Ease of availability. Clean. Good pressure, good massage. Nice price. I'd recommend for a quick fix.

I recently visited Joy Feet Reflexology, located on S Lynnhaven Rd. as my second stop for my…read more"birthday month of self-love. When I first walked in I was a little skeptical due to the modest entry/waiting room. However once I walked to the back where the magic happens my skepticism left. The atmosphere was peaceful, with dim lighting and soft music. They have multiple beds separated by a curtain which is perfect for solo, group or couple outings. I opted for the 60-minute reflexology session ($45), which included a 15-minute neck and shoulder massage, followed by a 45-minute foot massage.  My appointment started with a basic foot soak. During the foot soak I received the neck and shoulder massage, which felt absolutely delightful.  After the foot soak, I moved to the chair that fully reclines into a bed. Once on the chair they continue with the shoulder and arm massage before moving to my feet. The foot massage was like Heaven or what I imagine heaven to be like. The pressure was perfect throughout the entire session. I left feeling relaxed and completely rejuvenated--it felt like having a new pair of legs. I plan to incorporate this into my life at least twice a month moving forward.  If you are looking for a great reflexology spot, Joy Feet is a 10/10. Your feet will appreciate it!

However, I'm not familiar with apothecary so that could be why. Based on the description I decided to book the Craniosacral Therapy 60 min. Honestly, I did not know what I was booking. I thought it was a head massage but it was not. Although it was not what I expected, it was exactly what I needed. Over this past year, I have been going through a lot mentally and the Craniosacral Therapy really helped me release the stress and negativity I was bottling in. I cried a lot! When I walked out of that room, I felt extremely light as if I left all my stress in that room. Miranda was my therapist, and probably one of the best human beings I have ever met. She read my mind, she knew what I was feeling. She really helped me through my emotions. It was an incredible experience to work on my inner body. The atmosphere is extremely peaceful, beautifully decorated, and smells so good. The staff members are very pleasant. I did not get pushed into any commitment which kept the experience good for me. Looking over their services and packages, they're priced pretty reasonable compared to other local places. I had such a great experience I will come back often.

Neither was addressed and pressure was light-medium at best. Arms and legs got a lot of attention but my arms and legs did not need attention. Somewhat relaxing for what it was but not what I asked for or feel like I paid for. Therapist also stopped a few times as if distracted. I almost asked if she was ok, then she came back to life and kept going. It was odd. Is that some energy healing modality? Products for sale were very scented, which I am sensitive to but massage used scent free products. Thank you. I'd try another service or different therapist with a specific therapeutic deep tissue or Thai massage focus. Maybe book more days in advance. The space is fantastic.

I was quickly greeted by the friendly lady working at the front desk and let her know of the Gift Certificate. She asked if I wanted to purchase any Add-Ons but I politely declined. I waited about 5 mins for the masseuse to prepare and once he was ready, he beckoned me in. I've had a couple of foot massages in the past so I knew what to expect. I was given a basket to place my shoes and belongings in and placed my feet in the warm water while Ale, the masseuse, put a warm towel across me. He worked on my upper body first for about 20-25 mins. He focused on the pressure points in my head and massaged my neck and back. He then started on my lower legs and feet for the remainder of the session. I did ask for "medium" pressure but there were times that I had to move my legs a bit to hint that the pressure was a bit too hard, almost painful even. Once Ale got the hint, he softened up a bit and I throughly enjoyed the rest of the foot massage. The soft music, warm towel and dim lights made for a relaxing ambiance and I definitely dozed off a bit lol. Foot massages are beneficial for pain relief, stress relief and improved circulation, among other great benefits, so if you are experiencing any of those issues, definitely head over to Relax the Feet.

I booked online which was very easy. I had 2 Groupons which were no problem to use for my sister and I. We were early but they took us right away. When you walk back into the room, it is immediate feeling of relaxation. The dimmed lights, the music....it's so peaceful. You sit in your chair and they have a basket to put your shoes in. NO CELL PHONES! Turn them down and put them away! They soak your feet and you get a massage while that is happening. I definitely was doing the head nod when I kept falling asleep. The foot massage...the hot stones. It was all wonderful. And when you are done and walk out they DO NOT ask about membership or anything!! I was so surprised but they do text you later. But I love that they do not ruin the vibe. It's pretty much a $1 a minute. They have 40, 60 and 90 minute sessions. But then they have the big kahuna which is 120 minutes for $120. And if you want an escape from work they have them during the week, during lunch for $5 off the regular price. Highly recommend. I do have questions though - maybe you can help. What do you tip??????? I left $20. Is that too much, not enough or just right? It was worth every penny.
