Their butter chicken is probably the best in the world. They actually put actual tandoori chicken meat - BUSSSSS great butter chicken.

Incredible authentic Pakistani food and flavor! The owner is from Gujrat, Pakistan and truly delivers on taste. We ordered several dishes including the biryani- which is with bone, chicken Karahi, gosht karahi, achari gosht, chicken Haleem, and mix platter which was basically a combination of malai boti, haryali boti, tandoori chicken, and seekh kabab. Everything was absolutely delicious! The naan was also crispy and wonderfully baked from the oven. For dessert we tried the ras malai- 10/10 and the gajar halwa, which was without khoya, but still pretty good- 7/10 Mango lassi -8/10 The service was splendid ! They even have a prayer area, so that was great too! They also have a shop in the annex where you can get all your local Pakistani spices and groceries (plus decorations). This place delivers to me so I tried it out. They delivered it within an hour. The food was ok. Just ok though. It was not the worst i have had here. The worse place is on Elm street with surprisingly good reviews on yelp. But I digress... I ordered the saag with paneer and the gave me saag with chicken. The chicken was tough so we pulled it out. The spinach was soupy, like too soupy to enjoy. Not sure why it was that consistency but I ate it anyway. The butter chicken was meh. Not much to say about that. The Samosa was good but tasted like a pre made product. Definitely not made to orders. I am a huge samosa fan so that was disappointing. Naan is naan. They did not burn it so there is that. Overall the food is ok if you don't feel like cooking. Just be sure to check your order upon delivery. They seem to give you whatever is available as a sub to what you actually pay for. Decided to order from here looking at the rave reviews this place has. We ordered chicken curry and butter chicken and chicken tikka kebabs. In my opinion the food was as meh! Of the three items the chicken curry had good flavor. But it felt like they just dumped large pieces of chicken breast in the curry. Chicken tikka kebabs were cooked well and were soft and juicy, but lacked that the flavor that comes from marinating the chicken in spices. It also lacked the smokey flavor that comes from making kebabs in a tandoor. Butter chicken seemed like they combined a can of tomato sauce wih cream and put chicken in it. I have to agree that the rice that came with it was good and their portions are large. read more

I don't usually take time out to review as I travel frequently and eat out a lot. Most places are good but doesn't really stand out in my humble opinion. Asian Kabab & Grill is not one of those mediocre places. Let me just say that growing up in Brooklyn, I am an aficionado of good Indian cuisine and are very hesitant to try out locations unknown due to my unusually high expectations. On top of that, this place also doubles as a pizzeria adding to my apprehension of trying out an Indian spot in Manchester New Hampshire of all places. To be completely honest, I was looking for a Colombian spot before heading to the airport as that is my usual ritual flying out of Logan international. To my dismay, the only Columbian spot in Manchester was closed on Tuesdays and I was forced to find a last minute alternative before heading to Manchester airport. Basically what I'm trying to say is I may have to fly into Manchester from now on just to have an excuse to come back here again. This is by far the best butter chicken I've had in the past decade if not my entire life and the garlic naan is nothing less than perfection. The portions are also generous. Thanks to the review before this, I was able to replicate her go to meal as my own and also order the best gyro wrap that my friend has ever had as well. Don't let the location and exterior fool you. This place should be a local monument. Manchester is lucky to have an Indian spot of this caliber. I will be returning hopefully in the very near future. I've eaten here a few times. The food is good however this evening was a bit confusing and upsetting, honestly. I walked in to order food and was told that only one type of food was available. I'd had Indian for lunch and after working a 10.5 hour flight, wanted something different. When I asked about other things on the menu, I was told they weren't available right now. I was restricted to a menu with only certain things. If that's the case, fine. However, not even 5 minutes after I ordered either an online or a call in order came in for a calzone, then a few minutes later, a family came in and was able to order a pizza. That was completely inconsistent and I felt as if I'd been singled out. I'm very confused and would like it explained to me why I was only able to get one type of food when everyone else was able to get whatever they wanted within just a few minutes time. Although the food is good, I'm not sure I'll go back if this type of discriminatory behavior is the norm. Not happy. read more

What great food and service! Delivery driver was courteous and quick. I ordered tandoori chicken (medium spice), chicken samosas, butter chicken with naan, and it all came with a side salad bonus that I wasn't expecting, but very fresh! Included were tamarind sauce and mint chutney in small sauce containers. The tandoori chicken had just the right amount of spicy kick and was juicy; not at all dry (a common issue elsewhere). The chicken samosas with just the tiniest dribble of tamarind sauce were spectacular. Easily the best I've had anywhere. I may not be able to order again without them. There was a small hiccup where the driver forgot to bring my naan, but they called right away and sent it out to me immediately. I hadn't even finished my salad when they knocked. I'm saving the butter chicken for dinner tomorrow, but I dipped a finger in and it's going to be great too LOL! The naan was generously sized, fresh, and stretchy just as it should be. I have to say the packaging for delivery was well done also. They used foil where needed and it all arrived in great shape and perfect temperature. This is a little nondescript spot that is also connected to a small ethnic grocery. This initially was a cause for concern. Then I remembered, hey, I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area. Nondescript small-ish eateries connected to some sort of ethnic grocery is frequently a hidden-gem. And so it was. The butter chicken was divine. The tandoori chicken and fish fry were delightful and fresh. The Palak Paneer was excellent and had the perfect amount of kick that many places lack. The goat pepper fry was substantial and flavorful, a bit more gravy than I'd expect but the wife enjoyed it, and she doesn't normally eat goat. It was so good that, based on the lack of great Indian/Pakistani cuisine in our area, we ordered some of these items to go. Substantial enough that the wife and I pretty much lived on the takeout for over a day. I've been all around the world and have been lucky enough to have dined in some of the best rated restaurants in California and many parts of Asia. There is such a consistency of competency in crafting these dishes that it doesn't surprise me that haters have tried to cut in on these reviews with baseless remarks...this spot could be a real threat to other establishments had they really opened up with the marketing and glitter to attract customers. Yet here they remain, a humble grocery in New England that just happens to serve up some of the best Tandoori I've had since landing here from SF in 2015. They're among a small smattering of really great Indian/Pakistani places on my shortlist, most being in Massachusetts. Haven't ordered from them in a while my boyfriend was craving Indian food so I said hey I know a place we ordered delivery butter chicken veggie samosas and chicken samosas and once again everything was delicious. They even asked us how we wanted our chicken mild medium or spicy which I thought was great most Indian restaurant don't ask. The chicken was nice large chunks of moist white meat ...a lot of place use like dark meat or chunks of what I call mystery meat lol really just the undesirable pieces but no here they use all the good meat. I was impressed this food was very good and close to their roots. Liked they use native spices like cardamom and saffron in their biryanis. Loved their okra dish which is in oil and I prefer it that way. It may seem greasy but it's meant to be cooked with this style of northern Indian cooking. I've ordered delivery from this place a couple times, and have been consistently wowed by the food. I like to experiment with stuff I've never heard of before, and while they have a lot of the old standbys (chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, saag paneer, etc) they have a bunch of new-to-me dishes, and every one has been delicious. My current favorites: Chicken 65, chicken chapli kebabs (makes a great naan sandwich), bhindi masala, bullet naan (basically, naan with jalapenos). (Since they don't have a website (???) I'd recommend making one order of stuff you've heard of before and you know you'll like. When it comes, they'll give you a full-color menu with descriptions of all the more unusual stuff -- try some of those!) read more

Not happy with this place. The flavor of the food wasn't really authentic, and they forgot the samosas we ordered when they delivered it to us. I thought I would give them another shot when they had a stall at the farmers market recently, but that was even worse. Ordered delivery last night. Wait time was reasonable and the food arrived hot and delicious. We had Karhai Chicken and Dal Tadka, both of which were excellent. The spicing was perfect (you can specify mild, medium or hot - we went with medium), and the chicken was tender. We are eager to try more of their menu! We have now ordered twice more and been generally pleased. (Rice was forgotten last time, but the food was still great overall). Tonight we tried the chicken sheek kabobs for the first time and the portion was very generous, easily enough for two people (though it does not come with much in the way of veggies - just some salad mix in the bottom of the container). I went to this place because of the rating, and it was worst then disappointment. I went in around 7:20, and the owner was watching video on his phone in the seating area. He started talking in his language assuming I'm from his country which was absolutely unbelievable. Then I asked him how many pieces you get in a kebab and he said 6, for me that was too much, and I had even asked about the Chicken biryani too, but then I said I'll only have the kebab, obviously he wanted to make more money so he said, I can give you half kebab and half biryani, so I said that sounds good, but then I told him to give me kebab first and then biryani. I sat down the kebabs came after 10 or more minutes later, cold, barely any spice in there. I are couple of pieces and moved my plate on the side. After that I waited more than 30 minutes and still no biryani and the place was empty. He did get couple of take out calls so he was busy working inside so I got up at 8:10pm and walked towards the window and asked him where is my biryani and he got mad and upset that I told him only Kebab, I argued that it was his idea and he just told me to leave and walked away, this is probably the worst place, disgusting food and worst service, I would have given him minus score.
