I'm a fan! Definitely fresh and spice-forward (not necessarily spicy!) dishes. Food here reminded me more of what I ate in Sikkim and Calcutta as opposed to Deli or Rajasthan. I think the menu reflects this - momos, Indochinese food, etc. Palak paneer (saag Panera) was savory and warm. The paneer was so soft and tender, obviously homemade. The Chicken 65 was great (ordered it "hot") with plentiful mustard seeds, ginger and garlic. For an appetizer I was very impressed with the serving size. This is definitely is a satisfying version. I have only ordered for pickup about 3 times and delivery. The food is hands down delicious. I always get the Tikka Massala (medium heat) and the Himalayan Chicken (spicy) and they are soooo good. My husband likes their Mango Lassi. The service is fairly quick- you may need to wait a few more minutes but it's worth it and never too long. The ambiance of the restaurant could use a little love but honestly it's clean, homey and delicious. I would recommend anyone near by give them a try for themselves. They won't be disappointed. Btw- every entree comes with basmati rice. So no need to purchase extra rice unless you want... extra rice. lol read more

Finally was able to stop in for lunch on a Wednesday. It was very slow, with only 1 diner inside. The buffet is not in operation. So ordered off the menu. Many, many paper signs all over the front, with all kinds of info and offering... They have a weekday specials menu which I thought was confusing the way it was written, however finally decised on the chicken tiki marsala, which comes with rice and a big round piece of nan. I wish I could give ZERO stars. Went in today for lunch around 12:30. The place was empty and dark, which should have been my first clue. There's a sofa when you first come in the door. Either the owner's daughter or wife was laying down on it. At first she made a gesture to get up but, changed her mind and laid back down. OK! I ordered a chicken tikka masala. My friend got butter chicken. Each entree contained a tiny bit of chicken, which I would estimate to be less than 1/2 of a chicken breast. The rice looked like it was sitting out for 2 or 3 days and the naan bread was as thin and as crispy as a saltine cracker. I think they used garlic powder because there was no fresh chopped garlic to be found. Absolutely NO flavor in either the masala or the butter chicken. I found myself wishing I had some curry powder in my purse to doctor it up. The food was so bad, I wouldn't eat mine. My friend only ate part of hers. I was shocked when the bill arrived at more than $50!! I wouldn't have minded so much if the food was fresh and flavorful. I will never go back there again!! YUCK!!! read more

Hopefully this was just a fluke and the next time it is a lot better. Taste -3 The tikka masala sauce was sweeter than what I am used to. It was almost like a coconut base maybe? The mixed grill was good but the chicken breast was very dry. Unlike other places where the chicken breast is very moist tender and juicy. The naan was good but there was a few hard dry spots like cracker texture but the rest of it was good. Service-5 The service was great it was a 90+ day and there was no sign of ac in there the ladies did their best. Owner needs ac. Presentation-5 Food was packed nice and neatly. Stuck in traffic and noticed the sign so we thought why not, let's get some Indian take-out. The menu is great - lots of dishes and even the dessert section had some cool items. Ordering was easy - we put in our order and waited in some nice chairs. It wasn't fast, but we didn't expect it to be as they are making it fresh as you wait. The restaurant was pretty empty but the weather wasn't the greatest. I liked how the owner seemed to know a repeat customer and was very engaged with him. We ordered the veggie samosas - no lie, the absolute best samosas I have ever tasted. Snarfed those down in the car. The owner also specially made peshwari naan which was super nice of him. I didn't even realize it wasn't on the menu as we were just coming up with a naan to order and I blurted out my go to naan. That was also very tasty and not overly sweet like you sometimes get. We also got an order of aloo gobi. This was super bland. We said mild for the entrees but there's a difference between mild spice level and bland and on both the dishes were just super boring. We also got the lamb korma. I didn't love the korma sauce at all. The lamb was nice and you got a lot of it but the dish was bland and the sauce just wasn't that good. Prices were good and the quality of the food was good (except the fact it was so bland so maybe don't say mild and your experience will vary). I loved the samosas and the naan. I would for sure go back but this time not say mild and see how the spice levels are on the entrees. read more

As have been said in other reviews, I don't know what they're using but the sauce is sweet. Not at all what it's supposed to be. The chicken was pretty good. Not the tenderest I've ever had, but not dry and there was a good amount in there. There were cashews which was good. The naan. I got the plain and it was just that. Plain. The dough wasn't very thick and as was mentioned in other reviews, cracker line in certain sections. Also not what it's supposed to be like. Ordering - I ordered online and had to select a pickup time. The earliest was 35 minutes in advance, I was hoping that meant they were busy. I went at the time it gave me and after my 10 minute drive home, the food was very cold so it must have been sitting for a while. Overall, I'm quite disappointed and won't be back. Normally I lick up every last drop of my leftovers from my favorite Indian place. When I was done eating this, I threw the rest away. read more

Went for takeout dinner a couple weeks ago. The staff are so nice! I got chicken korma, garlic naan and chicken soup. Everything was good although the portions are small, at least for take out. Unfortunately they forgot my rice (I'm pretty sure rice was supposed to come with the korma) so the meal felt incomplete. If rice was not included, it would have been a super helpful recommendation. We ordered vegetable masala, naan basket, their specialty the Himalayan chili chicken (amazing!) a few other dishes and some vegetable soup. We ordered veggie pakoras which were unseasoned. The potatoes were in huge chunks and as such remained uncooked. The main dish was butter chicken made out of canned tomatoes paste which had a very dominating sweet taste. Naan and rice were well cooked. 2 points for cleanliness. Not the end of the world, it was dinner time on a weekend.
