The worst company I have ever dealt with. Amy the owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. We had an incident occur when one of there employees, Long came out to take measurements for our countertops. He moved our bottle of cleaner, a roll of paper towels, and the paper instructions that were sitting inside my new sink and moved them onto my stove (must of been in his way for measuring). I came home to my entire upstairs filled with smoke and an awful smell, and one of my burners turned on high. This is my brand new stove that I haven't even used yet. I called and asked to speak to manager and spoke with Amy. She immediately became ridiculously defensive on the phone saying her employee Long DOES admit to moving the paper on the stove, but that's it, he did NOT bump the burner. I said, whoever bumped the burner wouldn't know if they did it or not because it was clearly an accident. The bigger problem at hand was moving flammable items on top of a stove. We never leave anything on top of our stove due to fire hazards. Amy said, him putting the paper on the stove did not cause the fire. Whoever bumped the burner caused the fire. I said that's not true, if someone would of bumped a burner with nothing on top of the stove then i would of simply came home to a hot burner, not a smoke filled house and ruined top of my brand new stove. She said there's no way to prove that he bumped it and I should look into the stove manufacturer because they shouldn't be that easy to turn on. Mind you, I am pregnant and had to breathe in these fumes that filled all 3 of my bedrooms and entire upstairs for days. I mentioned that and she suggested that I be very careful when my kids start running around since it's sooooo easy to turn on the burners (she's never heard of burners being so easy to turn on) (she also said they don't turn on just from bumping into them, and suggested that my friend who let him in that day may have turned the burner on, or my dog) we will never know how the burner got bumped, HOWEVER her employee Long is the one who put the flammable items on my stove, and was very close to my stove as he was taking measurements all around it.
I wasn't even asking for a stove replacement, money off cabinets, countertops, or my house to be professionally cleaned due to the fumes and smoke. Which any of the above would have helped solve my frustrations. I simply was trying to explain what had happened and she just became so defensive and unprofessional.
I called the following day to get a time frame for countertop installation and Amy said I am not on the schedule when I clearly have messages from Lee saying I am scheduled for that day. Her excuse was he is out of town and I'll have to wait til he comes back.... I thought she was the manager???
They still owed me 1 cabinet that they didn't bring on my cabinet installation day, so on that day when they installed my last cabinet I have on video there employee taking multiple pictures of my stove - assuming to send to Amy. I spent 2 hours the previous day using multiple chemicals to get the melted plastic and fire damage off my stove top. (I actually got it looking pretty good) my husband was home when this occurred and he confronted him asking him why he's taking pictures of our stove - he acted confused and deleted the pictures in front of my husband.
I decided to end things with the company and probably should have much sooner.
I highly suggest spending a couple hundred dollars more and finding another company to do your kitchens. read more
