I think if you're looking for American beef stew, this is what you should order. I'm from Las Vegas and the beef udon there is $12. This is $18 and tastes nothing like beef udon. It took forever to come out so I didn't send it back and hoped for the best despite all the additions. There is carrot, onion, cabbage, broccoli, a fully cooked boiled egg??? It is a 2.5 stars from me. It seemed almost every dish had extra sugar. The Spicy Beef Ramen was way too sweet, even one of the rolls had sugar. This is the crazy one, my dirty martini had sugar! I had two other people taste is and they said they tasted it too. It is just one of those places that thinks everything is better with sugar. This is a great spot for lunch specials! I always go for their three roll lunch combo which includes complimentary miso soup, and a choice of three rolls - there are eleven options you can pick from. I was greeted and seated in a booth by the window immediately when I arrived, ordered a hot green tea and enjoyed the people watching while I waited for my three rolls. Miso soup came out first - they serve it as a sipping soup without a spoon which was perfect to cradle in my hands on a chilly day. The avocado roll, spicy tuna and asparagus tempura roll came out soon after and I dug in. Everything always tastes fresh and clean - the avocado was perfectly ripe, the spicy tuna had a nice kick, and the tempura asparagus was crispy and delicate. My server was the only one working the floor and did a wonderful job of checking in on all of the tables and making sure everyone had what they needed so no one felt forgotten. Came in for dinner midweek and there was only about 6 tables occupied. (It was rather late in the evening though.) We placed our order and it took just under an hour for the food to arrive at our table. The wait staff was polite but they were not able to check in with us during dinner. i attribute the slow service to our waiter doubling as a bar tender in between serving tables. I ordered the chicken teriyaki box and the chicken was great. However, the rice on the california rolls was rather mushy and would not hold its shape. I am not super enthusiastic to go back again, but may in the future. i will likely true some of the other sushi spots in the area. read more

My sister and I came here for dinner with some friends. It was pretty busy that night, but luckily we were able to get a table in 20 minutes. Service was a little slow, but it was understandable and they still refilled our water glasses a couple of times. We shared the Budae Ramen (creamy, spicy chicken broth with two fried gyoza, fried spam, boiled egg, napa cabbage, carrot, mushroom and green onion) and the Katsu Donburi (crispy, panko encrusted chicken cutlet infused with soy broth, egg and onions, served on top of rice). My favorite of the two dishes was the Budae Ramen! The broth was really different (creamier) than what I was used to, but it was delicious. I loved all of the toppings as well. The katsu was good, but a little better after we re-fried it at home to crisp it up again. I really liked the onion and sauce that soaked into the rice. The portions were enormous! My friend and I got an order of steamed gyoza, baked green muscles, spicy salmon roll, california roll (with masago), Yami Yami roll (the one with the tempura crunch bits on top), and Samurai roll (the one with the salmon/eel). The fish and rice aren't fresh, and the sushi falls apart so easily no matter what roll you get. They do have good drink options. Also, their miso soup and spicy edamame are definitely good. Went for Valentine's day, pretty busy, we got there around 5:30. We were told there would be a 45 minute wait, totally fine, we went down the street to old towne square for a drink then we were gonna head back. 10 ish mins later we get a call saying our table is ready and that they'd be holding it for 5 minutes. Totally understand that they would have a shorter period on valentine's day, but we were not told this before so we literally had to run back to the restaurant. Luckily we made it in time and got seated. We were then seated and we were brought waters about 5 mins later and someone came around with roses (cute touch for a special occasion, and just about the only positive of the experience.) we were then sitting for a little over thirty minutes. I let someone know we had been waiting for a while and she went to discuss with others. A nice man offered us a complimentary sake. However our server was not professional at all. She came back to our table blaming the host for not telling anyone that we had been sat. (mind you it's a small restaurant, we gotten our water refilled twice before we even ordered. Not noticing is crazy.) Anyways, she didn't even say "i'm so sorry about that" or anything of the sort. That is not how a server should be. She grabbed our paper with our sushi order filled out and didn't even ask if we wanted any appetizers or drinks (we did). My boyfriend ordered a drink and she was about to leave before even asking me if i wanted to get one as well (i did, it's valentine's day, hello?). about thirty five minutes later we got our food and left. I understand a wait especially on valentine's day and i understand a mistake but no apology and blaming a coworker is just off putting. Each time our waitress came over to either drop off our drinks/food she would give a snarky little laugh as she walked away. Not in a funny nice way but a condescending rude way. Wish we had a better server because we chose this spot cuz we had our first date here and it's a special spot to us. However the service from this specific server was lacking. It felt like she was angry at us for a mistake that was made by them. Not apologetic at all. On a special day like valentine's day this matters. We decided to stop by here only because it was right across our hotel, and we wanted something light after binging on grilled cheese and greasy meat from a different establishment nearby. (Delightful, but also felt our tummies bloating to the moon!) So I actually had fairly low expectations for this place just from looking from the outside. Turns out, it was a pretty fine time and worth freezing our fingers and butts off for a good 2 minutes walking here from the hotel! The menu had a lot of drool worthy things that made me miss AYCE sushi. Out of greed and desperation, I ordered salmon nigiri and the salmon belly right away. Both were so yummy and tender! We also got the classic spicy tuna roll which was SO spicy. Not the typical spicy tuna roll you'd get at other Japanese restaurants, cuz they really put the SPICE in there! Texture was more tender and magnificent than other spicy tuna rolls I've been to in Colorado, but I'm too wimpy for their level of spice. Really tasty though, would burn my tongue again for that texture. We also had Fort Collins roll which was pretty good, but at this point I was so full that I could barely taste anything. Probably because my belly was already half full from eating so much of their dynamite appetizer. It was great, but the ingredients were chunky with mushrooms and other ingredients I wasn't used to. Way more ingredients than the actual dynamite sauce. Also interesting how they already came with rice which was what I'm not used to, so I preordered a bowl of rice to eat with the dynamite so then I ended up with double the rice. RIP my tummy but also I love rice so I was in rice heaven. Bonus: Complimentary miso soup that doesn't feel like you're drinking a bunch of miso flavored sand! Wonderful! Now I'm too spooked to try any other Japanese restaurants in Fort Collins after coming to Jeju. Will come again to devour the rest of their menu. read more

I remember this place being really good a long time back. We stopped by last weekend and didn't have the greatest experience. The sushi was average at best. The veggie sushi was pretty good. I got the katsu donburi, which was not great. The katsu was good, but it had a sweetish egg on it and the dish itself was a bit overwhelming. We got the chicken bulgogi and that wasn't great either. The staff were friendly but I guess they were trying to get a handle of their crowd too. We ended up waiting too long for the check to be collected. I wouldn't recommend this place right now. Sashimi is $15 per order, because it only comes in a appetizer size, which they don't tell you until you get the bill. When I complained the girl at the desk basically told me you have to ask to find out how much the order is, buyer beware. Total scam. Also, just got home. First time here. I had the spicy tuna roll and it was spicier than any other I have had, still really good. I also had the Korean Bulgogi. I prefer just having white rice with it, the clear noodles were too sticky and I didn't like the texture. Bulgogi was well seasoned. The star of the evening was our waitress Emma, what a gem. She was so nice, engaging us with some history of the downtown area and was very attentive to us, she brought my friend all kinds of dipping sauces as he really gets into his food. Lol. For two adults, we got a lunch combo (3 rolls from a list) and 2 extra rolls from the lunch menu, and it cost us $20 even. A supremely good deal for the quality of sushi you're getting here. Everything tasted fresh, the textures were amazing, and I walked away with my favorite being the plain salmon roll (uncommon for me, I usually prefer the fancier more extravagant flavor explosions).
