Asian Grill Express has some of the most amazing sesame tofu and lo mein! By far the best tofu dish I've had!

Overpriced and sub-par. I paid $15 for a meager portion of Teriyaki Chicken and a can of Diet Coke. The portion was 1/2 white rice, and the meat and vegetables were swimming in a very watery sauce. I won't be coming back. read more

Disappointed in Vietnamese order of Crystal Rolls which were 98% rice noodles, 1% lettuce and 1% small, sliced in half (3 slices) shrimp stuffed into a rice paper wrapper. Peanut sauce was too thick. First bite it all fell apart. I paid $7.15 for these. Grilled pork bowl meat was tasteless. Add taxes and fees to the food costs made for a very expensive fast food meal. read more

Three tries and out. The good: you can order delivery through Order Up. Interestingly, Yelp Eat does NOT deliver to my exact same address. Couldn't get the app to work so called restaurant directly. Asked for extra duck sauce. Did not get. Asked for extra pineapple in S&S chicken- did not get, unless normal order is 1-2 pieces. They DID leave out onions as requested. They give you a tub of S&S sauce and then a few packets. Why? Husband ordered Beef and Snow Peas and was up sick all night. As I mentioned, this was our third try...guess we kept hoping it would get better (it didn't). Last order got lo mein in place of white rice. Extremely greasy and tasteless. The crab cheese wontons are the best! Highly recommend trying this place out. One of the better Chinese places I have found in town.

Let's be honest: you aren't coming here looking for cuisine, you're coming here looking for a quick, inexpensive meal. Ordered the generals chicken entree instead of the lunch special. The area where the lunch special trays were was almost empty and not enticing. Received the generals chicken and it tastes like orange chicken with zero spicyness. Super sad. Was pumped for some crunchy, spicy, generals chicken. But instead got a rubbery sweet chicken with zero crunch. Also it's soaked Ina pool of watery sauce that is making my chicken soft and mushy. Back home the sauce would enjoy saucy not watery. This is the non-corporate version of Panda Express. Which is a positive and a negative. On the positive it is the heavy/greasy comfort Asian food we have all come to know and love. The negative, it's the same heavy/greasy comfort Asian food that we know will make us feel bloated all day... There's nothing really creative, adventurous, or new about this place, it was ok. I probably won't be coming back, mostly cause I live on the other side of town, though if I have a hankering for Panda, perhaps I'll come here instead! I asked for different items than the lunch special during lunch. I was really unhappy with the service. I am pretty sure I got charged more for what I ordered even when it should have ended up being around the same price as the lunch special. I ended up paying almost $8 for an entree and side with an egg roll (I asked if I could sub one side with egg roll) and soup (soup is pretty cheap here). I dined in and noticed that someone else was being helped and got the egg roll order plus two entrees and a side with no problem, at the lunch price ($5). What!!? I had been curious about this place for awhile- I came in once about 5 minutes past their lunch special hour and they said I would need to order dinner so I left. Probably should have never returned.. No trashcans anywhere here if you dine in. I would give two stars for this americanized chinese food but the service makes it one star. read more

Every time I go here I get more and more disappointed. I should just stop going back, but it is so close to my house. When they first opened they had pretty decent food, large portions that tasted like pretty much any other American Chinese restaurant. But now their food has gotten bland, no more sweet and salty Chinese food, just overly sweet(almost sickly). Yes I will continue to go back when I need a quick Chinese fix and since that is not very often I will put up with the food quality. They have a cheap lunch special but also have good dinner coupons. The hot and sour soup was pretty good. The kung pao chicken is spicier than I'm used to, which is GREAT, and it has lots of veggies. I would order the kung pao chicken again. Don't get me wrong, the food is great for the price of lunch. It's about $5 for a good-sized meal, and it doesn't taste bad either. However, I brought in a coupon that said the following: "$4.25 - Two entrees with one side each" So I showed them the coupon and they told me they could only give me one side. The coupon explicitly stated it was one side each, meaning two sides, but even when I persisted they said no. I got the coupon from one of those Campus Cash booklets and it was far from expiring. I was at the correct restaurant. In the end, they charged me full price for a meal that was not what they advertised. Sure, it was only about 50 cents more, but I can't give it a good rating based on the principal of what they did. So, in short - it's worth your money, but don't bother using a coupon because they will say no...despite the fact that they created it. read more

Anyway, a fast-food style restaurant (like Panda Express, they let you pick from pre-made choices and serve you right there), this is a decent eatery. I just ordered delivery and I'm very unimpressed. While the delivery time was reasonable, when I saw the food I was disappointed. I ordered vegetable egg rolls, beef skewers, and pork lo mein. The egg rolls were fine, average. The beef skewers were so tough and dry it was a chore to eat them. The flavor was decent, but I won't finish them. The lo mein is a large portion with a good array of veggies and lots of pork, but it's a weird shade of orange, and exceedingly bland. I won't order from here again. read more

THE DRAMA OF DELIVERY As a new resident of FC, I am looking for my new favorite Asian restaurant and had been sampling those that deliver. I have tried Empire Palace and Yung's. I had to sign up with EAT24 to get it delivered and, I am so sorry, but I made a mistake when entering my address and therefore it was entered as 8006 instead of 8004. I also stated that my house was green with a purple door. I think the app said it would be 50-60 minutes. In about 45 minutes I thought I heard my cell phone ring upstairs, but I was on the main level on my landline and have a significant hearing loss and didn't get there in time. They called back, and that's when Miss Asian Grill Express lit into me like she had caught me in bed naked with her husband! I have never in my life gotten "in trouble" and yelled at by a restaurant employee. She was furious I had entered my address wrong as if I had done it on purpose, this went on for a while. She was still yelling at me when the delivery Dude rang my bell. I told her he was here, had found my house and she said: "WELL OPEN THE DOOR!" I replied, "of course I'm going to open the door!". At this point, I just sat my phone down and let her rant to herself. The delivery driver was very kind and polite when I apologized for my mistake. Her rudeness makes reviewing the food difficult. TO THE NASTY WOMAN ON THE PHONE; YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO YOUR PROFESSION AND THE REASON I NEVER ORDER FROM YOU AGAIN AND TELL MY FRIENDS - ESPECIALLY THE ONE WITH OVER 3500 LOCAL FACEBOOK FRIENDS - WHAT A HORRIBLE PERSON YOU WERE ON THE PHONE TO SOMEONE WHO MADE AN HONEST MISTAKE. TO THE DELIVERY DRIVER; You were sweet and kind, and I appreciate you treating me like a human. You assured me it wasn't a big deal. I'm sure your employer doesn't thank you nearly enough. You are the reason I would maybe order from these jerks again. As luck would have it, the food was pretty good in comparison to the others I have tried, and I think a bit less expensive. Delivery was early in spite of my delivery guy not being able to find me w/o a phone call (did I mention green house? Purple door?). Is it worth using them again when that horrid wench would not stop screaming at me, and I do mean she was screaming! Probably not, I wish I had slipped that kid a bigger tip.
