you are met with a scowl. We've tried more than once and more than twice to give it a shot but the rudeness and complete disregard for their customers by their behaviors leaves us not returning. The food- fried rice that comes with NO egg? Weird. Kung pao that isn't spicy and heavy on skin. The only redemption was the tofu that was cooked perfectly and delicious. Even that was a nightmare to order- when asked if they could make tofu fried rice, it was met with a mean "NO". But I'm lost, you have tofu? Yes, but not fried rice tofu. Lol. Ok. Ordered the broccoli and tofu, which the tofu was fried....can't you just add the tofu to the fried rice??? Anyway- again that was the only saving grace and to pay almost $40 for tacky, lackluster and condescending owners with mediocre food, we will PASS. Horrible service, rude staff, and extremely long wait. They give a number to call when you arrive but heres the good part the number doesn't work. Also when the Asian lady finally comes out she ignores you so you practically have to stand in her face to get an answer from her or any recognition. I asked her for my order by name and she slammed the door in my face, when confronted again all she said was I don't care go way I will call you when it's ready. While I was sitting waiting for my food I was checking out the reviews on this place just to see what everyone else was saying. It is amazing that it can differ so much but that is the whole point of this site. The young lady at the desk is always super friendly and it is nice that you can understand her. The only downfall is that she doesn't smile. I try to get her to smile every time I am there and it works from time to time. But otherwise she is great. I have been going there since around 2004/05 and never had any problems with the food. I always like mine extra spicy and I get what I want that is for sure! I always get The General Tso Chicken combo and my husband always gets the Sesame Chicken combo. Once in awhile we will throw in the Teriyaki on a stick or even Egg Drop Soup. Nothing ever tastes bland. The food is always hot and always done well. Sometimes I like going in and sitting to wait on my food because I am interested in how they cook everything. You can see them while they are cooking which is nice. So I know, because I can see, that they are not using "old" food or "reused" food. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that's why I love this site. I generally don't expect the meat to be the best but I expect to get some meat. If you want fried batter chucks in sauce that is lacking and not tangy/ spicy like all general Tso's this is your place. Egg roll had no crunch and was mushy. Rice is nothing but white rice in soy sauce. Why I get fried rice I expect son kind of texture and some veg or meat add-ins. Not a single lick in it. Not even egg.
